All Aboard The Crazy Train... Aye, Aye, Aye

 I'm so many Posts Pre-Scheduled ahead now so let's do a Two-Fer Post Day, why not?  *LOL*  Charcuterie was kind of a lame Fluff Topic, tho' it got a lot of Views, so mebbe more Interesting than I thought it would be?  *LOL*  So, now on to more Serious matters... the Social Security Checks didn't hit on Time again and I'd inadvertently mailed the Bills that it pays, so, all Body Parts Crossed now that they hit on Monday to cover everything?!   Splendid!!!   Don't know how the AG's Office Lawsuit is going against the Federal Government? Wouldn't have mattered, becoz Late Fees for delaying Payments cost as much, or more, than Insufficient Funds Fees Banks Charge, so we're screwed either way with unnecessary Charges if this Administration is cocking up our Pension Checks again.  And I told you all in the previous Post, I just learned from my Brother they JUST Raised the minimum Age to draw Social Security, since this Administration, to 67 now as a minimum and 70 for Full Benefits! 

 He turned 65 in early February and went to Collect and got informed, if he'd come before the Change in Administrations, he'd of Qualified still!  Now he doubts he'll ever Collect?  He thinks this Clown will keep increasing the Minimum Age further and further out so most Americans will have to Work 'til they Die and never Collect any!  Let them Eat Cake... it's all very Marie Antoinette, this Administration.  I do Hope they end up having their Marie Antoinette Moment of the Guillotine one Day, Elitist Fascist Fuckers... I just Hope it's not a 10-Year Challenge... but, I digress... *LOL*   I mean, how many Americans can still be gainfully Employed at between 67 and 70 without Age Discrimination and being replaced and Unemployable then, or being even Well enough still?  Risking NO Income and Destitution in their Old Age therefore at their most Vulnerable Season of Life?   Exactly. 

And so, let's look at Cakes shall we, for the Visuals?   And then End the Post with Grandkid and Great-Grandkid Imagery to decompress me after this Post. *Winks*  I began Collecting mine early, at Age 62 becoz tho' it meant a slight reduction in my Check, becoz I still had a Minor Child, she Qualified for an almost equal Check be given to me, so the Math skewed in our Favor, more than waiting for 65.  By the time I was 65, she'd of almost been Grown and Disqualified to receive her Check portion of it.  Not many Seniors of Retirement Age are still Raising small Children, so it is a rarer occurrence for that Scenario. 

 

And Yes, you NEED the extra Income as an Old Person, to outlay out of Pocket to still be Raising Children!!!  And me having to take Early Retirement, before I was Old enuf to Collect any Earned Pensions, due to being a full time unpaid Caregiver, meant I Needed my Pensions all the more.  Spouses don't Qualify for Stipends to be a Caregiver and Kinship Placement Family Members don't Qualify for Payment by the State like a Foster Parent not Biologically Connected would either, no matter how many Kiddos of Kin you take in to Raise.

This is why a lot of Kiddos end up in Foster Care rather than with Family, most Family cannot absorb that Cost to be a Kinship Placement without enormous hardship, if, they can afford it at all.   And the State doesn't Care if they can provide nothing for the Support of Children who are Wards of the State and force it on the Dime of extended Family instead.  So the Structuring and Qualifications aren't likely to change to Favor placing Children in the Care of Kin rather than Strangers, most of whom are only doing it for the Money.  Yes, some do it for the Right Reasons, but there's not real Vetting REQUIRING that Criteria.

 I've known numerous Adults who grew up in the Foster Care System and the vast majority, with only a few exceptions, didn't have a great experience being Raised by the Strangers and were turned out once the Checks quit coming.  Which is why Foster Kids don't fare well after Aging Out of The System and transitioning, coz the Foster Families often forsake them when they don't come with a Check anymore.   And the PTSD of being in The System all their Childhood Alone is sufficient to Need a Lifetime of intense Therapy usually.  Even when a Foster Child CAN be Adopted, they mostly aren't.   And is someone gonna take them in permanently, assuming all the Costs, if they don't get a Check to do it?   A Rare few do and genuinely treat that Child as their own, many don't and won't.

Anyway, enuf of Broken System and those being perpetually defunded and cut to the Bone.   It's like the Homeless situation, people unhoused gotta Live somewhere... it's just a Natural Fact.   But Affordable Housing for even Low Income Earners is scarce as Hen's Teeth, let alone those with no Income, or profound Issues that often cause them to be without Shelter.  I don't have all the Solutions, but taking all they have and bulldozing their meager existence is NOT a Solution to the Problem of those without Shelter or a means to be Housed.   We'd be more compassionate about Domestic Animals without Shelter, Food, access to Clean Water, basic Healthcare, than we are Human Beings without it.  

And Supporting Cruelty and lacking Critical Thinking has become problematic in America now.   Most people fail to even discern Facts and Truth from mere Opinions and intentional or unintentional Misinformation and Lies.  And those being given access to Power seem to become less and less Qualified to have it and use it for the Good of the People or the Nation.  I find it to be deeply disturbing, even when information is made available, people have to want to access it, fact check it for themselves, and use any Critical Thinking before running with whatever information they've gotten from whatever Sources may or may not be reliable ones.  They fail to understand that a lot of these Sources they decide to Trust, make Money off what they do that makes them the most Money, whether it's Trustworthy Information, Fabricated, or not.  Sometimes the most Controversial Issues make the most Money by falsifying what people are most willing to 'receive', 'believe' and run with.

And often what falls out of the Mouths of People, out of the abundance of their Heart and the Mouth then speaks, tells you who and what they are, so, pay more attention to it.   Below is a prime example of something said quite openly by this President in the Past... and WTF does that mean when any Man says that about his own Daughter(s)?  Yeah, pretty Creep Factor, and Sexualizing your own Child in an abnormal Skin Crawling way, any way you Cut it.   Should we have ever been Surprised at how many Victims he racked up as an adjudicated habitual Sexual Predator and Rapist then?  I don't think so.  Probably many knew and said nothing or covered it up over the Years.  Probably numerous Victims were intimidated enough, threatened enough, silenced enough, or Paid Off enough to keep Quiet.  Since Powerful Men with Money can Buy Off a lot of people to curry Favor and escape consequential Justice for who they Victimize. 

And now to decompress... coz I just don't wanna re-write this Post over yet again, Thrice is enough.  *LOL and Le Sigh*   I'm watching some Old Black & White Popeye Cartoons on Boomerang Channel as I'm Creating this Post.   And we'll end it with a Wordless Trio of Pixs of Great-Grandbabies and a Granddaughter whose their Mama.  Because the Children ARE the Future of America and will Inherit whatever we've made of it and have to hopefully Be The Change we will Need as a Nation... to even have a Future worth Inheriting as we move even further into what it holds for our Nation?
