May Another Long Time Dear Friend RIP

 I got only Three items Priced to take in to work, I had a 4th I'd looked all over for, an Anime Plush I intended to Sell, that The Young Prince had Spirited Away to his Room, I shouldda suspected.  *LOL*  I don't mind, I always give them 1st Option to Keep any Anime Merch I Score coz it is popular and coveted, by them too, they've Collected it since before it became Mainstream Popular in America.  The Son has Collected it since the "Dragonball Z" Era {1989-1996} when only a scant few Specialty Comic Book Stores even carried Japanese Anime Merch.  Then The G-Kid Force really got into Anime and it is madly Popular now.  This was some kind of Plush Orange Anime Rhino called Raiku somethine-or-other MochiOshi.  I could have Sold it for around Twenty Bucks, but would rather give it to him if he's Crazy about it.  {See it Below}

Of coarse when The Young Prince was a Tween and Teen, he used to attend Cosplay Events with a bunch of Hot Gals Older than him who Dressed like the Anime Figures below.  Yeah, if I hadn't of known he was Fabulously Gay I'd of thought he had a Pimp's Stable of some of the Hawwwtest Females in our Community.  *LMAO*   He'd be up in his Room doing their Hair and Makeup, along with helping them with their Costumes for Comicon.  That's when I realized a lot of the Gay Boys and Men keep Beautiful Girls and Women like that around looking Sexy all the time and like Naughty Gals, to attract... GUYS!  *Duhhh... Bwahaha, how Naive was Gramma Dawn?  LOL*  They got a LOT of attention when they'd come streaming out of our Vehicle when I dropped them off and picked them all up.  *Winks*

When I went in to Work for my Friend Gordon Saturday Night I got a shock that our Dear Retired Co-Worker Friend Randall, one of the original Employees when the Mall first Opened, had Passed away the day before!  We all Loved Randall, such a great Guy, always made everyone Laugh, I took the Pix of him wearing the Tiara.  He'd had to retire some Years ago due to failing Health and his Sister had to come to Arizona several times to help look after him.  So, he'd had a prolonged illness and some very close calls, even when working with us.  He once Died in his Car after Work and was brought back!!!  But he always kept a Wicked sense of Humor even when he wasn't Well and was Beloved by all and will be missed by everyone who knew him and kept in Touch with him even after Retirement.  So, may another long time Dear Friend RIP.  I have many Happy Memories of knowing and working with Randall.

It was very busy and we had some that were Slacking, so a lot of Cases were going to Last Call and I had to complain to our Night Manager about it, since some Customers were getting upset to wait so long.  This is why I don't want to take on a regular Shift anymore, it's too much of a hassle sometimes to deal with some who want a Shift, but who don't have the best Work ethic or provide good Customer Service while they're working a Shift.  It means anyone working with them has to pick up their slack.   If you're gonna take the Shifts, just do the Work, it's not a Big Ask.  Don't have the expectation that what you're avoiding doing, a Co-Worker will just do for you.  I don't really know how many ever had Careers or what their Work Ethic was if they did?  But, even when I did Volunteer Work I did it with the same Work Ethic I always have had at Top Paying Careers, even tho' there was no monetary compensation.   Some folks are nice to know, but not great to work with.

   I saw a LOT of Move Outs this Day, so empty Booths and Cases, a lot of New Antique Malls are opening up and I think we're losing Vendors to them.  I do plan to visit all the New Antique Malls to see whatssup with them.  None are closer to where I live and Rents are pretty much the same at all of them.   My Regulars know where I am right now and I've been there since the Mall Opened in March of 2012.   So it's rather like a Second Home and I know so many people there, Co-Workers, Vendors and Customers.  I made the First Sale, to another Vendor, who later became a Friend and had been a Blog Follower before ever meeting me in Person!!!  Small World.  So, I don't think I'd wanna make a Move to another Location.  It would not only be a lot of Work, but, I don't know Management or the Client Base at New Locations, or the Reputation they may have as a Company.  Too many unknowns is potential risk.

  Princess T and I have a good Location of Showroom and Locked Case where we are and I can Work as many Shifts to Comp Rent as I want to really, they offer me Shifts all of the time.   I often have to decline how often they've asked me to Work.  So I do have a good rapport with everyone at our Location and even long time Friends at our other Location.  I think the Industry is suffering everywhere right now, and many other long time popular Businesses.  After 17 Years one of our favorite Cajun Restaurants "Flavors Of Louisiana" just Closed and I only found out Tonight too!!!   I hadn't been there since the end of last Year coz I haven't been eating out as much, due to the Economy making everything more expensive everywhere, it strains the budget for anything non-essential.   I guess they Closed right around Christmas of 2025.  This Administration is Tanking the Economy in less than a Year.

And we've got this Crazy Demented Draft Dodging President declaring War on Iran without Congressional Approval, so, it's an Illegal War, just like all his other Illegal Acts since he's been President and ignored the Constitution and the Rule of Law completely.   Since he showed himself to be a Coward as a Young Man, he's trying to prove he's a Tough Guy as an Old Man and pretend he's a Bad Ass, by starting Wars and Killing People now that he has no risk of fighting them.   Our Congress is acting Impotent tho', instead of removing him and assuming the Authority they have and we expect of them as our Elected Officials who should be doing their fucking job and aren't.   We need to get rid of all of these Republican Congressmen who are Kissing his Ass and relinquishing their Responsibilities to the American People.  I do Wonder how many are being Bought and Paid for to DO Nothing?

 I don't think even the most out of Touch Americans want to start or support WWIII, you'd have to be Insane to think that's a good Idea at any level.   But we have an almost 80 Year Old Draft Dodger who wouldn't fight in the War, now sending our Troops illegally to fight one he started at 3:00 in the Morning and only announced on Social Media.  Not in his State of the Union Address, which would have been the best time to tell the American People you're starting a War!!!   And not with the Authority of Congress declaring this War, which is Illegal and a War Crime actually, what he's doing.   And it won't be his Family or Billionaire Buddies and Mega Donors being sent to fight it and Die either.  We almost can't go to Sleep anymore without worrying about waking up in the Morning and seeing what he's done NOW while we were all Asleep and unawares?! 

I'm up at 3:00 in the Morning again coz The Man is up and saying he doesn't Feel Good.  *Huge Sigh*  He's been acting up ever since I took both Grandkids to an Urgent Care coz it took the focus off of him, so I don't know if he's doing this for the Attention, or actually not doing Well?  I really don't wanna spend another whole Day in an ER or Urgent Care and I pretty much know that if he presents at one, they're just putting him immediately in the Hospital even if they can't find anything actually wrong, as a precaution, coz, he's Old and not got a good History of Medical Issues that could potentially be serious... or... NOT... and it's hard to tell by how he's acting most of the time now, whether it's a Medical Emergency or him exaggerating stuff for Attention???  Tough Call either way.  I've had him Hospitalized for Days before and they couldn't find anything serious going on and had to just send him back Home.

I don't wanna run up Medical Debt that Insurances begin balking on paying coz it turns out to be false alarms, bunches of Tests run that show nothing conclusive or serious.   Yet, I also don't wanna not take him in IF it is something going on and serious, but, you really can't discern any of it and it's wrecking my Health to worry about him all the time and half the time it's false alarms and he's just saying stuff like, I don't know if I'm okay, my Arm "Feels Funny".  Well, whaddya mean your Arm feels "Funny", what exactly is happening that is cause for concern?  Are you also having any Chest Pain?  Is your Arm just having some Diabetic Neuropathy, coz I have that too in extremities, it happens with Diabetes.   Some Days your Arms, Hands, Legs and Feet feel okay, some Days they don't, it's a progression of the Disease.  They really can't do much about it.

So, I'm monitoring him to see if he knocks it off, which, sometimes if it's a bid for just Attention, he'll forget what he told you about what he said and then act like nothing at all is Wrong.  *Le Sigh*  Dementia along with wanting the Attention being Sick gives some Old folks is a real challenge, I went thru it with my Mom for YEARS, so I know the Drill.  She had legit Sicknesses, but often overplayed them for Attention, Sympathy, how much extra Attention she got while Hospitalized, and it becomes habitual and often not necessary.  So, when they do have that REAL Emergency, nobody is taking them as Seriously coz they Cried Wolf so many times when it was just nothing but a bid for Attention they weren't getting and wanted.

I'm still Processing the News of the Death of my long time Friend and Dear Co-Worker, and I have noticed that anytime someone our Age Dies, The Man suddenly acts like he's Dying.   He overheard me telling the Grandson that Randall had Passed, coz my Grandkids knew and Loved Randall, knowing him most of their Childhood.  And then, sure enuf, The Man began acting like he wasn't Feeling well suddenly when he heard that.  I asked the Kiddos if he'd acted so Sick all Night while I was at Work, they said he hadn't, just when I got Home.  So, it's Suspect and I've made him finally come in and go to Bed and quit making everyone stay up watching him to ensure he's not actually having an Emergency we Need to dial 911 for???!!!  Coz we will, but I don't want for it to be for nothing, that's for damned sure.  So, after hearing that he went to Bed and said he felt 'Better'.  *Huge Eye Roll and Sighs*  All the Attention on the Grandkids being Sicker, got him Jealous I think?

Next Morning, a Brand New Day AND a Brand New Month!!!  Weeping may endure for the Night, but Joy cometh in the Morning!  *Whew*  The Man slept like a Baby after his Man Drama subsided and he completely forgot about his "Funny" feeling Arm... or whatever he was talking about, you just never know?  *LOL and Le Sigh*  He actually fell Asleep immediately after I just put him to Bed and said to quit being overly Dramatic coz I was too Tired if it wasn't actually something that required a 911 Call.   He definitely didn't want me calling an Ambulance or the Fire Dept. or hauling his Ass Downtown to the VA ER, which is what I also threatened.  Coz then, if he's laying it on thick for Attention, that Stops that Nonsense right away, he does not Like the VA Hospital as a Solution I'm considering.  *Winks*  I knew they'd Hospitalize him if I took him in anyway, to err on the side of Caution.

Anyway, he's Fine.  Well, as Fine as an Old Man with Disability and various Comorbidities can be anyway.  We're not expecting a Miraculous Healing at this juncture, just for things to remain relatively stabilized and not make unnecessary trips to Emergency Rooms to the point they quit taking him Seriously if it's considerable False Alarms.   So, there's no trouble right now in Paradise with him anyway.  The G-Kid Force seem to be responding well to their Treatments to get rid of their Health scares too, the Young bounce back pretty rapidly when given good Medical Treatment and are responsive to it favorably.  The Daughter only showed up at the Hospital and hasn't really been here at the House since we kicked the Boyfriend off our Property permanently.  Whatever.  I still have to get an extra set of Keys made for the 5th Wheel.  Just so I have access, no need to go inside right now, nobody is in there and it's secure.

The Son was upset coz he and Rob did that Job for Rob's Friends in Tonopah to help them get moved, which took several Days of hard Work.  They only fed them Twice, didn't pay them anything, Rob had spent Eighty Bucks just on Gas to get his Truck back and forth between where they moved from, which was condemned and gonna be razed, to where they moved to.  And then, when The Son got his Tool Bag back, which Rob had accidentally left behind, turns out his new Drill is missing and the people likely took it!!!   Who the fuck does that after someone spent Days helping them, The Son didn't even know these people and said they lived nasty so he suspected they could be Addicts.  Which would explain a Theft of something new they could Pawn.  He told Rob he expects him to make it right coz he doesn't know these folks and they are people Rob knew and was helping and asked The Son if he'd assist him.  It wasn't a one person job.

The Son didn't expect to make a lot of Money helping a Friend of a Friend out, but he said if they could have given them just some Cash for the Work, and NOT Stolen from him, he would have been Okay with helping.  Now he's just Mad and Rob knows it and is trying to smooth things over with us coz he's the one that solicited The Son to do the Job with him and had initially said it would Pay something.  I think they stiffed Rob too, so these are 'Friends' he doesn't need either, and he may have to replace The Son's Drill to make it Right with us.  I told him that sounded like a Tweaker Move on the part of this Family, so, he'd do well to cut them loose or kick their Ass for stealing Tools from the Guy he got to Help him out helping them out.  The Son wanted to go down to where ever they are now and demand his Drill or fuck somebody up.  I told him to let Rob handle this, and report the Tools Stolen if he doesn't get the Drill back and put some Heat on this Family... they have Kids.

Even living nasty someone should call CPS on their Asses so The Son could make that Anonymous Welfare Check Call too.  So they shouldn't be too smug they got away with a Drill Theft, not worth the Trouble they will have as retribution.  Lots of people live Nasty and Dirty tho', it's atrocious how many folks choose to Be.  He wasn't Surprised the Property was torn down and the Lot leveled after they moved out, he said it was in Condemned Condition in his Opinion and that Children or Animals shouldn't even be living in those Conditions.   But when he's getting a Job he said you see a lot of stuff, even in the Trades, sometimes, when you go to people's Houses, regardless of Socioeconomics or Demographics, you never know what goes on behind Closed Doors 'til you are inside those Doors.  And he just learned to do his Job and not ask Questions or pass Judgment on whatever folks are doing with their lives. 

He hasn't felt too Well and I warned him not to Sell too much Plasma too often, I think sometimes those places are excessive in how often they want you to give.  They offer a big Bonus for the frequent visits, but I'm concerned it's not that Safe to do as often IMO.  Anyway, I don't know how I Ended the Pay Period coz I forgot to ask for a Printout before I left Work Saturday Night, which is the end of our 2 Week Pay Period.  I think I did Okay, not great, but Okay, so, probably will be a smallish Check, but, at least I won't Owe.   I Sold mostly Smalls, a few significant things, but Rents are high and so you need to Kill it now to make your Margins of Profiting.   And many Brick and Mortars aren't even making it now, so I feel I'm holding on pretty well in my little venture, all things considered about how shitty the Economy is and the bad trajectory it's heading.
