I Got The Blogging Blues

 I just finished watching the best NetFlix Movie "The Last Word" {2017} starring Shirley MacLaine and Amanda Seyfried {who I mistook for being Actress Dakota Fanning, I think they look a lot alike}.  I have enjoyed just about any Movie that Shirley MacLaine has ever been in and this one didn't disappoint.  My Chili had turned out really good and when I went to the Grocer they had some fresh Mochi in Berry and Matcha Flavor... and some fresh Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango, which I bought for Dessert.

I went into the She Shed and took some Christmas Merch out of Crates and will price it Tomorrow to bring in to the Antique Mall.   I guess they're having a Thanksgiving Sale, they need to do something, their attempts at Stimulating Trade are old and tired, not working, and yet they refuse to do anything different or Creative.   Sometimes there's a lot of people but they just aren't spending the Money, or they're Buying only Pokemon Merch and willing to spend anything on it.  I found some Pokemon Plush Toys that I'll bring in for our Locked Case.  Princess T has a Collection and was willing to Let Go of some to Cash In on the craze.

Hearing that one of my Lifelong Best Friends just went into Hospice right at the Holidays, and they're in Texas, so I know I'll never see her again, has been hard.  I've Lost Family and Friends at the Holidays and that's something that stays with you when those Holidays roll around every Year.   She's Younger than me and we've been like Sisters since our Kiddos were very Small.  I was the Birth Coach when her first Grandchild was Born, she didn't have it in her to do it and called me to help her Daughter Deliver him.  He's Grown and Married now, Time flies like that.  My Friend looked so Radiant in the last Pixs Shared with no Hair, she could Rock a Bald Look.  But, the Treatments were too much for her and weakened her considerably.  They've given her about 3 Months.

On the News they were saying some Korean Scientists from KAIST have found a way to convert Cancer Cells into Normal appearing Healthy functional Cells for certain types of Cancers.  I do Hope soon that Cures will be found to make Survival Rates higher for many forms of Cancer.  I have known Survivors, but we've sadly Lost more than have been Saved.  And, if someone doesn't have excellent Insurance Coverage, I feel they just end up on the Hurry Up And Die Plan with our Healthcare System.  In the United Kingdom, where all of my Mom's Family still live, those Relatives that got Cancer Survived it coz Treatments are Free there.  Several 1st World Countries offer Free Treatments to their Citizens and their Healthcare Systems are Superior to ours and Serve their Citizens.

They had a Pie Sale and I got Four Pies for Thanksgiving, Pumpkin, Apple, Sweet Potato and Pecan.  We're not big on Desserts but we are having Company that probably is.   My big ole' Pot of Chili had practically no leftovers, so we don't expect to have much Thanksgiving leftovers either.  Nothing goes to waste when it comes to food around here.  *LOL*  I dropped The Young Prince off at his Dad's last Night, they had Plans to go out and he's really getting along with his Dad's new Wife, which is great.  The Younger Siblings really Love her too and she's great with them, I'm so glad.  I haven't met her but I've only heard good things about her from the Grandson.  He liked the Mother of his Younger Siblings too and still keeps in touch with her so he can see his little Brother and Sister more often, we all Loved Angie. 

His Dad will be more the deciding factor if this Marriage works out or not?  But, he and his Son are quite close and enjoy doing things together now that The Young Prince is a grown Man.   His Dad has a Podcast and helps run some Clubs around the City, which is the Nightlife that The Grandson enjoys.  The area his Dad lives in is what the Locals there call "The Gayborhood" and has a lot of Gay Bars and Nightclubs, so it's an area The Grandson has always frequented and feels most comfortable in Socially.  It has a very active and trendy Nightlife.  So, I don't mind driving him down there and I guess he's met a Local DJ that he's enjoying the company of now.   I think it will help him to move on since Allen has drawn up the Divorce Papers and seems on Board now with them splitting.  Him going back now is to finalize things and get his stuff sent out to Arizona.

The Daughter is rather Obsessed with AI right now... LOL... and I did like this one coz it really looks like her without excessive enhancement.  I'm seeing on Social Media Pages that a lot of people I know seem just as enamored with playing with these AI generated Apps.  It's not for me, but, if they're having Fun with it, I must say it's just as enjoyable to see them in these AI Generated Images.   I saw an expose' on The News recently about the controversies surrounding AI and also about Genetically Modified or Genetically Engineered Foods being used now.  The GMO thing has reached a whole other level now in our Food System to produce it cheaper, and, the questionable benefits -vs- harm for Nutrition is quite becoming more controversial.  The whole Cultivated Meat thing is disturbing to me.  Lab grown Meat is too Dr. Moreau and Jurassic Park to me.  And is this what they intend to feed to the Poor coz it can be made so cheaply?

I found it all quite alarming coz we all know that Modifying Animals is what led to Killer Bees.  The greed to produce more Honey led to Science messing with Mother Nature and now we have these unnatural aggressive Lab altered Bees on the Planet that don't really know what they are.  Arizona has a real problem with Killer Bees and they do Kill and are just that aggressive, they're also eliminating the Natural Bees, which now are in threat of populations diminishing to alarming rates.  Long time Readers will recall my Killer Bee Story when Omar, our Neighbor, had a Hive of them take up residence in his Olive Tree and they attacked Neighbors and my Family, they even "Killed" my Old John Deere Tractor by swarming the Engine by the Hundreds!!!  They Hated any of our Hired Help coming to maintain our Property and after some ER Visits from being attacked, our Hired Help quit and my Family was afraid to leave the House!  Bees have Facial Recognition, so if they attacked you once, they remembered you and want you Dead!!!

It got to the point where even Pets and Neighbors Livestock were being attacked and even Killed, so the City came out and involuntarily removed the Hive from Omar's Family's Property and made them pay for it.  Even the Fire Departments won't mess with these Calls of Killer Bees anymore and it's expensive to have Bee Exterminators come out and eliminate the Killer Bee Hives coz it's very dangerous work.  They are so much more aggressive than Normal Bees and can become agitated so easily and are fiercely territorial and defensive about where their Hive is.  Omar's Elderly Dad kept thinking he could handle it and he was in way over his Head and nobody could convince him the Danger he was posing the Community by not getting Professionals out to eliminate the threat.  So, eventually enuf complaints came in to The City and they realized People and Animals were in grave Danger and attacks were escalating to where some Animals had Died.  They didn't wanna risk People ending up Dead!

 

The problem is they look so much like European Honey Bees that except for distinct Behavioral differences of being way more aggressive and swarming in bigger numbers, chasing you for longer distances, up to half a Mile, you can't tell the difference.  And of coarse the World needs Bees and we need to Save the Bees.   But with Science messing with Mother Nature, they Create some Genetically altered Monsters in the process, and usually with greedy motives.   They aren't just Creating Meat in Labs, they are Modifying Livestock too and I just take Issue with messing with Nature.  Just coz you can Create something doesn't mean you should or that it's ethical to.   Anyway, the Expose' was just disturbing, I'm glad I'm Old, I don't wanna know how fucked up some of all that might get in the Future?!  Some of the Documentaries out now are alarming in what they're exposing that is going on too, I try not to watch too many of them.  *LOL*

I thought I'd have this Post finished Yesterday, but, I had too much going on to get back to it.   It wasn't that long ago I had Nine Unpublished Posts, now, I got Blogging Blues sometimes.  I have lots to say, but if it's mostly Negative I try not to fall down that Rabbit Hole too far and Bottom Out.  The Blogging Blues to me means there's not as much to Blog about that is Uplifting and the Fluff of Life that makes for buoyant Reading.  Of coarse the Doom & Gloom does Sell and glean more Views really, but I just don't LIKE being Negative, I prefer to be Positive and have that Energy.  Lately that's been a real struggle, and not just for me, I see it across the Board now with a lot of Society being just uncertain and on Edge about the Future.  You can't predict what's gonna happen and that it won't be all Bad anymore.   We have a Psycho and his unqualified Criminally inclined Cabal of Vulgarians in the White House and let nobody Pretend otherwise, even devout MAGA can't Pretend anymore that this is Normal, Legal or beneficial.
