Something Wicked This Way Comes

 

Oddly CNN was offline on Cable TV all day Friday, which was weird.  I don't watch News all the time and limit my exposure to all the News Stations.  Since it's typically heavy material to absorb, but I do check in with most of them from time to time in order to keep informed and see what each is reporting and the spin put on it from each Station's perspective and opinion.  Let's face it, none of it is Old Fashioned JUST reporting of the News anymore without an angle.  It was just strange for one of the major Stations to not be able to transmit all day, that's a lost day of coverage for them on Cable TV.  Made me wonder why and what happened that my Cable Server couldn't transmit and relay it to subscribers?   A Mystery.

My inquiring Mind needed to know and Online searches showed outages for several Cable Providers were noted, but, no explanations.   I did see that the Company has had Issues since 2022 tho', so, duly noted.  It's not the only place or Source I get Cable News or Local News and other Channels were working just fine with no interruptions.   Most News right now is all Political anyway and I already know how I'm Voting and there will be no sway in my decision about that, I'm Team Harris-Walz all the way.   I just hope Arizona sorts out the Voter Suppression Issues they exhibited in the Primaries?   I made my Complaints known then and demanded a different Ballot than the limited one they sent Princess T and I, but The Man got the one we all should have had. 

 I just felt they may have been trying to suppress the Female Vote, especially if you were on Mail In Ballot Status.   Since we're all Registered the same, as Independents, so, it was highly suspicious he had a Full Ballot and we did not.   I could only get a Full Ballot for myself, since you had to go in Person to swap out your limited Mail In Ballot at the Polls and Princess T is too Anxious to go in Person to Vote.  It was definitely an intentional inconvenience and trick to suppress you Voting for most Candidates running, since, had The Man not gotten a Full Ballot we wouldn't have seen we got a different seriously limited one!  And we had that one Candidate running for the Senate come to our Home in person and she told us we would have opportunity to Vote for her in the Primaries even tho' we're registered Independents. 

 The Man's Ballot was the only one that came in the Mail that allowed him to Vote for Senate, Congress and numerous other important Positions in the Primaries, Two Pages worth of choices for various Elected Officials.  The one us Gals got only allowed us to Vote for our City's Mayor and one other minor Position in our District!   WTF?!  They reluctantly swapped my Ballot at the Polls but I had to demand it and temporarily choose a Party in order to get one!   Which, I don't think is right... every Voter should have a Voice on EVERY Elected Official IMO and if you're not Partisan that shouldn't matter.   You're not Partisan for a reason, becoz you don't Vote along Party lines and Vote for the best Person for the Job.  So I want a Vote for who gets to move forward from the Primaries, it's important to me.

 Since over 60% of Voters now identify as Independents, which is a huge swath of Voters not having that Voice in Arizona Primaries then.  Well, unless you're a Man, it seems!   Since Arizona is a controversial State trying to deny Women our Rights and certain Ethnic demographics too.  There are Alt Right Extremists here who are also trying to suppress Minority Votes and Votes in larger Urban areas where they know they're unpopular and not Winning.   Maricopa County is by far the largest and most influential due to population.  So, in 2020 we had that whole Cyber Ninja Audit Fiasco that cost us Taxpayers Hundreds of Thousands for the false claims of Election Fraud brought by the ReTrumplicans, since, Arizona went Purple and was no longer a Red Stronghold.  So they made up the Lie there was Election Fraud which helped Steal the Election, which even their fake Auditors couldn't verify or prove, no Evidence existed.

They're already circulating those Rumors BEFORE the Election this Year, so you know it's gonna be the same Lies and Conspiracy Theories should they Lose again.   It's deeply baked in with their Corrupted Party now that if they Win it was all Free and Fair, but if they Lose it was Fraudulent, Rigged and Stolen.  *Eye Roll*   Well, ya can't have it both ways but that Fact doesn't seem to matter.   So long as they can incite their followers to Riot and be Weaponized when they Believe any bullshit being rolled out by their Cult and run with it.  Chaos prevails and division is widened further to disrupt any National Unity or mutual cooperation to do what's best for the Country, putting Country over Party, as it should be, but isn't on the Alt Right.   They've convinced their Base that 2/3 of America is their Enemy and not their fellow Countrymen.  Their Base doesn't recognize they're actually Sleeping with the Enemy.

So, is it any wonder many around here are relieved when there's a Welcome Escape via the Holidays and Positive alternatives to the Political turmoil and utter Madness the Corruption and Political Theater our Elections has devolved into since 2016?!   It's been damned near a Decade of Chaos, Turmoil, Division and Madness prevailing over what once was a functional and Sane System.   Yes, not a perfect System, but certainly not one so dangerously Psychotic and detached from Reality as one Major Party has become now.   Literally becoming a deranged Cult with a bunch of Lunatics and Lunatic Fringe Sycophants as their chosen Leaders.   And I used to at least have a semblance of solace that they were not a Majority of Americans buying into that like some Zombie Apocalypse of those Infected by it's utter Madness and delusions. 

 But, a close Race every time now leads me to Believe it's worse than I thought it was percentage wise?  If we're led to Believe Polls are indicators, a high Forty Percentile are afflicted now as at least leaning and Voting that way, a sobering and frightening statistic.   Especially given what's openly being espoused that is beyond Bat Shit Crazy, Violence prone, Hitleresque, and should send up Red Flags to anyone without a deeply impaired thought process and sound judgment, or rational way of Being, that is Balanced and not gone Extreme or off the fucking Rails completely.  You cannot profess to be a True Conservative in the Truest Definition of what that is, and be FOR what that Party now stands for, is filled with and represents.   You can't say you are a Patriot if you're against everything Democracy and our Constitution is, want to overthrow it, and that has made our Nation the Greatest and most Respected by our Allies before all this hijacking took place.

I want for it all to be just over and yet I do have grave Concerns about November and just leading up to it as the Election looms closer... and then directly after it.   Lots of unknowns there and we already know something Wicked this way comes so long as we have some Leadership that is tainted and as corrupted as The Alt Right has clearly become.  Yet, everything they are and do, ironically is revealed by what they accuse the other side of being and doing.  It's a Tell they can't seem to shake or to resist doing pathologically.   Like any Criminal that has a distinctive M.O. that does them in and is so deeply imbedded in their very Nature that they can't shake the doing of it, even if it snares them in it's pathology. 

   I do hold out Hope that as a Collective we are better than this and rise above it to defend what is fragile about our Freedom and our way of Life so that we Win and restore it, choosing Goodness and Unity, doing what is Right for all to live in Peace, Harmony, Equality and the Hope of Prosperity and the American Dream.  Let us not choose an American Nightmare as an alternative.   Becoz frankly, I Honestly Believe that if they Win, most of their Followers will realize that what they Hoped for and Got, was an Illusion and they were Played.  So now they can't undo what they have done and are fully responsible for the unraveling and demise of their Beloved Nation.   They allowed it to Fall from within and it was no Foreign Enemy that conquered them, but the insidious one they got into Bed with and Trusted to everyone's peril.   And if that doesn't yet Scare you, it should.   

And if you choose Apathy or Indifference, or think choosing not to get Involved doesn't make you Complicit, sadly, it does.   This is not one to Sit Out or straddle the Fence on and remain Neutral... becoz it will affect you too, whether you like it or not.   You do have a Voice, so Exercise it or you'll have no one to Blame but yourself for your Silence and lack of Doing Something.   We'll see what America is REALLY made of... and since right now all indicators are that we can't really tell for sure... it will at least be Enlightening and Revealing to everyone else on the Planet.   What we ARE or what we have BECOME.   Listen, I'm already deeply Saddened by what so many have already apparently Become.  I do Hope they have some Redemption, those that were just led astray and aren't hard Core unredeemable.

 I'm really Praying that we show the Best that America is and not the Worst.   And I didn't start out thinking I'd go Political in this Post but it's relevant and at the forefront right now so it just evolved into what it just was and had to be said... again... and again ad nauseum as necessary to make any impact that Counts and Stands For what has made us Good and made us Great.  Not in the MAGA sense of what they hijacked that too to mean and now bash our Nation every chance they get.   It sickens me to hear 45 denigrate and disparage our Nation as if he could have had all of the entitlements he's always had anywhere else on the Planet had he been Born elsewhere and not had abundant privilege and advantages America afforded him.   Someone who was such a Coward he dodged the Draft by pretending to have Bad Feet and then has the gall to mock and trash talk our real Heroes and those who Honorably Served and those who made the ultimate Sacrifice and Died for our Freedoms and had Honor.
