Will Aroma Therapy Help? When Everything Is Going to Shit?

 

With being Sidelined with this Stomach Virus I am now one Scheduled Post ahead and starting on this one, whoop whoop!  If I lost some Weight with not being able to eat and having no appetite during the Holidays from it, and clearing out my innards completely, then it won't have been all bad.  *Winks*  I'm listening to "Classic Christmas" Music on MC {Music Choice} Cable Music Station, they added so many new Choices of genres of Music now, some are rather humorously Named.

  They even have a "Sleep Music" Station option now, which I tried for a while as I Napped to promote Healing.  I didn't think it was "Sleep" inducing Music, to be honest.  My "Soundscapes" Music Choice is more relaxing IMO for dozing off to.  But, now there are more "Christmas and Holiday" Music Station options, I like this Class one best.  I don't like many of the Modern Artist Christmas Songs being sung, and some of the remakes are horrible and atrocious, wrecking the Beloved original versions.  

Madonna's rendition of "Santa Baby" is a hack compared to Eartha Kitt's original fav Classic of it, which I Love hearing.  Madonna doesn't sound Sexy, she's Baby Talking thru it, HATE when a Grown Woman does that!  Of coarse I'm a big Eartha Kitt Fan and only a few of Madonna's Songs I can say I actually liked.  Eartha being Classy and Sexy, while Madonna mostly being Trashy and trying too hard to be a Sex Symbol, while not Aging Gracefully, by comparison.  I follow Kitt Shapiro, Eartha's Daughter, on her Social Media Page, and the Book she Wrote Honoring her Mom was delightful.

Princess T and Rusty did make it to the "Santa House" when they went back to see "Glendale Glitters" a 2nd time and properly.  But she said it made her Sad for him.  Coz she's very observant and she noticed he'd closed off that one Bedroom that used to have the Extraterrestrial Decor Theme and that his Bedroom was Decorated, but had a lot of Medical Equipment visible in it, as if his Health has become a real Struggle?  I'd noticed it too, but he's Older now, that happens, and I didn't say anything to her about that.  But she said she's not sure how much longer he'll be able to do it, she felt mebbe this might be the last time?  It made her Sad to see he's likely having significant Health Issues, she noticed some of the same Medical Equipment her Grandpa now requires.

I remember the last Year I went to the Elderly Identical Twins Bob Rix and Bern Rix's Homes that did Extreme Christmas Decorating for over 36 Years too.  Bern had announced he wouldn't be doing it anymore and Retiring from it, he was Old but looked still pretty healthy when he stopped and he had a much bigger Home.  But Bob tried to do it longer to the point it was obvious he couldn't even take Care of the Home being Maintained anymore and perhaps not even himself, he was Single, his Twin was not.  It was a Historic Home and had sustained significant Hail Damage to the Roof, and Bob was in very rough shape.  It had the odor of a Nursing Home Advanced Care Unit.  Sadly, the Historic Tudor Home has since been razed.  I remember how Sad I felt for Bob, and I know Princess T now feels the same about the Dear Man, David, who does the "Santa House" out of his Residence for the last 35 Years. 

  

He'd been profiled in The New York Times for "Christmas In America: Over The Top, Close To The Heart" for extreme Holiday Decorating.  I used to think his Partner had Died of Illness, but now I'm not entirely sure?   They may have just parted ways, as there's a 78 Year Old Man of the same Name still Living and in a Retirement Community, perhaps even a Nursing Home?  I'd like to think it's the same fellow, both of them being such nice Guys and so giving towards their Community during the Holidays for such a long time now.  But the Partner had become unwell quite some time ago and it showed.  He looked like he was Dying and so when he disappeared from the annual Display and Home, we thought he had Passed from Illness?   I didn't know them well enuf to ask what happened to Gene?  When it's none of your business, you don't ask.

The Son is having a very hard time being Unemployed, especially at the Holidays and everyone being financially challenged.  I know he has $1.99 in his Bank Account and no Job Prospects.  His Sister is getting more little Side Jobs than he has and so he's feeling like a loser, even tho' he's always been a very hard Worker and an asset to every Employer he's ever had.  I don't think any Man likes to be out of Work or living with their Parents, being unemployed just makes living with your Parents even more humiliating, especially in Middle Age.  He thinks he should have Owned a Home by now, had a nice Vehicle, a Secured Retirement, perhaps even a Family... and he has none of that, so he's really struggling this Christmas Season Emotionally.  He said he's not looking forward to Christmas at all, it will just be another fucking day.  That is Dark, I had no Words really.

So many of his Generation and The Adult Grandkid's Generation are feeling cheated out of The American Dream.  Most can't afford Rent, let alone to Buy a Home before Age 40... if ever.  Many are losing Jobs and Careers they've Worked for Years and have good Job Performance, Reviews, and lots of Experience doing, it doesn't matter.  The Niece feels the same, she's a Computer Programmer and has been Unemployed since August, had to move to Oklahoma coz it's way Cheaper than Massachusetts or Arizona, she HATES it there.  She's now having to move in with her Dad in Texas, since, Unemployment is running out and didn't pay or cover the Bills/Rent anyway.  If she didn't Win at Poker at the Casinos, coz she is an excellent Poker Player, she couldn't have sustained herself this long without a Job.

She and another Couple tried a Start Up Online Business, but, it didn't take off.  She developed the Line and the Program, her Friends were the Financiers, but, Sales are just stagnant and most long time Businesses are struggling, let alone new Start Ups.   They attracted some Investors, but she said it's clearly not gonna be sustainable and flopped.  I'd had my reservations about it, from a Business perspective.  But didn't wanna discourage her that it might be quite a Leap of Faith to expect to develop a Client Base during these tough Economic times for a Business nobody really knows about, even if the Product is Quality.  Quality hardly matters to most Americans now more than Price, especially Clothing or Accessory Lines, if it's Cheap, they can usually get it from competitors like Amazon and Shein cheaper than any Small Business.  

But, Small Businesses are trying to hang on in this shitty Economy worsened by Poor Leadership who aren't Economists and don't Listen to them either, since they assume they know everything, more than the Experts.  After all, he, The Draft Dodger, presumes to know more than ALL the esteemed Military's Generals and Admirals, just ask him, he'll tell us.  *Eye Roll*   He's presently on an Illegal Murderous Rampage showing he can just blow things and people up, and seems to Delight in doing so, like it's a fucking demented Video Game he and his Cabal are Playing out, with actual Civilian Human Beings Lives being taken, that we're NOT at War with, and by all accounts, weren't even heading for the United States, over 100 now and Counting!!!  He's a Sick and Twisted piece of Work... as are his Sycophants.  And we can now add Serial Killer to his litany of Serious Crimes he's Guilty of.

Oh, and now Hijacking International Oil Tankers too, he will get us into a protracted War, this "Peacetime President" who said he'd End all Wars on Day One and Jones' so Bad and is so Thirsty for the Nobel Peace Prize.  It's all he talks about and if he can't have it... well, he'll just blow things up, Illegally Murdering Civilians he "assumes" are doing something Illegal, and provoke Wars I guess.   I'm SO Glad none of my Relatives are presently Serving in our Military, never been more relieved they're all now Retired from Service to Country, coz this is gonna be one big Cluster Fuck they'll have to be Dealing with under this Administration's Illegal Orders, at Home and Abroad.   And he's said he'll Oust any Military that won't do his Illegal Bidding, their Careers will be at Stake if they don't comply with his War Crimes and Murderous Rampage I guess.

Under whacko Hegseth and Donnie Two Dolls, a significant number of Senior High Ranking Military Leaders have been removed.  Last Count, at least Two Dozen Generals and Admirals Fired or Sidelined... some just becoz of their Color or Gender... nothing to do with performance or experience and a Lifetime of Honorable Service to Country.   So his Purge is already in Process and we should be very concerned about that.  He is significantly weakening our ability to Defend America and has been Putin's Puppet for quite some time, along with being in Bed with many Bad Actors Internationally.  "South Park's" skit with him in Bed with Satan wasn't far off being accurate.  Tho' I don't know that Satan would crawl under him actually?  I mean, Satan looks annoyed and disappointed as the rest of us... No?  *Winks*

 

And, did the Creators REALLY Issue an Apology, since I have heard they've Created even better disparaging Episodes, so... I find it particularly hilarious myself that they're goading him and his Ego with these Cartoons mocking him.   I think any feigned 'apologies' were likely dripping with Sarcasm, after they received their $1.5 BILLION Dollar Deal.  *LMAOROTF*  Whose Zooming Who?  *Bwahahahaha*  I don't even usually watch "South Park", but I do for these Episodes and their Ratings go way up when they air them.   I do sometimes wonder if he has some STD that's making him this unnaturally Crazy and deranged?  And that's what he's being Treated for that is so Secretive, yet obvious something Medical is definitely going on with him on a regular basis and being Covered Up.  

  

So, it's definitely something they're hiding and don't wanna disclose.  And that Manic rushed Speech, just, Wow!  I've seen and experienced many Episodes of Mania, that one was really alarming and frantic, like a total Panic Meltdown on National TV.  I think he crammed a Half Hour Speech into about 18 Minutes of very bizarre Behavior that made no sense to Address the State of the Nation.  Since, it contained no major announcements and was just Weirder than he usually even is, totally Delusional and out of Touch with Reality, which is consistent with him tho', he definitely is Living in his Alternate Reality he Created full time now.  Which isn't the Reality of most of Americans, so how much Crazier does it have to be to get rid of him?  He's completely Around the Bend.  And acting like this is remotely Normal for anyone, let alone a World Leader, is absolutely absurd.

Anyway, nobody is doing anything about it, so we're stuck with it I guess until he just drops Dead or goes completely Insane, I'd say he's about there on the latter.   Any Hangers On are just sounding and looking as Crazy as he is.   I'm just glad we're having to deal with less and less of them now... even most of the MAGA Hawkers have pulled their Merch now or are trying hard to give it away, with little to no success.  I've seen a lot of it Donated to Chazzas and The Granddaughter said her Store doesn't even put it out, they just throw it out.  Well, it does belong in Dumpsters and Landfills, that's the appropriate place for it to end up.  Along with all the other tacky worthless shit he hawked to his Cult Devoted and for a time most of them proudly wore or displayed.  Not so popular now, so, the majority are ridding themselves of it quickly and quietly, hopeful nobody remembers they Voted In and boarded The Crazy Train and Supported all of this disaster they ARE responsible for.

The lamentations of the Devoted who are now screwed and whose lives have been ruined by his decisions, aren't receiving any pity.  They got exactly what they Voted for... so they aren't Innocent Victims like those who were Wise enuf not to be complicit.   I don't feel Sorry for a single MAGA suffering the consequences of what they brought upon themselves, not an ounce of Pity.  I resent they brought it upon the rest of us tho' and are responsible.  They can't evade that fact and must Own whatever happens to America becoz of it.  It just Angers me and usually I don't give Two shits about someone's Politics or their Religious preferences either, unless it causes Harm... and this has.  And probably will now for Generations to come, and could have been easily avoided, after all, they had 1.0 to know that 2.0 would be worse and absolutely disastrous to the Country. 

I'm just trying to keep me and mine afloat thru all of the Fuckery.  That's really how it's gonna play out Family to Family now I suspect?   How to sustain ourselves during these uncertain times is going to be on everyone's Minds and talked about around everyone's Kitchen Tables as things unravel further and further in a Bad Direction.  I and my Family are trying to Work our Hustles when the ends just aren't meeting anymore due to circumstances beyond all our Control and the Economy in shambles and worsening with whatever else in the way of Fuckery they Dream Up Daily.  I rarely watch The News now as all I can think of immediately is, Oh Fuck, what did he do NOW?  Or what deranged Follower of any of the Insanity of Extremist Ideology did something extreme and heinous again now?  Victims keep piling up... nothing Positive is changing any of it.

Even as I was busy distracting myself by Photographing Soap in Cute Holiday Themed Packaging at "World Market" like a Real One {ie: Consummate Weirdo LOL}, I was contemplating how Marketing matters.  Even if it's the Packaging that Grabs ya, the Company making it has to Stand Out some kinda way to make you take notice, mebbe even pick it up or Photograph it for Free Advertisement on Social Media *Winks and LOL*, or hopefully Buy it.   Well, I wasn't gonna pull the Trigger on a Seven Dollar Bar of Soap no matter how Cute and Creative the Packaging... but, I did appreciate the Marketing Strategy behind it, for Gift Giving, it was already 'Wrapped' appropriately to just give, Right?  *LOL*  Now, unless you dig Fancy Soaps and Lotions or Potions like Yours Truly, you might be Offended to receive a Bar of Soap as a Gift tho'?  What might that imply?  And do I really wanna Smell like a Sticky Gingersnap? *Bwahahaha*

Or some Fresh Snow?  Which, it's been a long time, but, I don't recall having a particular Smell???   I just knew not to eat the Yellow Snow as a Child, long before Frank Zappa told us not to.  *Bwahahahaha*

But, Wood Sage & Sea Salt did intrigue me and I did give this Bar a whiff.  *Smiles*  Tho' Fresh Balsam and Cedar, Below, not so much do I really want to Smell like a Christmas Tree.  I like the Scent of them, just not ON my Person... or any other Person for that matter.  *LOL*  It's like I don't want you to put Pumpkin Spice in my Foods as a Flavor Profile just because it's Autumn and all the other Yuppie White Girls for some reason always seem to order it and go Gaga over it, I know not Why?  Not a Fan, just keep Pumpkin and Spice in my Pies, Thank You.  Not in my Coffee or Latte, my Scented Body Products, or even my Candles.

I confess I did Buy some Close-Out of "Starbucks" Coffee K-Cups of Pumpkin Spice Flavor after Season, coz they were so Cheap per Box, why not?  I tried one the other Night, even putting mini Marshmallows in it so as to entice me to perhaps Like it... I did not.  It wasn't horrible, and I can offer it to Guests and The Family as a Flavor Option, but there's 22 per Box, it may take a Minute to unload those now on the Pumpkin Spice Lovin' Crowd, and I don't know me many Anglo Yuppies to invite over for a Cup.  I've offered it to our Non-White Friends and they're like, No Thanks.   So, the ongoing Joke about it being a Stereotypical White Girl preference come Fall, has some merit to it I think, that's the Targeted Demographic, I highly suspect?!   Even tho' the 'Starbucks' Ad ironically has all Women of Color/and Ethnicity in it, claiming it's the Fall Flavors we Love!!!  *Bwahaha*

It's NOT convincing us to join the Yuppie White Gals in Lovin' it.  But I HAD to crib this Ad so you know I'm not making this shit up for a Laugh or hyperbole.   Tho', it is Laughable and my Family thinks so, as do our Friends who are not Yuppie White Gals.  And unanimously HATE Pumpkin Spice anything as much as Yours Truly does.  *LMAOROTF*  The One Box of it is all 'Starbucks' could tempt me to even try at less than Half Price on Close-Out for Limited Edition Flavors.  *Winks*  Now, I DO Love their Lavender Limited Edition and drink that Hot or Cold.  The Family leave it alone coz they aren't crazy about that Flavor Profile, but I am.  It was a Spring Limited Edition and I Hope they bring it back next Spring if it succeeded with us Lavender Lovers???  At Gourmet Yuppie Breakfast spots like "Snooze" they do offer it on their Menu.

I'm the Weirdo that also Loves Floral Flavored Yogurts too in Rose, Lavender, Orange Blossom Honey, Jasmine, Hibiscus Raspberry... La Fermiere being my favorite Brand and they have Packaging Pots that are Terra Cotta Clay Glazed Keepers and I Buy Wooden Lids with burnt on Designs for.  On Special Holidays they Color the Pots differently.  I've rarely been able to find the Lavender Flavor Locally and Online Suppliers of it charge a fortune for Delivery and you're lucky if you can Order Two, they have very little in Stock, so it's certainly not worth the exorbitant Delivery Fee charged to procure Two fucking Yogurts.

But, back to Holiday Soaps in Cute Packaging and not so enticing Smells... Winter Red Berries, anyone?  Yeah, didn't think so... and what Red Winter Berry might that even Smell like that we'd wanna Smell like it?
