The Censoring Of Truth Or Suppressing A Point Of View

 

My Blog Readers were Upset that they were having to jump thru Hoops to Read the last Post, that were imposed requirements to Access it. Well, I do now Wonder, will I be permanently under a Sensitive Content Warning now, and Censored, regardless of what banal topics I Write about, or not?  *Bwahahahaha*  Oh, I know it will Suppress Readership, which it's meant to discourage Readers... and Bloggers.  And I was doing so Well with a dramatic increase in Readers, perhaps Too Well???  Scaring Big Brother perhaps? *Winks*  Making Good Trouble is what I'm all about tho', so they'll just have The Devil need to Deal with it and get used to it then.  I don't make Deals with Devils.  I stand on the Right Side of History and make no Apologies for that.  I can Agree to Disagree with Decency and Civility, even Hearing out Opposing Points of View.  That Diversity of Hearing and Expressing all Opinions is what Democracy, if it's Functional, is all about IMO.

 I have been an Activist, an Advocate for the Oppressed and Victimized, and a Militant on the Side of Righteousness a long time, it's not my 1st Rodeo protesting against The Establishment, Corruption, and Injustices. *Winks*  I find it quite Interesting that the Censorship of the Far Right and Lunatic Fringe is non-existent, some real Fascist, Big Brother is Watching and imposing THEIR Will upon the People, Bullshit is going on... only their own Propaganda allowed to get thru uncensored.  It's not as if we're not Speaking Truth To Power, coz we are, no Lies and Deceptions going on here.  I always keep it 100% and mebbe some can't handle The Truth, but, this is a voluntary Space to Visit, it's not mandatory, all are Welcome, none is forced to come or to stay tho'.  Everyone is Welcome to come back... or not... no hard feelings.  You don't have to Agree with me, I'm Fine with that, you should have your own Point of View and not just Parrot someone else's.

So, anyway, when I loaded my Blog this Morning and saw this:

I was like, My... The Pearl Clutchers and/or The Blog Police sure have had a busy Night!  *Bwahahahaha*  Coz I set it to Publish just after Midnight, so they must have been up burning the Midnight Oil trawling and Trolling the Land of Blog desperately looking for Offenses to Take and Run with!  *Winks*  I've been in FB Jail before for a Month, just for Posting either Political Memes that were only Censored if it was THIS Regime, they don't mind you bashing any other American Prez tho', they're all Fair Game and don't shit Kittens about Political Humor directed at them like Donnie Two Dolls does.  I'm Non-Partisan about Criticism and Support Politically.  And once for Posting a Vignette that happened to have an 1800's Nude Cabinet Card in the Pix, Gasp, the Horror of a Bohemian Nude of a Woman whose been Dead 100 Years or so!  And didn't even shock the Uptight Victorians that Photographed her!!!  *LOL*  But, ain't that the way the Uptight and Sensitive are, always desperately seeking that which will Offend them and then Taking that Offense they looked so damned hard for!   If it Offends you then it's not FOR you, it's that Simple.  *Eye Roll & Laughs*

My Family were Surprised it's taken this long for my 1st Sensitive Content Warning, I've been Blogging since 2009 and I've ALWAYS been ME.  *Winks*  It's not as if I'm a Sensitive Content Virgin by any means, I know I can and often will enter Controversial Territory and I don't Care, I will do it, you can Count on it.  *LOL*  I suspect it's why my Blog has gained in Popularity, becoz I don't sugarcoat or sanitize anything, not Life, not shy away from any Topics that generally folks are reluctant to talk about.  And I always keep it 100% and Real, I won't Bullshit any of you and I think enuf Lies and deception are being spread by others these days that we don't Need any more of that nonsense spewed and NOT Censored.  And, it isn't being Censored like TRUTH is, that's part of the Problem, isn't it?  We have a President of the United States saying the most atrocious of things on Social Media, TV, in Person, and nobody is Censoring any of that, no matter how abhorrent!  But call him what HE IS... and it's Censored and "Sensitive Content" you have to be Warned about, Really???  *Eye Roll*

I Exercise my 1st Amendment Rights and it's the FIRST Amendment for a Reason.  It's one of the most Important ones... perhaps THE MOST Important one!  Ratified in 1791 as part of The Bill Of Rights, it prevents the Government from abridging Fundamental Freedoms: Freedom of Religion, Speech, the Press, Assembly, and the Right to Petition the Government.  It Serves the People as a Cornerstone of American Democracy to foster Open Debate and Protect Dissent!   And I will never STOP Exercising my 1st Amendment Rights as an American, it's what has made our Country one that people wanted to come to and make their Home, fleeing from other parts of the World where Oppression, Censorship, lack of Freedom, and Persecution and Human Rights Violations run rampant.  It's why we don't want that kind of Bullshit here, EVER.  It's what Generations of Patriots have Fought and often Died to Protect.   So fuck Censorship this Regime is imposing and Rights they are illegally taking away that were hard Fought for and Won!!!  

I find it quite Ironic that no Censorship of all the vitriol, Hatred, Lies and abhorrent things the Far Right spew all of the time are just Fine and apparently they don't feel is "Sensitive Content" that requires Warnings!  I'm Offended and Outraged every time this Psycho and his Sycophant Cabinet open their Mouths, EVERY TIME.  They are Offensive, Oppressive, and they are Racists, Homophobic, Xenophobic, Sexist, Misogynistic, and a great many are apparently either Sex Offenders and Pedophiles or Protect them, they promote Violence and division, yet, none of that is being Censored, not Online, not by the Media or Press, not pushed back against hard enough.  I'd much rather have that Censored, I've not read anything in my fav Blogs that comes remotely close to being as Offensive as our present Leadership is.   Sage that shit!  *Winks*

Yet, I do see where some of my Fav Bloggers also have the "Sensitive Content Warning" which has probably been imposed involuntarily to try to inhibit Readers from Reading/Visiting their Blogs.  Scaring people off for no good reason... there's nothing anyone should be Fearful of Seeing or Reading on the ole' Blog, PLEEEEASE, spare me the Blog Policing Pearl Clutching Drama!  If you've led such an insulated Life you have difficulty accepting Truth rather than Fiction or Lies you may have been Spoon Fed as "Alternative Truth", which, there is no such thing, The Truth IS THE TRUTH, anything else, isn't, there is no Alternative, then I do Pity you though.   The protecting of Lies and Propaganda seems to be the direction America is now going tho' and that is deeply concerning and we knew this was their intent.  It was the intent of every Fascist Regime thruout History, Bad History is doomed to be repeated when folks don't know the Truth and it's withheld or Bad History Whitewashed or eliminated so that they can pretend it never happened.

I was up to around 2,000 Readers per Day on Average until they put me Under "Warning Status", I personally think it's an attempt to Silence us who Speak Truth To Power.   And limit how many will dare to click on a "Sensitive Content Warning" thinking it to be some Porn Site or something nefarious.   Some of my Dear Readers thought perhaps I'd been Hacked!   So, I shall visit your Blogs to inform you that No, not Hacked, just Censored.  *Eye Roll*   So, now I'm among the Forbidden Blogs I Guess?  *LMAOROTF*  Well, whaddya gonna do in Today's Oppressive laden America?   Too many have already been Silenced and Targeted in his Revenge and Retribution Tour, which he did Promise he'd do and it's about the ONLY Promise he's actually Kept.  He hasn't kept a single one given otherwise that he Ran on to get Voted In.  So, his Base haven't gotten a damned thing Promised to them... a total Con Job done on them, even if some still refuse to admit they were Played and shamelessly Exploited, since he considers them disposable Rubes he Cares nothing about and has said so, out loud.

 The Land of The Free my Ass, Freedom has been eroded so much since 2.0 that it's shocked me how quickly they could take Freedom away from us all!!!   Without a Bullet being Fired, we didn't need to be invaded or conquered by any outside Enemy, this is the Enemy from within.   Greed and Power run amok.   Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Absolutely Corrupts.  Another of his inappropriately appointed Cabinet, Gabbard, Resigned Today... for Personal Reasons, ailing Spouse.  I don't expect a more appropriately appointed replacement tho'.  I Wish her DH well in his Fight with his Illness tho', having an ailing Spouse, or any Family Member, is hard, and I have had Decades of a Point of Reference about how hard it is.  Her being the U.S. Director of National Intelligence was a very Bad Fit tho', just like all his other Croney and Nepo Hire Appointments, so, her Resigning is not Surprising, for whatever reasons were given, she was never up to the Job.

Enough of that tho', they won't Silence us, it just gives us even more resolve to Speak Up and Speak Out even louder and more often.  *Winks*  Just like their attempts at Voter Suppression and any Oppression will backfire on them too.  I just made Maple Pancakes with Maine Maple Syrup to pour on them, with a side of Fresh Fruit. {Blueberries, Mango & Bananas}   The Man finished his OT spectacularly, OT White John was impressed, he'd doubled the amount of reps and The Man challenged himself to do it all without Tapping Out.  *Yay, that's my Man!!!*  So I knew it had worked up an Appetite.  I'd done Environmental Cleanup earlier and also taken some things out of the Main House that were cluttering up Rooms and put them in The RV Garage Mahal while it was Cool enuf to do that.  I Tapped Out earlier on that Project coz it did break a considerable Sweat.  *Whew*  I Plan to keep tackling it in small increments at a time each day.

I've had some Sciatica on my Left Side, which makes it hard to do Physical stuff without Sciatica Pain.  Reducing Nerve Pressure I do the Stretching Exercises that often Help, it's just aggravating me Today for some reason.   I usually don't have it in the Early Mornings, so this was unexpected.  Walking helps some, the Stretching helps some too, I don't like taking Meds for it, if I went to The Gym and did some Hydrotherapy and Kryotherapy it would help, but now it's too late in the Morning and The Gym would be crowded.   If I can't go before 9:00 a.m. or really late in the Evening, I just don't go.  I Paid for a Membership, instead of having Medicare Pay for Membership, to not have to be there during Peak Hours when it's crowded, or have Ageism Restrictions imposed on when I could go or not go.

I have lots to do around here but the Heat makes it difficult to do much outside of a Climate Controlled Space now.  Spring and Summers are like that.  Fall and Winter are full of good Weather Cooling off {usually, but not recently}, but, have a lot of Holidays and Events that I juggle doing my Work around.  I can't have it be all Work and no Play, after all. *Winks*  I never heard anyone on their Deathbed saying they Wished they'd Worked more and had less Quality Time to themselves!   And I try to keep that in Perspective as the Twilight Years are upon The Man and I.  There is a lot that probably won't get done and that's Okay, I'm coming to Terms with the fact there's too much to Do and less Time to spend in the Doing of it.  And tho' I'd like for it all to eventually one day get Done, perhaps it won't, and I have to develop a Peace about that possibility.  I'd rather go to the Park, do Environmental Cleanup and enjoy the Colony of Wild Arizona Lovebirds there.

Rusty had left a Plastic Bag full of Princess T's things off on the Front Doorstep that had been left at his house, Ruh Roh!   I don't know how she's taking it, semi-not-well since they've spent Two Years being a Couple, so it's a lot of your Life Invested in someone and you don't get that Time back.  I think I mentioned he made a feeble attempt to Clean Up the deferred Hygiene maintenance with a Shave and a crazy Haircut.  *LOL*  He's missing the Point tho', she told him he's not a Child, so she shouldn't have to Tell him to practice good Daily Hygiene, at his Age that should come as a Daily Habit you've developed and just DO!!!  Letting yourself Go is never a good thing, no matter how long you've been in a Relationship.  I asked her if he suffers from Depression, and she said he does, but, she still expects not to have to tell him to Brush his Teeth or his Hair... and I don't blame her.  It bugs me that with The Man's Advanced Age, TBI and now Dementia, Hygiene can become an Issue.  The Man was always meticulous about such things.  No Woman {or Man} wants an Unclean Man... PERIOD.   No Man {or Woman} wants an Unclean Woman... PERIOD.  No Debating it or Compromises!!!

 

The Son says that means a Guy has become Too Comfortable in the Relationship... he could be Right.  But, how Rusty was Raised has been an Issue of Contention from The Jump with Princess T, coz she said they don't keep a Clean Home.  And you can't come out of an Unclean Home and really expect Cleanliness to be a Priority.   His Tia's have been coming over to Clean before she ever comes to Visit or spend the Night or otherwise, she will not!!!   Granted, he was mostly Raised by a Single Parent, his Dad, and it was an All Guy Household.   But, she says that's no excuse, Men can be Clean if they wanna be and keep a Clean Home if they wanna, and have it as a Priority.  I agree completely, no Free Pass for being Male, on being Nasty in how you Live.   And to be Fair, some Women are Nasty too in how they Live or Look... so... if you don't wanna be Sanitary and Live Nice... you just won't.  She's meticulous about how she is and how her surroundings are, it's how she was Raised.  I can't abide by filthy or lazy Habits.  I'm no Domestic Goddess, but don't Live like you're a filthy Animal.

She's tried Shaming him, Nagging at him, and finally it caused a Big Fight recently and he may have just Tested her to a limit and boundary he should not have insisted on Crossing once again?   He's a Nice Guy, a Hard Working Young Man, he's exceedingly Generous to her, but, I don't think she has a Big Ask of him.  That's up to him how he Receives the Truth in Love.  You Need to Clean Up your Act and practice better Hygiene and keeping your Living Spaces presentable, Clean and decent, so that you don't have to be embarrassed about it or told it's not Okay.  I'm very forthright like she is too.  If I walk into someone's Home and it's not Okay, I will say something and ask how they can Live like this?  If they Smell and I Care about them, I will say something for their Benefit in case they don't know and have gone Nose Blind to their own Odor?  Better than them going around smelling like Body Odor or Looking like Heall, and nobody says anything to their Face... but plenty behind their Backs. 

And the involuntary Censorship of my last Post did indeed inhibit Readers from visiting, by a LOT... visits were abysmal, yet Comments abounded from those who did Dare to Read it and support the Content of it.  Thank You.  If they Successfully Silence us it's a slippery slope into total Fascism controlling America and gutting our First Amendment Rights.  I cannot stress this enuf, and once they come for your 1st Amendment Rights your 2nd Amendment Rights are next, so on and so forth until you have no Rights left my Friends.  That said, if they Censor all my Posts now then I won't get the Trolls anymore coz their Delicate Sensibilities will have been duly Warned, Sensitive Content Warning Up Ahead, come if you Dare.  *Winks and Laughs*  So, I may as well then go Balls to the Wall with my Sensitive Contenting then, Right?  *LMAOROTF*  I can get positive salacious if I wanna then... *Smiles and Winks*  What Fun!

Anyway, I happen to know that most of my Blog Content is Family Friendly and really for anyone and only Offensive to those actively looking for something to be Offended by.  If someone is easily Offended then almost anything or everything will Offend them even if it's unintended and banal.    Perhaps it was Mister Profanity Police who showed up that one day and pretended to be so Self-Righteous and Pious, they are the Worst!  Gak!  He probably secretly immerses in Porn behind Closed Doors, those Type of Self-Righteous Pious hypocrites usually are the most Twisted and Perverse in Secret.  *Winks*  I've seen plenty of Sex Crimes Files of the Convicted, to know that not everyone is as they Appear and Pretend they are Publicly... Privately some are really deranged individuals doing some extremely heinous stuff.  The Files would always have those Positive Reference Letters from Clergy, Friends, various Co-Workers and Neighbors claiming what a Righteous Law Abiding Religious individual they were... but... they WEREN'T... not at all.  By a long shot.  Deceived everyone.

I decided to rehash this Pix from the Forbidden Post... LOL... since, I liked it and it was a good Post with lots of good Imagery to Share.  So, if this doesn't also become among the Forbidden Posts... this is an alert to all Dear Readers fearful of entering the Realm of what Blogger considers "Sensitive Content Warning" Territory, it wasn't that bad.  Honestly, it was a Normal Post from Yours Truly and since 2009 nobody has had any complaints or problems 99.9% of the time about what I Write about or Share in my Imagery, it's all pretty Banal really, nothing Earth Shattering or Cutting Edge... no Breaking News you haven't already seen or heard about...  just your Run-of-the-Mill Blogger, just Blogging about Life in General and what we're all Experiencing in some form or another by just being Alive Today and Sharing the Human Experience overall.  Yawn... not worth the Clutching of Pearls or getting the Vapors about.  *LOL*

Normally I'd have Hundreds of Views by Noon, I have Eleven on The Forbidden Post.   I usually have more than that when the Post first Publishes, within Minutes.  *Eye Roll*  So, effectively the Blog Police do intimidate Blog Readers with their ridiculous Censorship Policies and alleged "Community" Guidelines.  Kind of reminds me of the Bored Housewives who are on the Board of an out of control HOA and moderate what all their Neighbors can do, not do, and get really ridiculous about imposing Rules and Regulations they just randomly make up to say it's For The Community... or For The Children... or whatever Bullshit they pretend they're Protecting while being Nazi-esque about enforcing.  I'd like to know by what Authority they deemed themselves Above everyone else to Judge these things?  What one should Read, could Read, Ban, etcetera?  The Book Banning is in full force, Blog Banning could be next on the Hit List, who knows?

So, to the Handful of you left, if I indeed become a Forbidden Blogger {Bwahahahaha}, Welcome you Brave and Fearless Souls, you, who refuse to be Intimidated or Oppressed!!!  *Smiles*  The Son just told me his Boss wants him to come in Earlier, they really must have liked his performance being Trained on the Registers and Customer Contact, coz they had him Work later last Night, and are asking him to come in earlier Today, Booyah!  He may move from Part Time to Full Time at this rate, we'll see?   So, anyway, I'll take him in at 2:00 p.m. rather than 3:00 p.m., so that is at least an extra Hour.  After I pick up Princess T from her Work I may just do a little more Environmental Cleanup at another Park.   I had renewed our County Park Pass, which is Annual, and did go up in Price, but The Man gets a Disabled Veteran's Discount on, which halves the Cost... and gives his Spouse a deep Discount too on being added separately, so that he doesn't always have to be in the Vehicle to use it.   I know the Park Services Budget was slashed to the Bone by this Regime.  And all Environmental Protections gutted too.

And the CDC gutted, so the recent Ebola Outbreak in the Republic of the Congo didn't get Caught soon enuf coz of how slashed that Budget now it to prevent serious deadly Contagious Diseases Worldwide.   And the Cruise Ship Outbreaks as well, how much of that was preventable, yet, we got a Conspiracy Theorist Roided Out Whack Job Quack with no Medical Expertise running Health and Human Services.  *Eye Roll*  This is a Guy so Crazy in his own Habits, he admitted snorting Cocaine Off of Toilet Seats and cuts the Genitals off Road Kill and does Lord knows what with them... so I seriously doubt he's a reliable Source for Health Advice of any kind for anyone.   People are Dying on his Watch and becoz of him.   

 

And listen, if you wanna forego Medical advice, treatment and intervention at your own peril and Die due to it, I don't really Care, Natural Selection at Work IMO, you Assumed the Risk voluntarily and Lost, your Dumb Luck didn't hold out.  But, putting everyone else at risk over whacky Conspiracy Theories rather than Trusting the Science and Disease Control Experts, and gutting Funding for Research and what is Needed to Control, Manage or Mitigate such Outbreaks, I take Issue with.  It puts the whole World in Danger over your Foolishness and unfounded Theories that often are so outlandish, it boggles the Mind that it can be so easily influencing anyone to Believe such outrageousness.  

I'm now hearing via Private Messages and some Comments from Dear Readers about The Forbidden Post, that it was made really difficult for them to even View said Post.  That bothers me, coz if my Readers want to Read my Blog, they should be able to without hassles trying to make it difficult or impossible for them to access it.  Listen, if Blogger wants to Play Games and Censor Posts with a Warning, Fine, Whatever... but then let a Reader decide, and without it being a Dog and Pony Show for them to View said Post, that they decided they want to access.  Making it harder or impossible for them to access it is suspicious to me and perhaps intentional, and beyond Censorship to deny someone access to a Social Media site based on some Moderator's Opinions about Content.  Nobody Shared that Opinion who did View the Post, nobody who Viewed it felt it was Sensitive or not like numerous other Posts they may have Viewed in The Land Of Blog.  Certainly no Imagery was Offensive either.  It's all very Subjective of coarse, but I got no pushback or criticism from any Dear Reader whatsoever about the Post.  None.

And it makes me Feel like this when some Moderator, or Karen, or Bored Housewife on an HOA Board, decides they will Control what everyone else is "Allowed" to see, as if we're a bunch of Children and not Grown Ass Adults that can make these decisions for ourselves.  Or speak our own Minds, or have opposing Opinions than they do, or like to Read what we like to Read, See what we like to Behold, and interact with one another as a Community that doesn't require a Committee to decide FOR us, what is appropriate, inappropriate, relevant, irrelevant.  I been Grown a long damned time, I have my own Point of View, I don't require being given someone else's Point of View forced upon me and my Readers involuntarily.  We're Grown, it's not Necessary.  

 

So, anyway, when I get around to Publishing this Post we'll see if I'm still under Blogger Arrest and Warning for Content?  And I do apologize to all my Dear Faithful Readers that you've had to put up with the nonsense of making it difficult for you to Visit, you deserve to Read any Blog without hassles from Blogger in order to be able to Access it.    Some of you persevered and for those who didn't, or couldn't figure out the various Hoop Jumping required, I am so Sorry you have to experience any of that, it was totally unnecessary.  The Post wasn't worth all the Hoopla they made it out to be.   The majority of it just told you about the Event I attended and what I bought there... nothing scandalous or salacious about the Event or what I Bought.   I Shared some more Family Photos of Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren, and of myself with Friends, they and we were all fully Clothed and Decent.   No Girls Gone Wild Visuals.   If you came for that, thinking that's why it was so Forbidden, you'd be disappointed.  *Eye Roll & Laughs*

 

In fact, since that Forbidden Post had such dismal ability to Access it by Dear Readers, I am thinking about Posting this one Tonight, and have it Publish Early, with a Two Fer for ya, just to see what happens now?   It's been a fairly Non-Eventful Day, so let us just see if Blogger makes it more Eventful than it Needs to be?  *Winks*  I Hope not since I don't want any of you hassled and unable to Visit, we always have a good time and camaraderie here in The Land.  It's a great Community and a lot of Kindred Spirits.   Some are other Bloggers, some aren't Bloggers but like to Visit Blogs.  We Support one another and Share a lot, of the Good and the Bad of Life in General.  That's why we Blog.  It's how we've established meaningful Relationships here and made lasting Friendships, some of which I've had for Years now.  I Cherish my Blog Friends and Community as much as I Cherish my Real Life Friends and Community.
