My New Fridge Post was a Bust, I guess it was too boring and upbeat a Topic... Fridge Pixs... what did I expect, that ya'll would be as Excited about it as me and the Kids are about a New Appliance? *LMAOROTF* Even The Man showed absolutely no Interest, I don't even think he's looked at it yet!! What's Wrong with you People?! *LOL... Eye Roll and Bwahahahahaha*!!! I'm a whole Unpublished Post ahead tho'... can I get a Whoop Whoop!? The Man is settled in to being at Home, his BP is good, his Blood Sugars are good, his Appetite is good now he's getting Home Cooked Solid Meals again. *Smiles and Winks* And, he seems to be getting better Oxygen to his Brain since the Transfusion and they are asking for Oxygen to be Approved for Home, which should be Helpful too with his shortness of Breath Issues and Mental Confusion. He's more alert now, enjoying his Programs, and Behaving himself, so, the Caregiving of him is lessened from what it was prior to his Hospitalization, when he was looking like he was Circling the Drain and fixin' to just Die! *Whew*
So now that he doesn't seem to be Tormented by the 'Monsters' in his Head that previously were terrifying him, he's not so anxious or panicked either, is feeling less vulnerable and more secure and safe. I'm relieved, nothing I can do when the 'Monsters' in your Head are after you, not much I can say to offer comfort for what seems Real and is Hallucinatory, due to Oxygen deprivation or Psychosis going on, so I'm Glad we're not Dealing with that now and him yelling out 'Help!' all the time anymore. *Whew* The Family are more at Ease now too coz he's Acting and Looking Better than he did and his Head is in The Game again. The OT and PT will be set up here at Home again, along with his Nurse Visits, and Hopefully he'll Feel Well enuf to do the OT and PT now more often when they come? His Wheelchair is being Delivered by the VA on the 12th.
As for the Psychiatric Help from the VA, I will see if he's still on Board for that? He said he was, but, now he might waffle about it, since, we think the majority of what was going on was more Physically related. Yes, he has TBI and onset of Dementia, but, he's not Behaving as concerning as he was and he's no longer saying he doesn't wanna be here anymore... which is a vague statement and not entirely specific enuf to know if he means himself or anyone else harm. But, I'd like him to go see Dr. Patel in Mental Health to just discuss how he Feels about his Physical deterioration progression, if nothing else. Coz it is a bitter Pill to swallow even if it's all related mostly to the Physical deterioration apparent and he's Dealing with. We will ease into that.
The Son was saying Two Days of Four Hour Shifts unloading Semi Trucks and going up and down Ladders, he's Feeling his almost 40 Year Old Legs now! *LMAOROTF* He's always had very Physical Jobs, and been Fit for his Age, also used to being the "Elder" now in the Trades, any of them. But, he has been out of steady Work since before Thanksgiving and went a bit Soft Physically during this lengthy Layoff. Plus new Motions always are a Killer 'til your body adjusts to the Range of Motion you'll be doing for Hours on End. *Smiles* Most of the Employees there are half his Age so he doesn't wanna Feel or Act like he IS the "Old Man" they think of him as, too much Vanity. *LOL* He doesn't look his Age and so he doesn't wanna seem like he's ready yet to be put out to Pasture. *Winks* Forty is the New 65 to Employers. *Le Sigh*
I knew when he's doing Environmental Cleanup with me and Sweating Bullets and I haven't even broken a Sweat at all coz I do this all of the time, that, re-starting a Physical Job was gonna make him Feel it. *Winks* The Son Tapped Out on Environmental Cleanup deep in the River Preserve before I did and marveled that I could keep Pace with The Young Prince's level of Energy, since, his Nephew is 25 and I'm about 3x his Age. Adult ADHD does give one a Freakish abundant Energy clear into your Senior Years tho'. The Son has ADHD too, so his Mind spins like mine does, he's Autistic, and Bipolar, so, quite often we match each other's Energy Levels even tho' he getting Older and is 39 now. He said people Young enuf to be his Kids tell him he has more Energy than any of the "Old Guys" they know. *Bwahahahahaha*
No disrespect, they say, but you're Old enuf to be my Dad! *Ha ha ha* And Princess T added, to Save Face for him, Yeah, but my Uncle would be the HOT Dad. True that. Coz all her Friends always tell her she has a really Good Looking Uncle. *Smiles* I forget what Princess T's Generation call the Hot Dads, but, they have a Name for them. Oh, now I remember, a Zaddie!!! *Winks* Well, The Son isn't a Dad, but he would be considered a Zaddie by her and The Young Prince's Generation and that makes him Feel better at least. *Bwahahahaha* I had laid down to take a Short Nap at Noon, didn't end up waking 'til Princess T called when she got off Work at 3:00 p.m. to get picked up!!!
Granted, I'd had the Three In The Mornings this Morning, and taken The Son to Work by 5:00 a.m., then her to Work by 7:00 a.m.., then done Environmental Cleanup just after 7:00 a.m. for about Two Hours, then picked The Son up from Work at 10:00 a.m., so it's been a Full Day already. My Old Body Needs Naps now. *Le Sigh and Laughs* I kinda Stalled on the Decluttering for now but I did get all my Pantry Items put back where they belong when I refilled the New Fridge, so, that part is done and I didn't even Need the Minions to Help me, I did it Solo. But, Princess T and her Mom did tackle some of the rest of the Kitchen, cleaning the other Appliances and organizing Cupboards, Drawers, filling Donation Boxes of what is Excess or never Used and we don't really Need that was cluttering up Space. The Man has been Happy as a Clam at High Tide now he's back Home so he's been absolutely no Trouble. The Son made us all Lunch when he got Home from Work, and I took my Nap after Eating. The Kiddos said I was Dead to the World and they couldn't even Wake me up. So, The Grandson had found a Book I got a long time ago that you're supposed to fill out and left it in my Room on my Computer Seat. The Name of it: I'm Dead Now What? When I finally Woke Up he said I should fill this out. *Bwahahahahahaha* Kids... But, he is Right, I bought it for that Purpose and it would be Helpful.
Along with the Wild Lovebirds that often show up, there are some escaped and now Wild Parakeets in the Mix too, they do quite well in this Climate when they Escape into the Wild and build up a Breeding Population. We get them here at the Mini Farms quite often coz we're like an Urban Oasis and have Trees almost 70 Years Old now. The Daughter is Cooking Dinner, I was supposed to make a Grocery Run and pick up some Bottled Spring Water but never made it there, due to my long Nap and now I don't Feel like going. Rush Hour Traffic has started and tho' the Grocery Store is only a Half Block away, I don't wanna take 20 Minutes in Rush Hour Traffic to get there and try to find Parking... so... mebbe Tomorrow? *LOL* Yes, I know all the Dangers of Plastics getting into our Cells and building up. But by the time they alerted the Public of Microplastics contamination in our Bodies, shit, we've been drinking and eating out of Plastics now for too long to run sufficient damage control behind it anyway, so, fuck it. I don't intend to become an Immortal anyway... besides... I have that Book that The Young Prince rediscovered and I'll be filling out. *Winks and Laughs*
He was bragging that I'm really gonna Like what he's doing to the Art Studio Space he's Occupying. I'm almost Afraid to Look!!! *Insert Scared Look on my Face... be Afraid, be Very Afraid my Gut is telling me!!! LOL* He's already Gaying Up the Side Outside Entrance Door, so, I can only Imagine what he's changing in my Art Studio. Which, BTW, before he and his Mother moved back Home, WAS my Art Studio Space and I had it Decorated again after he and Allen moved out of it. So, I don't even know why I bother to Reclaim Space anymore here at Forever Boheme'?! It's pointless and futile to even try to. So, anyway, when he does ask me to come take a Look, when he Feels he's Finished in there, I just don't wanna have another Stroke about it or a Heart Attack, that's my Goal now when they Change anything of the Space we're Sharing. *Smiles*
I did finally go to "Safeway", had been Jonesin' for some of their Cake, Tarts and Fresh Fruit, which are the best. So now we're stocked up on Fresh Produce of Veggie Trays, Fruit Trays, Salads and Patisserie. We prefer to eat a lot of Fresh Foods and I also had Earned a Discount on Gas at "Safeways" Gas Pumps outside of the Grocery Store, so I filled up and Saved about Twenty Bucks. Plus, most of my purchases in the Store were on Sale right now too of what I needed, including the Bottled Spring Water. That Store is just outside of Litchfield Park, which is a more affluent Community with a lot of Retirees living there, so the Store stocks a lot of what that demographic likes and I happen to like, that you can't just find everywhere. I took Pixs which I'll Save for the next Post of the Food Porn. *Smiles* But, I have included a bit of Food Porn in this one for ya. You're Welcome. *Winks*
I'm going to try to discipline myself to tidying up the Clutter in all the Rooms starting Tomorrow, now that I have all Essentials bought and Errands done. We have a break from Appointments so if I chip away at the Clutter one Room at a time and get it squared away, I'll feel better about my Housekeeping being caught up on. It's been deferred, and of coarse when we were swapping out Major Appliances, a lot had to be moved out of the way too. Now putting everything back where it belongs and removing what doesn't belong in the Main House is the Project at Hand. I'm going to try really hard not to clutter it up again once I get it all cleared out and curated. We'll see how that goes and how long I can maintain that discipline?
During May our Social Security Checks will come about a Week later than they did in April. But, they'll come earlier in June and July. I finally found a site that told me the projected Dates we'll get ours, based on our Birth Dates. His is the 18th of a Month and mine is the 16th of a Month, so very close together and so we get our Checks at the same time of the Month. I should get a decent Check from the Antique Mall again, Sales ticked up, mostly due to what I was bringing in that folks are Buying more of. You can't be a Purist and only wanna Sell the really Good Stuff, especially Antiques or Vintage Items and High End Collectibles, or you don't make any money there on a consistent enuf basis. We just don't have the Demographic coming in to Buy it very often. And we no longer have any International Buyers and Pickers like we used to attract before this Regime left the International Community Feeling Offended, Betrayed, and Unwelcome.

Tourism is in Crisis coz few International Tourists, most Americans can't afford it now and are cancelling their Vacays due to Inflation and Gas Prices, and just staying Home. So the Service Industries and Restaurant Industries are struggling again, probably as much, if not more than, they did during the Pandemic. Some barely Recovered from that. Then Tariffs, Bad Policies and even Lack of Policy, mass Deportations and illegal abductions without Due Process to fill ICE's Concentration Camps, and this illegally waged War, have upended everything. I don't know how America will Recover from any of it fully, if at all? And I'm Sick of seeing how he's illegally tearing apart Historical Features of Washington, D.C. to install gaudy, tacky, tasteless Gilded hideous replacements, which are as tacky, hideous and tasteless as he is, at enormous Taxpayer Expense. I mean this is a Guy whose fucking ORANGE!!! How many other Orange folks do you know? It's beyond bizarre, it's completely Mental!!!
So, I turned on "Antiques Roadshow" and then some Travel Channel that's going thru Tropical Amazon South American Countries and now Rural Texas, showing you the best of it all. That's not gonna be Stressful to watch. I'm Blogging more than watching any of it, so it's more background sound for now and a glance every now and again, I'm not Big on TV, most of the time I don't even have it turned on. In fact, Rural Texas was Boring and not nearly as Interesting as their coverage of the Amazon Rain Forrest, so I did turn it off. I've been to Texas, nothing worth going back for to where I have visited there. But, I have wanted to go see "Magnolia Pearl's" Flagship Store and Carol Hicks-Bolton's Store in Fredericksburg. Mebbe Rachel Ashwell's Prairie Bed & Breakfast in Round Top. Mebbe someday, we'll wait and see. My Friends have been already and said I'd enjoy crossing it off my Bucket List. They did say The Gaines' place in Waco wasn't worth seeing tho'. One of my Friends took his Wife to Chip & Joanna's Bed & Breakfast for their Honeymoon. He said it was overpriced and just Okay, not worth the outlay.
Texas Heat and Humidity was a bitch when I visited many parts of the State in the 1970's, so I visited my BFF there and never returned. I have Family and Friends who live there tho' and they have an Open Invitation if I ever change my Mind. Allen's Family is from Texas and are 3rd Generation Texans. So The Young Prince went a few times, never wants to go back. It's really not a very Welcoming State for the LGBTQ+ Community, so he didn't even feel Safe in most parts being openly and Fabulously Gay. He totally understands why Allen stayed Closeted almost all of his Life due to the Environment he grew up in. Allen still works in Texas while living in New Mexico, which is barely more tolerant and progressive, but not much. The Young Prince Hated it there too and was relieved to leave. Rural Arizona can be as bad actually, but Urban areas are not so Deep Red and Extremist bent on their Politics, Religion and outright Prejudices and Biases.
The Son is glad he's concentrating on the New Job at the Dollar Store coz the Subcontract Job is looking iffy for Payment. Not unusual for Subcontract Work, sometimes you never get Paid for the Work you already did. So, he's not having that or wasting valuable Time and Labor for nothing either. I had told him to be cautious about it due to Contractors in the Past often stiffing their Subcontractors and never paying them for Work already done. He's worked a few Days and not received Payment yet, so he told them, he needs payment up front for what he's already done or he isn't interested in doing more and waiting on his Money. Especially if they're already making excuses about Costs and shit, sounds like they might not even get Paid and the Job is already halfway done and the Client is Happy, so that's not the Problem. Sounds to me, like either the Contractor is pulling a Donnie Two Dolls, or they Underbid the Job? It was a lot of Work he did already... and no compensation yet for it.
Anyway, at least he has this Part Time Job and he's liking it and it's a Solid Company that isn't having Financial Crisis. Right now a lot of Companies are and perhaps many are not paying their Workers or having trouble making Payroll, or Filing Bankruptcy, or Selling Out to Asset Strippers. Right now you have to go with a sure thing even if it pays less and has some Benefits and closer proximity, given the current Global Market concerns. I'd rather he is working somewhere very close by where he doesn't have to worry about transportation or the costs of it. Isn't stressed out with the Job all of the time. And enjoys the Work that he for sure is gonna get Paid to do after he's put in the Hours already, with a Solid Company that's not struggling right now to stay solvent and can meet Payroll, doing Right by their Employees. Problem is low pay and not full time Hours tho' at most Companies now that have Openings. So, you almost see everyone working 2-3 different Jobs all the time.
The Kid's Friend Amber is working Three Jobs right now, one in the Medical Field and Two part time Jobs, just so she has a livable income coming in. And, she is living with her Boyfriend at his Parent's Home so they can Save enuf Money to Hopefully get their own place or Buy rather than Rent. That's the situation now for most Young Adults Aged 20-45 so it's become a problem for Two whole Generations already. Teens expect to not have the Ideal Job or a Career yet, but once you're Grown you want some Financial Security, some Benefits, a Livable Wage, and not have to be relying on Elderly Parents or piling up with Friends to share Rent in order to remain Housed and afford just the Essentials!!! A lot of College/University Educated are also Underemployed right now, so their Degrees aren't working for them and they have enormous Student Loan Debt to repay on top of that. Most now feeling that Higher Education was a Ripoff and a Money Making Scam only for the benefit of the Institutions profiting off it all. I always thought College was mostly a Money Grab and a lot of what is required is unnecessary and redundant for what you're going to be making a Living/Career at doing.
HUMANA is sending a Nurse from Home Health out this Afternoon between 2:00-3:00 p.m. to resume The Man's Home Care, I don't know if it's just Nursing Care {which we already have the VA Nurse Remi for that}, or some OT or PT Care? I'll know when she arrives, she sounds Foreign, thick Accent, which off the cuff sounded African, but she was pleasant and we've had Excellent Foreign Born Specialists, Doctors and Nurses, in fact, most are Foreign Born now in those Medical Fields. I Hope he can understand her tho', he's not great with Accents. I'm good with most Accents coz I grew up with a Foreign Born Mom who had one and English wasn't her first language, tho' she was fluent by the time I wasn't too Old, but, I still had to Interpret for her 'til the Day she Died. Most Americans had trouble with her Accent too, and Mom was multi-lingual, she could understand and speak more than Two languages.
Allen showed up here at the House early this Morning, which was unexpected. The Young Prince had told me he was coming to Arizona to bring the Divorce Papers for him to Sign. And bringing Tyson, coz he couldn't leave the Dog unattended. I didn't know if a Motel would allow a Pit Bull so he'd asked me if Tyson could Board here during Allen's visit and I'd said Yes, but didn't think Allen would be here very long to drop the Dog off. I assumed they'd meet somewhere very Public and do whatever they intend to do to get that Divorce Situation squared away. But, since Allen has been Drama & a Headache and not Safe due to Threatening behavior and talk off and on, I didn't want Drama and a Headache from him whatsoever here. I got enuf going on.
The Young Prince said the Motel lets Allen check in at 3:00 p.m. and it's only 9:30 a.m., so I said to make sure they're always somewhere very Public for Safety reasons. I don't Trust anyone with a Temper whose either been Physically or Verbally Abusive in their Past. And they never Earn my Trust back once that Line has been Crossed. I have Zero Respect and even more Zero Tolerance for anyone whose Domestically Violent towards those closest to them. Allen and Mando found that out the Hard Way coz I don't Play, once someone exhibits they have no control over their Temper and Emotions, have Anger Management Issues, and make any Threats towards anyone I Love and Protect, they get Dark Dawn always from then on. Be Well and fucking Be Gone. Permanently Gone. I don't Wish you any Ill Will, but I don't want you around anymore either and make that abundantly Clear that now we have NO Relationship.
The Daughter and The Young Prince, being vulnerable Adults with Significant Serious Mental Illness Disability and very Poor Judgment/Limitations due to it, tend to be prone to Co-Dependence. And they're more Forgiving than Yours Truly is, once someone has Crossed Me, and especially if they pose a Threat to anyone I Love and Care Deeply about, you better watch your Back now and keep One Eye Open at all times around me. I don't Trust you and I will not Like you anymore. I don't Care how Good to ME you've been in the Past, it's the Present now and you royally fucked up by showing your True Colors of being an Abuser. And I'll NEVER Trust you again... those Behaviors not only never actually Change, they tend to Escalate over Time and when anyone Tolerates and Accepts that Behavior. Behavior Tolerated is always Behavior Accepted. I have Zero Tolerance, Zero Acceptance of it... FOREVER.
Anyway, Dear Tyson was thrilled to Death to see me again and he was running around the back Pasture and rolling around in the Grass in pure Ecstasy, Bless him. I gave him some Water and made sure all the Gates were tightly Closed, he's a Good Dog, but some new Neighbors have unfamiliar Dogs to him and he's nosy. He's a Gentle Giant, not all Pit Bulls are aggressive towards other Animals unless Trained to be, most tend to be very magnanimous and goofy. They're not the smartest Breed, more like a big and powerful dumb Jock of a Dog actually. And Tyson is an Old Dog now and has always had a Beautiful Temperament, he Loves everyone he meets and all our Friends and Family Adore him too and Spoil him rotten. We do miss Tyson. *LOL* I know our Grandson misses him a lot, he was like their Child. But, he was Allen's Dog before they ever met and he'd never try to take Tyson away from Allen. Even tho' he spent the most Time with the Dog while Allen Worked... and did everything for his Care.
Tyson actually has had Professional Dog Training, so he's very disciplined and was Trained as an Emotional Support Animal. He doesn't wear the Vest often, but he doesn't mind being dressed up in it, or wearing anything you require him to wear. He's so obedient, most people's Kids aren't that well Behaved or well Trained. *LOL* Of coarse I've seen most folk's Dogs Behave better than most folk's Kids these days. So, Tyson is romping around and rolling around in the Back Pasture. I'm sure the long Drive was hard and being set Free to run was liberating after coming from New Mexico back to Arizona... it's almost a 10 Hour Drive. I don't know Why Allen felt he had to Hand Deliver the Paperwork rather than just Fed Ex it tho', so I'm leery of his intentions, since his Emotional State has been all over the place since they broke up, are Separated, and our Grandson insists on a Divorce now. Allen's Stepdad and Maternal Grandpa brought our Grandson and all his Possessions Home and didn't want them having any more contact as terms of Bankrolling that.
Our Grandson agreed to those Terms, we agreed it was Best too, and it's Allen who kept violating the Terms his own Family set up and he apparently Agreed to or they wouldn't have done it. He's not Honoring that Promise and I doubt he ever Intended to, he's still very Angry at his Family and the reconciliation is Fragile at best with his Parents. I feel Bad for his Family, I think this has been a Pattern and why they've been Estranged from their Son for Years. They only reconciled AFTER he and our Grandson became a Couple and got Married, the Parents came here for the Wedding and we like his whole Family, he comes from a good Family. That said, they are Fundamentalist Christians from West Texas, so I don't Need to say more than that about their intolerance for Gays. They have been Okay with our Grandson and were very nice with us, even tho' we aren't your Garden Variety Family so that probably gave them Pause they just didn't show. *Bwahahahaha*
But, The Man got along fabulously with Allen's Stepdad, I got along fabulously with his Mom. When I met his Grandpa I really liked him, he's not only a Cattle Rancher, he's a Retired Prominent Texas State Prosecutor and genuinely Nice Guy. He and his Wife Raised Allen mostly and are Closer to him than his Parents. Allen has an excellent Work Ethic and is hard working, his Autism gets in the way a lot with how he interacts with People, which, isn't unusual when you have that Condition and he has it pretty bad, worse than The Son on the Spectrum, but, is Highly Intelligent and High Functional also, like The Son is. No ability to Mood Regulate is common with Autism and that's also pretty common to have way Above Average almost Savant IQ even with the level of Disability and Limitations it causes Socially or Behaviorally. He takes Meds for it but they're costing him $300 a Month and so perhaps he's gone off them, I dunno? If AHCCCS had not Approved The Young Prince recently, he'd of had to quit taking his Psyche Meds again too, they wouldn't be Affordable and he has NO income or ability to be Hired and Gainfully Employed.
You might find this as Amusing as I do, but I had one of those Religiously Fanatical Trolls show up on a previous Post and become Pearl Clutchy and Offended about me using Profanity. *Oh the Horror and Gasp! and LMAOROTF* I fail to understand people who deliberately show up somewhere that they're certainly Welcome to show up, but, take Offense once they're Voluntarily there... and it's just the Wrong Place then for them to be, Read, Watch on TV, whatever. So, just Leave, stop Reading, Turn the Channel... Be Well and Be Gone then, you aren't REQUIRED to be here. You aren't forced to STAY either, it's not Mandatory or Involuntary. How Shallow and Disconnected from Real Life can you possibly Be? That Profanity alone has your Fixation and not Real Life Problems transpiring around you and fellow Human Beings are going thru!?! But, he's allegedly some "Super Christian or The Christian Police", in his own Mind. So Typical of the Hypocritical!!! And a very Poor Witness or Representation for Christianity I might add. Anyway, it had been a long time since I'd been visited by a Troll or a Bot. And usually I Amuse myself at their expense... coz it can be such Wicked Fun to actually. Wind their Asses Up and then watch 'em GOOOOOO! *LOL* Posts can be a Bust... or a Hit... or just some Wicked FUN!!! *Smiles* After all, our Blogs are our Personal Space to do whatever we want with it. And The Land Of Blog, for the most part, is filled with a Wonderful Community of folks who either Blog or visit Blogs. With very few minor exceptions of the Problem People. Who, probably are Problem People in their Real Lives too, I highly Suspect. I've met some Real Life Problem People and they really do seem like quite pathetic Tortured Souls and so malcontent that they want their Misery to have Company. If they had Contentment and Joy, or Real Relationship with their Creator rather than a Form and a Fashion of their Legalistic Religion, I doubt they'd remain so Problematic to Society and would exude the Fruits of the Spirit and project Love instead. I pity them... you really only can pity the pitiful.
I Priced a bunch of Inventory this Morning, did some Environmental Cleanup after I took both Kiddos to Work. And did some decluttering too!!! I'm working one Room at a time and pacing myself tho', coz it can overwhelm me when deferred housekeeping crept up on me and clutter abounds. I always Magnify it in my Mind, it's not even all that bad and doesn't even take all that long in Reality, to address. But, making rapid fire decisions can be Mentally exhaustive to me if I try to do too many all at once in my Personal/Private Life. On a Professional Level I was Tireless about making extremely important Decisions rapidly and efficiently for the Problems my Employer needed a Fixer for. So, it's just kinda an Emotional thing, Business to me is never Personal and thus is never Emotionally regulated by me. I don't Feel any kind of way about it, it's just Business to me.
But, it is hard not to Feel some kind of way about your Personal Space and Sanctuary. I always want it to be Functional and Visually Pleasing, surrounding us with what is Beloved. Both the Beloved People and the Beloved Objects we've spent a Lifetime procuring. Anyway, the Nurse from HUMANA just left, some OT had come earlier that we weren't even expecting and didn't have an Appointment on our Calendar so I wasn't even Home when he came!!! The Man didn't know who he was and claimed he'd never seen him before, The Son said he didn't know either, so I'm not even sure which Agency that person was from and that they shouldn't have just been Cancelled? This Nurse is a fill-in for John, whose come regularly. Wendell is no longer coming and he was approved for only a few visits by HUMANA, Nurse Remi from the VA is on Tuesdays and Pre-Approved. I don't want him inundated by Home Help coz it may overwhelm him... and us, to have too many different people coming all the time.
But, I must say, the Home Visits Help the Insurances have been good about Approving. It's the Emergency Visits and Inpatient Hospitalizations that can be tricky to get anyone to Cover and Pay for even when absolutely necessary. It's not like you're getting "Approval" first when someone is having a True Medical Emergency that needs immediate Care and intervention or they'd risk Dying. We don't abuse or misuse Services or our Insurances, becoz we don't like going to Hospitals, ER's, Urgent Care or even Doctors and Specialists Offices unless it is absolutely a necessary visit. It exposes you to too many Sick folks who could be contagious and we have comorbidities and are Older, so we have more Fragile Health and compromised Immune Systems.
This Nurse was very Nice, Young, and also from Africa. The Man did very well with her Accent and she didn't mind repeating what she said to make sure he Understood. I always use his Hearing Loss and mine as an excuse for repeats, we both have some Hearing Loss so people are kind about that when they know and don't mind repeating themselves. Right now I have Allergies and the Hearing Issue with my Left Ear from Irrigation Water during that Senior Slip and Fall recently. So until all that clears up my Hearing is shitty right now too. I sat out in the Pasture with Tyson and he Calmed Down enuf I did get some great Pixs of him. Usually he's far too Animated to get good Pixs of, he's just a blur before the Lens. *Smiles* But, most of them I took were in focus this time. He had Lantana Flowers all over him at one point... coz he'd gone around leaving Pee Mail on every Plant on the Property... 'til literally he wasn't even peeing anymore, none left in him, just lifting his Leg up in Vain to mark Territory. *LOL* He's such a Big Baby and is Happy if he's just laying by you in Silence, so I did sit out there with him for some time in the Shade of the Pecan Trees. It's a gorgeous Sunny Breezy Day and only 73 Degrees Today, so, nice to be Outside in. So I also snapped some Images of our Property and some of what's Blooming right now, since, it's Spring, so everything seems to be in Blossom. Thus, Why we're all having Allergies, but, I still Love Springtime regardless, in spite of the heavy Pollen content in the Air that can aggravate Allergens you might struggle with. Part of my Ear problem is due to that actually too, every Spring...
Scenes from the Back Acreage where Tyson and I were hanging out together. My Queen's Wreath Vines are doing very well this Year and every Season they are a different Color when they Bloom! From the Palest Pink or Salmon to a Bright Pink, Deep Red, Hot Pink or Vibrant Magenta. The one in a Pot on the Porch is a different Shade, lighter, this Season than the ones growing along my Fencing, which are more Mature Plants now. I grew the Potted one from Seed since it's hard to find them at local Nurseries. I got a Bargain on the one on the Fencing a few Years ago coz it was the only one they had at a Huge Plant Nursery and they felt it was dying. I resurrected it easily once it was put in the Ground, they're very hardy and even when they appear Dead, they're usually not and just Resting and will spring back to Life. They're one of my Fav Vine Plants... I LOVE Vines.
Our Lantana out Back has seeded itself everywhere now along the Fence Line. It's the variegated Confetti Bloom Color that is Pink and Yellow out around the Pasture. We have the Red and the Yellow Lantana too. A Deep Yellow Bush around the Pool. And in front of the House a mixture of Red, Yellow and variegated Confetti Pink-Yellow, but that huge Hedge is mostly the Red. For some reason our Pool Guy HATES Lantana and tells me I should get rid of them, but I Love 'em and it's our Property, so I never Care what other folks Love or Hate when it comes to my own Landscaping Choices. The Lantana too are extremely hardy for Arizona's Heat and drought. They make a lush Bush, can be trimmed harshly and bounce back, and Bloom Year Round so Hummingbirds, Bees and Butterflies Love them and provides them with a Year Round Natural Nectar Food Source. And anything that attracts the Butterflies, Birds and Bees, and Feeds them, I want in my Garden. So long as the Bees don't make a Hive here. The Leaves of Lantana smell like a pungent Mint too.
Anyway, I got Pizza and Garlic Bread Knots and the Older Black Employee who works there gave me The Hood Hookup big time. So he gave me a FREE Brownie Pizza, winked at me and said, it's on The House Darlin'. I don't know if he was flirting with me or just Hookin' a Sista Up? *LOL and I gave him my best flirty Smile back and said Thanks Darlin'. Winks* The Son always Jokes that a lot of the Brothers must assume I'm a very Bright Skinned Black Woman and it Amuses him no end. Coz he has been asked if his Mom is part Black before... and I'm quite the Heinz 57 Ethnic Mixture, but as far as I know, none of my Ancestors were Black. Just The Young Prince has Black Puerto Rican Ancestry that we know of for sure. Of coarse Ancestry dot com did have me as 21% "Other of Undetermined Origin", so, ya never know? *Smiles*
Especially when the Older Black Guys openly flirt with me and tell me how much they Love my Hair and Eyes, my Kiddos think it's absolutely hilarious. And then bust my Chops about being such a Stunning Grey Eyed Dreadlocked Light Skinned Black Woman, that I could easily get me a Black Boyfriend who might have a Fetish for Mixed Gals. *Winks and LMAOROTF* Anyway, I can't eat Brownies but my Family can, except for Princess T, who has the same reaction to Chocolate as I do so we don't eat it. And I appreciated the 'Gift' of it, a nice Surprise when my Order was ready. I think I bought too much, one Pizza would have sufficed coz everyone only ate part of one and I still have all of the other one left. I got some Garlic Bread Twists, which, I LOVE, so they're gone. I liked the Pepperoni-Ham Pizza, it was really good. The other is just Pepperoni. The Young Prince will pick all Meat off his coz he doesn't eat Pork Products due to his Food Issues with some types of Food. He and his Sister have significant Gut Issues. I have a Stomach like a Goat.
Public Sentiment about the Economy is at an all time Low since 1952!!! Wow, and it's gonna worsen, so Public Sentiment might just Bottom Out. The lower the numbers go perhaps the more Change might be prompted and forced into Being? The Damage Control is gonna be expensive to run behind this Regime, who've destroyed so much and wasted so much. I find it very Strange that those who profess to be "Conservatives" are okay with and staunchly Support the recklessness and financial irresponsibility, waste, fraud, extremism and Criminality of this Administration, and even Imagine that it represents them and any "Conservative" Ideals!!! A Conservative Philosophy has Historically been defined as someone who favors Tradition, Established Institutions, and gradual Change over rapid, radical innovation. It usually emphasizes Stability, limited Government intervention, individual Freedom, and strong National Defense with Caution, Moderation and Traditional Styles, over Extremism or Radicalization. This Regime is the Antithesis of any and all of that.
I do find it very Interesting tho' that Donnie Two Dolls was confident enough to Call it when he said his Supporters would back him even if he Killed someone in the middle of Times Square. He knows his Audience well and those he can Con and gain the Confidence, Trust and Support of no matter what. I guess most Cult Leaders have Studied the Behavior of those they can Target for Manipulation, Exploitation and Weaponization... I think it is a 'Type' of Person prone to attach themselves to a Cult and allow themselves to be so brainwashed and easily Influenced, that they will literally Believe the most outrageous and absurd that you wouldn't think any Sane or Rational Person could possibly fall for and accept as Truth and their now "Alternate to Reality". Low Emotional Intelligence and Low Self Worth are definitely gonna be susceptible to Cults and Extremist Philosophies. Worshipping who they think is a charismatic Person without Question seems to appeal to Cult Members. And of coarse Cults Target vulnerable Prey, becoz Cults are Predatory and want to take Full Control of their Subjects. MAGA is a Cult.
