Our Trip to "Sweet Salvage" went well, we were the first ones there but didn't stand in the line that formed coz The Man can't stand long and it was also Cold outside. So we sat in the Truck and ate a McDonalds Breakfast I'd bought until the Doors opened at 10:00 a.m.. Some first time Customers who'd been near the front of the line knew we'd been there before anyone, so let us get in front of them to go in once I got The Man's Walker out of the back of the Truck Bed. I guess Opening Day had been absolutely Bananas so I'm glad I didn't go. We always want to be in Support of our Talented Artisans. I'd Love to Own one of her Pieces when budget permits. She's such a Sweet and Beautiful Lady.
It was busy but not Bananas on Day Two and The Man could handle that tho' he couldn't find anything he wanted. I bought some inexpensive Architectural Salvage Ornate Bronze Hinges, Ornate Door Plates and Antique Doorknobs from our Friend Kim, the Owner of the Venue, and our Friend Big Kenny... the prices were so low I couldn't resist. The Knobs $3, the Doorplates $6, and the Hinges $12. I also got some Agricultural/Military Numbered large Safety Pins, about Two Dozen coz Kenny had them in good sized Lots for $12.
With the Hinges I got Pairs of the ones he had Pairs of, some are way larger sized than others. I got Four Doorknobs, some are rather Plain Porcelain coated or Brass, but some are Ornate Brass, and for Three Bucks each, I got a Selection of what Kim had. Big Kenny had so much Architectural Salvage I may buy more from him later on or work some Trades with him for all of it. The Man isn't all that interested in getting any present for his Birthday, he just wasn't passionate about it since Brittany isn't there anymore with her Hats. We heard she's gotten Married and is having a Baby since we last saw her, a Boy, so we're Happy for her.
My Vendor Friends Cindy and Jeff got more Anna Lee in to their Seasonal Booths. They keep a Year Round Christmas Booth, but did have some Anna Lee for other Holidays like Easter and St. Patrick's Day. All sizes from the tiniest to the largest made. Sales have started pretty Strong for this New Pay Period which is on it's first of Two Weeks. And I got Paid Friday and it was a nice Check for a change. Selling so much of that Parisian Art really helped, I need more high end Customers who appreciate and know the Good Stuff. I have a lot of Quality items I could bring in if the Mall attracted the right Demographic who'd Buy it. I don't mind the Bargain Shoppers who are Impulse Buyers, but it is supposed to be an Antique Mall, not a Bargain Basement Mall or competing with Thrift Chazza Stores who get their items Donated and are a Charity.
My Showroom was messy, but it seems like a lot of Shoppers had been in it, so I just tidied it up before the Weekend. And I'd already Sold over 50 items in just Six Days. Most were Smalls, but some weren't. It was pretty busy when I went in there even tho' it was quite early. I think Tomorrow we may go to "Highland Yard Vintage" coz this time I checked the Times it will be Open. I don't know that The Man will find anything for his Birthday, it tends to most Sell Product that appeals to Female Shoppers, you don't see a lot of Guys there or at "Sweet Salvage". The Man commented on that, he was only One of Four Husbands present in the wait for "Sweet Salvage" to Open their Doors, the rest were Women, mostly Middle Aged or Seniors. There were a lot of Fancy Affluent Ladies there this day, in really Cute Fashionable Ensembles. I want to Be them when I grow up, Rich and still Cute at my Age with a Killer Wardrobe and Shapely Body still, heavily laden with Diamonds and shit like that... so that Money and Care of myself is clearly no Object. *LOL and Winks*
I'm always paying Attention to what Customers are Buying when I go to any Event or other Antique Mall, as well as at ours. I notice the vast majority are gravitating towards the Mass Produced items now. And that's just what's popular right now in certain Genres, right now the Natural Organic Look seems to be preferred in Neutral Tones. Mostly Import items which can be had reasonably priced and aren't made by Local Artisans or even in America. Some of it is attractive, I Like the Aesthetic of it, but I do miss seeing more Unique Product and the better Quality of good Vintage Inventory. Especially since that's what I prefer to be Selling of what I Own. I don't Own a lot of Mass Produced items to Decorate our Home with. Even Utilitarian Items I prefer to be Vintage.
I bought the above 1920's Art Deco/Art Nouveau Bronze and Onyx Ashtray for less than Ten Bucks, they can fetch around $100-$900, depending on the Figure represented. I have a small Collection of them but never gotten one this inexpensively, I couldn't Believe my Good Fortune! I couldn't find this exact Figure, but other Figures of Women with the face being a White Material {not sure what it is made of}, were $800-$900. Most were made in Europe.

I've been on a Vintage Marbles kick. I know, I know, I'm clearly moving thru my 2nd Childhood I guess, but it's bringing me Joy, so, whatever. *LOL* My Talented Designer Friend Cyndie took this Pix of me, I was wearing Two of her Creations I'd Bought at some of the other Events last Year, so she wanted a Pix of me and took one with her Camera too. I'm rarely in front of the Lens, so was Thankful she took one of me there. She also graciously did a quick Repair on Two Necklaces that I'd broken when they got snagged. Easy Fixes but my Arthritis is bad and my Eyesight not so great to tackle doing it myself. One of the Necklaces I'd bought from her, the other I couldn't recall where I'd got it. They are longer ones and sometimes snag on things if you're not Careful. Now they're Fixed I can wear them again.

I took about Forty Pixs while there, it was challenging coz Shoppers often were getting in the way and I don't want to get anyone random in Frame since I'm Sharing Imagery on Social Media. I also don't want to interrupt someone Shopping either and most aren't paying attention to see someone is lining up a Photo to take. So, you have to be Mindful, as the Photographer, not to take the Pix if anyone is in the way. So, that's why I didn't take all that many, it was pretty busy and I'd of had to spend a lot of time waiting for folks not to be in the way of something I wanted to Photograph. And, some folks will linger intentionally if they see you're trying to take a Pix, I don't know Why some people do that, but some obviously do. Sometimes if it's obvious they're being that way, I pretend to take the Pix anyway. *LOL and Winks*

So, I went on the Warpath with my Healthcare Provider AGAIN. Why? Becoz more HUMANA Drama!!! I get a call from Express Scripts Admin folks Yesterday, who provide all of my Meds thru TriCare For Life that is our Veteran's Earned Benefit for Medical/Rx, saying they cannot provide my Meds anymore due to a problem with me having Part D, which I'm ineligible for, due to having TriCare, and I gotta sort that out first!!! WTF?! The Woman at Express Scripts was perhaps the most helpful tho' in explaining what is fucked up and what I needed to say and do to get it put right. I explained I've been fighting with Social Security, Medicare, and HUMANA about this Issue since January 1st when United Healthcare dumped all Veteran Retirees/Medicare Recipients in Maricopa County... to no avail.

Everyone kept blaming the other Agencies and saying they weren't the ones fucking up. I've been penalized Monthly and would FOR LIFE due to the fuck up someone had made, had sent in Four Sets of complex Paperwork to verify I've always had Rx Coverage thru TriCare, am ineligible for Medicare Part D due to already being on a Federal Program, and made numerous Phone Calls to everyone from every Agency involved, in vain, coz clearly now it's still fucked up and now I got Express Scripts too that I'm having to fight over this!!! Social Security said it wasn't their fault, Medicare said it wasn't their fault, TriCare said it wasn't their fault, and HUMANA had said it wasn't their fault... but, clearly somebody fucked up somewhere coz we got this Problem and I demand a Solution to it!!! Coz now I'm being denied all my Medications!!! That could be Life Threatening!!!

The Express Scripts Woman told me it looks to her like HUMANA was the culprit and had put me on one of their Programs Plans that a Veterans Family shouldn't be on coz it has Part D, which, I'm ineligible for, or it risks me losing my TriCare Federal Earned Benefits, you can't have both. I know this, everyone had been informed of this when I Signed Up!!! So, I calls HUMANA and gets a Guy who agrees with that assessment, said, yep, you somehow got accidentally put on a Plan you shouldn't even be on, and we have until March 31st, by Law, past the Open Enrollment Date of December 7th of last Year, to correct said Mistake coz it's a valid "Exception" to switch you to what Plan you SHOULD be on and should have been Offered in the first place!

So, he and a Lady from their Enrollment switched me over and effective March 1st this should now all be remedied!? They will send hard copy Letters to both myself and Express Scripts verifying it and I'll then send copies to whoever else needs them to quit Penalizing me. *Whew* Fucking A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you know what really irks me most? That each Person at every Agency I talked to was astounded that I knew more about the Laws they're Governed by than their own People do!!! And that is outrageous to me, I shouldn't be having to tell any of these people how to do their Jobs, what Laws govern the Work they're doing, what's in Violation and a Federal Offense, what they're not doing Right, etcetera, or how to Fix it!!!!!

Now, I'm a "Fixer", it's what I did in both of my Corporate Lives. But, I've never Worked for Social Security, TriCare, Express Scripts, Medicare, United Healthcare or HUMANA... yet it's been a recurring thing for ME to School them on how to properly do what they're doing for me and being Responsible for Fixing what they did Wrong!!! I'd thought all along that I somehow had Part D and had questioned that from The Jump, coz it's actually not Legal for me to have both and I know that. I didn't fraudulently sign myself up for a Plan or Benefit I shouldn't have and they SHOULD know better than to! I'm not a Plan Administrator but I kept Questioning, am I even on the Right Plan for a Veteran's Spouse? I was initially told Yes, I was... 'til now... and they realized, ooops, So Sorry, you ARE on the Wrong Plan WE Enrolled you in!!!

They advise Clients when you Enroll in any Medicare Advantage Plan, which is supposed to be the Best one for you, your circumstances, Health, etcetera. The Client shouldn't have to know the Federal Laws by Heart in case their Provider doesn't know them, Right? And just Hope you get someone Working for them that does know what they're doing and what the Laws are, requirements are, eligibility is, so on and so forth, coz IT'S THEIR JOB TO. I must have spent Two Hours getting that straightened out and raising my Blood Pressure in the process. Usually I stay steely Calm, and did with the Living People, I only lose by shit with the Bots you have to speak to first all of the time now, becoz the only way you get transferred to a Human and actually may get Help is to ditch their Bots first and that takes an Angry Voice and Profanity every time! *Eye Roll*

Yes, the HUMANA Bot was persistent until Dark Dawn took the Phone from Dawn Of The Light, and then transferred me to their Humans pronto! *Bwahahahahaha* Then I went back to Calm Dawn Of the Light to talk to said Humans about my Problem. One that I was insisting must have a Solution now coz I was out of Patience completely dicking around with this since January 1st. And now knowing I only had 'til March 31st Deadline to get it resolved, amplified the Urgency, Thankfully I had that little tidbit of Secret Information most Medicare Recipients don't know about, divulged to me. And now I'm Sharing with you all. Interesting how all of this Secretive Information about Policy and Deadlines is handily withheld from the Public who relies on these Programs. It's the same with all Federal Programs, they don't Volunteer this important information, you have to find out by Accident or sheer Luck... it's kept so Secretive!

I always try to get at least one "Friend On The Inside" who will tell me as many of the Secrets as they're willing to divulge, and store it in my Mental Databanks for Future Reference. So, anyway, if your Plan isn't working out that you Enrolled in before the December 7th Deadline, you actually have 'til March 31st, if you have an "Exception" that Qualified, to change it and get another Plan Assigned to you. Who knew? Mine was a legitimate "Exception" coz it was the Provider who fucked up and assigned me the Wrong Plan I was Ineligible for and thus was considered Fraudulent coz of having Two Federal Prescription Plans for the Client. Last thing I needed was Federal Fraud accusations due to some Plan Administrator fucking up coz they didn't do their Job right!!! I had told you that my concern was IF Part D WAS paying for anything, they'd realize eventually they shouldn't have and ask for the Money back.

I'm wondering now if what The Son is Dealing with is an Ineligibility Status that got overlooked, corrected, and now they're penalizing him for becoz someone Qualified him as Eligible for something he should never have gotten a Subsidy for? And now they turned over to the IRS to Collect from him? That's what I highly suspect happened, another Administrative Federal Fuckup happened. Coz this Administration has Hired so many Unqualified folks and Nepo Hires, Fired so many Qualified Experienced folks, that the whole System is near collapse now for incompetence, reckless and irresponsible handling of all of it. Something can only hold up so long with gross negligence or mismanagement before it implodes and collapses in on itself, then it's a House of Cards falling in rapid succession.

At least the Supreme Court got it Right this time with overturning the illegality of the Tariffs. Spray Tan Donnie is having his usual tantrum and making grossly irresponsible reckless serious accusations from the Bully Pulpit, that could get people hurt, as expected when fealty to him by those he stacked the Court with go against him, like Two Justices did, to uphold the Rule of Law. The Three he has deep in his Pocket dissented, but we know the accusations against them being crooked is solid and evidenced, they should have been removed from the Bench over it and never allowed to practice Law again IMO. They're on The Take and it's been proven with Thomas, Kavanaugh and Alito taking Gifts and Bribes for Special Rulings in Favor of Political Donors, this President and Conflict of Interest Cases they should be recused from Ruling on. They're dirty Judges and it's come to Light what they've accepted for Quid Pro Quo.

Now, how to refund who they've ripped off is a whole other Nightmare Legally of complex issues, and, I don't think it will happen. Businesses and the American People are due repayment of what was illegally taken from them with the implementation of these Illegal Tariffs they were extorted and had to Pay for. It's a LOT of Money, about $160 BILLION conservatively has Illegally, or been Legally Challenged, and Collected to Date. It's been contested since it began... and he's trying to now levy a flat 10% on the World in Tariffs in spite of the Ruling, coz the Law means nothing to this Corrupt Career Criminal President, who considers himself Above the Law. I personally am rooting for him to Go Down as the Pedophile that he is, if America is ever gonna actually make him Accountable for a pick of his many Serious Crimes he's committed and put him behind Bars. Pedos don't do particularly Well in Prison, even the most hardened Criminals don't Rape and otherwise sanction those who Molest/Victimize/Traffick Children.

Even South Korea... SOUTH KOREA... imprisoned their Ex-President for his Crimes so Justice was Served. Great Britain is Prosecuting one of the Royal Family for his Crimes, first time in about 400 Years, but, as it should be. Yet here's America, displaying to the Whole World, openly, that the Rule of Law now means nothing here apparently and no Crime is Serious enough to ensure Justice is Served to protect the American People. How fucking Rich, Embarrassing and Shameful is that? Yet, we're still presuming to tell other Countries how to Act towards their People, like Iran for example. Yes, their Regime is atrociously awful, and should be overturned and replaced, but is no less Corrupt than our own right now, no less against Human Rights than this Regime is displaying openly right now.

And replaced with What? And that's the existential Question, isn't it, replaced with What that would Serve and Protect the People of both Countries better? We're ALL deserving of it, all of Humanity is. And that means ALL of us, not just some select few deemed worthy by Bad Religion, Bad Policy, Bad Leadership, and Biased and Hateful Humans who try to elevate themselves above other Human Beings as somehow being more worthy over superficial flawed Beliefs and Personal Prejudices. My Hope being that one day Society as a Collective won't be so Superficial and Hateful and will become more Enlightened, Evolved and filled with Love towards all Sentient Beings instead. Just think and Imagine what that World would Look and Be like for our Future Generations to Inherit instead!!!
