He Got Sprung From Hospital

So, Saturday around 1:00 p.m. the Hospital called and said that they were discharging The Man and he could go Home.  JUST as I got to the Hospital and pulled into a Parking Space was precisely when Princess T calls me from Work to say she just got off!  *Insert Huge Sigh*  Luckily, she said Rusty could come get her instead, since I didn't know how long discharge might take?  As it turns out they had everything ready and I could just have them wheel him out and load him up.  He had the Sweetest Cute Young Nurse and a big Stud Muffin Nurse's Assistant, Two very nice Young People who thought we were Funny and Cool Old Boomers.  *Winks*  I guess he'd Behaved really well for those Two since he seemed to have a very good rapport with both of them.  He can be a fav Patient if he wants to be.  *Smiles*

I swear he boosted everything in that Room that he could take Home with him, so he had his Goodie Bag of Free Stuff, well, that the Insurance will pay for.  *Bwahahaha*  For some reason he Loves all that stuff and always drags it Home with him after he's been Hospitalized... even if he never used it the whole time he was in there!  *LOL*  He was happy to be back Home and he looks much better than he did just the day before, his Color has returned and he's not Grey with a dreadful concerning pallor anymore.  They had Two Rx for me to pick up at the Civilian Pharmacy nearest us, luckily "Fry's" takes our Insurance and the Two Antibiotics for his Pneumonia only cost us $1.59 for both of them... whoop, whoop, that was a Relief.  And the Pharmacy had them ready right away too.

I did get a lot of Merch Priced before I picked The Man up from the Hospital.  Most of it were 1990's New Old Stock Toys, mostly Ltd. Edition Patriotic Themed Barbie's of a Series they had in the Nineties.  And a 1990's Alice In Wonderland Barbie.  {See Below}  I also had some LOL Surprise Tween Swap Dolls {2023 Series}, their claim to fame as a Doll Collectible is they had interchangeable Styling Heads, hence the 'Swap' reference and had 20 different "Surprises", since the whole LOL Doll Line was called LOL Surprise, so you only saw part of what you were getting in the Box.  All of those I have were New Old Stock too in original Packaging.

The LOL Dolls are inexpensive, so, Parents don't mind Buying them for the Kiddies, but the Barbie's, would be more of a Serious Doll Collector of them that wants New Old Stock to just Display and never open.  I'm not a Dolls Person, but, when I find any Old New Stock at a good Margin to profit from Resale of, I always get them, coz they always Sell well and lots of folks do Collect them and will pay up without even making Offers.  Since I don't know much about Collectible Dolls, I always do my due diligence Research, some are more valuable than others and I wouldn't otherwise know which are.  They do have to go in a Locked Case or they'd Walk Out the Doors by the Five Finger Discount Folks, some of which could be other Vendors that Steal... we've got some of them that Management should kick out and Ban from the Mall, but, haven't.  I put the ones I caught Stealing from me on Blast all the time and am not Shy about telling everyone they're Thieves. 

The worst Offender Rents a LOT of Space, so Management won't have her Excommunicado, but, they should.   When she Stole one of my Mannequin Torsos and got traced back to her Stealing it, I confronted her in front of God and everyone, including the Mall Manager.  *Winks*  I gave her Three Choices, bring it back within 20 Minutes... OR... meet me in the Parking Lot and I'd mete out some Street Justice... or, I could call the Police and file Charges.  Choose Wisely.  She had it back within the 20 Minutes, Wise Choice.  It wasn't the first time she'd Stolen from us but we had a difficult time proving the other Theft to Management and it was a less expensive KISS Collectible Figure.  We had the one she was Missing of her Set, that was a Four Piece Set of all the KISS Members.  We noticed she had the Three when we brought ours in.

So, we priced ours the same as she'd priced hers individually, so that if someone was seeking the whole Set, they could Buy her Three and our One to complete the Set.  Well, The Young Prince and I put it into Inventory and went to Lunch.  When we came back, ours was already gone, so we checked hers to see if hers Sold too?  Wouldn't you know, she now had a complete Set, had changed her Tags from Individual Sales to a Set Price for all Four.  What she didn't know is I'd marked ours on it's Original Tag with a Red Dot... and there it was!!!  I informed Management but they were reluctant to confront her about it and in the meantime her Set Sold and I just had to take the Loss.  But, I Vowed if that Thief Stole from me again and we caught her, I'd confront her myself and have a Come To Jesus with her.  And, that's what happened when she got bold enuf to walk out of the Mall with a whole Mannequin Torso that was mine!!!

She admitted it, she was on Surveillance Video so she couldn't really deny what she'd done and she knew it wasn't hers and had it a Week before we traced it back to her.  But, I got it back, so at least I thwarted that Theft from a Shady Ass Vendor skimming other Vendor's Inventory.  It was a $100 Mannequin and no telling how much Inventory she's Stolen from various other Vendors and pretended was hers?   And I told every other Vendor about both Incidents and to keep an Eye on her if she's around any of their Merch, coz a lot of Vendors have Loss Prevention Issues and it's not always Customers doing the Stealing.  

She avoids me like the Plague now, she's a Mousy little Retired Librarian and rabid MAGAt, who Sells a lot of the MAGA shit in her Spaces.  Princess T said a lot of that MAGA shit is Donated now and they just throw it out, they won't even put it into Inventory.  Too controversial and the Company wants no Association with the Political stance or ideology.  Most Companies realize the risks of being aligned with anyone who will be on the Wrong side of History.  Citizens boycott a lot of Companies they feel some kind of way about what those Companies are associated with or support, and it's always damaging to their reputation.  You can't realistically boycott everything that is involved in some way with what you disagree with, but you can decide what or who you will or won't do business with and why. 

By Saturday Night my allergies flared up, itchy watery Eyes, runny Nose, congestion... but, Spring is the Season for everything Blooming and lots of Pollens in the Air.  I've stocked up on Eye Drops and Allergy Meds.  When I went out to check the Mail, the Pollen from our Pine Trees was like a thick Yellow Dusting all over the Driveway and my Black Truck.  Across the Main Street that is in front of our Property it's lined with Palo Verde Trees and their Yellow Blossoms come down like a lovely Rain of Petals and pile up along the Curbs in beautiful heaps of the Tree's Flowers.  And our Neighbors all have Citrus Trees so the heavy Scent of their Blossoms permeates the Air, it's intoxicating as an Aroma, those Orange Blossoms particularly.  But, Neighbors also have Tangelo, Lemon, Lime, Pecan, Grapefruit and Pomegranate Trees Blooming as well.

 

I just Love Spring, tho' in the Desert it will come with blistering Heat and this Year it came by Winter and got to 109 already, IN WINTER... which, is even Crazy for around here.  With it being 22 Degrees above Average it could mean 140 this Summer, which is terrifying to even contemplate, and not Survivable for any Living Thing, so all Body Parts Crossed it Cools down more and the Record Breaking isn't that intense for Spring or Summer as it was for Winter?   Climate Change is Real... and yet, we still have Deniers who will not accept that it is or try to be Ecologically more responsible and do their part to combat it.  Whaddya gonna do, you can't Fix Stupid and do much with or about those who choose to live in their Fantasy Imagined Alternate 'Reality', which isn't Real at all, but, they can't handle Reality or the Truth, clearly.

It was interesting to read everyone's Blog Posts about their Local No Kings Protests, it gives me Hope for Humanity and that the Good outnumber the Bad of our Species.   I'm so glad that even in Rural Deep Red Communities, the Peaceful Protestors made their Voice Heard and their Presence known, boldly and Proudly being True Patriots, and Joyfully so even tho' it is very Serious Business to Protect and Preserve Democracy and Advocate for Decency.  It was good to also hear that the Opposition wasn't too problematic and didn't get Violent, like they are prone to doing, emulating their Orange Messiah they Worship like a demented god who is more a Devil and Evil, than anything remotely Godly.  I've come to the realization that his Camp/Rabid Base wouldn't recognize any Devil when they see one, and would align with Demonic Forces, since, discernment and the recognizing the obvious aren't their strengths or Virtues, clearly.

That said, the coverage I watched did show some defectors who feel betrayed by the Regime and so some are finally coming around.  Took them long enuf, I guess thinking they might be Drafted to fight an unpopular Foreign Forever War was the tipping point to these self professed "MAGA Patriots"?   Or mebbe it was high Gas Prices?  Whatever it was that tipped the Scales for them finally coming towards the Light and the Right side of History, I do feel they should be Welcomed and part of the Resistance inclusively.  It's the only way to Change Hearts and Minds.  Only extending Loving Kindness can combat Hate and Evil, and I do think People CAN Change and become Better if they don't feel absolutely Condemned, just Convicted enuf to make Positive Changes and Be Better versions of themselves.  I'm Fine with someone coming over from the Dark Side and turning things around in Positive ways, everyone benefits from that.

Anyway, it was good to see that some reform is happening among the splintered factions of the MAGA Movement.  I always try to see things from the perspective of anyone who thinks and acts differently than I do.  I can amicably Agree to Disagree about most things, and don't expect everyone to share my Point of View.  But, just try to Be a Decent Human, I don't think that is too much to ask of anyone and it is a mandate for me personally.  If you aren't a Decent Human Being and have too much Hatred and Evil intentions against other Human Beings, and absolutely no Moral Compass anymore, we just can't be Friends or ever come into alignment or agreement.  I just cannot Respect you if you choose that Path and align with the abhorrent and are okay with atrocities and anything inhumane, whether it be towards a Human or even an Animal.  I find that to be repulsive, very Sick and absolutely Twisted.

I liked watching the folks wearing the Whimsical Costumes to their Protests, to bring levity and some Joy to what is a Serious Situation, but, keeps things in perspective.  We cannot lose our Joy or have it Stolen from us.   I LOVED some of your Signs, many of you were Brilliant with your Signage at your Protests.   It warmed my Heart to see the varied Demographic Protesting and being on the Right Side of History, from the very Young to the very Old, every persuasion of American or Immigrant standing in Unity and Purpose, as it should be.   The Love of our Country was evident, we want to protect and preserve that which makes America Beloved... and many Generations have Fought and even Died to defend and give us these Freedoms and a Nation we could be Proud of before, and Hopefully can be Proud of again once we oust this Regime and make it known, not here, not ever!!! 

Arizona had well over 70 Protests that Day, Metro Phoenix is very Blue, but the Rural Parts of Arizona tend to be very Red and sometimes scarily so.   I remember in 2016 we were looking to Buy Property and went to the Cave Creek/Carefree Communities.  Which tend to be Upscale, so I didn't expect how prominent the MAGA Movement was there, in a real Extremist way that was very unsettling.  Enough so we didn't feel Safe, or Welcome, and, we decided we would never Buy in a Community like that... geez, it was fucking Surreal!!!   We cancelled the Showings we'd lined up and in a way, I was glad it was an Election Year and we Witnessed how fanatical and Extremist some in that Community actually were so that we didn't become Neighbors!  It would not have been a good Fit.  *Bwahahahahaha, ya think?!*  And I doubt they'd of rolled out the Welcome Mat either.  Damned Hippies and Ethnics moving in!  The Tiki Torch Crowd would have been Shitting Kittens to have us Buy Property there.  *Winks*

It was a lot of Big jacked up high Trucks with Confederate Flags and even big Cardboard Cutout Figures of Donnie Two Dolls mounted in the Beds of some, whooping it up in frenzies like KKK without the Sheets on!!!  I kid you not!!!!!!!!!!  Princess T was terrified and traumatized by it.  She was the only Hispanic even evident and Honestly, me with my Dreads and her being Hispanic, we didn't feel particularly Safe or Welcome, we were getting the Side-Eye Hate filled Stares, even with The Man in tow wearing his USMC Gear and War Medals on his Cap.  So, we got the Hell out of there and he agreed, it even was unsettling to him... and he's been in numerous Wars, but he knows a potentially Dangerous unhinged Situation when he sees one, that could go Sideways on the turn of a Dime with the Wrong Crowd being in the majority and ginned up like that!   We've not been back since then.  I can't Imagine sentiments have changed much in that Demographic of the Politically Extreme and Radicalized 'Insane'?

Moving On... This is the West Half of The She Shed, it's about Twice this Size and the Double Entrance Door is on the Southeast Side where I'm standing to take this Pix.  That Old Farmhouse Table is my Pricing Station and has a Window directly in front of it.  The Double Barn Doors leading into The She Shed also have Windows, so it's very light and bright in there even when the Doors are Closed.  The Old Vintage Milk Crates are mostly what was in an Outbuilding at the Historic Property or found Curbside on Bulk Garbage Day.  So most of them are quite Old and discarded, a lot are from defunct Dairies locally.  I'm presently Culling the contents of these stacks of the Inventory in them, to either Sell or Donate.  So, I've gotten thru half of them so far in just a few Days already.

 I bring empty Cardboard Boxes with us when Curbside Trawling on Bulk Garbage Day and dump what's in the Milk Crates into the Cardboard Boxes instead, so I can take the Old Milk Crates Home for Storage, they stack nicely and then aren't Landfill bound.   Sometimes you find them at Chazzas for 99 Cents to $1.99 each too.  I also Store stuff in Banana Boxes, some of which I've had since before my Kids were even Born!  They're so sturdy too they practically last Forever if they don't get wet.  And the Discount Grocer often has empty Banana Boxes to put your Groceries in, so I have twice as many Bottoms as Lids now.  You do need the Lids to Stack and Store them with contents.  So, I'm looking to Source some more Lids.
