Beyond Explanation

 I just watched The News about Vance visiting Greenland uninvited and the local Indigenous Inuit who occupy Greenland don't want him or America there and involved in their Sovereign Nation at all.  They don't Trust that America has ever done Right by the Indigenous on our own Continent, which, America clearly hasn't.   So the Inuit of Greenland know their best interests are not at Heart for this Regime's Interest in wanting to take over their Land and Nation.  They should have these concerns, all this Colonial Attitude of this Regime is to take over and Steal what belongs to someone else, dominate and then oppress or even commit Ethnic Cleansing.  America wouldn't be doing Greenland or it's Citizens any favors by "Owning" it or Invading it, that's for sure.  The Citizens feel disrespected since only Denmark has been involved in talks about what America demands now.

   Denmark for the most part has allowed the Indigenous to occupy Greenland unmolested and that's what they want for themselves, their Children and their Grandchildren, as it should be.  It's rich in Minerals and Shipping Lanes America now wants to exploit, at the expense of the people already inhabiting and Owning their Ancestral Land.  The whole Population of Greenland is not even 57,000, Faroe Islands just over 52,000 and Nuuk, the Capitol, just over 18,000.   Their gross Domestic Product is over 3 Billion Dollars tho' and their per capita income is over $57,000.   I'm sure the Orange Greed Monster would love to get his Hands on their 3 Billion Annually!  It is the least populated Country and over 89% are Greenlandic Inuit with just over 7% being Danish and 1% being Nordic, another 1% being other Ethnicities.  So, it's one of the few Countries left belonging to Indigenous Peoples and they'd like for it to stay that way, as it should.

Vance tried to lie and say Denmark hasn't been a good Ally!  Previous American Ambassadors dispute that, becoz Denmark's Military fought alongside us in various conflicts and been great Allies!  Vance either doesn't know what the Hell he's talking about or is as much a Liar or as Ignorant about History as the President.  And we already know what the Canadians and Panamanians think about this Administration trying to Steal what they Own and exploit them and oppress them.  DonOld is no better than Putin and has a similar Agenda to just Invade other Sovereign Nations and try to Steal what's theirs and make it his.   He's already Stealing what belongs to Americans and will fleece our Country robbing it blind for his own Gain.  If you Trust any Conman with your Money you're a Fool!

The Son took Princess T in to Work Today so I could just Sleep In, I was grateful.  My Shoulder Pain has been bad and I know I'll probably have to give in and get it checked out.   Since Pain Management of it now has been impossible and rendered it unable to be used very much.  I can't be One Armed.  *LOL*  The injury to it is over Three Years Old, back when during Lockdown the ER's wouldn't even see you for such things and a lot of Doc Offices wouldn't either, they were all on Crisis Standard of Care at the time.  So it probably Healed all Wrong on it's own and now the consequences of that are flaring up more and more.  I remember having more minor Medical problems, Dental problems and Accidents during Pandemic than I've ever had in my Life!   Ain't that the way it often goes, having those kinda things happen at the worst possible times?  *Le Sigh*

I've procrastinated getting it seen to since it had to be neglected so long ago and Heal on it's own.   There didn't seem to be much point now, after a long deferred Treatment was Denied when it first happened.   I mean, if I broke or fractured it way back then and didn't get Care like I should have, since it was Denied to all of us with Injuries at the time, what would they be able to Undo now, you know?   Offer to break it again and reset it properly?   No Thanks.   And people I know who've had Shoulder or Knee Surgery or Replacements, have had such long Recoveries and Mixed Results, that I just don't wanna go thru all that if I don't have to either.  I recently avoided that Implant for the Heart Thingy by a Hair, shit, I was laying on the Table they'd do the Procedure on, just Minutes away, before the Doc and I reached an Agreement this Elective Surgery wasn't the best decision!  I kinda feel that way about my Shoulder too, instinctively, just leave it alone and don't take Elective Surgical risks.

It's not as if I haven't discussed the Issue with Docs since it's happened.  They know I had a Senior Fall and jacked up said Shoulder in early 2020 back when nobody would see me for it.   So, Five Years later, probably not something Done that can be easily or successfully Undone now, Right?   I have to Help with The Man transferring to and from Chairs and Beds, so, I need to be able to use my own Limbs and not have a lengthy Rehab of my own that limits Caregiving abilities.   The Daughter and Princess T are Strong but they are tiny little Sprites compared to me. Princess T doesn't weigh 100 lbs. and The Daughter weighs about 125.  I'm a Sturdy built Woman who is a Solid 200 and can Outlift them still. With The Man, he's no lightweight, he's about 240 lbs. and like a Sac of Rocks, he can't Help himself, he's Dead Weight.  

 I can do that, they have trouble with that.  The Son is at Work most of the time, he can lift as much as me, and Help sometimes.  But Men often don't like another Man having to Help them... stubborn Male Pride and all.   And, Fathers not wanting their Sons to see them appear to be Weak or Defenseless.  *Le Sigh*   So, The Man often resists our Son Helping him at all and it would just lead to a conflict between them if The Son insisted and his Dad stubbornly refuses the Help or gets contrary and defensive about being Helped.  He'll take the Help from us Women.  Well, when you realize which Three Women he has to Deal with, you'd understand Why it would be easier and BEST that he just did, Right?  *Bwahahahaha*   This is a Matriarchal Run Household right here and that's how we Roll.  He came from a Patriarchal Household but he had to learn right quick, that's not at all how I was Raised Up.  *Winks*  I'm so Fortunate my Dad came from a Matriarchal Tribal Society and Raised Up very Strong Boss Women who aren't to be trifled with.

It doesn't make a Man Weaker or less Manly to be in a Matriarchal Society actually, it makes for Stronger Partnerships between the Genders and isn't hung up on Gender Roles.   Everyone is Stronger and can be good Leaders when you Raise Strong Sons and Strong Daughters.   Plus, in many Tribal Societies, Gender didn't mean as much either, it's a total non-issue.   They had no hang-ups about the other more Fluid Genders like Theocratic Westerners had and still have about being LGBTQ+.  My Dad was Two-Spirit and in Tribal Society it's Honored.  We didn't have Gender Roles growing up, anything we happened to be best at, or liked to do, is what we did, regardless if you were a Boy or a Girl.  I happened to excel in what are Traditionally Male Roles of Western Society and my Dad's Sage Advice at how to move forward in a Patriarchal Non-Tribal Society off the Reservation was simply, "Just do it better than any Man and bow down to No Man."  

 That Works just Fine and certainly did for Yours Truly.  *Winks*  I think that The Man probably should have been Raised more like I was, coz he was a Misfit in his own Family and just effortlessly fit in to ours.  He was very close to my Dad and not to his own.   My FIL was very harsh with his Children, my Dad was quite Strict but not a harsh Man.  I never felt any distance between myself and my Parents growing up, I felt I had excellent Parenting and emulated them when I became a Parent.  I passed along many of the ways my Parents had passed along to me.  Frankly even when you have the Prodigal Child, if they've been Raised right they Mature enuf to appreciate the Foundation you laid for them to build Life upon.  I just try never to get so Old I forget what it was like to be Young.  That's some of the best Advice both my Parents gave to me.  They got along well with all Young People.  I do too. 

 We did some Environmental Cleanup and saw that at the Nature Preserve they've had Volunteer Cleanup Crews and a big Commercial Dumpster and Porta-Potties set up and really cleaning up all the illegal dumping.  Of coarse, Piggish Environmentally Unconscious and Illegal Dumpers will continue with their violations.   If they catch them doing it they get Fined, but it's so hard in more remote areas for them to Patrol enough to catch the Offenders.  We've rarely ever seen whose doing it, in the Act of doing it.   We probably took about 20 Lbs. of Aluminum Cans out of there Today.  The River is running even faster and higher than before, it will crest the Road if it gets 4 inches higher.  Then they'll have to close off the Road, too dangerous.  The Wildlife are Loving it and it is a Nature Preserve and has a lot of Wild Birds who Nest there.

We found a whole Pack full of Reservation Smokes somebody Lost, Love the Packaging Graphics.  The Son said these are very expensive, doesn't have additives to the Tobacco.  Not Healthier of coarse, he said it Helps to cut Cravings from the Unnatural Ingredients other Brands use that cause more Cravings and Addiction... so a lot of folks trying to cut back or give up Smoking wean themselves by switching to Brands like this.  We always find things folks Lose while doing our Environmental Cleanup.  We got Home and there were a couple of Letters for The Man from Social Security, one out of the East Coast Office and one out of the West Coast Office and I'm thinking... Oh No, what now?  Especially with the whole DOGE thing going on at Social Security.   So, I didn't know what to expect?!

So, I opened the East Coast Office Letter first which said he no longer Qualified for Social Security Benefits beginning January of 2024!  Yes, last Year 2024!   Why?   Because he is eligible for a higher benefit on another Record.  WTF?  Okay, so I open the West Coast Office Letter now and this must be the other Record they speak of coz it says his Monthly Benefit as of January of 2024 should have been 2/3 Higher than what he'd gotten in all of 2024, so it would be adjusted and we were Credited a large amount due to that Error.   Well, whew and Yay!    But, it also makes one Wonder, if they screwed up this much for a whole Year in their Favor, what would happen if they screwed up that much for a whole Year in your Favor?   Yeah... either way, it's no bueno, Right?  Getting grossly underpaid or grossly overpaid is problematic any way you cut it and those kinds of screw ups are consequential to Recipients.

The Good News being his Social Security Checks now are a LOT higher than he has been getting, enuf so that it covers the cost of that Loan we had to take out to replace our Ductwork and Insulation.  Hallelujah!  So, it also meant the Credit they had to pay us for Back Payments Owed to us, also covers any Taxes we might owe when we File for 2024, also, huge Sigh of Relief!   When we'd gotten back Home I saw that The Daughter had done some major Housekeeping and Organization in the Main House and it looks Amazing.  She's so good at both that I've given her the authority to do whatever she feels needs to be done or changed, she's got good ideas, so, just implement them.   She always asks me what I think after she's done it and so far it's all been favorable and very much appreciated and an improvement.  I'm no Domestic Goddess and I can't say Organization is a Strength of mine, nor being Editorial.  I'll gladly delegate that to someone who has those Strengths.

On the Homefront, The Young Prince is supposed to leave New Mexico by April 11th.  The Niece will still go get him but we really aren't sure if Allen is going to Honor Renting a U-Haul for our Grandson to bring all his Possessions?   So, the Niece has told him when she shows up, all she can do is offer the back Seat of her Car to load what he can shove in there and pay for Gas to Arizona.  That's all we can offer also, so, if Allen doesn't come thru with Bankrolling the Move for his soon to be Ex, then our Grandson must come to terms with having to leave most of his Worldly Possessions behind.  That will be hard, he has Sentimental Value to much of his Art and Collections, which some of that also has actual Value.  But, we can't Bankroll a U-Haul from New Mexico to Arizona, it would be around $1,600, we don't have it.   So... we'll see what happens and made it clear what has to happen, if he expects to get here with just The Niece and her Car on a shoestring budget they have.  I'd Hoped Allen would Honor his Promise, but, since their Marriage is ending, perhaps he's going to be difficult, I just don't know?

 

I just Hope it all works out, we'll see.   I know he'd asked his Dad if he could Help out, but I don't know what Bobby's Situation is right now since his own Relationship hit the skids last Year too.   I think Angie got the House and the Kids and Bobby just had to get an Apartment, but I haven't had contact to know if he too is financially tight and can't Help his Oldest Son much right now either?   I know he would if he could, but perhaps he just can't?   He still has those Two Younger Children to Support and our Grandson is now a Grown Man.   He understands that any Minor Siblings would have to be a priority to his Dad.  Having a total Peace about it all is difficult, its a complex situation any way you cut it.  Someone with an Incurable Serious Illness knows that's how it will always be and that is hard on so many levels.   Especially since most Services for Serious Disabled People are being slashed or eliminated now and they know they'll be forsaken by most of Society.

Anyway, Moving On... I have been trying to wrap up the Freebie Amazon Series with Billy Bob Thornton and am in the end of Season 3 of a 4 Season Series.  It's getting Weird and I HATE when a good one does that, I was enjoying it so much until it began just getting loopy.  So, I'm glad there's not much left to watch becoz I'm finding it already harder to get thru and watch when it becomes bizarre.   And that's where they've now gone in Season 3 of "Goliath", I'm starting to get disappointed of the direction it's going, dammit!!!   It just got so Weird I don't know what the fuck is going on, one minute he's in Real Time as a Lawyer, then he's in the Old West like he's Trippin', then he's in Chinatown like he's Trippin', then he's at the Casino on a Rez but like he's taken some Peyote... I just don't know what's going on?!?  *LOL*   They made it clear his character is an Alcoholic who Drinks too much.   So perhaps he's having those Alcohol induced Psychosis that bad Alcoholism causes, with Blackouts and such... but, it's getting very muddled.

 

I do know he has an even newer Mini Series called "Landman", but I think that's on Amazon and we don't have Amazon, we have NetFlix and whatever Freevee is Teasing you with on Trial Periods, which is what I'm watching "Goliath" on right now actually.   I'm just deciding whether I wanna try to binge watch it Tonight and if it will get better when it enters into the last Season of it?   I don't really know how they'll finish it if it just gets worse?  *LOL*   But, it's still better than watching The News, since, that's ALL Bad, right?  And not Fiction, we're actually Living thru all that Fuckery in Real Time!   Such an Avalanche of Fuckery Daily now that you can't make that much of a shitstorm up!!!  It's worse than the most Outrageous of Soap Operas!!!   I know the rest of the World has to be Wondering what the Fuck is going on with and happened to America!?!   *Eye Roll*   I mean even we can't Explain it, it's beyond Explanation at this point of the Insanity and Fuckery of it all.

I'd wanted to try to wrap up this Post, but I just can't.   I am contemplating that Sunday I may go back to The Desert Botanical Gardens and re-photograph some of that Quilt Square Exhibit, since, my Memory Card in the Stolen Camera is now gone that held all the other Pixs.  Tho' I did download them here in a Photo Archive Folder, I'm pissed that my Memory Card is in that New Camera, all now Lost and in the possession of some Rando Thief who took it.   Still Mad at myself... I hadn't even had Time yet to get a Thank You Card out to Debra for the damned thing before Losing it, so embarrassing and humiliating to admit.   Now I'm even Wondering if that Group of Young Adults that came into the Showroom while I was busy Photographing the Dolls might have deliberately distracted me?   And been the ones to then pocket it when I was preoccupied and distracting answering their Questions about the Shirts?   I know I had to quit doing what I was doing and set my Camera and Phone down to Help them.  Last time I saw it or had it, then poof, gone.

I get so irate at Thieves, becoz it's becoming so out of control with people Stealing and nobody doing anything about it even when you report a Theft.   So, Victims of Theft are just shit out of Luck and out of Pocket for what has been Lost.   Anyway, since the beginning of the Year it seems Theft is up again at our Antique Mall, but, it probably is everywhere and not just there.   The Moral Compass of Society is in serious decline and it does bother me, a lot.   But, how someone else behaves none of us can control, just our reaction to it.  And I know there's still a lot of Good People out there and that Hopefully, we're still in the Majority?   I was supposed to get around to our Taxes this past Week but I didn't and will have to do it now next Week.  And really steel myself to fucking just Organize all the Paperwork to bring in to our CPA and set up the Appointment and get all that behind us.  I dread Tax Time coz I know there's no Refunds anymore for most folks like us.

So funny that Today while doing Environmental Cleanup The Man comes up and tells me he's Found Fifty-Cents and hands me a torn Half of a Dollar Bill, without the other Half that goes with it.  *LMAO*  Well, wouldda been of Value and not Worthless if you'd have Found Two Quarters instead Honey, was all I could say and we both Laughed.  *Smiles*  Makes me Wonder what someone was doing at the River to have torn a Dollar Bill in Half and just Lost or thrown away Half of it?  People can be so Weird.   And this is being said by someone who is a self professed Weirdo, but, damn, some of these folks got me beat!  *LOL*

Rob has been totally evading us, so has his Brother TJ, which is highly unusual.  Usually they have contact with our Family almost every day.  I doubt they even know I resolved the problem with the John Deere Distributor, so, they're still hiding out, knowing there was a Situation they didn't fix and the one Brother caused.  I'm Okay for now not having contact becoz tho' I have forgiven what happened, the fact Rob didn't Man Up about fucking up and tried to deflect blame onto who he Wronged, did piss me off.  It reminds me too much of what this current Administration does.  Fuck up constantly and affect everyone around them with their epic Mistakes.   Then try to place blame anywhere but on themselves.  People who do that remain Fuck-Ups becoz they never Own their own Mistakes and never have the courage or maturity to face any of it and admit what THEY have done and caused.  I'd rather keep chronic Fuck-Ups outside of my Orbit and at a distance, so their impact isn't as consequential to us.

Of coarse you can't do that with your Government when they've Elected Fuck-Ups and those who Voted them in refuse to Face Reality either or are easy Marks and refuse to know the Predator has made them Prey.  When The Son took his Dad and I out for Breakfast Yesterday Morning, one of the Young White Bus Boys, whose a Nepotism Hire by the Owners of the popular Family Owned Restaurant, was wearing his MAGA Hat at Work.  He reminds me of the kind of Kid who isn't very Bright and will never be much of a Success, but his extended Family have worked hard and done well for themselves, so, will make a place for him when he can't make his own.  He's a pleasant enuf Kid, but just doesn't surprise us at all he's a MAGA Devotee and simply MUST Advertise it, no matter how abysmal or embarrassing his Heroes record becomes.  He checks all the Boxes really, for to be vulnerable to what the Cult shovels it's rabid Supporters who can't get enuf of the Circus and Clown Car full of Political Theater Entertainment to the Base. 

I guess many who succumb to the Long Con will be the same folk who watch "Reality TV" and actually think it's Reality?   And of coarse Faux News and think it's legitimate News too.  *Eye Roll*  We have a Vendor, who I actually really still like, and therefore won't Name, who watches Faux News and Parrots what it says, all the time.  Of coarse he's almost 80 and I attribute that detachment from Reality somewhat to some cognitive decline and Mental Health Issues going on.  He'll Believe almost any Conspiracy Theory making the rounds and I know he used to be a Successful Businessman in his day, until he wasn't and his Life unraveled right around Retirement and he had to go on Psyche Meds.   He lost his Marriage, all his Businesses, only recently has reconnected with his Adult Children, and doesn't do well at the Antique Mall but stubbornly won't fold 'em.  He still Rents too much Space and Works so many Shifts, always still Owing The Mall.  He just won't Walk Away.

But, he's a really likeable Old Guy and I genuinely feel Sorry for him and consider him my Friend.  Yes, even in spite of his outlandish Political leanings, which, just won't budge, even if this Administration cause him and those like him to become completely destitute and forsaken.  And he knows my Sentiments about his Politics and about shit he's doing that he knows he should Change and just stubbornly won't.  He's asked my Advice before, but, tho' Agrees it would benefit him, just won't implement Strategies that would work and Problem Solve.  He knows I was a "Fixer" in both of my Corporate Lives, so he genuinely respects my Advice, and often Solicits it, but, has trouble taking it and doing anything with it.  I think a lot of folks with Problems aren't necessarily Solutions Oriented and a lot of this is Why they Voted as they did and might again?   Sometimes having a Problematic Life or being The Victim, or Perceived Victim of Life, becomes so familiar, so defining, that Solutions becomes unfamiliar and perhaps even scarier to them? 

I once had a Wise Pastor say that you can get the Person out of the Mess, but, if you don't get the Mess out of the Person, they just fall right back into it.   So True.   It often has to be an Inside Job only they have to seek the Real Help for and exorcise, before Externally anything is gonna get any better for them.  And of coarse, you cannot Fix Stupidity, that's just a Fact.  Even when I was a "Fixer" for Corporations and running their Damage Control, if what they were Originating was still Bad and they didn't Solve that, no amount of "Fixing" would Save them going Down or Under.   And it happened in the Banking Industry, many Failed and none of us "Fixers" could Save them from themselves and Right all the Wrongs they piled up for themselves.  This is what's happening to the Orange Buffoon's Administration, the first 1.0 imploded, and this 2.0 will also.  His "Fixer" Michael Cohen should be heeded, he was in Deep with 1.0, to the Point he did Time for what Services he did as a "Fixer" before Walking Away.   He was in the Inside enuf to know their Drill.

Now, to be sure most Businesses need someone to Fix whatever goes Wrong.  I personally made a shit ton of Money being a Corporate Fixer and I didn't mind being one at all.  I Fix Problems, that's what I happened to be very good at.  It saved those who Hired me a lot of Money they might otherwise have hemorrhaged had they not had me on Salary or Retainer.   But, when I'd spot Illegalities that had caused whatever Problems they had, I'd have to dump that in the Laps of whoever would then have the ultimate authority to make the important decisions to authorize whatever should then be done about it, including hiring Legal Counsel.  I'm not a Lawyer.  And believe me, Corrupt practices abound becoz all Success has Temptations that some Employed will not be able to resist.  It's up to your Character and Moral Compass, what you will never get involved with or decline, and keep Clean of.   I would think at the very top of the Food Chain the Temptations abound.   And too many succumb to the allure they'll get away with whatever dirty deeds they get themselves dirty doing.

And to Save themselves from consequences, many will throw everyone else under the Bus and cut their own Deals to minimize their Risks.  That's what you saw play out in 1.0 and you will again in 2.0.   And rigging the various Systems has worked pretty well for them thus far.  It's impressive how much they've corrupted all the Safeguards so that Guardrails failed.   But, once it impacts the 99% hard, there will be consequences for the 1% they won't be able to avoid, Trust and Believe.  It will get real Messy.  I expect it to and what I personally think the Solution will and should be... might just happen too, we'll wait and see?

MUCH LATER Sunday:  Well, I did go to The Desert Botanical Gardens.  I had to retake Pixs of the Quilt Square Exhibit since my Memory Card holding the previous visit was Stolen with my New Camera.  I'll probably not be able to Walk Tomorrow coz I did so many Squats to Photograph the Squares that my Thighs are burning.  *LOL*  It took 40 Minutes to get to the Middle, and I wasn't about to take 40 Minutes to get out, so I cheated the Labyrinth and stepped over some of the ropes holding the Squares like some Kids were doing to get out more quickly.  *Bwahaha*  Hey, when you're Old nobody says anything to ya about doing something inappropriate like that and the Kids were getting away with it.  *Winks*  I got some good Pixs and some I hadn't taken before, along with some of the Squares I liked and Photographed before, they'll be in Future Posts for your Enjoyment of the Arts.   You're Welcome.  *Smiles*

It was a beautiful and Warm Day, not much Wind, so easier to Photograph the Squares than last time.  I spent Hours there in the Gardens and had a lovely Brunch that they Host on Sundays.  I got the Sonoran Pulled Pork Benny Meal {Above}.  It's Green Chili Pulled Pork, Green Chili Hollandaise, Two Poached Eggs on a Toasted English Muffin, with smashed Fingerling Roasted Potatoes with Sea Salt and a Berry Basil Lemonade.   A Young Fancy looking Lady on Vacay was sitting beside me at the Bar, which was the only available Seating.  She was very Loud and animated, and there with Friends, the more Wine she drank, the more Loud and animated she became.  But, she struck up a conversation with me and was actually very nice and liked the look of what I ordered, asked my opinion about it, and ordered the same, Thanking me.

I stopped at a couple of Downtown Goodwills on the way Home, it was Military Discount Day 25% Off.  I Scored an Antique Carnival Glass Round Deviled Egg and Relish Tray, never seen one of those before, ever!!!  {see Below}  I got it for Ten Bucks after my Discount.   Online they Sell for around $125!   It's the Aqua Marigold Overlay.   It's super heavy.   I got a Trader Joe Tote Bag and a couple of Celebrity Cookbooks, one by Pamela Anderson.  Both Books were like new and their Retail Cover Price was $35 each, I got both for under Five Bucks total with my Discount.   They had opened a new Goodwill in the Heart of Downtown Phoenix, but it's not very large and I didn't find anything Special in that one, their Donations seemed to be Meh from the Downtown Inner City Yuppie Donors.   But one near Home Scored me the Treasures I Found and Bought.

The Kiddos had done a BBQ while I was out and took Care of The Man, they had Friends over and saved me some of the Trifecta of Taco Meats they'd Grilled.   All were Chicken but various Trio of Marinated flavors, very good.   Tomorrow they're making Homemade Pizza from a Sprouts Pizza Kit that includes the fresh Dough and everything you need for a Pepperoni Pizza.  The Kit was in the Deli Section for only $3.00 and has Fresh Grated Mozzarella, Fresh Pepperoni, and a Fresh Tomato Sauce with Seasonings as well as the Fresh Ball of Pizza Dough.   I'm looking forward to Dinner Tomorrow then.  *Winks*

I finished watching "Goliath", I liked how it ended, they've left room for a sequel.  I'd watch a sequel if they made one.  The Weird parts aside, it was good and the characters were ones you could get invested in.  I think I'll try to find "Landman" with Billy Bob Thornton on some of the Streaming Services we get for Free or watch it if NetFlix gets it eventually.  Right now it's only on Amazon, which, we're not buying a subscription to.  I do like these Streaming options tho', The Niece got me hooked when she gifted us with NetFlix, now The Son renews it for me.  It's worth it for the One Hour Comedy Specials alone IMO of major Comedians.   Regular TV has crap on now, including Cable, tho' The Man watches Cable TV exclusively, so we've never cancelled our Cable TV.  He'd be lost without his Cable TV Show reruns.  *Smiles*  That's the main complaint I have, so many reruns.  So few Shows I wanna watch either.
