Real Life ~ Hard Knocks Life

Sidenote:  As previously mentioned, the 2nd Heart Surgery got delayed... and... the Assassin got caught and was none of the demographics the President Targeted for recklessly Accusing prematurely.  He wasn't a Minority {he's a Young White Male, as most mass Shooters have been}, wasn't Trans {he was a Heterosexual Male}, wasn't Radical Left or even from a Liberal or Democrat Family {his Family are registered as Republicans}, wasn't an Immigrant {Home Grown}, wasn't any of the Religions this Administration Targets for prejudice and persecution {he is a Mormon, not a Muslim}, his Dad is even a Sheriff.   So, whatever his Motives may have been for Murder, he's none of the Stereotypes MAGA and this President like to immediately blame for everything and for all violence, as if none of their own are ever violent and Radicalized.  Not that they will stop that pattern, it gins up their Base to always Believe all the rest of us are The Enemy and a Threat, without any Proof, Evidence or Truth to that broad brushstroke accusation.

 

 The Young Prince saw the Jigglypuff Plush I got his Sister for her Birthday and thinks he Needs it, she Laughed, they've always squared off for the same objects of desire.  *LOL*  She inherited all of his Toys as he outgrew them, since he's Five Years Older, which saved me a lot of Money when they were growing up, they just both Love the same stuff.  She and her Boyfriend Rusty went out Yesterday seeking some things they both Like and Collect, clearly Two Peas in a Pod as well, in what they enjoy.  She showed me what she got this Morning, so Cute, and part of her Birthday Gift from Rusty, he likes her going with him to pick it out, Wise Young Man.  *Winks*  She gets nice indulgent Pressies from her Gay Boy Posse too and Matthew is coming down from NAU to spend Birthday Time with her and Timmy, so they'll set aside Quality Trio Time.  *LOL*  Those Young Men have always spent a good part of their Paychecks on her and she indulges them all too, it's adorable.

Anyway, she can't wait to be 20 so she won't be a Teenager anymore.  *LOL*  Her Boyfriend and Besties are staggering their Birthday Time with her, each being considerate of the others, which is really nice.  Her Boyfriend knows how close she's always been with her Gay Boy Posse so he's not jealous about the deep Friendship, he knows Timmy and Matthew, they all have known each other a long time.   She said they all were the Misfits in High School, Matthew and Rusty being the Nerdy Academic Kiddos, she and Timmy being the Ultimate Special Needs Rebel Weirdos of Fearless Fashion and liking being different than the Status Quo.   None of them were unpopular Kids, they just didn't Care to be popular Kids either and had their smallish Inner Circle they were quite content with not expanding further.  At one time Straight Anthony was with them, but he kind of went off into his own Orbit before Graduation and seems to be doing well when we do run into him from time to time.  He Blossomed from an Awkward chubby insecure Teen into a drop dead Handsome confident Young Man, quite a transformation.

I'm seeing all the Online Banter about that terrible senseless Political Violence and Assassination of a Young Man.  I don't Care what Political Views a person has, they should be able to express them in America without threat of Violence and being able to have a Peaceful Exchange of Views.  This Administration has done absolutely nothing to turn down the volume and build a Bridge of Peaceful Protest between Political opposition.  They spew Hatred, Violence and divisive rhetoric constantly, pitting American against American and that can never have a Happy Ending or a Peaceful Outcome.  It recklessly foments the violence and magnifies Hatred, divides America further and it seems to be exactly their Game Plan IMO. 

 And the ulterior motives of people I already don't Trust and know is blatantly and unapologetically Corrupt, is always foremost on my Mind.  I don't know about the rest of you, but I haven't had any Confidence instilled whatsoever about what this Administration is actually all about and who they consider "The Enemy", coz, it's looking like they act like it's us, the half of America that didn't Vote for them?  They sure aren't acting like they're representing ALL of the American People after being Elected, as they SHOULD and without Bias and Weaponizing their Position!!!  They said in advance they would be on the Revenge and Retribution Tour of their "Political Enemies" and persecute us, Weaponizing the DOJ and any other means they can Illegally implement with no regard for The Rule Of Law and breaking the Law.  Their Track Record and M.O. speaks Volumes for itself, the level of my personal Distrust is high. 

 The President is already prematurely and hastily Tweeting out biased threats and reckless accusations against who he is opposed to without anyone even knowing yet or identifying who the perpetrator(s) even are who are responsible!?  This is part of why we're at this Political Violence escalation, blaming Half a Country for literally everything, whether accusing Radical Left or Radical Right, or Centrists, is not something any President should engage in EVER!  That can come off as a False Flag Operation actually, it's the M.O. for them in fact and leads to speculation it could be.  Trying too hard to tell the Public what we should Believe and come to the premature conclusion of, before an Investigation and Evidence is even provided, to give traction to a Staged Agenda, always raises my Suspicions. 

A Habitual Criminal President in Need of constant Cover Ups and handy Distractions to deflect from shit like the whole Epstein Child Sex Trafficking Involvement, well, they could all benefit from a Major Staged False Flag Incident that takes over the Media and all Resources, Freaks the Public Out more and gets their attention and escalates Fears already heightened, no matter how heinous a Crime it might need to be, like an Assassination, to pull that off.  Listen, I'm a very Cynical person if you spew shit desperately trying to be convincing and start something, and without facts, evidence and proof to back it up.   I don't Need to be told what to Believe and I'm not Stupid, I can engage in Critical Thinking and sift thru actual Evidence to draw my own Conclusions based on Facts, not some Alternate Reality shored up with Misinformation, Conspiracy Theories circulating and Lies, not tethered to Reality in any way.

  We cannot and will not stand as a Nation being this Divided against ourselves and our worst Enemies know this Fact.  Any House divided against itself will fall and self-implode.  America is so split and splintered right now that we're in deep Trouble becoz of it, there is no Unity, definitely no Unity of Purpose, we are no longer a UNITED States of America, I don't know whether we ever will be again actually?   Folks are enjoying vilifying other Americans and casting fellow Citizens as "Enemies Of The State", it's very Polarized.  I don't know who Assassinated that unfortunate Young Man, it seems like it COULD BE Political Violence due to his Ideology or who wanted to Silence him, I don't know the Motives until and unless they catch a LIVING Perp.   That's important, I find that in the sketchiest and most Questionable of Scenarios, the Perp usually ended up Dead and not captured Alive.  How convenient, I thinks.  Dead folks don't Talk.

Listen, if nobody wants said Shooter talking and Silenced, we'll definitely have a Dead Perp and we'll never know Motive or actual Affiliations.  Just speculation at best, at worst, whatever they want the Public to Believe and Buy into as a Staged Narrative.  So, until we get actual Evidence and Proof established and verified, I won't jump to conclusions based on just Opinions and Theories, coz everyone has those, you can make that shit up.  And either Murder is always Wrong or it's not, no in-between stance on that Issue, so, you have to decide what side of Murder you stand on?   And it seems America is in a Grey Area of Morality and Questionable Ethics and Conscience these Days.  Where anything fucking goes if someone decides they can try to justify anything, no matter how inhumane, criminal or heinous, to support their own Political or Religious Agendas and Point of View, and that's some Twisted Radical and Dangerous Space to Hold IMO.  Quite the slippery slope downwards, where Atrocities then happen on the Regular and with Public Support or Fearful Silence from any Opposition.

Even the FBI, with Nepo Hire Patel at the helm, who is grossly unqualified, jumped the Gun and said they had the Suspect in Custody, when they only had a Person of Interest, who didn't turn out to be responsible or involved at all!!!  That is very irresponsible and erodes confidence of the Public in the Institutions, when you have reckless inexperienced people put in charge who are hasty, sloppy and careless about what they say and do, then have to run damage control behind their impulsivity and incompetence.  The White House has to do that all the time behind this President and his Nepo Hires, it's a PR Nightmare for the ones who are the Cleanup Crew and Fixers.  Listen, I don't envy them the task they're burdened with trying to keep in line, it's like they're herding Feral Cats.  No wonder so many people who are Experienced and better at their Careers are Resigning at an accelerated pace now.   You don't even wanna be Guilty by Association when the Ship is sinking fast becoz the Captain and his Crew have gone Mental and has caused a Shipwreck and it's going Down fast. 

 I do Hope they catch whose Responsible, nobody deserves what happened to that Young Man, whether you Agree or Disagree with his Views and his Platform.  I doubt I'd of been in agreement with his Views at all, tho' I had no idea who he even was so had to Google some of what he stood for and did to become so allegedly important, when, frankly, not many had ever heard of him and he seemed off the Mainstream Radar.   He did seem to invite Open Civil Dialogue of Opposing Views to engage in an exchange, which, some might see as a Threat to Silence tho'.  It's gotten people Assassinated before who tried Unifying People based on actual Dialogue that brought Opposing Views together Peacefully to have Civil Exchanges, even if they will always Agree to Disagree.  Now on to Gyms, Lifetime keeps trying to contact me now to find out why I'm MIA?   Well, primarily, as I've told them a few times before since the First of the Year, that it's becoz of the Senior Restrictions they put on when Seniors are allowed to attend.  It conflicts with my Schedule to be only able to go to my Gym between the Hours of 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m..  

 Coz I'd always gone either very early, usually around 7:00 a.m. for my Workouts, or at Night, way after 3:00 p.m..  That's also when the Gym is less busy so I didn't have to wait on Equipment and had the Sauna, Showers and Changing Room all to myself.   Becoz of the fucking Ageism Restrictions now imposed since the first of the Year, too many Seniors are crammed in there between the designated Hours and we all tend to use the same Equipment, so now waste too much Time waiting to use it.  I don't have Time to waste, I got a busy Schedule, they assume Seniors don't, but most of us still do if we're still Working, still Raising Kiddos, or are Full Time Unpaid Caregivers.   I'm not some Idle Senior who has an Open Calendar and can do anything anytime I just want to and the Freedom to be Restricted to certain times for whatever I Need or Want to do... I don't have that Luxury and I've expressed it when they ask what the "Problem" is that I cannot attend with consistency.  It's coz of YOUR Restrictions and my Restricted Personal Schedule clashing, Period.

So, anyway, they SAY they want my Feedback and to tell them why I'm MIA, but, they don't really wanna Hear it in actuality, since, they're not making changes to remedy any of it for us Older Members.  They know it conflicts with some Members when they don't let us choose our own Hours to attend and use our Memberships.  I don't Care if they make Younger Members their Priority, but I don't condone Ageism either, to discriminate against any Customer/Client based solely on their Age.   We put up with enuf of that in other aspects of Life once you're a certain Age, I don't Need it with my Gym Membership too, but, here we now are and apparently it's not Illegal, or if it is, nothing is being done punitively to Companies practicing it.   I like Lifetime and don't wanna change Gyms with my Medicare Advantage Paid Membership, which I do Appreciate being part of my Benefits Package, otherwise, I couldn't even afford Gym Membership, Fixed Incomes are always more of a Challenge than when you have a Career/Job and Earning Potential.  But don't ask me for my Feedback if you really can't handle the Truth of what I'm about to say when I give it.   I don't sugar coat the shit.   So if you don't really want the unvarnished Truth, don't ask me.  *Winks*

I'm Writing this Post on the 11th and it won't Publish for about a Week or more from now.  So, I just got back from the ER in Real Time on the 11th where The Man is Hospitalized again for his Heart.  We'd gone to the Antique Mall and he just sat and visited with Friends while I worked my Spaces.  Then we went to Lunch and had a very light Meal at a favorite Mexican Restaurant.  He had a simple Cheese Enchilada, afterwards he thought he had indigestion.  But, it got much more intense, to where I knew it was likely his Heart and so we immediately went to the ER and informed all of the Kids what was happening with Dad/Grandpa.  The Daughter was having some Drama with her Boyfriend that I wasn't aware of, so I'd asked them to pick Princess T up from Work since I'd be at the ER for an undetermined amount of time and I called Princess T to tell her that Mom and Mando would be picking her up.   

Either they forgot or just didn't do it and so Princess T's Boyfriend had to do it when nobody showed up.  I don't know the Back Story of why Mando didn't drive The Daughter there to pick up our Grandchild, she can't Drive ever and doesn't own a Vehicle, The Son wasn't Home from Work yet to go get her, and so I was depending on Mando doing it since he'd agreed to.  If he'd given me a reason beforehand why he couldn't I would have tried to find someone else to, that's all.  But, I couldn't be Two places at once.  And it's stressful to be not have reliable backup during a Crisis, so I prefer folks to just say if they can't be a present Help, no problem if they can't be, I just Need to KNOW that tho'.  So, I think The Daughter and her Boyfriend may have had a Fight about what happened?  The Son said when he got Home from Work he saw Mando leave in kind of a hurry, looking like something was amiss.  By then he knew his Dad was in the ER again, since Princess T had gotten Home and told her Uncle.

Anyway The Son knew I hadn't eaten since a very early Lunch and it was almost Evening before The Man got moved to a Room, so he got me some Takeout and came to the Hospital with it.  Just about the time his Dad finally got moved up to a Room just before 6:00 p.m..  We'd been at the ER since about Noon and the ER Doc said I'd done the Right thing bringing him in right away, given his recent History.  They got him more comfortable and took him right away to the back to administer treatment, Nitro, other Meds, IV, EKG, Chest X-Rays, etcetera.  His Blood Pressure was quite elevated, and tho' he has chronic High Blood Pressure {Hypertension} and is on Meds for it, the Reading was higher than usual and he'd done nothing specific to cause an onset of the Chest Pain, it just suddenly came on out of nowhere.  He'd felt Fine until he didn't, he'd seen his VA Doctor just the Day Before and been Fine too.  This is how Heart problems usually manifest tho', you're often Fine until you're NOT.

We'll know what Dr. Singh wants to do whenever he comes in to see The Man and decides what's best.  I'm predicting he may move up the Surgery already Scheduled for early October, but probably can't wait a whole Month now?   We knew that 2nd Artery was very problematic and they were just giving him ample time to Heal from the last Surgery and Stint put in with the worse blocked Artery.  They'd of done them both if it hadn't been so complicated to do the 1st one and he ended up in Surgery almost 5 Hours for what usually takes 45 Minutes, so, clearly there was a Complication that arose.  I am Praying no Complications arise this time, but, they might, coz he is a very high risk Patient for any kinds of Procedures and why they rarely opt to even risk doing them.  He has no Elective Procedures done anymore and hasn't for Years coz of how risky it is for him.  But, some things aren't Elective and just must be done or you risk Death, so, it's one of those things now for him.  The risks have to thus be taken.

I am encouraged that after Surgery No. 1 he recovered very well with no Post-Op Complications and he Healed quite nicely.   So, since he had the 1st Surgery in the same place with the same Team, I know he's in very good Hands, they even remembered him from last time, coz it was only a few Weeks ago.  They remembered him being the Bee Sting Guy that the Bee had actually Saved his Life and identified that he had Two Blocked Arteries that could each have caused a Massive Heart Attack left untreated and had he not been Stung!!!  Anyway, that's all for now... since I'm Blogging way in advance of Publishing my Posts now, Updates won't be in Real Time usually unless I re-visit a Post Pre-Scheduled and sitting in a Draft Unpublished for now and add to it in Real Time before it Auto Publishes the next Morning it's Scheduled.

I just found out that "Studio 108 Collective" is Closing at the end of this Month, a lot of my Friends were Vendors there for the Two Years it's been Open.   I'll be saddened to see it Close, a great Shop with many of my Industry Friends who had Spaces there, but, I understand that it's just hard right now to keep any Shop going, no matter how Awesome it is or the Quality of Merch being Sold.   UPDATE: Just got the Call that The Man's Surgery is going to be in the Morning, they're not delaying at all.  So, his results must have dictated they immediately take care of that other Artery before it caused a Massive Heart Attack.  In Real Time I will Updating Unpublished Posts that will hit the next Morning now for how he's doing, since, I have a lot of Pre-Scheduled Posts Written some Days ago and not yet Published.  And, I might not have the Time or bandwidth to Post in Real Time, so I'm Grateful I have pre-scheduled quite a few Posts when I had both the Time and the bandwidth to.

When I had The Man in the ER, his Three Nurses assigned to him were feeling comfortable around us to be talking Shop.  I guess they're exceedingly short staffed but the Hospital isn't Hiring and the Head Nurse said it's all spread too thin and she would have to Train any Newbies, so waiting until they're slammed during Fall/Winter would be a terrible time to realize they must Hire new people.  I agree, but said nothing, I quietly just listened, which I always do when Strangers are talking Shop, becoz you can learn so much listening twice as much as you talk.  I'm not in the Medical Industry but I'm very concerned about it for a lot of reasons now it's headed up by someone Mental like RFK, Jr. and the Industry will have no choice but to respond to his bad decisions.  If Hospitals are understaffed but not Hiring that means they're already Financially strapped, no Budget to fill Positions needed, not good to hear, or to overhear.   People could Die when critical Jobs aren't filled and existing Employees are overworked and overly fatigued.

When we arrived there was a long line in the ER just to check-in, but with The Man actively having what looked like Heart Issues that were critical, they jumped us to the head of the Line and didn't even bother with check-in.   They did all of that while they were actually working on him in the back to stabilize him, which, I was grateful for.  But, I could tell they were slammed out there with Patients streaming in and not enuf Staff to cover it all.  They had problem Patients too, one Guy came in with what seemed like a stab wound and was Bleeding all over the Waiting Room, so Gauze soaked in Blood was all over the Floor still to sidestep.  Another SMI Patient with a Physical Emergency was there and required Extreme Caregiving and had no Caregiver with her, so the Nurses were bantering about who'd have to Babysit her coz she needed constant Supervision.  Otherwise, apparently she'd put ANYTHING into her Mouth and either swallow it or put it up her Vagina!!!  Swell... that had to be Fun Times for the already overworked and fatigued Staff!!!

   

They couldn't send her to Psyche until they got her Physically stabilized for the problem that brought her to the ER in Crisis Medically first.  She was only Two Rooms over from where they had The Man so I could hear how much Drama and a Headache she was causing for Staff.  Then they had some big Thug looking Guy who was either High, Drunk or just a violence prone Asshole, and likely the Stabbing Victim, who was becoming so threatening that they had to call Security on him and restrain him in order to treat him.  I could understand why he got Stabbed, he was being so much of a distraction from Staff being able to help other Patients that I wanted to Stab the Fool!  *LOL*  So, you get the gist, along with Patients like The Man actively having a Heart Crisis and requiring Three Nurses working on him at once, plus a Doctor, how hairy and chaotic the whole Scene was in ER for a Thursday Afternoon!!!   I can only imagine how much worse it would become by the Weekend in the City.  *Eye Roll*   That's when all the Freaks come out at Night and it gets REAL Interesting at the Urban ER's!!!  One of our Adult Granddaughters is an ER Nurse in Pittsburgh, so her Urban ER Stories are Epic!!!

The Son overslept so luckily I was up Early to get the Granddaughter to Work and noticed his Car was still here and Woke him up!  He's gonna be quite late to Work now, he'd been quite worried about his Dad, whereas neither of the Girls stayed Home last Night.  Princess T waited 'til I got Home from the ER and she knew her Grandpa was Hospitalized, before she left to go spend the Night with her Boyfriend.  We still have no idea where The Daughter is, she went more than a bit Mental when her Dad looked like he was having a Heart Attack and she couldn't get her Boyfriend back here to Help with the situation coz he was Vacuuming his Car at the Car Wash and not responsive to her urgent Calls.  She'd wanted to help me out and go with her Dad instead so I could rest up some, she knew I'd spent 3 Visits to Urgent Care with her Daughter in less than 2 Weeks already, Hours spent in Waiting Rooms and attending to Medical Crisis back to back already.  It takes a heavy Toll on you physically, mentally and emotionally.  I was stoic but exhausted.

The Daughter showed up this Morning, she had left with Mando but her Brother hadn't seen that so thought the Boyfriend had left without her and mebbe they'd had an argument/fight?   Turns out they didn't and had gone to a Job to help a Friend Move who was paying them to assist.  The Friend had a U-Haul and they just had to help him load it up with his things, the place he was living at got Sold and he had to be out before the Buyer could take possession, so it was quite a Rush.  When a Rental gets Sold Out from under a Tenant and the Buyer wants them Gone, they just have to be Gone or risk the Sheriff putting their things Curbside.  Arizona doesn't have good Renter Protection Laws and Evictions can be pretty expedient and expedited thru the Courts.  I know coz when I ran Foreclosure Departments for major Financial Institutions, once a Property got Foreclosed you needed the Occupants to be out immediately and so had to Evict them quickly once you took possession.

 

It's always a Sad Story for anyone needing to be Evicted for whatever reason.   So you can't get Emotionally involved or attached to the Outcome, just do your Job to protect the Asset, which, is the Real Property involved.  Evictions are way up now the Moratorium expired after the Pandemic and the Economy is in a tailspin again due to this Administration, escalated Rental Costs, escalated Interest Rates, high Inflation, Tariffs, Job losses and a stalling Job Market, etcetera etcetera etcetera, it will get worse before and until it gets better.  I don't know what to say, I have no Words so long as this Regime remains in the White House, shit's gonna continue to get Real.   Those in Denial will eventually have to Face their Reality coz it will all have consequences whether they do or they don't, it's unavoidable.   Living in a Fantasy or Alternate Reality won't Save any of them from Real Life and Hard Knocks Life... they'll only be less prepared to handle Reality, that's all.
