This Morning we'll be getting The Man all Vaxxed Up. Both my Arms are seriously Sore from my Vaxes, ouch! It made for a sleepless & tough Night coz I hadda lay mostly flat on my Back to try to Sleep, which, isn't how I Sleep. I know movement will be Helpful to work those Muscles in my Bicep that got each Shot, so I'm trying to push past the Pain. But, it's Painful, I ain't gonna Lie, and I have a high tolerance for Pain, but, ouch, still unpleasant when using either Arm!!! No other side effects tho', just localized Pain from the injection sites. I'll mebbe take a Tylenol for it to get thru Today, it should diminish within 24 Hours I think.
So, we've got some Mega Memorial going on at the Stadium for that Charlie Kirk Victim and the President is flying in for it. We can see the Stadium from our Property, but will definitely avoid the chaos that will create in the area with Traffic and Security. But, the Protesters and the MAGA Maniacs are all out in force for Miles surrounding the area, waiting for a Spectacle and Outrage. They have numerous Ambulances and Fire Trucks standing by in case Violence erupts between the factions. Air Force One will fly in at Luke AFB. This President never Honored any other Political Assassination Victims and the push to make this Victim into some kind of Saint is rather ironic. Given his Platform when he was Alive being quite Toxic and not at all Saintly by any measure of the imagination or Sainthood requirements. Becoming a Canonized Saint is a lengthy process involving a meticulous investigation of a Candidate's Life and Virtues, and often requires Proof of Miracles.
Yes, trying to make him a Martyr for his Faith and being killed out of a "Hatred of the Faith" can exclude a Miracle being criteria. But, was he REALLY representing Christian Values of God's LOVE in Action? Well....not exactly a great Christian Witness presented of LOVE from what I saw and heard anyway. Or trying to use Religion to pass off Hate and Old Testament Violence as something Jesus was a Champion of? Yeah, that doesn't pass the Litmus Test of Christ's Love for Humanity and His ultimate Sacrifice for us either. Jesus wasn't about spreading Hatred among Mankind, I don't know what Religion Teaches that within Christianity, but, it would be Bad Religion and perversion of the Gospel IMO. Christianity has for sure suffered it's fair share of Religiously Extremist Zealots and Bad Actors, who did very bad and Evil things in the Name of God or their Religion.
Don't think Kirk would pass the "Heroic Value" of Sainthood either, since, it requires a display of Charity, Prudence, Justice, and Temperance. It's the most common Path to Sainthood, but you do have to display those Virtues. And even Offering of One's Life for others to Qualify, well, I'm fairly certain he didn't want to be a Human Sacrifice willingly for others, he was taken by a heinous act of Violence by another Assassin with a Gun, which is happening far too often in America when folks with access to Guns have Grievances these days. Most Victims are Children and average Citizens who nobody really could say were Controversial in their Lives to be Targeted by their Assassins. Controversial spokespersons, regardless of their Platform or Agendas, unfortunately are the Modern Day Targets of those who have Grievances about what they have to say and do.
We are, in America, up 'til now anyway, Free to Speak, but we must also be Wise enuf to acknowledge there are often still consequences for any of it that we say. If we are Controversial, we have decided the Risk is worth it to Stand for whatever it is we're about to say and Believe in, be it Right, Wrong or Indifferent to any Public Opinion or opposition. What he had to say was exceedingly Controversial and Offensive to many, it was Racist, Misogynistic, Homophobic, Islamophobic, Anti-Semitic, Fundamentalist Extremist, White Nationalist bent, and Xenophobic, so, most of us would consider it quite vile and definitely Hateful towards many Human Beings, a broad swath of Humanity in fact. But most of us just wouldn't listen to it or associate with someone with those Ideology professed so boldly. Personally I feel even Civil Discourse discussion with someone like that who is a polar opposite in Views, just mostly grabs attention and has definite Earning Potential, which is why many do it Publicly, it's profitable to in America, it's Clickbait on Steroids to be more Outrageous.
In CAN promote Mutual Understanding and find some Common Ground, rather than to Create Conflict, further Division or to Win an Argument. So, it can have some merit if done respectfully, Peacefully and bring different Viewpoints together harmoniously. People's Point of View often doesn't change a lot, but sometimes it can, with exposure to different Points of View to at least consider and Hear Out. We wouldn't react with violence towards him being who he was and saying whatever of the abundance of his Heart fell out of his Mouth. How he Died is terrible and shouldn't have happened or be Celebrated either, yet, it doesn't excuse how he Lived. If we're making Saints now out of Hate filled Lives, it's perverted Sainthood considerably. And we can still have Empathy and Compassion for those sincerely Grieving for their Loss of him. Grief is a terrible Space to have to Hold and move thru for any of us, I always have compassion and empathy for those suffering Grief and Loss. He himself said Empathy was not something he wanted to have, and, some people don't have any and never will.
Nor do they have Compassion for their Fellow Humans, or Love and Mercy extended towards them. It's just how they ARE, and, they live among us Being that way. We've all known and seen folks like that. I don't choose to become close to anyone like that since I find it abhorrent and toxic, it's infectious, like a disease, to be projecting Hate outwards and having it consume you internally. I Pity those with such a Tortured Soul that they are so Hateful. Nothing Good ever comes of it, nothing Good ever will. But, each person chooses their own Path to be on in this Journey of Life, and how they choose to be is quite the mixed bag, isn't it? And Crimes are committed every Second of every Day and either it's all Wrong, or, it isn't. Either you Believe in Free Speech for all, or you don't Believe in Free Speech at all. We seem to be moving towards Selective Outrage in America more every day tho'.
I'm going to be going to an Event Today and enjoying my Day, I won't be attending a Memorial for someone I neither knew, and certainly didn't agree with or approve of anything he had to say in Life. Those Mourning him have my condolences tho', I've Mourned my own Losses and it's hard, it never gets easier. His Wife will be a Widow and his Children will be without their Dad, his Parents will be without their Son, any Siblings will be without their Brother, that's terrible for their Family and a Profound Loss that any decent Human Being should recognize. When your Loved one is a Murder Victim it is different than other kinds of Losses, it just is. And there should be Justice for that Family and the Victim of the Crime, period. There should be Justice for EVERY Victim, Living or Deceased, period. Justice shouldn't be Selective either, yet, it often is, isn't it?
LATER: So, the Man is now all Vaxxed up, he also needed the RSV Shot as well as his COVID, so he's gonna have Two sore Arms too. We did some Environmental Cleanup while waiting for the Pharmacy to Open and his Appointment. Then we went over to "Studio 108 Collective" and got Good News from my Industry Friend Nancy, the Store isn't Closing. It's just that Twi of the Vendors, our Friends Sharon, her Husband Beau and our Friend Joey, were leaving, so, they left this Month. The Shop has new Vendors, will remain Open and have another Brand/Name joining them, some are already moved in, some are moving in still. I'm glad to hear that and my Friends Shelly and Kendra will still have their Spaces there too, as well as Nancy.
I bought an 1800's French Child's Mannequin with Cast Iron Button Up Boots, from Nancy, at a ridiculously low Price, my favorite Score of the whole Month!!! Then we went over to Nan's Antique Mall nextdoor and I got Two Old Canning Jars with Zinc & Milk Glass Lid, the other with Zinc and Fancy Glass Lid, one filled with Vintage Jewelry and the other is filled with Vintage Marbles. And a Creepy little 1940's Doll for Five Bucks that has a total Cloth Body and Rubber Head, making it a great Halloween Prop. We went out to eat at "5 & Diner" to have their Meatloaf Dinner as a late Lunch, it's Sublime, everything they have is Homemade. And the Diner is in an Old Airstream and 50's Diner Atmosphere, we Love going there, so Nostalgic and how Diners used to be back in Da Day.
It also comes with delish Garlic Toast which they were still Toasting for us when I took the Pix and hadn't come to the Table yet. Their fresh Strawberry Lemonade is fantastic too. After Lunch we went to "Sweet Salvage" for the final Day of their Halloween Themed Event "Wicked Faire". I bought an 1800's Book which has a Gilded Cover with Beautiful Graphics but the reason I bought it was Comical, I misread what the Cover said and see if you do too. Once you see it as I Read it, you can't Unsee it, that's all I'm gonna say and everyone there was cracking up about it... I think it's done on Purpose and was meant to be Subliminal?! The Spacing isn't Good to Read it Right IMO, tho', many others did Read it Right, so, perhaps it's just where MY Mind goes?
Honestly I'm reading it as "The Penis is mightier than the Sword" and so I'm thinking, WTF is this Old Book about, and I opens it up looking for the Illustrations. Saw they were Normal, so I go back to the Cover to Re-Read it again and go, OMG, it says, "The PEN IS mightier than the Sword!" *Bwahahahaha* I know, I know, my Mind is a Scary Place and goes to some Naughty places, clearly! *Winks* Anyway, we had a lot of Fun and a lot of Laughs. They'd had a good Show and Sold a lot, I got some more Blog Fodder Imagery and glad we got to go to the Halloween Themed Event Twice. Now, all of Halloween Events/Shows is a Wrap tho'... Boo Hoo. But, I'm now watching a "Halloween Baking Championship" Marathon.
I was so Tired from our very full day tho' that I was having staying Awake and it was only 6:00 p.m.! So, The Daughter had to make me a large Caramel Iced Cappuccino to try to keep me woke up and not taking a Nap I wouldn't wake up from. *LOL* I think in part I was this Tired coz my Arms had hurt from my Shots all Night, keeping me Awake, and now the Pain is easing up. I'd taken a Tylenol which had helped and I kept moving all day so I wouldn't seize up and savor my Arms too much coz they were Sore. The Man will probably be Sore now coz he just had his Shots this Morning. We Teased him about the Pharmacists giving him a Treat for getting his Shots, I didn't get a Treat for getting mine! *LOL*
He got a Bag of Flavored Popcorn and his $10 Coupon. I used my $10 Off Coupon to buy some Toilet Paper in a Mega Roll Package, and they also had BOGO Free on some Collagen Gummi Vitamins for Women, so I got my couple of those, quite a Deal! The Gummi's are actually so tasty and shaped like little O-Rings in a Berry Flavoring with a Sugary Coating, they'll be nice to take each Morning for a Skin, Hair and Nail Supplement. My Skin and Nails aren't too bad for my Age. But I know I've got the Old Lady Thinning Hair going on and my Dreadlocks look Healthy, but, can't remedy all of the Hair Thinning Aging Thing going on mostly at the Top of my Head and Front Hairline, without some Supplements. I got myself some Magnetic Eyelashes too, coz, Damn, my once long Natural Eyelashes got short & stubby, practically invisible now!
I'm overdosing you on Great-Grandkids and their Mom, our Oldest Granddaughter back East, who took the whole Family to the Pumpkin Patch and Farm there in Pittsburgh. Looks like a great time was had by all and thankfully she was pathologically picture taking and even got in Front of the Lens herself a couple times and let Hubby take a couple, then they had a Group Family Pix taken by somebody else. I just Love, Love, Love getting a slew of Pixs from all the Kiddos, Grandkids and Great-Grandkids. They know I Save them to Photo Archives, coz, I doubt any of the Youngsters do, they keep them in some Cloud or something? *LOL* They do take exceptional Photos tho', Cameras, especially on everyone's more expensive Phones, are as good as Professional Photographers Cameras used to be. I got a Cheap Phone so mine are mediocre and of coarse I still use an Old School Point and Shoot Camera mostly.
Princess T spent the whole Day with Matthew and Timmy, Matthew came down from NAU to spend Time with her for her Birthday, which, in Real Time is Tomorrow, the 22nd. This is the very last Day of her being a Teenager! She was exhausted and since The Man and I were out and about all Day I never saw her before she left and only saw her in her Robe when she got back to show me her Haul. Her Gay Boy Posse had taken her to some Arcade place where they Won her a slew of Prizes, some oversized, some Anime, some cute Smalls, they must be exceptional at those Games!!! I took one Pix of her with the largest of the Haul. She said afterwards they took her to "Rice Paper" for Dinner, she Loves that Restaurant Downtown, Vietnamese Gourmet Cuisine.
I'm Guessing ON her Birthday her Boyfriend is spending the Day with her and indulging her. Then her Mom and Mando want to take her out where ever she wants to go, they've been doing Work helping Friends Move and Clean/Declutter for a Big Move, to earn the Money. They got given a lot of nice things too that their Friends didn't wanna bother taking with them when they Move... expensive Household items mostly, things we can really use, most still in their Original Boxes and barely used. I don't know what her Uncle is doing for her, he'll probably give her Cash, always the Right Size and Right Color. *Winks and Smiles* Her Brother never made it back to Arizona for her Birthday like he said he was going to, so I don't know what's going on there in New Mexico? But, everything has been delayed so many times now, I'm not surprised. He goes Off Grid a LOT with the Schizophrenia and which Alter of his is Dominant, we never really know for sure?
She wasn't REALLY expecting him to be here for her Birthday, even tho' he'd said he would be. I was on the Fence about, would he, or wouldn't he? I know things there have unraveled considerably, so I do expect at some point he'll come back to Arizona when it's possible. I think finances is the big issue, and logistics, since, The Niece in Oklahoma was originally gonna go get him and Drive a U-Haul Back, since, he can never drive due to the extent of his illness and hallucinations from his Serious Mental Illness. But, she lost her good Job and so things for her have been so chaotic and economically impossible now, we understand. He can't Work and has to rely on Allen, and right now Allen is not reliable or cooperative, so, splitsville for them has been less than amicable, which, was expected. There's not a Snowball's Chance in Hell for a reconciliation, it got very Ugly and actually Unsafe.
It's always difficult when any Loved Ones have a Breakup, I try not to get deeply involved, it's their decision to make. I just want everyone to be Okay and go their separate ways if it isn't Salvageable, and especially if it's gotten Ugly and/or Unsafe. We had One Granddaughter go thru her Divorce last Year, and is now Raising her Two Kiddos as a Single Parent and it's still very hard and a lot. At least the Grandson and his Husband have no Children, I'm very glad The Young Prince told Allen that Adoption was out of the Question. He was the more practical and Aware one that with both of them having Mental Health Diagnosis, Allen is Bipolar and Autistic, he also has Anger Management Issues, and The Young Prince is a Paranoid Schizophrnic and has Dissociative Identity Di8sorder, so they would not be capable of appropriate Parenting and I seriously doubt could have qualified to Adopt, but, you never know.
The Young Prince doesn't even LIKE most Children and said he's Glad he's not a Breeder. *LOL* He Adores his Little Brother and Sister and always did well Babysitting for them, they Adored him and Allen, but he said a brief Babysitting gig for Siblings, is different than the Raising of any Child. He'd often help with Princess T and his Grandpa when he was growing up and still living here, he can actually be very Responsible, within reason, and has a Big Heart for Loved Ones. He just knows he couldn't Raise a Child any more than his Mom could, becoz they have similar diagnosis and she was deemed too Unwell to Raise her Children. That was an accurate assessment and we all knew it, she was even Aware of it, so voluntarily gave them up to Family to Raise, knowing that was in their Best Interest and the most Loving thing to do. It was hard for her and still is, tho' she has a good relationship with all Five of her Children, who Dearly Love her, even tho' she could not Raise them and us Grandparents did.
Anyway, The Young Prince would be happier back in Arizona around Family and Lifelong Friends, who Love and Support him unconditionally. Especially now he knows he cannot Salvage his Marriage. He HATES Clovis, New Mexico, for a slew of legitimate reasons. And Allen really wants to return to Texas, where he grew up and all his Family still live, and The Young Prince HATES Texas and said it's even more unsafe for someone like him than New Mexico is and has been. Allen can "Pass" for being a very Masculine Straight Man if he wants to, The Young Prince ain't flying under anyone's Gaydar and has looked Transgender his entire Life, most people mistake him as a Female all the time, even when he's not Presenting as one. And, most people feel some kind of way when they realize, ooops, that is a biological Male!!! He doesn't want to become a Female, he feels Gender Fluid actually and some of his Alters are distinctly Male, some Female.

You never really know which Young Prince or Queen you're gonna get? His Mom's Alters are all Female, so, no less confusing, each D.I.D. persona is a COMPLETE different Person and that's obvious to anyone really quickly, even if you don't understand the Disorder of Dissociative Identity Disorder, which, used to be called Multiple Personality Disorder Years ago. It is usually Trauma related and each of them suffered significant Trauma in Life that fractured their Personalities... and, the Paranoid Schizophrenia just Magnifies and complicates things all the more, a lot of Mental Torment going on constantly and no Cure for any of it. If you don't know someone with this Diagnosis, it can be difficult to have Relationship becoz it cannot be a "Regular" one, and you have to be Okay with that difference.

I'm watching "The Road To Halloween Wars" right now, to see who they pick for this Season's Contestants of Pumpkin Carvers, Cake Artists, and Sugar Artists, so much Ahhhmazing Talent! I would have a difficult time choosing! The level of Talent keeps getting better and better every Season, as more people get into the Business and perfect the Art Forms. Edible Art now is Big Business and how far the Art Forms have come is unbelievable, so these Competitions are so Fun to watch every Season and it's one of my all time Favorite Shows that I never wanna miss a single Episode of. So, I'm glad The Daughter gave me that Iced Coffee so that I am more wide Awake now, coz it comes on at 8:00 p.m. Arizona Time and I was already feeling Sleepy by 6:00 p.m.. I know, I'm turning into a Toddler with my Sleep Schedule, aren't I? *LMAO*

The Season Premier of "Halloween Wars" will be on next, so then we'll know who all the Contestants are for all the Teams. I remember one Year they did away with the Pumpkin Carvers and it just wasn't the same, so I'm glad they brought that back. Even tho' they have a Christmas Wars, I don't enjoy it as much coz there are no Pumpkins being Carved, just Cake and Sugar Artists, I NEED all Three! I do enjoy the Ritual of a Favorite Weekly Seasonal Show to look forward to, especially leading up to and during Halloween. I won't even accept Shifts that might conflict with watching my Shows. *Smiles* Now that all the Events are a Wrap, it's the Shows now that will be my focus. Even if my Favorite Teams don't Win, it's Okay, Judging is totally Subjective IMO, if you had different Judges for any Competition you may get totally different Results in who Wins.

Pumpkins this Season are way more expensive than they've ever been so I'm only having the one that lasted from last Year that is Real, the rest will be faux. I like the Pumpkin Offerings I've seen, but I won't pay almost Twelve Bucks for a Pumpkin that last Year was only $4.99-$6.00 tops. I don't know why they're double the price this Year, perhaps they're not grown here and have been Imported so have Tariff Taxes? A lot of America's Produce does come from Mexico and the Tariff's on Mexico, one of our best Trade Partners, is punitive and ridiculously high. I don't understand why this Administration is punishing our best Trade Partners and Allies while sucking up to Russia and our known Enemies?

Anyway, back to the fluff of "Halloween Baking Championships", the level of Talent is shown for each Contestant before they Compete, and in their own Shops & Homes they're exemplary and so Talented. Under pressure and time constraints, just about all of them choked and their product went to shit, which, must be embarrassing as Hell on National TV, especially if you own a Shop and have a Reputation to uphold. And yet, for TV, I couldn't help it, the hilarity of everything going to shit was some Dark Comedy and I had Tears rolling down my Face and Laughed so hard. I know, I shouldn't, it's humiliating for each of them to have everything that can go Wrong, go terribly Wrong... but when stuff goes absolutely Sideways and to shit, I always find myself Laughing hysterically. The Kiddos all tell me, "Mom/Gramma, Stop it!", but, I can't help it. I did it when the VA Home Nurse was here and all of The Man's Medications were Cocked Up!

I had the Home Nurse Laughing so hard about it, coz, shit, The Man had hidden fucking Mystery Pills, some he only has One of from Years ago, like the one Xanex, and just... WHY?!?! Why Honey, would you tuck that in the fucking Weekly Pill dispenser randomly on THE DAY the Home Nurse is coming to evaluation our Situation?! *Bwahahahaha* I couldn't stop Laughing, the Daughter is telling me to Stop it while she's Laughing hysterically coz she can't stifle it. The Son is saying, "It's Expired Dad!", and with that being the Inside Joke of what Grandson Allen always said, he was Obsessed about things being Expired... that just made us Laugh all the more! By then The Young Nurse is Laughing so hard and saying we can make even a tough Situation Humorous, she knows how hard it is when someone has Brain Damage that you're trying to Care for and cannot Predict what they'll do or say!?

So, watching those Bakers all Choke was similarly hilarious, you know they're usually quite competent people with Talent for what they're doing. Yet, under the pressure and scrutiny of being evaluated, everything went spectacularly to shit! *LMAOROTF, I have a definite Point of Reference, but, with Caregiving instead of Baking, LOL* This can happen with The Man every time you go to a Doctor's Office, there is no telling what he might say that is Off the Wall or just simply he Makes Up and actually Believes? And, I guess that's Typical, but, you never really get used to it when you're there at an Appointment with his Doctors and, well, it can be so embarrassing and you're mortified, coz, you Hope it isn't reflecting badly on you being able to continue to be his Caregiver? Not that anyone would take on the responsibility mind you... it's not as if an Unpaid Caregiver would get Fired, you're a Bargain to the State and the Government, and they have no Placement for him... but... still, I try very hard to do everything Right and for his Benefit.

I angled the Pix so you can't see her actual Name on the Card, but, The Daughter did it in Pink Calligraphy. And, in Real Time Tomorrow she won't be a Teenager anymore! Wow how Time just flies like that... and she Blossomed into a Fine Young Woman before our very Eyes!!!
