And Now For Something Completely Different... A Peek Into My Intimates

 

This was how The Young Prince went Grocery Shopping Today with his Uncle and I, he looked Lovely and I said so and had to capture it thru the Eye of my Lens.  He said something quite Profound, considering his Struggle with Serious Mental Illness, "You often can't Change how you Feel or have a Choice about that, but you can Change how you Look and have a Choice about that.  So, I always try to Look good even if I Feel awful."  Life is always about a succession and series of Choices made, isn't it?  At least for those things we can Choose and Change.

He does Look totally different now this Afternoon, it's not unusual for him to have a Change of Outfits and Looks at least 2-3 times a Day.   His Sister is very much like that too, and likes to Change her Look and Outfits often, sometimes a couple times a day also.  Both will put a lot of effort into it, even if it's just for a brief time or for no reason at all, coz they don't intend to go anywhere looking that Good or even be Seen after all the Work put into it.   I should have each of them give me a Makeover, just for Fun, coz they both do really skillful Makeup application and Style Hair well.

Princess T did tell me she should learn the Crochet Method for Dreadlocks for Maintenance so she can do that for me.  It's how I initially had my Dreadlocks installed and you can Maintain them from the Roots from time to time that way as well.  But, so few people know how to do it locally and especially on Type 1 Dreadlocked Hair like mine.  My Hair Dreads easily and close to my Roots, which was a Surprise, but I get a lot of Baby New Hairs that don't Loc Up right away and can look fuzzy until they do decide to join with a Dreadlock.  So, I'd look tidier with some regular Maintenance done.

There are Online Tutorials and Grandkids Love those Tutorials to learn something New, so I should encourage both of The G-Kid Force to Learn now to Maintain Dreadlocks and have them Practice on me.  *Smiles*  Since a Loctician often charges $80+ an Hour Professionally, if you can even find one skilled enuf to do a good Job and not rely on tactics long time Dreadheads always avoid.  I will never use Waxes, Root Flipping, or Extensions and I only ever use a reputable Dreadlock Shampoo that doesn't have any Residues in it. 

 I think that's why my Dreads have grown so well and so easily, without much damage like breakage, which can and does happen with Micro-Dreads that get too thin in spots or at the Ends.  I've had some Ends breakage due to how much less bulky my Tips are.  I don't mind coz they're so hard to trim and cut coz they are like Rope, so, if they break off a bit at the Ends, it's Naturally Trimmed them for me.  Since, some have gone past my Hips, that's been beneficial from time to time to shorten them without the hassle of trying to cut/trim them.  You could actually reattach those broken Dreads, some people save them and do, I don't.

Half the time when one breaks I don't know it and then it looks like a damned big Brown Hairy Caterpillar and scares the bejesus out of whoever in the Family sees it.  We've tried to 'Kill' a Dreadlock before, it's hilarious when we realize what it actually is.  *Bwahahaha*   Of coarse most have Matured to not be Thin at all so those have no breakage and could probably be strong enuf to tow a Car.  *LOL*  And I'd like for all of them to be healthy, strong, and thicker, coz I have less of them now and allowed the original 60+ to merge and Congo to around a more Manageable 17.  I initially liked the Wild Thickness of 60+ but as they get more Mature and thicker, it's not manageable for me, I'm too Old to Maintain that many and keep them Separated.  

So, I eventually just kept them Clean and quit keeping them Separated.  And then they just do what they wanna do... so are less Maintenance, I prefer Low Maintenance in anything now.  {Smiles}  I won't bore you talking about Hair anymore tho', Yawning... so, Moving On.  *Winks*  The Son made some Chili, it was excellent and he's getting so confident of his ability to make a good and different Chili each time now, that his is as good as mine ever was.   And, Politically now, James Talarico {Age 36} of Texas just Won the Democratic Primary in his State's Senate Race.  I've watched that Young Man's Star Rise and feel he'd make an excellent candidate for President IMO.  I'd Vote for someone like him and we desperately Need to get away from Electing Geriatric Leaders who are cognitively diminished, in decline, have no Future, and are out of Touch with what the World needs NOW.

I'd have some Hope for America if someone like him were in a high Position of Leadership, he checks off a lot of Boxes for good Leadership and a Heart for the American People, and, People in General.  He kind of reminds me of Ukraine's Leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy {Age 48} who really genuinely Cares about his People, his Country, and how he interacts with decency with other Nations in a Dignified Presidential manner that is admirable and respected.   And at that Age, he's in Touch with the Modern World... no Geriatric Men really are anymore, most Live in the Past at best, at worst, they're not even tethered to Reality anymore.  And as a Senior Citizen myself, I'm not bashing Elders becoz many are still competent and have Experiences, Expertise and Wisdom to Share that is valuable to the Younger Generations.  But, we need Younger Leadership and Age Limits to all of it IMO.  There's some things the extremely Aged should no longer be doing.

And now for something completely different... a Peek into my Intimates... which also seemed like a good Blog Post Title Hook since it sounds salacious.  *Bwahahahaha*  Above is a Bra with great Fabric Graphics that I just Scored at The Granddaughter's Chazza for Eight Bucks.   It's pretty enuf to wear as a Bathing Suit Top actually.  The only thing I am not crazy about is it does have Underwire and I usually won't Buy or wear an Underwire Bra.  But for this Material I made an exception, I just Loved the Sailor Jerry Style Graphics.   And finding one in my Size that goes way up the Alphabet *Smiles*, is Rare, so, it was quite a Score.  Usually if you're a BMW {Big Made Woman} your Intimates look Ugly and not the least bit Sexy or Attractive.  I don't like Bras that look like they're Steel Belted Radials like Tires in order to give you sufficient Support.   And don't even get me started on Granny Panties, I'd almost rather go Commando and Braless if it's all Ugly.   Sorry, now you got that Visual in your Psyche.  *LOL*

And, I also Scored this T-Shirt, not my Size, but hadda have it, how appropriate is it?  It's from "Spencer's" as one of their popular Specialty Tees, but finding it at a Chazza at a low Price and it's like Brand New, I didn't mind that it was a Size Small.  I'll put it on a Mannequin to Model, I often do that with some of my Fav Small Tees that Princess T doesn't wanna wear.  I like Fashion in General, and Specialty Tees in particular, they're Fun and I wear them a LOT.  I have Friends in the Industry who do Altered Fashion Art with the Graphics they like of them and can Create larger Fashions with the sum of the parts of those made just for Smaller folks.   I myself wanna start doing that with The Young Prince one day when we get situated enuf to focus on Art and Fashion more.

Princess T just came breezing in upset and breathless coz she had Rusty take her to CVS to Buy her Eyelashes and they've got up a whole Dollar, so now are Eight Bucks!  *Gasp*  She wasn't gonna pay that big an increase, but he insisted on Buying them for her, he likes her Eyes with the Big Sweeping Lashes she bats at him.  *Winks*  And I told her, well, Darlin', we just bombed and started a War with Iran, so everything is gonna go way, way up now.  And I made a totally Un-PC remark about 3rd World American exploitation of whoever makes these Lashes that America takes Advantage of to keep Prices Low... coz you know we're not making them here and paying $1.98 to the Worker who produces them.  That did make her Laugh coz she knows how brutally Not PC I am with my Gallow's Humor to make a Point about how Spoiled we are in America compared to most of the World's precious People.

I mean at The Jump of this Illegal War, that they didn't inform anyone about in advance, not the American People or our Allies, or get Congressional Approval for, they Bombed a Girl's School killing damned near 200 Innocent Children!   How that's making America 'Safer' or has anything to do with the myriad of varied excuses they're coming up with On The Fly now as their "Concept Of a Plan" for this War, please explain to me... I'll wait.   They're all over the place about what their objective allegedly is... and no projections... no Off Ramp... no Clue if this will Escalate to a World War that drags the United Nations into it once they're Attacked too.  No Promise that Boots won't be on the Ground coz you sure as Hell can't Bomb a Regime Change into Being, that's never happened in all of History and never will.  As George Carlin once said, Bombing for Peace is like Fucking for Virginity.

And the Polls that came out saying how many ReTrumplicans now are Approving this War was staggering to me.  These be the same Voters who Voted for him coz they didn't want no more Wars, didn't wanna involve America in Foreign Affairs and Policing the World, wanted Economic Security and no Government Wasting their Tax Dollars!  He's the antithesis of all of that in Reality, yet, they flip flop so much if their Guy does all of it, that they're Peas in a Pod with him and are just as unstable, wishy-washy, stupid, and unpredictable.  If they thought Tariffs drove prices up to make Life harder, just wait 'til the instability of War and how much a War is gonna Cost jacks everything way up and their Loved Ones are sent to Die for One Man's Vanity.   Russia has lost over a Million of their Young People already over Putin's Vanity in their senseless War and being his Expendables.

So, I see his whole Party going right off the Cliff with him into the Abyss and they were heading that way all along.  Only a few bailed in time to Save themselves, like MTG, who, tho' she wasn't all that bright, wasn't completely all that Stupid either and is trying to now sound the Alarm to the MAGA who won't bail.   I have heard tell that his Cult think he's Chosen by Jesus to usher in their Rapture!  And that he'll usher in Armageddon for the rest of us.  Since they expect destruction of everyone but them, so feel no remorse about any of this playing out and them being complicit.  And why they Worship him like he's their Orange Jesus and hang on his every Word as if he's Holy, and has started their Holy War, it really has become a demented Cult Following, for sure.  Religious Extremism is very dangerous and deadly... always.

I tried out my New Key to the 5th Wheel, it works... the 5th Wheel interior was a disaster, she and her Son have a whole level of Crazy that sometimes manifests in how they'd live without intensive Caregiving monitoring their living conditions.  She can Clean spectacularly, people Hire her to Clean becoz she can do it so well.  Sometimes her own Space is immaculate... and other times, it looks like a scene from Hoarders, and I don't mean in a good way.  I cleaned out the little Fridge in there of what should be thrown out... she puts weird shit in refrigeration like balled up empty plastic grocery bags... don't ask Why... I couldn't tell you???  And plates with a scrap of Food on them, that is petrified.  No real Food in the Fridge, so it didn't smell bad, just stuff, a Bag Full, that didn't need to be in there.  I couldn't see the Floor for Clothing strewn about.

 

The Cupboards and Drawers were neatly Organized, but the Countertop was haphazard mish-mash of Disorganization.  So, places unseen were maintained and places seen were so NOT maintained.  She can and does whip it into shape and proudly show me when I tell her it has to be more sanitary and orderly than she has it.  So, we have to line up another one of those Talks when she returns.  Like her Son, they wear all their Clothing before they finally do Laundry, instead of doing it as they go... same with Dishes/Glasses, they'd use them all before they would voluntarily Wash any.  It doesn't seem to compute that if they did it as they go, it would be so much less Work and Chaos surrounding them and causing heightened Anxiety and Depression.  Having Two Schizophrenics with D.I.D. and a Spouse with Dementia having similar "Self Maintenance" Issues is hard, it's a LOT.  It never Improves coz there's no Cure for what's Wrong with them all.

 

The Son being Autistic is easier when it comes to his Self-Care coz Autistic Folk tend to be very structured and like things just so and the same.  So his Room is always immaculate, in Order, just don't Change anything, even slightly, or he'd melt down about it.  He helped me with the 5th Wheel coz he was afraid I'd fall and break a Hip just trying to get thru there, just like with The Art Studio Space with his Nephew having the same Problem as his Mother... so, it looks Chaotically similar and Crazy.  Institutionalization Crazy, the type where Adult Protective Services, if they lived Alone, would say, yeah, we have to Call this in and Commit you for your own Safety and Well Being, coz, it's not Okay.  So, the rest of us {ie: Me, The Son & Princess T} have to monitor the other Three to ensure they're being Clean and Safe enuf.  The Son was very upset his Sister and Nephew are showing their level of Crazy... so he can no longer be in Denial about just how Crazy they are.

This is why The Son and Princess T are so worried about what will happen when I Go?  I did have a small Anxiety Attack when I went in to the 5th Wheel... but I had to tell myself, well, mostly it's just Clothes, an explosion of Clothes... so, it'll be Okay once I make her Organize it all again, and make sure they're all Laundered and put away.  She can do that, it actually doesn't even take her all that long to, which is why I don't understand why she lets it get so bad before she goes Tasmanian Devil on it and whips it all into a thing of Beauty and Cleanliness?  The Addled Mind is just a level of that kind of Crazy I cannot comprehend.  I'm Crazy, but not at that level of Crazy.  But, since they're both living here now, their Disorder and Uncleanliness has to be Managed.  I keep track of The Man, he's Tidy, but forgets Hygiene now he's got Dementia, and doesn't self-motivate, but, that's Manageable to me.

I can just say, Honey, you already wore those Clothes so put them in the dirty Clothes and put on something Fresh.  Then I'll remind him when to Shower, Eat, Drink something, comb his Hair.  He's not to the point yet where I have to do all of that FOR him, but, that Day could come as it progresses.   With The Daughter being gone for a few Weeks now I realized most dirty Dishes were hers that stacked up.  Even The Young Prince is doing quite a bit better at not leaving dirty Dishes or uneaten Food around coz I told him the first time it attracts Bugs or Mice, he's Evicted.  So he is bringing them out and mostly I have him to use Paper Plates and Paper Bowls, easier for him to just bring them to the Kitchen Garbage then and we throw it all away.

I think I told the Story once, that when we lived at the Villa McManse, which was Two Stories and he had a full Mother-In-Law Apartment on the Second Floor, with it's own Galley Style Kitchen that he occupied.  One Day his Sister looked out his Kitchen Window and on the Roof she saw Dishes.  Turns out when his Dish was dirty, he'd throw it out his Kitchen Window onto the Roof directly under the Galley part of the Kitchen!!!  Hard to explain, but the Home was Huge and had an interesting 1st and 2nd Floor configuration and Inner Courtyards you could look down into from parts of the 2nd level.   So, once she told me what her Brother was doing I made him go out onto the Roof and retrieve his Dirty Dishes and Wash them... and check to make sure he wasn't doing anything Crazy like that anymore!!!

In the Telling of that Story it was always hilarious, coz my Friends could just picture him, at Age 15, saying, this one's dirty, and tossing it out the Kitchen Window rather than Washing it in the Sink that looked out across that part of the House!!!  *LOL*  My Bestie and Co-Worker Friend from the DA's Office, Bess, said I always had the Best Stories of my Crazy Household.  It kept her endlessly Entertained during the Years we Worked together, coz she was Unmarried and never had any Kids, and was a few Years Older than me.  Sadly, shortly after we both Retired, and we Retired within 2 Weeks of each other since I had to take the Early Retirement due to Personal Reasons with The Family's Health Issues, she got Advanced Dementia. 

 She didn't know who I was anymore, but knew I must have known her a long time coz I remembered the little Dog, Sam, she'd had when we first met many Years ago.  And I knew her Boyfriend, Jim, who she'd Dated for over 45 Years!   So, we still talked and she apologized for not knowing who I even was anymore, but I told her I knew who she was, and that's all that mattered, so, don't worry about it.   Bess was always a Riot, Wicked Sense of Humor, and I really miss her.  A couple Years ago I had her Christmas Card returned to me and I don't think she's with us any longer... in Mind or Body?   And Jim was Older than her and I had no way to get in touch with him to ask what happened to her, or if something happened to him first?   And she had no Kinfolk in Arizona since she was originally from Chicago... and I don't even know if she had any Kinfolk there either?  No Closure is always so hard.
