Nothing Is Really Normal Anymore, Is It?

 The Son found out that he actually gets Paid Daily where he Works, which is a nice Option to have when you aren't making much per Hour and only Part Time too.  Tho' it doesn't Pay well he really likes the Work and who he's working with, so it's Stress Free and that's Priceless right now, Life has enuf Stress in it already.  The Daughter has been cultivating Contacts of Elderly People who Need various Work done on their Properties or with their Caregiving that she can do for whatever they can afford to Pay her or give her something in Trade for of Value.  She's flexible coz she has a Heart for Helping so it's less about the Money for her and more about fulfilling a Need of a Vulnerable Adult.  That's how she endeared herself to so many in Mexico doing that Service when someone had Need.  For some she'd of done it if they had nothing to Give and they knew that. 

So, she's not been Home much at all and one of the Elderly Guys would like her to become his Full Time Caregiver coz he has a Big Property and Home but can no longer Maintain it coz of his failing Health and Age.  He's thinking of Selling it and getting something smaller now.  But his Family are Co-Heirs on a lot of Paid Off Properties with Acreage, worth over a Million apiece now, that they all now Occupy that belonged to their Parents and they Inherited, so, it's complicated.  Some want to Sell, some don't, and the Siblings don't get along, which always makes splitting up Shared Inheritances very Messy.  Mostly it will be Lawyers that get Paid when Family is fractured and in-fighting like that.  And the family Loses really, Lawyers being the Real Winners and ending up with most of the Spoils of the divisive Nature of the distribution of Shared Assets.  It's similar to a Messy Divorce and very Cut Throat.

Anyway, she's considering his Offer, he has no Wife, no Children, and a Life Insurance Policy he'd want to put into the Name of whoever Cares for him so he doesn't have to go into a Nursing Home.  She felt awkward about the caveat of being some Beneficiary of a Life Insurance Policy tho', coz it's not something she was comfortable with being part of the arrangement if she took it.  It creeps her out to even think about anyone she Cares about and becomes close to Dying, she's had so many Losses already.   She doesn't want the Guy talking like that and told him he's probably got many Years left in him, so quit talking about Mortality and distribution of Assets.   But, he's about the Age of The Man and I so I do understand, if he has no Heirs, he is thinking about who he'd prefer to have as his Beneficiary if his Siblings are like Vultures circling a Dying soon-to-be Corpse.  He said he feels like that about them and that they are trying to take what's his already.

His Uncle is helping him Legally to not be compromised with his part of the Inheritance.  His Dad was the Brother of his Uncle and his Uncle's Family Cares more about what happens to him, since he's seriously Disabled and a Vulnerable Adult, than his own Siblings Care about what happens to him.  They're the ones who introduced him to the Daughter and suggested she might be good to Hire to do the things around his Property becoz she enjoys helping people.  She'd helped them a lot and was doing it as just a Friendly Favor, so they knew she's not one to exploit the Elderly at all.  She does it as a Gift, but everyone insists on giving her something for the Work she does for them.  But Price is never discussed and nobody has taken advantage of her, knowing she's a vulnerable Adult too.  She doesn't feel like anyone CAN take Advantage of her if she's willingly Volunteering... but I know people COULD.

So far in her Life, few really have and most have been a huge Blessing to her since she Voluntarily became a Blessing to them when they met her and she just started doing things for them becoz she wanted to.  Not becoz she'd get anything out of it, she didn't expect to, she enjoyed them and being a Present Help to them, it's how she just is and always has been.  Her Heart is always Right even if she's Bat Shit Crazy and Mad as a Hatter most of the time, so folks don't mind the Crazy coz they know she always has the Best of Intentions towards everyone she genuinely likes and becomes close to.  It's like her Super Power to be Liked.  And as Cher famously once said about why she's lasted so long in the Industry, "Sometimes People just LIKE you."   And ain't that the Truth and it's nothing more than THAT!!!   This Month is my 9th Dreadaversary at the end of the Month.  The Man's Young Male Home Health Team Guys LOVE my Hair.  *Smiles*  They're in a messy phase right now coz I got a lot of New Hair Growth that hasn't Locked in yet.

My Nag Champa Essential Oil Set of Four arrived so fast from the E-Bay Seller, I was shocked!   Free Shipping and Wholesale Prices, so, I'm glad I found that Seller when I couldn't ever find the time or inclination to drive to Old Town Glendale to pick it up from The Astrology Store where I've bought it for Years now.  I still like to Support Small Businesses in my area, but with Gas Prices so High, and Time so consumed by The Man's Health Issues and Appointments/Therapy right now, I just can't get out and make it a Mission or Destination to go somewhere specific for just One Item these days.  Downtown Glendale is blighted now due to that Chinese Foreign National Buying up most of the Historic Business Property there and laying it all to Waste and Neglect like a Ghost Town, that most buildings are Vacant now and the few that remain, don't have consistent Hours.  It's a travesty and why we must be Cautious of China's Intentions.

Hey you know what I found out at "Lifetime Fitness" when I asked if they have any Special Member Rates for Disabled Adults like The Grandson?  I don't think they do, but they have Special Rates for Members under Age 26, with NO Time Restrictions based on Age tho' like they do for Seniors coz of their Medicare Advantage Discount that Silver Sneakers pays the Gym!!!  Just, WOW.  Anyway, I get a Special Rate I did Negotiate to get the Ageism Restriction Waived, so I was shooting for the Fences to see if I can get a Special Rate for The Young Prince?  Why not?  She's gonna talk to their Manager, who Negotiated my Deal with me when the Ageism Restriction wasn't setting Right with me even tho' Membership Cost me Nothing then coz it was covered by Medicare.  I was willing to pay something and have the Restriction lifted coz then I could use my Membership a LOT more.  My Time is Valuable to me.  And it's not like I'm so "Retired" I have no Life and Nothing to do all Day either, with loads of Free Me Time.  *Eye Roll*

Sometimes in Retirement folks just assume we have the Luxury of doing Nothing now and have a Free Schedule without any Commitments or Life's Requirements imposed upon us.   I swear sometimes now I'm busier than when I had Corporate Lives and was running things for my Employers!!!   At least then I had Vacation Time, a Paycheck coming in for everything I did, and a GOOD one, and certain Hours of Working.  Now I don't have to GO to Work, I just Wake Up and it's all around me, 24-7 and 365, and no Paycheck or compensation for any of it.  So, No, I can't have Restrictions on when I CAN go do shit like take Time for myself going to The Gym to do a Workout and stay Healthier and Stronger.  So, I Needed to be able to fit it into my hectic Schedule and go whenever the Hell I Wanted to and COULD go!!!  Even if I had to pay Extra for that Privilege and bypass the Ageism Requirements imposed.

Anyway, the New Paid Membership is Working Out swell for me.  Coz I do go very early or very late, when hardly anyone is even there except a few dedicated Meathead Gym Rat Stud Muffins, who are great Eye Candy for an Old Lady to Behold while she Works Out.  *Winks*  If I were a Young Woman I probably wouldn't give a Guy like that the Time of Day, but us Old Ladies could Hurt a Guy like that... we not only know where it's at, we know where it used to be!  *Winks*  Actually, I'd take one Home, put an Apron on it, just an Apron, nothing else, and have it Clean my House while I watched...  As Mistress Maddie would call it, having a Houseboy *Smiles*... now, that would be Hawt!!!  *Bwahahaha*  Talk about Objectifying, like Men always do to Younger Women especially... well, us Old Ladies can Play that too.  *LMAOROTF*  I must say the Stud Muffins at The Gym are very Kind to us Old Ladies tho', they're Good Boys.  *Smiles*

When The Man had his Membership, they'd even go fetch him out of the Men's Locker Room for me whenever he got Lost or Disoriented in there and forgot which Locker he put his gear in!!!  *LOL, but Le Sigh*  Sometimes I Wondered, does he even still know why we're here?  *Smiles*  So, we let his lapse when United Healthcare dumped us, HUMANA doesn't have Memberships with my Gym so I opted to stay and just pay if they'd give me a Discount, which, they did.  Silver Sneakers Programs thru Medicare cost you nothing extra, but I didn't wanna swap Gyms, I like mine and what it offers.  Once they made it affordable I didn't mind paying a Membership and also no longer have restricted Seniors Hours when Medicare was paying for it.

Anyway, Today The Man had a Full Day, Nurse Remi came at 10:30, then John the OT came at about 11:30, then Paul the PT came at 4:00, so he got quite the Workout and Workup.  *LOL*  He did really well, much better than last Week so clearly it's already showing improvements and effectiveness from what they're doing with him.  Everyone says we're great Clients, they have many, and not everyone is as personable or does as well with their Therapies and Home Visits, making good progress so quickly.  The Man jokes that it is becoz I don't ALLOW him NOT to make good progress.  *Bwahahahaha*  I'd done Four Hours of Environmental Cleanup myself that Morning before anyone came to the House.  I got 3 huge Bags of Aluminum Cans gleaned and went to the Recycle Center with them coz the back of my Truck was full.

Then I picked up my Check from the Antique Mall too and Deposited it at the The Bank, and my Dividend Quarterly Check from my Bank Stocks which are way Up right now.  Even tho' the Economy is shit, the Stock Market is doing well, but not many Americans own Stocks so they're not benefitting from any of that.  I also did some Shopping where The Son Works coz he called to tell me they'd marked down some of their Frozen Dinners and Hot Pockets and Personal Pizzas 50% so I stocked up.  Now I have Insider Information there it's Helpful, like at SAVERS.  *Winks*  I also went to the Store and bought The Son his Uniform Color T-Shirts he has to have for "Dollar Tree", which must be Green, any shade of it or Style.  I Scored Seven of them in Cotton for only $3.49 each Brand New in the Craft Shirt Section of a Crafts Store on Sale.  That was cheaper than buying them secondhand from any Chazza.

We really like the New PT that The Man has coming now, Paul, he's a stocky muscular Young Vietnamese Guy with a Wicked Sense of Humor and Beautiful Tattoo Sleeve of Asian Art on one whole Arm.  He asked The Man, "Now, you're not gonna have any Vietnam Flashbacks are ya?"  The Man joked back, "Honey, where's my Rifle?"   And we all Laughed like Hell, we're gonna Like Paul a lot, he says we're Fun Clients.  *Winks and Smiles*  He did say he's had some Vietnam Vets who have taken Issue with him being Vietnamese, so he always asks and makes it humorous and comfortable to discuss.  But, if the Client isn't comfortable and it's too Emotionally difficult for some of the Older ones who Served in Vietnam, he understands and totally is Fine with them asking if they could swap out PT's.  He's American Vietnamese, no Accent, and so powerfully built like an MMA Fighter, that he doesn't even have a typical physique of someone Born and Raised in Vietnam.  You can tell he's eaten a lot of American Food.  You know, with all our Growth Hormones and Additives... which grow our Young People unnaturally Huge.  *LOL*

Anyway, we've had a Forty Degree Temperature spread between Mornings and Afternoon, it starts out being 60 and ends up over 100 now.  So the Mornings are Chilly and Crisp with a strong Breeze, the Afternoons HOT and typical for this time of Year, but above average in Temperatures again already.  So, we're having BOTH the unnatural Lows AND Highs on the same Day, it's Crazy.  Until about 10:00 a.m. I can Feel like it's still Winter, then by 11:00 it Feels like the Middle of Summer instead of Spring.  But, it is giving me the ability to go Outside still and to do some Work in the Non-Climate Controlled Spaces if I get to it early enough.  The Young Prince got a Package from Europe and had to pay almost $45 in Customs Tariffs for it!!!   

 

   

The item cost $250 and Allen had it sent to him, no Idea what it is but for that kind of Tariff Extortion Fee, which the Courts already deemed Illegal, so Why are they still imposing them... that's ridiculous levels of Extortion killing International Trade!!!  Better be something good, I said.  I paid the Tariff for him, I'll get reimbursed by Allen.  I don't know why they're exchanging a Gift???  Perhaps for The Young Prince being hospitable while Allen was here and Boarding Tyson for him at our Home I guess?   Which is Nice of him to do, he didn't have to.  We enjoyed having The Great-Grandpup back here for a few Days romping around in the back Pasture, he's no trouble.  And tho' Allen dumped the Divorce Paperwork here and said to Lawyer Up, he claims he's paying all expenses and so far has been good to his Word for fronting the Money regularly even tho' they're just Separated and Estranged for now.  

 

They have a complex Relationship and he knows if he becomes difficult, I'll go for the Jugular, even if my Grandson won't.  *Winks*   But, that said, it's Six of One and Half a Dozen of the Other when it comes to Relationships usually, so, I don't get involved.  I figure anytime anyone I've ever known has a breakup it's Three Sides to the Whole Story, what This One said, what That One said, and then there's The Truth.  *Winks*  They seem to be so far keeping it amicable enuf as they move thru what will culminate as a Divorce Situation which will be better for them both I strong Feel.  His Sister said it best when Princess T told me they made Lousy Husbands for each other, but Great Friends With Benefits.  *Bwahahahaha*   She never Liked Allen, but, she Knows her Big Brother really Well and said he should just have Friends With Benefits, not Husbands, not Wives.  *Ha ha ha*  He and his BFF Sayde have a close Relationship that borders on being Romantic... I don't even Ask.  And she has a Straight long time Boyfriend, Ian.  *Smiles and Shrugs*

And Princess T's long time Boyfriend, Rusty, showed up Yesterday with such a new Haircut that neither The Man or I recognized him at all!!!  I'm not kidding, The Man said, there's some Asian Guy at the Door Honey, is it one of my New Therapists?   I went to the Door and blankly stared at him, then asked who he was, he looked SOOO confused, like, Shit, both of her Grandparents have Old Timers now... and said, "It's Me... I'm just waiting for your Granddaughter."   And she comes and says, "It's Rusty Gramma...", and then we all Laughed, coz Honestly, it didn't even look like him, but it was a very Odd Haircut and indeed made him look Filipino instead of Mexican!!!  Which was really kinda Freaky that a Haircut could change how someone looks so much that someone you've seen for over Two Years you now don't even recognize when they're standing right in front of you!!!! *LMAOROTF*   The Son said it's happened to him many times if he has Long Hair, and indeed he looks different {not as Handsome IMO} with Long Hair or Facial Hair either.  I prefer him to have Short Hair and no Facial Hair.

  

And The Man reminded me of that time he came back from a Trip to Alaska clean Shaven and with his Head Shaved, and The G-Kid Force at the Airport Pickup started screaming at me to drive fast coz some Strange Man was trying to get into the Car!!!   They were Terrified and didn't recognize Grandpa at all!!!  *LOL, that's a True Story, even I didn't recognize him and did speed up at first!!!*  Finally in the Rearview Mirror, with him running behind us, I realized, Oh, Shit, that's your Grandpa!!!  *Bwahahahaha*  We hadn't seen him Clean Shaven in their whole Lifetime and he looked completely different Older with no Facial Hair.  Of coarse when in the Military he had to be Clean Shaven, and have short Hair but it had been a long time since then. 

 Funny but TrueStory, the Military even makes Indigenous and Pacific Islanders Shave and most Indians and Hawaiians don't even have Facial Hair and thus Shave with no Razor just to comply with what's required when in Boot Camp.  *LOL*  My Dad, Uncles and Cousins had to do it and so did a Hawaiian Guy I Dated... who all were in the Military.  Of coarse it was ridiculous, my Dad could never grow Facial Hair his whole Life, nor my Native American Uncles or Cousins.  The Hawaiian Guy I Dated couldn't either.   I have extremely sparse Body Hair so I never Shaved until I was much Older coz I didn't really ever Need to.  I barely Shave now coz I still don't really ever Need to.  My Grandson said it's great for him since he sometimes Presents as Female and that Gene passed down to him apparently o be Hairless, coz he has a very difficult time growing Facial or Body Hair, but his Dad's Side of the Family can easily.  Genetics can be fascinating as to what's passed along in DNA or Hereditary and Ethnicity Factors.  Below is one of my Cousins prepared for a Pow Wow, he only ever had Short Hair while in the Marine Corps, as a Tracker in Vietnam.  He Passed Away last Year... most of my Paternal Relatives of my Generation have already.

The Vietnamese PT was saying that Dreadlocks in the Asian Community are becoming a Thing, and lots of Asians, especially in the Vietnamese Community, are getting them.   I know some of my Vietnamese Friends, their Children have them now, so I'd noticed the Trend.   And so he had a lot of Questions for me coz he really would like to have some and has always wanted them.  He wasn't sure if his Dead Straight Hair would Loc well and I told him my Dead Straight Native American Type Hair did, and sometimes I've had Black People tell me their Hair didn't, so you can't really tell 'til you try them if your Hair will Take to them well or not I guess?  He asked how long I've had mine, end of this Month it's going to be Nine Years and I'll always have them, I'll never go back to how my Hair was.   His Hair was very Short so I told him mine was too when I got mine done and that's the best time to do it, coz it's Labor Intensive.  Mine still took over Eight Hours when my Hair didn't even Touch my Shoulders with Dreads.  Can't even Imagine how long it would take if your Hair is long?   People can't even remember me now without Dreadlocks.  *LOL*

Above, a much Younger me without Dreadlocks with a Childhood BFF who was 6'2" and they called us Sparrow and Stork in High School... LOL.   It's getting to be Graduation Time at the High Schools again, the School Year passes so quickly when you no longer have Kiddos in School... but when you do, Lord Have Mercy it never seems to End!!!  I Hated them being in School more than they did coz so much had changed and I been out of School longer than most of their Teachers and Administrators had even been Alive!!!  So, you can only Imagine how the Parent/Teacher Conferences and IEP's went for my Special Needs Grandkids I Raised!  *Bwahahahaha*  They'd tell me I had to enter Parent Portals and shit, I didn't even know what they were talking about and said it sounded too Star Trek for me, I ain't entering no Portals.  Pin a Note on that Kid Old School Style or you won't get my Attention.  Pretty sure all of them Secretly HATED me. 

  But Princess T swore that she Hated that all her Teachers and Administrators would always talk about me all the time, being so "Cool" and Loving my Dreadlocks and how Unusual I was!!!  *LMAOROTF*  When you're in High School I guess you don't Want your Teachers and Administrators thinking your Gramma is the Cool Weirdo, that you have to now hear about all the time, I dunno?  *Bwahahahaha*  But, at least they were saying only the Nicest Things.   The Young Prince then Deadpanned, "Or, they were Fearful if they didn't you'd put some Voodoo shit on them Gramma..."  *Okay, so, he could be Right?*  I confess I didn't look like the Garden Variety Parent or Guardian I saw toolin' in to the Local High School for Conferences, any more than Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin would have these days.  Kind of like a Unicorn.  Look, it's a Real Live Hippie, they DO Exist!!!  I may be one of the last of them in The Wild before we go Extinct???  *Smiles and Winks*   Above, me in High School with a Fro.   Wearing a Puka Shell Necklace and Puka Shell Earrings no less.  *Ha ha ha*

 Above is my Dear Mom, when she was Younger and I was in School, she didn't look like your Garden Variety Parent either, Dad as well coz there were no Indians off the Rez in them days and nobody had met anyone like Mom either!   I had the Bohemian Parents when everyone else's looked like Ward and June Cleaver of "Leave It To Beaver".  *Ha ha ha*  I had Fun digging thru some Blast From The Past Photo Archives again of myself and Family from Way Back When... an Eight Image Dump Below of The Daughters, both of them, and a couple of The Granddaughters... that very last of the Eight Images being Princess T when she was only Days Old having her 1st Professional Photo Shoot.  She looked like a little Yoda Alien Baby from another Planet!   She had that little Pot Belly and Big Coal Black Eyes where they were so Dark you couldn't even see her Pupils! *Smiles*  But of coarse I always thought our Kiddos and Grandkiddos have made the Prettiest Babies EVER.  *Winks, absolute Total Bias there.*

  

A little Nostalgia looking back at Old Photos helped Balance out my Stress levels this Morning as I'm still Battling Insurance Issues.  I had to get my Statin and my Ozempic Refills now and had the same Dog & Pony Show with TriCare's Express Scripts as I did about the Needles!  Oy Vey, different people that I had to explain their Industry to this time than with the ones I talked to a few days ago about the Needles.  These ones claimed I should get my Statin and Ozempic now from my Medicare Part D {which I'm ineligible for coz I have TriCare For Life and they're both Federal Programs, so it would be illegal to have Both}, coz they're not Covering it anymore thru TriCare for me!!!  They can clearly see they're covering 98% of my other Meds thru TriCare, so why they wouldn't think it Weird to not be covering the rest, is a Mystery of Federal Bureaucrazy!   I explained I do not have Part D and am Ineligible for it, coz I have TriCare For Life... and I'll have that FOR LIFE.  *Eye Roll*

I did finally talk to Two different people, AGAIN... to get it straightened out.  *Whew*   And a request put in to my Doc to make sure She Approves it all being not only Refilled, but put on Auto Refill there at Express Scripts and sent to me before I run out of both Medications which Stabilize the Diabetes and protect my Vital Organs.  I'm actually between Primary Docs too coz Dr. Anderson got transferred to a different Abrazo Location that is too far for me to commute to.  I like her a lot and she was also The Daughter and Princess T's Primary, so now all Three of us have to choose or be Assigned a different Primacy Physician.  *Le Sigh*  Such a lot of Changes since the 1st of the Year with Insurances and Docs and not all of them have been Positive.  I'm not as happy with HUMANA as with United Healthcare, I can tell you that much, they Deny too much that they should be covering.  Now they're Denying when The Man had his Heart Attack, Surgery, and Hospitalization for that!!!  WTF?!

So, I was on the Phone with HUMANA to ask WTF coz Dr. Pham is still seeing The Man for Cardiac Follow-up and several other Hospitalizations since then and he hasn't even gotten Paid yet for what happened the 1st time with the Heart Attack and Surgery in March!!!  If Docs don't get Paid then they stop seeing you.  We'll see what HUMANA does now coz they are the Primary and they've Denied almost everything since the Heart Attack and including it, no good reason given.  TriCare is our Secondary Insurance, the VA his 3rd Insurance, but they expect Medicare to pay what a Primary should be paying out, they're all Federal Programs whether Medicare, TriCare or the VA.  I think this Government has Grifted and Stolen so much Money now that there isn't the Money to pay out on these things that should be Federally Funded for the American People, that's my Theory.

And, I have no Idea what Phone Call The Man allegedly got that he put on the Calendar Today as me having a Dental Appointment I didn't Schedule or know about?  Coz when I got there, they are Closed for almost the entire Month of May on Vacation, so they wouldn't have Scheduled anything now, they're not even Open until after the 26th!!!!!  Of coarse he doesn't remember who called him really or why he thought it was for me, and a Dental Appointment at 11:00 a.m., which he Wrote on the Calendar so I just assumed it was correct.  He'd said it was for a Cleaning and I thought to myself, it wasn't that long ago I had a Cleaning and you're only allowed so many Annually.  With his TBI and Dementia I don't even like him taking Calls for that reason, he gets everything muddled and mixed up terribly.  But he'll rush to that Phone like a Blue Ass Fly when it Rings!  Even tho' he knows he shouldn't be taking Calls coz he cocks them all up!  *Le Sigh*

So, I was there an no Appointment, so I carried on to the Antique Mall instead and foofed our Showroom, which was so messy you would have thought Sales were Strong, they're not.  They're flatlining again but people coming in sure are messing up the place even if they aren't buying anything.  The Daughter had recently completely cleaned and organized it for me after the last time it was so messed up that Management had to call me about the carnage people had made in there.  It wasn't as bad as all that, but it was ridiculously messy.  We're just getting in a Demographic lately that's acting the Fool when they're in there and we should be asking them to leave when they're destroying and messing things up intentionally like that, there's no excuse for it.  Anyway, took me an Hour to get everything cleaned up and put right again.  There was hardly any Customers even there.

In between the Pix Dump of Family, is a Pix of this Morning's Breakfast I had.  An Acai Tropical Mango Bowl, from "Robeks", Nom-Nom, Love these.   This one had Frozen Acai, Mango, Strawberries, Coconut, Pineapple, Banana, Honey, Vanilla Almond Milk and Bee Pollen.  I sat Outside and ate it Alfresco coz it was a Gorgeous Morning.  I also did some Environmental Cleanup this Morning and some of the Middle Aged Guys who are always there at the Skater part of the Park doing Tricks on their Skateboards introduced themselves to me, since they said they see me there all the time.   I think they're a little Old to be risking Skateboarding Injuries, since they seem to not have been doing it all their Youth or they'd be better at it.  *Smiles*  But, very nice Guys, probably in their 30's now.   They sure are having a good time at it and swapping Stories about Skating with one another and trying to learn New Tricks on their Boards.  Most Skaters are Kids, or Teenagers, or perhaps in their 20's tho', unless they did it as a Pro and made a Living and Industry of it like Tony Hawk.

Okay, back to the Family Photo Dump, Above and Below is the Oldest Daughter when she was in her 20's, hard to Believe she's over 50 now and a Grandma!!!   She always looked way Younger than she was tho'.  Even when she was Married and had Kids, we'd have some of the Middle Daughter's Jr. High School Teachers ask us if she'd been in their Class the Year before!!!???    And it's like, No, she's not an 8th Grader, she's Grown, Married and has Children already.  *Bwahahahaha*  But, she's very Short, 4'11" and was a Tiny little Sprite, who didn't look like an Adult until she was well over 30.   One of our Great-Granddaughters looks so much like her tho' that I'm sure she'll Grow Up looking just like our Oldest Daughter, her Gramma. 

Below is the Great-Grandchild that looks very much like our Oldest Daughter did at the same Age.  Her Eyes are Light Brown instead of Black as Coal like the Oldest Daughter.  Our Oldest Daughter and Princess T have the same Eye Color like that, which look more Black than Brown.  I enjoy all the Pixs that Family is Sharing that doesn't live close by for us to see them in Person.  And nobody is Traveling anymore so chances are we won't be seeing them in Person now either.  This Administration Killed Tourism, especially Internationally, but, Nationally too.  And tho' they claim not to have Money for Social Services, they're now gonna spend Billions of Our Stolen Tax Dollars to put into a Slush Fund for their Criminal Cronies and the January 6th Convicted Criminal Rioters they Pardoned and now will make Rich for trying to overthrow the Government at his Request and Storm the Capitol.  Hitler did a similar thing in the 1930's BTW, in case is sounds eerily Familiar in it's parallels.

Below is one of our Granddaughters in Mexico who is one of Princess T's Older Siblings.   She's given us Two Great-Grandchildren, a Boy whose almost a Teenager now, and a Girl whose Grade School Aged.  Time Flies and never Stands Still.   I don't know if we'll ever go to Mexico again now, we used to make Trips there, but the Dynamic shift between our Two Countries is corrosive with this Regime and all previous Allied Countries we used to have good Relationships with, Trade Agreements with that were mutually beneficial, and made for Diplomatic Harmony and Global Strength and Unity.  America is Bottoming Out quickly and far too many seem oblivious that it is dire.  You really have to not be paying attention at all not to see how FUBAR and Corrupted it's all become under this demented Leadership.  The Lunatics running the Asylum never works out to have a Happy Ending and insatiable Greed consumes literally everything to everyone else's expense.

I'd rather have Uplifting Images and something Positive to Blog about really.  But we all do know what's going on and it can't be completely blocked out or ignored, that would be perilous to.   We can attempt to Normalize our Days, but Nothing is really Normal anymore, is it?  And keeping up with the Fuckery is impossible... I only just learned of the quiet lifting of the Ban by this Regime on Cyanide Bombs, M-44 Devices, to Kill Animals on Public Federal Lands!!!   These are very deadly and dangerous devices and why they were Banned.   And it's Cruel to Poison an Animal with Cyanide... and has dangers to other Animals that may then eat the Poisoned Animal's remains... and even Pets or Humans that may then have exposure to the Poison.  He and his Sycophants are such Idiots and so Environmentally Unconscious and Greed Driven, they just don't Care about anything but enriching themselves and holding onto Power.

I swear they spend all their Time Dreaming Up more deadly and dangerous or expensive Policies to enact now they're in charge.  I'm sure they got big Donors in the Cattle and Ranching Industries to Grease their Palms to push that one thru quietly while they loaded up distractions to keep everyone unaware of it.  Follow the Money... always.  It's all Pay To Play now and being Auctioned Off to the Highest Bidders like America is E-Bay and being Asset Stripped and Sold Off to Line their Pockets. Nobody thus far is Stopping them...  Today when I was doing Environmental Cleanup, the Wild Lovebirds were in the Trees again, a Flock must live very close by and visit every Morning now.  I Love all of Nature and why I don't want Bad Policy funded by Special Interests with Deep Pockets putting our Wildlife and Environment at Risk for their Monetary Gains and Paying Off our Politicians and call it being a Donor... it's a Bribe, plain and Simple, and our Leadership right now can be Easily BOUGHT.

Becoz I happened to mention near my Phone about seeing the Wild Lovebirds, now I get the Arizona Lovebirds Algorithm Feed!!!  *Ha ha ha*  It's intrusive the way our Devices listen in and Spy on us, but Big Brother is Watching and everywhere now so you have to see the ironic Humor about it all too.  And, I do like the Lovebird Local Feed or what great Photographers are capturing thru the Eye of their Lens of the Wild Lovebirds of Metro Phoenix.  I found out what a Small World it is again too.  When I'd gone in to The Son's Store and saw his Freight Manager I thought to myself, that looks like Sean, the Young Man that was a Friend and Worked with my Granddaughter over at SAVERS and recently got let go.  Well, turns out he IS the Younger Brother of Sean and they look almost exactly alike except the Younger Brother is skinnier and has Strawberry Blonde Hair instead of Auburn Hair like Sean did.   But they look SOOOO much alike, no denying they are Brothers!

 

Love this Gnawing Terror Fuggler in a Straight Jacket but the cost of this Ltd. Ed one resale is Crazy!  I was on E-Bay Buying The Man some Leather Crocks coz that's all he can and will wear and his poor Feet swell so much now he needs a bigger size for when they're swollen badly and he can't get his regular size Shoes on anymore.   He likes the Leather ones and they're hard to come by in the Style he recognizes and now that's important to him, that things remain the same and recognizable.  But, I found a Pair at a good price, and Fair Shipping, in the size Needed and the Seller has shipped them out right away too.  It was getting so that I couldn't get his Shoes on his swollen Feet anymore and the Lasix only helps so much with Swelling.  He'll be Happy that these look the same as the Style ones he's always had, Thank God for Online Auctions where you can literally Find anything!  *Whew*  The T-Shirt Below I saw at Auction... very Tempting... and we don't even have to put a Name to it and we all know Who... ha ha ha.

Today the Meme Dump Feed was so Good I had to Share some more that came in my Algorithm Feed recently.  Sad Dark Humor, but all so True.   I'm finally getting all my Medication Situation sorted out with the Insurance Company that provides my Prescriptions, what an Ordeal it's been tho'!  *Whew*  So far I got 2 out of the 3 Meds getting refilled, still trying to push thru the Ozempic Order tho' with them.  *Le Sigh*  I'm not taking it for Vanity and Weight Loss, I'm taking it for Type II Diabetic Stabilization.  Since Trulicity quit being effective for me after being on that so long, the efficacy after a while diminishes over Time and sometimes they have to switch Meds due to that.  If they want my Diabetes Managed then I do need the Ozempic Weekly Injection along with the Lantus Daily ones.  

But as you all now know due to my Blog Rants, the 1st of the Year brought with it Insurance Issues coz of Changes that were involuntarily made with Medicare Providers.  Which then made it Messy with my Secondary Insurer thru TriCare For Life and Express Scripts which provides all my Medications... and also problems with Social Security... it was SO Messy.   It's bad enuf that now I have to pay for all my Meds and the Co-Pay keeps increasing all the time.  The Man Served 39 Years for Earned Benefits of FREE Medical/Medicine for Life for he and I that then our Government didn't Honor... so now it costs me over $200 a Month Plus now for what the Base Pharmacy USED to provide and now phased out most all of my Meds so I had to use their Express Scripts Pay as you Go thru TriCare now.  It's still subsidized, but, hits the Budget of a Fixed Income harder nonetheless.  Your Pensions, Social Security and his VA Disability don't go up by that much to compensate.  But, whaddya gonna do?  Mebbe we should have Stormed the Capitol One Day instead of Serving Country for 39 Years?  *Eye Roll*

The Son just told me they already wanna Train him to be a Cashier now... I told him he'll move up the Ranks fast there when they see his Work Ethic, Experience, Value and Potential.  And it's a Fortune 500 Company.  I know he's an Asset to any Employer, and a Quick Study, he sometimes lacks the Confidence he should have tho'.  I'm really Happy for him, I felt he was getting too Old to remain in The Trades and have such Physically Demanding Work that often is quite dangerous Work too... and lacks Job Security or Benefits these days.   So, anyway, I could tell he was Surprised, but I'm not, I'd told him that they'd Notice... and they have.  I always say Cream Rises to the Top.  So no matter what you're doing, do it with Excellence and somebody always Notices and takes Notes on you and how you could be better Utilized for their Organization and Purposes.    

I always told my Kiddos, I don't Care if you're cleaning Toilets or performing any lowly Honorable Work, that's not what's Important.  But... what IS Important is to be the best damned Toilet Cleaner anybody ever saw, and somebody will Notice, Pay Attention to you, and you won't stay there long cleaning the Toilets.   You won't be Overlooked, you'll be Looked Over then by those with Influence.  I always Scouted for my Best People when I had my Corporate Lives and was running Departments and Protecting my Employer's Assets.   I knew what I was Looking for and who would Rise thru the Ranks and be an Asset and not a Liability.   Some folks are a Problem and not a Solution, you have to Weed out the Problem folks.   Some people will always be a Problem, where ever they go and whatever they do... I don't waste my time, talents or resources on them.  Swipe Left.  They are Lost Causes.
