In a few Minutes I'm leaving to get my Crown installed and have the temp one taken out. LATER: That went well, new Crown fit fine and feels good. I went to do Environmental Cleanup afterwards, the Rivers are running fast and high, I gleaned 21 lbs. of Aluminum and traded it in, plus got my extra $10 for a full frequent Customer Punch Card. It's 100 degrees and humid so I didn't stay out too long, when it's sticky Hot your Energy gets drained quicker than a Dry Heat. I felt like I'd been in the Steam Sauna at The Gym. *LOL* I met a Young Twenty-Something Environmentalist named Ricky, he just picks up all Trash along the Nature Preserve and Rivers since he goes Fishing a lot, but he doesn't Recycle anything so gave me all the Cans out of what he'd cleaned up Today. He and a Friend would be going Fishing afterwards coz his Trunk was full of bagged Trash now and that's all he can do daily. I told him I'm glad to see some Young Environmentally Conscious Volunteers like himself. He was a nice looking Stud Muffin of a Young Man, I'd say around 23 or so, with Dark Hair and Eyes, a Beard and Mustache.
The Man came with me and wanted to, but never got out of the Truck, some days he's like that, won't engage in whatever we're doing. But I think just driving and watching the World go by is Enough for him now. I heard that Jay Leno does that now with his Wife who has Dementia, just takes her on Rides, and perhaps that is Enough at some juncture when they're afflicted with the Disease as it progresses? He was in good Spirits and seemed to enjoy the Outing and I ensured he had a Cold Drink and Windows all down to catch Breezes and get Fresh Air and Sunshine. I try to always have him Home well before Sundown now, so anytime before 2:00 p.m. he's doing okay, after that it's downhill with the Sundowners Symptoms. He's crashing around with his Walker now and Sighing heavily, so I can tell he's getting a bit irritable and easily annoyed now and it's only 1:00 p.m.. Once he settles into his Programs and Routine he'll be Fine.
The Son seems to be doing okay with not Drinking, no ill effects thus far, which is a relief, I was worried there might be with having to quit Cold Turkey in order to be able to stay here. Sober he's never any problem and is a really good person. I finished a load of Laundry so am all caught up on basic Housekeeping and the Yard Work too. I never did complete the Dining Room Project but got about 1/4 of it done. I'm pacing myself with it coz I got some other things done instead that needed more immediate attention and those are all done now. I've got to take that Bronze Numbered Statue and some Silver in on Friday to Sell to my Vendor Friend Richard at the Antique Mall. Big Kenny missed his chance when he never called to arrange coming to look at it and I can Sell it for more myself anyway, so, no harm no foul. I only agreed coz he'd been bugging me for Months if I'd let him come over to Buy some more things. I've got plenty of other Industry Friends who will if he won't and he knows this.
I'm Guessing this Stud Muffin must have Lost a Bet? *LOL and Winks* Of coarse, in the City, you see Sights like this all of the time, so, mebbe his Freak Flag is just Flying High, you never know? *Bwahahaha* It is a Head Turner, I'll give him that, and he's built Well, with a Physique like that I doubt anyone will pick on him irregardless of how he dresses, I'd pity the Fool who might try to. *Winks* I Photographed some of the Pumpkins at our nearby "Sprouts" Today when I went to pick up a Gyro Kit and a Pizza Kit, they had both on Sale and they make a nice Meal that is Pre-Prepped with all the ingredients of Fresh Supplies, which saves Time preparing the Meal. They had the Assorted Fresh Muffins on Sale too so I got an 8-Pac of them with about 5 different flavors of Muffins. With it still being over 100 I don't like to heat up the Kitchen for long, so quicker Meals that usually we have for Summer are rolling into Autumn now that is hasn't really Cooled down much at all yet.
And he's getting Applause and Cheers from some of his most debased Cult Base, like there in Nebraska when he suggested that Taking out Los Angeles and San Diego would be Okay!!! So some of the MAGAts would be Okay if Millions of their Countrymen were Murdered, let that also sink in fully! That's over 13 MILLION AMERICAN PEOPLE that this President and some of his Base suggested would be Acceptable to Wipe Out and he'd be Fine with and they'd be Fine with!!! Let that just sink in, deeply!!! Hitler Murdered around 17 Million. Pol Pot Murdered 2.2 Million. And certainly they had their Groupies too that were Okay with what they did, and fully Supported it too, as heinous and Evil as it was. So, in case you Imagined all Americans Care about other Americans, you'd be Wrong, there's a segment that don't, not at all, and would be perfectly Okay with Americans being Murdered. I have no Words for what kind of Evil and Hatred lurks in the Hearts of People like that!!! But, they're Dangerous, and can be Weaponized by equally Hateful Evil Demented Leaders, that I do know.
I visited a New Blog and had tried to leave a Comment but found that it was restricted to "Team Members Only"! First time I ever heard of that in all my Years of Blogging... didn't know there were Teams! *LOL and Shrugs* I'm not one to Join Teams, so, I just Moved On. *Ha ha ha* There were no Comments on that Blog so I would guess that's why? Apparently whoever is on The Team has nothing to say or isn't interactive??? *Smiles* Anyway, I like to still try to find some New Blogs to visit and check out, so it doesn't discourage me from mostly just being a Lurker and Dear Reader, without Commenting hardly at all on most. I Comment more on Blogs I've developed some Relationship with the Bloggers. But, I Confess I'm not much of a Reader, I'm more of a Writer. It's hard for me to get thru even a Good Book unless you count those with loads of Pictures? *LOL and Winks* So, sometimes getting thru Posts is hard for me too, my ADHD kicks in badly and I lose Focus. By the time I finish Reading even an excellent Post, I Forget what I might have wanted to say in a Comment!!! Dammit!!! *Le Sigh*

When I went to SAVERS to pick up the Granddaughter from Work they had a good quality New Old Stock Fashion Wig that I bought for one of the Skeletons on the Front Porch for only Three Bucks, now most of them have Wigs. And they had some Vintage MAD Magazines so I picked up all of them that they had from the 1970's onwards to the early 2000's... coz they were less than a Dollar each with my Discount. The one is a 1970's Special Edition more like a Soft Cover Book and Online Sells for over $35 to $65! I got a "Where Women Create" Magazine that I don't have for only less than a Dollar too after Discount, Retail they're over $14. I got a large Tupperware Bowl with Lid for $4 that Online Sells for $36, it's a Keeper tho' coz I could use it and it's an Older Tupperware piece in that almost see-thru Off White Tupperware used to make before they went to more Solid Colors. I got a Ltd. Edition POP Figure of a Red Jafar Devil Genie that I'm Keeping for Halloween Display, New Old Stock, for only $3... Online he also Sells for a lot.
I also got Two 100-Boxed Pacs of various Scented Incense Cones for $3 each, also New Old Stock. Fragrances of Sandalwood, Lily, Lavender & Rose. Online I've been looking at the Events Scheduled for this Month and Honestly, I'm Underwhelmed, they're scheduled for Mid-October and yet no longer a hint of Halloween and very Pedestrian Autumn Decor that looks like Crate & Barrel. So, I'm not even sure I'll bother going? Gas is expensive and if it's gonna Bore me I'd rather take a Hard Pass. By the time this Post Publishes it will be past the Dates of them, and I may have... or may not have... attended any of them. Disappointed actually, had higher expectations. Anyway, whatever... mebbe Attendance dropping will make them consider that taking advantage fully of a major Holiday and it's Theme and Vibe is a better direction to go? And Silly really they didn't cover Sneak Peeks of the Halloween Event which was Awesome and always Popular, but have covered Sneak Peeks of this more Boring Theme instead that underwhelms via the Imagery Posted... {shakes Head}.
I think I've gone everywhere that does have a Halloween Theme and Merch. So I guess the rest of October will be underwhelming in what Retail is offering for the upcoming Holiday? Bummer. At least my TV Shows are Holiday Friendly right now so I'll sit Home instead and watch those. *Winks* I did tweak some of our Front Porch Halloween Decorating a bit more, adding a few things to the Props. And, Oh, I got a Bagged Lot of New Old Stock Halloween Hand-Out Toys to give out to Trick-Or-Treaters from SAVERS too, for only $2, so I have plenty now of a nice variety of things the Kiddos should really like to choose from Halloween Night. It included some of the Squishies the Kiddos Love right now of Black Cat Heads and Jack O'Lantern Squishies a Dozen of those, Black Widow Spider Rings, and Ghostly Pencil Toppers.
I have enuf Toys and Candy now that I think I'll let each Kid choose 5 items of their Choice. Not many folks hand out Candy in our area and with Acreages we're further apart and not well lit like Residential Subdivisions, so Kids coming get less for their efforts. We try to always make it worthwhile for coming. Coz we Love to get the Kiddies in Costumes. And they like that we Decorate Extensively, Dress Up in Costumes too, have a Fire Pit Burning, and always hand out more than most Homes do. We go all out for Halloween and I never regret doing so, we have a Good Time and Kids coming to our Home Trick-Or-Treating do too and say ours is their Favorite of the Night, which is flattering. Their Adults and even Teens coming say the same thing and Compliment us on it all.
I don't understand the folks who refuse to hand out Candy Halloween Night to Kids and use their Religious Demonic Panic Holdover from the Nineties as their Reasoning not to. How is handing out Candy to Local Kids remotely Demonic, I ask you? *Huge Dramatic Eye Roll of how Lame that Excuse is!* Yet many of the same Fundie Religious folks Voted In an actual Evil Devil to our White House, and Worship him, go figure! The Hypocrisy drips! I'm sure Satan actually rejoices at such obvious Extreme Religious Hypocrites and God Cringes. *I just Shrugs* Anyway, I don't know how many will be handing out Candy on our Street, which is the only one that is lit by Street Lights in all of Glenarm Farms Community and faces a Main Road too. There are a scant few Mini Farms that face 107th Avenue and have Street Lighting that are part of our Community... the rest are shrouded in inky Jet Black Darkness after the Sun goes down.
You literally can't see your Hand in front of your Face, so it's too Scary for a lot of Kiddos and with poor Lighting, could be dangerous too. Irrigation Ditches, sometimes filled with Water they could fall into, and Cars might not see them in time. We know what happened to Mando after Dark on his Bike in a Dark Mini Farms Community. Above is The Niece in Texas that took this Pix just before going in for her Cancer Surgery on October 1st, she hasn't been able to tell me yet how it went so I'm concerned. I would have thought by now to have heard something, from her, if not from her Family. But, the Family is very dysfunctional and fractured so I didn't expect her Siblings to notify me of anything on her behalf and will wait to hear from her directly. I'm Worried about her coz it's the same kind of Cancer that her Mom recently succumbed to becoz it wasn't caught in time.
I'm praying that for The Niece it was coz she's a Young Mom with Three Kids not yet Grown and the Husband, who I had thought was Devoted to her and the Kids, has started Acting the Fool once her Mom was Dying and then moreso after she got Sick too and they began having trouble with their Schizophrenic Oldest Daughter whose 15 now. This seems to be a Pattern with some Modern Men, when Life gets tough they Tap the Fuck Out and Bail, so don't Man Up!!! Leaving the Women to carry the Load. The Niece is a Strong Woman and Fearless, but it's just a LOT. And I'm disgusted with her Husband, I always thought he was a Good Guy, and they have been Married over 15 Years, so perhaps is having some Manopause Midlife Crisis or something?! I don't know if they'll work things out or end up Divorced? If he's willing to Lose his Family, that's on him. She's kept herself looking Beautiful and Sexy, so she could easily replace him, coz he got Fat and out of Shape, he isn't as Handsome as he used to be... but while she has been Faithful, he has apparently not. I Hate to hear of Families I Care about in Crisis and going thru so much.
I put the New Wig on one of the Skeletons and put a Vintage Meister Brau Beer Can with a Rattlesnake Cozy on it in it's Lap. *LOL* I just realized the New Wig's Color matches the Spider's Hair too perfectly! *Bwahahahaha* The Son is making Gyros with the Kit I got, we were gonna make the Pizza Kit but I don't have Oil Spray for the Cookie Sheet and if you use Olive Oil instead you risk it burning the bottom of the Pizza when it gets too Hot. So Tomorrow I gotta pick up some PAM Spray, we could use it anyway for Baking and stuff. I just rarely buy or use Spray Can Oils. I need Sodas so I might just go Tonight and pick it up. I don't mind Grocery Shopping, I rather enjoy it actually. LATER: Got it Done.
AND the Endorsed Check for Roof Repairs FINALLY came back from our Mortgage Company so I can Cash that too. It's a small Check and I still have to ask our Contractor how much I have to Front him to begin and complete Repairs. The Insurance Company is holding onto the bulk of the Claim Money until it's completely Done and Inspected by them AND a Mortgage Company Representative... then the balance will be sent to us to then send to fucking Ohio for Endorsement by the Mortgage Company again... so I'm expecting this could take damned near til the End of the Year to pay out? I'm completely upset and angry about the huge delays in receiving Claim Payments and delaying even starting Replacement of a damaged Roof we have Insured. Putting us at further risk or more Loss. We pay our Premiums on time and this is the only Claim we've ever had on all Properties we've ever Owned and I think the Process is convoluted to an extreme and the Deductibles they've now imposed are ridiculously high and most of the cost! Which negates even having Insurance IMO if you're still stuck with Thousands of Dollars per Claim and Incident!
And now to address the Post Title Hook of the Barbarism continuing of this Cabal of Vulgarians in our White House. I'm hearing now that Hegseth is promoting Televised Public Executions... specifically someone being Executed by Firing Squad that they will Televise apparently!!! Jesus, his Appetite for Blood Lust knows no bounds, does it? It's Celebrating being Barbaric and I don't know that the Appetite exists for most decent Americans to view someone being Executed on National TV, that's what Terrorists generally do. It's quite Medieval and it seems like we're regressing backwards in Time to more Barbaric Practices under this Regime, than being Progressive and having even Basic Humanity exhibited to the World. America was viewed by the World as Great becoz we were mostly Good, when we ceased being Good is when we cease being Great IMO.
Hopefully they don't Cock Up this Execution like they did with that Female they unsuccessfully tried to Execute not once, but TWICE!!! WTF?! And now we're spending Taxpayer's Money to Save her Life and keep her Alive so they can try again to Kill her?!? After she's already been on Death Row for Decades at Taxpayer Expense! Just WTF?!? Ridiculously Ludicrously Barbaric IMO. The whole Death Penalty and how it's executed poorly or expediently after being the Verdict is controversial at best, at worst, it's no deterrent whatsoever statistically to prevent vicious Crimes, so it's effectiveness is questionable as a practice. I personally feel quite conflicted about such things and about Society seeming to have way too much Blood Lust and Violent tendencies that match some of what these Criminals have done to deserve the Penalty. That said, locking someone up for an entire Lifetime is of great expense to the American People and I'd rather that Money be spent on Non-Criminals in Need, instead of Death Row Inmates or those Serving Life Imprisonment who will never get out due to the severity of their Crimes. Conflicted... clearly.
I don't even think Sex Offenders should ever be released becoz they will re-offend, it's not a matter of IF, just WHEN? And we have one as President whose never been Incarcerated for being an adjudicated Serial Sex Offender and Pedophile, which disgusts me. Just being Rich enuf to Pay Off his Victims is not Justice. Being Immune from Prosecution for all of his Serious Laundry List of Crimes is certainly not Justice. But, at 80 Years Old and in his clearly Cognitively impaired Condition, even if he weren't President, he'd never be competent to stand Trial. He's definitely not competent to be President... yet, here we still are!!! Why it's even Debatable, considered Normal by any stretch of the Imagination, or even remotely Acceptable, is a completely Mystery to me actually!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no Words really to Explain any of it... it's a National Disgrace and a complete Embarrassment on the World Stage and on Display Daily as to how completely unraveled and Mental America has become in choosing our Leadership!!! This IS clearly Who we are now or he wouldn't even have had a First Term, let alone a Second one!!! And that's what is most Disturbing, coz he is who he's always been, no Changes and no Surprises there since the 1970's!!! Ask any New Yorker. His Track Record speaks loudly of who he's always been and will always be. I remember in 2016 thinking, surely this must be some kind of Publicity Stunt or Joke that this Guy is even seriously being considered by anyone!!! I admit I gave more Credit to American Voters being adequately Informed, having a more intact Moral Compass, and the Ability to be more Discerning than I should have. It was and still is a Wakeup Call that many are simply NOT and perhaps never will be!!! And they too, live among us and we must attempt to co-exist with!!!
We have a damned Cricket that somehow got into our Master Bathroom and I've been unable to locate it, and it Chirps all Night!!! How long does it take for a Cricket to Starve or exist without Water and Die? Google says that a House Cricket can last 50-60 Days... and even 12-15 Days without Food and Water... ugh!!! I was looking at Household ways to trap and kill it, a Molasses Jar seems to be suggested, but I wonder if Honey would work too? I don't have Molasses, but I do have Honey. And Yes, it says that would Trap and Kill the damned thing so I am gonna set the Trap Tonight before it's Chirping drives me Mad! The Man seems oblivious, but he's also very hard of Hearing. I just set the Trap in a small Styrofoam Cup with a Teaspoon of very Sticky Honey and will see what happens? It did quit Chirping so, perhaps it won't take long for it to take the Bait and be disposed of? We've had Insect populations boom due to all the Rains... Mosquitoes too and in Arizona they often carry West Nile Virus, which is pretty Serious. I mustn't taste good coz I rarely get bitten, but The Son and The Niece are pretty tasty on all accounts. *LOL* Mebbe I'm too Salty? *Winks*
