Be Well And Be Gone If You Can't Behave

Had the potential for some more HUMANA Drama again, but it got sorted out quickly by The Man's Specialists for me, so I didn't have to Appeal.  HUMANA overturned the Denial for the last Hospitalization which they had claimed "their" Doctors said wasn't necessary!!!   Our Cardiologist contested it immediately saying it absolutely WAS necessary, his Blood Pressure had almost flatlined and he had Pneumonia, he could have Died if he hadn't of made it to the ER and been immediately Hospitalized!   So, HUMANA changed their decision and is paying out without me Appealing it, and I've got Letters {Receipts}, for both the initial Denial, and then the subsequent Approval.  *Whew*  I abhor Insurance Drama.  If Doctors don't get Paid is when they quit accepting certain Insurance Providers.  A lot Hate taking TriCare coz the Federal Government Insurers are notorious for stiffing Doctors and Medical Providers.

I finally got in touch with John, the Physical Therapist that didn't show up on Tuesday.  It was just as well he didn't since The Man was needing to go back to the ER that Morning and it was all day at the ER.  We re-scheduled for this Friday Morning/Afternoon.  So, at least now I have a point of contact for John, the Agency he works for, Approval from our Insurance on how many Sessions is approved.  Which I think is only Three Sessions pre-approved so far, but sometimes they extend that, like the VA has been doing with Nurse Remi, as Needed.  John sounded East Indian but his Surname is definitely Italian, so I was a little thrown off by what sounded like a thick East Indian Accent I detected.  I do Hope that The Man can understand him coz he's not good with Accents, I am.  So, I may have to translate even if everyone in the room is speaking English.  Sometimes he struggles understanding Nurse Remi's Nigerian Accent.  She speaks fluent English with a Charming Accent tho'.

Anyway, early Wednesday Morning since I'd spend ALL Day at the ER on Tuesday, I Needed some Down Time just for my own Self Care and to get Centered and Balanced again.  I did some early Environmental Cleanup while it was Cool, it's been very Cool lately, I don't know Why?  Then I went for Breakfast at "First Watch", and then I went and did my Workout at the Gym, had the Hydrotherapy Bed for 20 Minutes, had the Wet Steam Sauna for 10 Minutes and a nice Shower afterwards, it all felt so good and I was done well before Noon with everything.  I'd even traded in my Four Bags of Aluminum Cans at the Recycle Center.  The Antique Mall Manager called to ask if I'd Work Thursday Night, so I accepted, nothing on the Calendar.  And I've already accepted about Four more Shifts for Wednesday Nights in April and May to cover for someone else.  The comped Space Rent will come in handy if Sales are Soft this Spring?

I will be doing a huge Eye Candy visual Avalanche dump of cribbed Images of TEXAS TRASH JEWELRY in this Post, coz I really dig it and it came up on my Algorithm Feed, so you all KNOW what then happens. Down that Rabbit Hole I go!!!  *Winks*   It's Funky and over the top, which is what I like in Bling and Statement Piece Jewelry/Accessories.  So, my Algorithm knows me well.  *Smiles*  Makes good Blog Fodder Eye Candy while promoting and Supporting yet another Small Business I just discovered and Hope you will now too.  I also popped in to TARGET and got some Easter Merch marked down 30%.   All were Food Items, Non-Food Items were 50% Off but I didn't have Need of any of that.  I'd actually gotten another Bag of Plastic Easter Eggs I gleaned from doing Environmental Cleanup that Kiddos left behind in the Park I was doing.  It amazes me how much doesn't get bothered to find or take Home. 

 Some Young Homeless Lady was lining up a bunch of Orchid Plants in lovely Ceramic Planters that she'd Found!  I guess someone had Decorated with them at one of the Gazebos you can Reserve, and then just left them in the Park?  I don't know what a Homeless Person is gonna do with a bunch of Orchids... perhaps try to Sell them???  She had about a Dozen tho', and in Lovely Pastel Colored Easter Planters.  I wouldn't have minded Scoring some of those, but she'd Sourced them all I guess.  *LOL*   Good for her, I Hope she can glean a little somethin' somethin' for having Rescued them from just being left to Die or be thrown out, which is all Park Services will do with such things left behind, no matter the Value or condition.  A lot gets thrown out, I think Park Services should probably Box items up and Donate them to some Charitable Organization frankly.  But, that's not their Policy and Workers have told us to just take it and do what we want with it... coz they can only throw it away.

When I picked up Princess T from Work they had a McCoy Vintage Chef Head Cookie Jar and I got it for Five Bucks since it was Military Discount Day.  Online it's Selling for between Forty and Seventy Dollars, even at the low end I Scored it at a Bargain.  I also got an Amethyst Crystals Votive Candle Holder cut into a big Amethyst Crystals Chunk for only Four Bucks, the Crystals are quite lovely and it's a large Votive Holder.  So, it was a good day for Pickin' at a Chazza.  I hadn't intended to Buy anything but when you find something Primo, well, you're not gonna walk away if you're me.  Whether I Keep it or Sell it, it's an Investment with Money Made on The Buy.

I'd definitely Buy one of these funky little over the top Necklace Creations, looks like this Designer does Sell Out of a lot of her Creations Online.  But worth taking a gander, I liked the Western Themed ones best, but there were many other Themes.  It just reminded me of Cracker Jack Toys, the good Old ones when the Candy Maker put really good Toys in their Boxes as a Premium Prize.  I have a Collection of Vintage Cracker Jack Toys and some have been made into Necklaces already and they're Fun.  These are Fun as well and I Love the little Toys, Orphaned Bling and Charms used in the Creation of them.  So, I took a Deep Dive down the Rabbit Hole of that Algorithm Feed which led to their FB Page and then their Business Page, which I provided the Link to.

I cribbed only my Favs but I'm sure you'll have those you're drawn to that I didn't crib to Share here.  I was light on Blog Fodder Imagery again and thought them well worthy of promoting coz they're visually Fun and Creatively stunning in a Whimsical way.  They kind of remind me of Betsey Johnson's Line of Jewelry, which I also Love and have Collected for a long time.  These seem to be OOAK Creations tho' and perhaps the Artisan does Commissioned Pieces for her Clients, I dunno?  I like how she does the Presentation of each Piece when Photographing it too.  And you all know once I fall down someone's Rabbit Hole, I Dive really, really Deep and go back often Years worth of their Imagery that mebbe nobody has seen in a long time coz it's gone Deep into the Archives of their Social Media Posts and Pages.  Resurrecting those Images is important to see an Evolution of a Line, an Artist or Business. 

 I had so much Fun falling down this Whimsical Jewelry Line's Rabbit Hole, I Needed some Levity and Visual Eye Candy Relief.  The Man's Legs and Feet are still swelling up in spite of the Diuretic they prescribed.  We've got to do some Specialist and Primary Physician follow-up to get this resolved I think.  He's pissing his Brains out but can't seem to keep pace with the swelling and it's worrisome to me.  His Mobility is important and his comfort, right now both are compromised with this Leg and Foot Swelling going on and his Skin at 74 is wafer thin and splitting open easily if stretched too tight.  He doesn't need open wounds, being a Diabetic then Infections, Ulcers, and loss of Limbs can happen.  Nurse Remi said she can provide Dressings for us if his Doctors feel that would be Helpful?  I don't know what would be Helpful?  So, I need some direction from Medical Professionals.

He spent all day at Home with The Son watching him for me.  The Son made Deviled Eggs for the first time, he did a good job apparently coz he and The Man ate them all and I only got a Picture!  *LOL*  I'd wanted to try one, no such Luck.   Okay, so, they weren't very Pretty coz he tore the Hard Boiled Eggs apart trying to peel them while they were still Hot, but, he's Learning.  They kind of looked already nibbled on, or like an Egg Massacre happened, No?  *Smiles*  He also didn't find the Egg Trays that fit in the Tupperware Storage for Deviled Eggs, which I have several of.   So they were sliding around in it.  *Ha ha ha*  And he went Bananas with the Paprika as Garnish, but, apparently they tasted great, The Man said he really liked them and that's all that Counts.  And Guys don't particularly always Care about how something is Presented, or Presentation in General, if it just tastes good.  *Smiles*  I'm glad he's Learning how to make his favorite Foods so he can make it for us too.

We miss his Sister's Cooking, she is more the Culinary Jedi.  The Young Prince is an excellent Cook of the few things he knows how to make, which is limited.  Mostly coz he and his Sister only eat about a Half Dozen Foods on the Planet all the time and have loads of Digestive Issues, Gut Problems, and Food Allergies galore, so they are limited and restricted in what they even can eat comfortably.  And, for The Grandson, his Hallucinations bother him a lot with Foods, he thinks they're all still Alive and Moving, which isn't Helpful, and more than a bit Terrifying for him, when either Preparing, Cooking them or Eating them.  So, he's not in the Kitchen very much and apparently his Schizophrenic Mom doesn't have those same Hallucinations about her Foods, Thank Goodness!  *Whew*  She's more inclined towards Paranoia, where she thinks "They and Them" are always looking for her or spying on her, listening, watching.  We don't know exactly who "They or Them" is, she doesn't either.

Another thing the Grandson has Mental Health Issues with is he's never sure if his Food is being tampered with and sabotaged or Poisoned.   We don't know Why or Who he'd think would do that?   He began to think Allen was and it was causing Issues in their Relationship.   But it's a very Real Delusion for him and so he likes to prepare his own Drinks and Food so that nobody can "Off" him that way.  Since he has serious Gut Issues that often make him Sick when he Eats, and especially after getting E. Coli and Food Poisoning from something he might have contracted it from digesting something contaminated, it's only amplified his Paranoia now about Food in general being Tainted.   We really don't even know for sure it was the Forest Mushroom Soup he had at a Restaurant or not... might have been, I can't say for sure?  I have my Reservations about it since how you can get E. Coli can be in many different scenarios that I won't mention out of decorum.

 

This was one of the Religious Creations that Artisan made, I liked it.  I like Religious Iconography, Medals and Charms, I have a huge Collection of them I often wear or have Jewelry made into.    Rusty came over here this time to spend time with Princess T.   The last time he came over is when the infamous Fight between Mando and The Son happened, so, he hadn't been back since then, it was too Crazy.  *LMAOROTF*  Yeah, Princess T was like, my Boyfriend said, that was Crazy at your House, your Grandpa having a Heart Attack and being in Heart Surgery.  Then your Uncle punching your Mom's Boyfriend in the Face when that Guy got Ballsy, and I really thought the Police would have to be called to break it up if your Brother hadn't managed to.  You were on the Phone to your Gramma, who was already Dealing with your Grandpa's Near Death Experience already and he's IN Surgery as this Fight is happening here at Home!

 Plus, your Brother wanted to kick her Boyfriend's Ass too, but he didn't want your Uncle catching Charges... and your Mom was hitting your Uncle coz he wouldn't Stop!   And The Boyfriend doesn't quit being confrontational just coz he got his Ass handed to him, and finally gets in the Car and then yells Homophobic Offensive shit to your Brother, coz he feels Safe to peel off before your Brother flips out on his Ass too!  Fun Times at The Asylum!!!  So... I didn't know what to do!?  It did put Rusty in an awkward spot, being a Man too, and not knowing how much involvement, or not, he should even have?  I'm glad he chose to just be a Witness and Observe, without Involvement or escalating a Situation already spiraling out of Control and with everyone's Nerves very Raw.  He's a Nice Guy and doesn't like or want Trouble.  And that had been a Crazy fucking Day.  Of coarse Princess T said, it's always a Crazy Day around here, so she's just used to it.  We're all stocked up on Crazy here.

Mando was Foolish to have Two Schizophrenics and a Bipolar Autistic to Trigger at the same Fucking time anyway, what WAS he thinking?!  Or NOT thinking?  I have the sense that he thinks he is more of a Bad Ass than he is, and mebbe he used to be one?   But, forgets he's now 59 and has Bone Cancer, so he shouldn't be mouthing off, getting aggressive and threating or provoking folks and instigating Fights and Confrontations with People, too risky in his Condition and Age.  How he talks to The Daughter is always reason enuf to have him get his Ass handed to him by her Brother or Son anyway, but, she's defensive of him and so turning on her Brother and Son was just not a good idea that day either.  Wrong Side to be on.   And I told her that, they only want what's Best for her and this Guy isn't Best for her in our Opinion, or anyone else's that she knows for that matter.  Zero folks are thinking the Relationship is a Healthy one.

  

Anyway, all that to say that it took Rusty a Minute then to want to risk even trying to come over again.  *Bwahahahahaha*  But, Tonight has been Drama Free and Calm, no Trouble in Paradise, so he's enjoying his Visit and Princess T is glad nothing Crazy is happening so that he can feel Okay coming over to her Home.  *LMAOROTF*  She isn't Ashamed of her Family, but, she warns everyone, there is nobody even remotely Well in this Family and they are pretty Crazy, so, Heads Up.  *Winks*  And I'm sure it does cause a level of Embarrassment at times for her, tho' she's had her levels of Crazy too and Rusty knows how that goes and that it's likely all Hereditary!  *Bwahahahahaha*  She is not one to trifle with even tho' she appears to be Sweet, Quiet and Harmless tho'.  Like her Brother once said when her Bestie Crazy Pamela threw a Bible at his Sister Years ago, "Well, it was the Right Book!"   Coz he always said his Kid Sister was on the verge of being Pre-Demonic when she goes to the Dark Side of her Personality.  She can be formidable!  *Smiles and Winks*

Anyway, The Man went to Bed before 8:00 p.m. Today coz he didn't feel great, and I'm Working Tomorrow Night.   So I told the Kiddos to keep a close Eye on him and I told my Manager, Steven, that if I have to leave Work, it will be becoz The Man took another Bad Turn, they know what's going on, so it's Okay.   They know I'm winging it and taking it one day at a time on what I can even try to do anymore.  Being at Work is a bit of a respite for me to Get Away tho' and have the Kiddos cover for me here at Home so that I can get a break from it.  The Antique Mall is one of my Happy Places, like The Land Of Blog is, or being out in Nature, or going to The Gym, or going Junquing.  Tomorrow Morning I'm gonna try to get my Base Military I.D. Care Renewed coz it expires the 8th of May and I don't wanna wait 'til the 11th Hour coz of The Man's precarious Health.  He's my Sponsor Spouse so he has to be present.

I'm not absolutely sure, but since we've been Married over 20 Years during his time in Service, and I'm well over 65 now, I may have this I.D. Card have no Expiration Date now?   My Mom got one when she was over 65 that was Permanent, coz tho' Divorced, she and our Dad had been Married over 20 Years of his Military Service too, which Entitled her to Privileges Earned as a Spousal Dependent Supporting her Husband's Military Career.  There's not much the Military do for Spouses, even tho' you Serve alongside your Soldier, but that's at least one of them.   So, we'll see.  I don't know if they'll require our Wedding Certificate or not to prove we've been Married over 35 Years now?   And we'll go early so that The Man can get thru it.  Doing anything at the Base can be an Ordeal... it is The Government after all.  And most things there is a get in Line, Hurry Up and Wait your Turn kinda thing that is hard for The Man now in his Condition.  But Disabled Vets get no "Pass" to Line Jump, actually Active Duty get to Line Jump ahead of any Retiree waiting.

So anytime an Active Duty Personnel come in for the same thing, they go first even if you've been waiting there for Hours.  So, you just Hope not a whole bunch of them need to come in that day or you may never get your Turn.  And his 39 Years of Service and being a 100% Disabled Veteran with a shit-ton of Medals for Valor, don't give him any sway or Priorities ahead of those still Serving.  And you're used to that Hierarchy out there and nobody complains about it, but you know you're gonna be waiting a long time usually and have to make the Time to do what you absolutely must do, like getting your I.D. Cards renewed, which isn't Optional, it's Mandatory.  They are what Serve as your Tri-Care Healthcare Eligibility and entry onto the Base and for any Services provided for being a Retired Military Individual or Family Member, so it's crucial to have it.    It crept up on me that it was expiring this Year.  Next Year my Driver's License has to be renewed too before my Birthday in 2027.

We watched a Horror Suspense Movie Tonight called "Weapons" {2025} starring Josh Brolin, Amy Madigan and Julia Garner.  I thought it was pretty good, we like Horror Movies.  In the genre, this was better than most modern ones are IMO.  Reviews felt mixed, some folks thought it was overrated, I disagree, it had some truly suspenseful parts, but then again, some humorous ones and the ending was not well done, but leading up to that End, I thought it delivered.  The acting was good and it was quite different.  Either you Loved it or you didn't is what I'm saying, The Son and I Loved it and felt it was worth watching from start to finish it held our attention and you wanted to know what would happen and what twists.  They made it seem like it was based on a True Story, which, it wasn't, but that kind of Hooked you too and was a bit brilliant for saying that at the start, as if it was.  I liked the terrifying bits balanced with Humor.  Freaking you out with Suspenseful Old Fashioned Terror and then making you Laugh is quite a feat in one Movie.

So, I side with those who thought it was a Brilliant Horror Movie, not with those that didn't like it.  I think it could end up being a Horror Cult Classic and they could have Sequels to it... they left it Open for that really IMO.  You know how some Cult Classic Horror Movies have become franchises that you watch every Halloween?  Well, this one could join them.  I don't think there's been a Halloween I haven't watched the Original "Halloween" {1978} with Jamie Lee Curtis and of all the Sequels, the Original is still my favorite and Yes, it got overdone with Sequels once it franchised, as they typically do when they end up with Cult followings and become Classics of their Genre.   Like "Alien" {1979} and "Jaws" {1975}, the Seventies and Eighties were really packed with those that became Cult Classics clear up to the mid 1990's.  "Friday The 13th" {1980}, "A Nightmare On Elm Street" {1984}, "Predator" {1987}, "IT" {1990}, and "Scream" {1996}.  But, you can only do something so much before it Jumps the Shark eventually.

 

Just like Disaster Movies and Apocalyptic Movies became a Thing, various Genres have had their Runs.  Clint Eastwood brought the Westerns Back, and Action Movies have had their Cult Followings too.  The Man really Loves certain Genres of Movies that I never watch, like the whole "Fast & Furious" {2009} franchises... Vin Diesel, well... I just can't.  *Smiles*  And it was a shame that Costar Paul Walker Died like he did, making his Real Life imitate the foolish driving Cars too fast like the franchise, and ended up killing himself horribly doing it.  The Man will watch every one of those of that franchise that's been put out and I can't get thru a single one of them.  

We woke up to The Daughter sleeping on the Sectional in the Livingroom.  *Ruh Roh says her Daughter and I, somethin's up!*  The Rumors we'd heard turned out to be accurate about the Car Accident but she Thankfully wasn't in the Vehicle or involved.  She only knows the secondhand Story she got from him and isn't sure it's verifiable.  He had no Registration, claims one of the retread Tires he had on the Vehicle, which is all Four Tires, blew and he lost control and had the Accident and now the Vehicle is impounded and he has all that going on.  She seems to be getting fed up and that's a good thing.  She is still holding the line about being Clean, but says the Boyfriend does have a problem and I told her I don't want anyone with problems on my property ever now.  They and their problems can be somewhere else. 

Now that he doesn't have transportation she feels he won't be stalking around like he was before, which she says is why she went with him.  So that The Family didn't have him lurking around coz she knows how I feel about someone being Obsessed like that, it's Creepy as Fuck.  At least now I'll have my House Clean and Meals Cooked again, The Man have a backup Caregiver he likes taking Care of him, he was Happy she's back, he likes her Helping him coz she's good with Old Cranky Guys and she's always been a Daddy's Girl and dotes on him.  *LOL*  We spent 2 Hours at Pass And I.D. at the Base getting my Military I.D. renewed, they're slow and busy from the Minute they Open and lots of Active Duty in Uniform coming in constantly pushing everyone waiting pushed back in Priority.  So, tho' I was 10th in Line it took 2 Hours to get to us.  But, now I do have a Permanent I.D. coz I'm Old enuf.  *Whew*  So, no more of that nonsense renewing it anymore.

  

The Man was getting Testy and a bit Cranky waiting so long coz his Legs really hurt and were swelling from sitting so long.  Lots of people were there with small Kids and Babies, but Bless those Kiddos, every single one wasn't fussy the entire time of waiting Hours.  That's the difference with Military Families compared to Civilian Families tho', the Kids are taught early on to be disciplined and not act up or act the Fool, or be fussy.  They get used to having to behave and be patient no matter what.  And if you do mess up, your Military Parent could get busted in Rank for it so it's no Joke.  

I took The Man out for an early Lunch afterwards since we completely missed Breakfast with it taking so long.  We went to "Dillons" which is a BBQ Smokehouse Restaurant attached to The Wildlife World Zoo near the Base.  We both had the Fisherman's Platter which has Shrimp and Catfish {Grilled, Blackened or Fried... he had the Grilled, I had the Blackened}, and Two Sides, I had the Grilled Corn On The Cob with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, he had the Mac N Cheese with Baked Beans.   We shared the Blueberry Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice-Cream for our Dessert.   We had nice Seats by the Big Saltwater Aquarium shared with The Zoo.  They give Military Discount, which covered the cost of our Dessert.  It was a lovely Meal and will tide me over at Work for Tonight's Shift.

Now that the Boyfriend is gone the Good Friends of our Kiddos feel comfortable coming over again, nobody Liked him.  And he made everyone feel uncomfortable and unwelcome coming over so they just didn't.  And she got isolated from Family and Friends when they left and she wasn't comfortable with that, so it was Time for her to finally ask a Friend to come get her and leave.   She feels Safer too, he made everyone feel Unsafe coz he's unstable and not in control of himself.  She feels sorry for him having a Terminal Illness and nobody to take Care of him, but he's run everyone off by how he is.  People like that eventually run everyone off who would have Helped them and Cared about them, so, his Behavior is what caused him to be Alone.  Even if you're Dying, nobody is gonna tolerate abuse, not verbal and not physical, or Angry uncontrolled outbursts, period.

I knew she'd tire of not being treated well when she was doing everything Kindly and for his benefit and well being.  You really can't have someone mistaking your Kindness for Weakness, huge Mistake if they do.  He had a good thing and he blew it so he only has himself to blame for that, nobody else.  Everyone here was nothing but Kind to him and appreciative of what he was doing that was Positive and Helpful to us too.  But I won't put up with any kind of Bad Behavior and there's never a Good Excuse for Bad Behavior to me.  I don't tolerate it from my own Loved Ones let alone anyone else I'm not Invested in the Life of.  Be Well and Be Gone if you can't Behave.  Now there's a good and rather Clever Post Title Hook for Today.  *Winks*

In the Middle is my Talented Designer Artisan Friend Cyndie who Creates most of the lovely Jewelry also in Today's Post Imagery.   Her Business is called VINTAGE ENVY.   That is her FB Link if you wanna see even more of her wonderful Creations of Vintage Bohemian Bling.  She Creates out of a lot of European Antiquities that have a wealth of History behind them, many of them Religious and several are Meerschaum Reliquaries.  I've been Collecting her Jewelry for many Years now and she's one of my Favorite Designers of it.   She Sources some of the most Interesting pieces to Create her Jewelry from, and it's Sourced from around the World.  She carefully Curates her Supplies so they're all of good Quality and yet she keeps her Prices reasonable.   

The Daughter is going to have to accept that when she left with the Boyfriend her Kids felt Abandoned by her all over again.  So, her coming back, they're not real receptive of being close and getting hurt again.  She has to come to terms with the fact you can't do that with your Kids or they fail to have Trust in you or that they matter and are a high enuf priority to you if you're choosing other Relationships over yours with them.   So, The Young Prince isn't warmly welcoming her back and really doesn't want a lot to do with her right now.  She has to give him Space and Princess T will be more stand-offish too I highly suspect.  She was just now forming any Relationship with a Mom whose been absent for all of her Childhood and the first part of her Young Adulthood.  So, lots of Earning Trust and Respect back is on The Daughter.  Her Brother told her to give Space to both Kids coz they felt quite Hurt and very Abandoned, like they didn't matter.

They don't HAVE to let her into their Lives and they're both fine if she's not in it.   So she has to understand her Behaviors will either repel them or cause them to give her another chance, but, it's their decision, not hers.   I can't Mediate or Moderate any of that now, nor could I ever.  An Absentee Parent, regardless if the reasons were in the best Interests for the Child(ren), can become out of Sight, out of Mind for those Kids.  They understand the Nature of her Illness, they understand her Addictions and Recovery is Fragile Ground, and her Lifestyle Choices has always been compromised and quite Poor, but, they don't have to Deal with any of that if they don't want to and they certainly don't Need to either.   I'm not her Children so our Relationship as Mother & Daughter is a different dynamic than a Mother & Child.

Princess T is more pragmatic about her Mom, and her Mom's struggle to have functional Relationships with anyone, it's rarely even personal that her Relationships tend to be dysfunctional and complex.   When I can get along with our Daughter I do, when we can't get along I just don't, and she knows that exposure to her when she's not getting along and playing well with others is something I will limit for my sake and everyone else's too, including her.   I don't wanna Square Off with her and she doesn't wanna Square Off with me either, it would go badly and everyone knows it.  *LOL*  So, most of the time I just Warn her when she's being hard to have Relationship with, I acknowledge that like an Almond Joy, sometimes you Feel like a Nut, sometimes you don't, but when you're on the Crazy Train, or Using/Abusing Substances, we can't be in the same Space... nuff said.  Amen and Amen.  *Smiles*

Work was good, my Friends Judith and Eve were working the Shift with me, I was filling in for their Co-Worker Sue.  It wasn't busy, but it was steady with the Locked Cases needing to be opened.  Not many Floor Assists, mostly folks buying Pokemon Merch.  Most Customers were Younger Adults, which now is the dominant Demographic coming in and Buying anything anymore.  The Daughter was telling me a Friend of hers she stayed with after she left Mando, had some of the items I Sell in her Home.  The Daughter said, Oh, my Mom Sells that.  And her Friend said, well I got mine at The Brass Armadillo Antique Mall in one of the Rooms... turns out it WAS our Showroom.  *LOL Small World, huh?*  Her Friend said, OMG, I Buy a lot of things then from your Mom and Daughter's Space there!  *Smiles*

We only had 311 Customers thru the Door this Day, which is low, I Hope things pick up for the Weekend and close of this Pay Period coz Sales have been Soft, mostly only inexpensive Smalls Selling.  Our Showroom was pretty tidy tho', not messed up, so at least Customers had been considerate when in there Shopping.   Most of what I'd Sold this Week had been what I highly suspect Parents were Buying to fill their Kid's Easter Baskets with in the way of Small Collectible Toys and Plastic Easter Eggs I was Selling for a Dollar a Dozen in Clear Egg Cartons.  I decided to pull a Rare Fiesta Ware Color of Cereal/Soup Bowl and matching Coffee Mug out of Inventory and bring it Home to use.  We've been using the Fiesta Ware Bowls and Mugs more again and my Kiddos had asked me not to Sell any more of it we were using from Home.  It's something they want to Inherit, who knew?

 

I also bought a Rarer Medium Green Color Fiesta Ware Cereal/Soup Bowl with matching Mug, from Two different Vendors.  One had the Bowl so Cheap, and the other had the matching Rarer Color Mug for a reasonable Price.  I didn't think I had the Medium Green, I had the Shamrock Green, Sea Mist Green, Lemongrass, Sage Green and the Chartreuse {which is a favorite Yellow-Green which almost looks Lime Green to me}.   Below is all the shades of Green it comes in, some are close enuf in Hue to be hard for someone Color Blind, like me, to differentiate easily tho'.  So many Colors looks the same to me that is different, especially Greens... and things like Navy Blue and Black, I can't tell, they look the same to me.   Anyway, I do like my Fiesta Ware, it's Fun and Festive, it holds up well over Time too and was well made and has remained popular and very utilitarian.  It displays well and has use.

 

I came Home to dirty Dishes in the Sink, so, I know The Daughter is back... she's notorious for that, everyone else washes up as they go.  Well, except her Son, but he keeps his dirty Dishes in his Room, so, that's worse.  *Le Sigh and LOL*   But, The Man, The Son, Princess T and I always Wash as we go, if we use something, we just Wash it right away after we've used it, so nothing backs up.  I guess she had Cooked for everyone tho', so that's good since I was at Work and at least I know they all got a good Home Cooked Meal coz she is a good Cook and she likes to Cook.  You just know everything she used to Cook coz it's now in the Sink.  *Eye Roll and Laughs*

I didn't Price any Merch to bring in to Work coz Honestly I had no room for it until things Sell.  That's the dilemma right now holding up the Great Edit and Purge from ramping up more at the moment, not enuf Retail Space to put it if I did get it Priced and up For Sale.  And I've already Donated everything we weren't gonna bother to try to Sell in the most recent Purge.   I usually get the Donations gone the same Day I Box them all up and outta here.   So, I'm kinda stalled at the moment and I guess I could busy myself Pricing things and then not taking them in yet, but, I haven't done so.   I do wanna go thru every Banana Box and Old Milk Crate again that's in The She Shed Storage and rifle thru it to sort out more to just Donate and get it out of here.  Then Price the rest so its all ready to just rotate into the Antique Mall when I need Fresh Merch to bring in.

What's simply not Selling/Moving at The Mall I just don't wanna take up expensive Retail Real Estate with right now there.  And I don't want it taking up Storage Space here either.  I'd just as soon keep Downsizing more and more to wade thru it quicker and Declutter all Spaces more efficiently right now.   I was disappointed that even with Frontage Road access to Host a Yard Sale, they just haven't done that well to bother with the Work entailed to Host one IMO.  If I can't at least make $100 or more in a Day of doing one, it's hardly worth all the effort to set one up and then take it all down.   We have everything really priced to Sell when we do Host one so if you can't Sell it at that very low Price Point, you might as well Donate it to a worthy Cause/Charity instead.  It's all nice Clothing and Household Items of good Quality, so if someone won't even pay a Dollar each, forget about it.  I just thought it would give The Daughter something to do and some Money of her own.

But she was putting in so much Work on a Weekend to set one up and take it down, only to net mebbe Twenty Bucks or sometimes less after Hours at it, which is not worth it.  I've talked to other Friends who say the Yard Sales they've Hosted never do well anymore either, sometimes they get people coming by, but mostly, we haven't even had that, so you can't Sell to nonexistent Customers and nobody showing up to even look at what is being offered up.   One Neighbor on our Street does a Quarterly huge Yard Sale at their Home and they have it more like a Bodega and it's all new Merch, like a Real Shop would have, so they get a lot of Customers.  But to me, it's not really a Yard Sale, it's more like a Flea Market being Hosted in their Driveway and Selling brand new Product.  *Smiles*   I don't know if they actually have a Store somewhere or how/where they Source all new Merch like they do?  I think they must Buy Wholesale to Resell?  I've never seen anything I'd Buy tho', not decent Quality, but Cheaply made.

Tomorrow John the Physical Therapist is Scheduled and this time I do Hope he shows up?   He acted like he didn't even know they'd Scheduled him that day he didn't show up, so some communication was dropped I think.  He had our Names and Contact Numbers as Clients, but made it seem like he was waiting for us to Contact him and set up the Appointment, and we had his Office already Contact us and Set it up FOR us but with no direct way to reach John.  They'd told us he'd call with confirmation he was on his way when he was about ready to arrive.  So, when he was a No Show and didn't call us either to Cancel or explain, we weren't happy coz his Office had given us a Two Hour Window and Date that he was allegedly already Scheduled to show up... but apparently he knew nothing of it and thought the Appointment was still waiting to be Scheduled BY US!!!   So, at least this Appointment was Scheduled by us with John directly.
