This won't Publish 'til around the 25th and in Real Time it's the 6th, so you can see how far ahead I am now, I feel quite accomplished. *LOL* My Crown came in early so in the Morning I go in to get the Temporary One off and the Real One put on. I got The Man dressed and ready for his VA Nurse Visit this Morning. He likes when Nurse Remi comes, it gives him a pleasant exchange and she skillfully assesses his Cognitive abilities while visiting with him in a casual social way that doesn't seem like she is. She thinks he's holding up well with what we're doing to try to slow down the progression of the Dementia, which is encouraging for me that I'm doing all the Right things to help him keep his Mind as intact as possible. Physically he's doing really good, making great strides in all his Numbers, sometimes they're better than my Numbers. *LOL* Nurse Remi reminds me it's coz he doesn't have all the responsibility or stressors of taking Care of everyone and everything. I know that's often to my detriment, the strain of it all takes a Toll.
Anyway, Life for the most part is Good tho' and I'm enjoying it. The Highs have been better than the Lows, which Balances things out and helps me to stay Centered and staying with my Wheels On The Rails. *Winks* The Son is not Drinking, as agreed upon, and I really do Pray he can maintain so that I don't have to tell him to make other Living Arrangements or risk being Homeless and losing his Job. Sober he's a responsible and very Safe person, but the Drinking was out of Control and he was becoming Unsafe, both to himself and others, he knows this, and knows he must get Sober if he doesn't want to Bottom Out and have Life completely unravel again for not only him, but everyone who Cares about and Loves him.
His Boss really doesn't wanna lose him, she's Grooming him for Management and I think he's a definite Asset to their Company and their Store. He's shown himself to be invaluable early on. And he really likes Working there so looks forward to going in every day. He likes the repetitiveness of what he's doing, Autistics thrive on Repetition and their Routine. And nobody wants him to Fail, we all want for him to Succeed and he knows this. We got Notification from AHCCCS that Medicaid Recipients, which, all Four Kiddos are, now are going to Federally be required to re-qualify every 6 Months now and have Work Requirements to even be Covered. Unless it is established they cannot Work at all due to extent of Disability. I think that's why The Daughter's Medicaid Provider is referring her to a Program that helps with SSI Advocacy, qualifications and acceptance. This fucking Regime is being Cruel and lacking any Compassion to all Marginalized and the Disabled in Society. They are dumping Millions of Americans off all Medical Coverage. They do not Care about the Health and Well Being of the American People.
Anyway, so I don't know for how much longer any of the Kiddos will even have Medical Coverage come first of the Year when it's all implemented with the new Federal Requirements? Two of them only have part time Minimum Wage Jobs and can't have access to Employer Coverage. Two of them are Schizophrenics and can't be gainfully Employed even at Minimum Wage Jobs due to Employers not wanting that Liability of someone that unstable and potentially unsafe Working for them. But everyone in the Country should have Medical Coverage IMO, it's a basic Human Right to have access and ability to be provided Medical Care, Emergency Care and receive necessary Medications. It shouldn't be based on Ability to Pay exclusively. No other 1st World Developed and Prosperous Country has the restrictions we do to receiving Medical Care, some 3rd World Countries now even have National Health Programs. Mexico now has Free Healthcare.
Won't it be ironic if soon Mexico and Canada is flooded with Illegal Aliens from America becoz they are treating Human Beings better!? I foresee that happening, coz as it is, so many Seniors we know go to Mexico for all their Medical Needs, Dental Needs and Medications now. The Daughter said she always got more compassionate Care during the 20+ Years she lived in Mexico, as an Illegal American Immigrant! *Bwahahahhaa* She would just go back if America goes on the skids and all her Mexican National Friends there tell The Man and I that they would ensure we'd have a place if America goes completely to shit under this vile Administration. Also, it aids in early Voting, which we never wait 'til the last Minute to Vote and do so early every Election Cycle. Often I will receive our Ballots by Mail and then just take them in to a Drop Box Location rather than Mailing it back, still more convenient than standing in potential long Lines at the Polls when it's still well over 100 Degrees Outside and Polling Stations are switched around constantly and not always conveniently so in less affluent Neighborhoods.
Plus, then we don't have to Deal with any of their In-Person Polling Place Intimidation Tactics they will deploy to try to discourage Voters or make them Fearful of their Safety and Well Being. I don't know how much potential Violence and Intimidation will erupt, but I guarantee there will be some if you're not in a Deep Red State or living in a Rural Community they don't feel as Threatened by your Vote. But Urban Areas, Blue States, Purple State, and particularly what they like to Label Sanctuary Cities or Lib Sympathetic, you can bet Money on they will be trying to Suppress our Votes by any means possible that they can get away with. And we know they're getting away with damned near any Criminal Activities at this juncture, including Murdering and Kidnapping even Innocent American Citizens off our Streets... so... just be sure you have your Heads on the Swivel and stay Safe and stay Alive come November and then again in 2028.
I wouldn't be Surprised to see Signs like this one at our Polling Places, coz I think they will intentionally TRY to make it risky to go Vote and are already saying so in fact. Every Accusation they've made so far has been a Confession... it's their dependable "Tell". Anyway, we haven't gotten our Ballots yet but they will come by Mail. Maricopa County has been Targeted in the Past by this Administration becoz our Urban Voters tend to not be ReTrumplican Loyalists like Rural Arizona can sometimes be. Arizona has been a Traditionally Conservative State, which is Fine IF you're A TRUE Conservative, but MAGA is neither Conservative or Traditional Republican, they have become a perverse Cult of Radicals and Extremists or Religious Far Right Zealots pretending to be Conservatives, as if they don't understand the very definition of what Conservative even means.

I Loved this Vendor's Wigs and Stands Arted up like Drag Queens. The Price Point was quite reasonable. So, it was Tempting to Buy at least one for Inspiration that The Young Prince could utilize to Art Up some of my Mannequin Heads I allow him to Create his Art upon for Display. These were inexpensive Styrofoam Mannequin Hat/Wig Forms used. The Wigs were exceptional Creations and could be removed and Worn as Costume Accessories. I would think for Halloween that would be Perfect, or if you're in a Drag Show? *Smiles and Winks* The Man has been pretty restless waiting on Nurse Remi to arrive, so he's been quite animated. *Smiles* He really does look forward to her Visits and they've been quite beneficial to him even tho' the VA hasn't yet resumed his OT and PT Visits, which, I had thought they would, but haven't yet, and mebbe won't if they've had Budget Cuts again? He can do most of it at Home with my Supervision tho', I Paid Attention to what the Therapists had him doing for Occupational and Physical Therapy.
Now, getting him to DO it with me as an Audience or doing it with him, rather than some hunky Stud Muffin he's trying to impress or keep Pace with, is another Story. He didn't wanna be Shown Up or Outdone by some Youngster doing the Exercises along with him, so would try really hard to Show Off and Impress them to get their Praise that he's still a Bad Ass. *Winks* He doesn't feel the Need to Show Off for Yours Truly anymore. Once someone provokes me to where I Snap Mentally, I kinda Black Out and don't really have Memory of what happens after that or Care anymore who gets hurt, including myself, coz I don't give a fuck. And since I'm well over 65 now and Bruise spectacularly now and don't even Feel injuries hardly at all or know how I get them... anyone much Younger is Catching Serious Charges of Assaulting a Vulnerable Adult. So it wouldn't go Well for them either, even if they Win... and just humiliating if they Lose. Anyway, I'm contemplating whether to go get the Tire done and go to the Antique Mall AFTER picking Princess T up from Work so that I don't have to have any deadline to be back Home? I don't know how long foofing our Showroom and Locked Case may be or putting all that Inventory in that I spent last Night and this Morning Pricing? I got a lot Priced to try to find Placement for. And Nurse Remi seems to be running Late Today, which is unusual for her, she's very punctual usually. I haven't got any notifications of a Cancellation either, but there's a lot of Construction Roadwork going on everywhere which is delaying Traffic and causing Detours in some areas. They have the Main Road in front of our Home all tore up right now, but we have an Access Road directly in Front of our Properties that we use that runs parallel, so we avoid most of the Construction that way right now.
She arrived, his BP and Diabetic Reading was High, which, isn't Good. There is no particular reason each should be High, he's had Good Numbers for a few Months now, but it can and sometimes does Turn on a Dime, which is why he has Weekly visits to Monitor him closely. When his Health takes a Bad Turn it usually does so for no apparent reason, even if he's doing everything he should be. I've decided to wait and go get the Tire fixed and drop Inventory off AFTER I have to pick The Grandchild up from Work coz she usually gets off early on a Tuesday coz she goes in an Hour earlier that Day. I don't like to feel rushed when I have other stuff that needs to get done so that way I don't feel pressured to squeeze things in tightly together and have that added stress. The Son is Home from Work early, making a Pizza and said he'd look after his Dad and Feed him for me when I go do what I need to, so, I have coverage here at Home. With The Man's Numbers not being great I want him watched more closely than usual.
Below is the Medical Cadaver Training Skull I picked up for under Five Bucks at SAVERS, they'd marked it down half price, which was Surprising given Halloween Merch is Selling so well. Princess T put her Birthday Tiara on it that came with the Bouquet Rusty Bought for her. *LOL* I also got some Labubu Plush Toys and LaBabies Plush Toys, which are waning in Popularity now, and were always overpriced at Full Retail, so sometimes you do see them at Chazzas now and I can still Sell them at good Margins at the Antique Mall in my Locked Case. The Niece and I Priced a whole bunch more Pokemon Cards before she had to go to Work, so I have a lot of Fresh Inventory of those to go in to the Locked Case too. We were both looking them up on Google Lens which within Seconds not only gives you which Card they are and what they're worth, but if it's a Japanese Card it Translates what the Card says into English, which is also Helpful when Pricing them for Customers. I Scored a bunch of the Japanese Cards and the Hologram Specialty Cards. They are Selling really well.
I need them to Sell well since this Pay Period started out with Soft Sales for some reason. For Two Months now we've had Stronger Sales, and then, it just Flatlined. No rhyme or reason as to why since attendance is high but they're not necessarily Buying just coz they're there. Lots of people biding time, window shopping, being Looky Lous and not Consumers necessarily. With the Midterms coming up could be why some are skittish coz they're still very nervous about the Economy worsening and Political Chaos ensuing more than it already is. Every Morning you Wake Up thinking, well, what Crazy thing did he do NOW in the Middle of the Night?! That Instability and Erratic Unhinged Behavior makes folks nervous.
His latest Treasonous Statement at a Rally in some Deep Red State, he said it would be acceptable to let an Enemy Take Out Los Angeles and San Diego!!! *Gasp and OMG!* And the FuckMonkey MAGA Crowd was cheering and clapping for that, like they'd be okay Bombing or Nuking other Americans in our Country's Cities, OMG! That's about 11 Million Americans he claimed would be an "Acceptable Loss and Small Price to Pay"! An American sitting President advocating for Nuking American Cities is not only Treason, but scary Insanity! And I'm not so worried about an Adversary doing it, but that Lunatic and Drunken Warmonger Hegseth doing it and saying it was an Adversary!!! If there are any Voters in either of those Cities, if they'd still Vote for this Regime's Party, who would Sacrifice them and their Families and Neighbors by allowing Nuking their Cities, and say so on National TV, they aren't Normal or Sane either. My Tire got fixed but he said my Treads are getting to the point where I will have to replace all my Tires, which will be around $800+. *Le Sigh* And that's the least expensive ones for my Truck. I was able to get everything into Inventory and visit with some of my Vendor Friends at the Antique Mall while I waited for my Tires to be Aired Up and my one to be fixed that had a big Nail in it. The Mall had a lot of Shoppers, but very few Buyers, so Staff was bored and said Sales had been flat still. I had Sold some decent priced items, but my Sales aren't as Strong as they have been for the past couple Paydays. I mostly have been Selling Pokemon Cards, Specialty T-Shirts and Crafting Supplies. Even some Halloween is languishing longer than I expected it to, but, that might pick up shortly as Big Box Stores are running out of Halloween Merch prematurely? Some Vendors were telling me they're gonna already put Christmas Merch out.

And this is Why both Princess T and I are gravitating more towards what we know is an easy Turn and Selling easily now. I'd rather saturate our Rental Spaces with what is Hot at the moment and make more Money, I'm no Purist when it comes to Resale of whatever folks are Buying most of. *LOL* If you're not Making Money you're Losing Money, is my Mantra. And sure, I'd LIKE to be Selling certain things, but if the Buyers aren't there it's a waste of Time, Money and Effort to try to Sell it. I've got to remember that Thursday and Friday is when my Friend Richard is there and he wants to Buy any Silver items and Bronze Statuary I have, so I'm just gonna Sell it all to him and not even try to hawk it in my own Spaces, easy Cash Sale to other Vendors is preferable and I don't have to pay Commission or Overhead on it then. Richard is the kind of Vendor to not Care if something valuable sits in his Inventory a long time, coz he only Sells higher end pieces. So, if he has just a few Sales Annually he makes Bank coz his Merch is so expensive and has High End Value that Appeals to a certain Clientele. He's got Merch worth Thousands of Dollars for One piece... and those things don't fly out the Doors Daily.
I've got a Signed Native American Buffalo Hunt Bronze that I think he'll be interested in Buying from me. I had it a long time and enjoyed it but I don't Display it anymore and have no Attachments to it, tho' it is a lovely piece and large, so as heavy as a Boat Anchor. I don't have the Retail Space to Market it and I don't want it taking up Valuable Space and sit there for Months waiting on the Right Buyer. I don't have the Room at Home to Display it. Even Selling it for Scrap I'd make more than I Paid for it a long time ago, but I don't want it destroyed and scrapped... coz it's a Numbered Piece and I don't know exactly how many were even produced? Richard Loves that kind of thing and keeps bugging me about Selling to him some choice pieces like that which he knows I have and just don't bother bringing in to Sell to Customers. The Demographic there aren't usually Consummate Collectors, they're Impulse Buyers and prefer whatever is Cheapest. You do have to know your Audience.
This is what flies out of there, this kind of Merch... and so... we load up with it coz that's what the Customers are Buying the most of. And my Kiddo Collected this kind of thing too and Shares Space with me there and knows what her Generation are seeking. Right now our biggest Demographic are Younger Shoppers that are spending their Money. And I don't mind being their Favorite Vendor at all really. It's flattering when the Young Collectors tell us we're their Favorite Spaces and our Regulars. A lot of Princess T's Young Co-Workers Shop our Spaces in fact and come in to visit with me when they're there. Some have brought in their Parents or Grandparents to meet me and tell them I'm Princess T's Gramma. *LOL* Even tho' she's an Introvert, she's very Popular with her Co-Workers and even with Management.
