In Real Time it's only the day after my Birthday, but I'm numerous Posts ahead by now. *Winks* Mando and The Daughter had gone and Worked all Day at a Dirty Job cleaning out Barns, to earn me some Birthday Money to give as a Pressy with a humorous Birthday Card to put it in, Bless 'em. Then they worked tirelessly on removing the Gravel in front of our Wall out Front of the House in preparation to lay the River Rock Mosaic to make it look tidier and discourage Grass or Weed growth. They're putting the Gravel in the RV Garage Mahal Driveway leading up to the House, which is still Gravel and Dirt, not a Cement Driveway like the Main one. I like having Two Driveways becoz it affords us lots of Parking for Family and Guests. The previous Owners ran their Trucking Business out of the Art Studio Space, which was their Office Space, and The RV Garage Mahal. So, you can Park a huge Semi in that Driveway and large Semis could fit in The RV Garage Mahal and beside it as well. We now have our 5th Wheel parked beside it as additional Living Space for Family.
So, they want me procuring more River Rocks and they'll be doing it also to get enuf for The Project, which, is a considerable one an Acre Wide in front of that Wall. They Laugh tho' that my Prettiest or "Special" Rocks I set aside and aren't for the Mosaic at all. *Bwahahaha* I got a bounty of Wishing Stones for example and won't be using them for that Project, and they think that to be hilarious. After I saw what Wishing Stones were commanding Online, I wasn't risking them getting taken from in front of the Wall's Mosaic once it gets laid. I know, that sounds Crazy, but... if anything has Value and is Tempting, these days it could grow Legs and Walk Off, just sayin'. In fact, we had an incident with our Neighbors Old Sons, TJ and Rob, just yesterday that involved quite a few Police, I'm told!!! I was out Celebrating my Birthday so I didn't say it, but The Family said it was some Epic Drama and even had Detectives that came over and Interviewed them about the Incident, since Rob had tried to shift 'blame' over here in a deceptive way!!!
Okay, let me lay out the Scene, Mando had his License Plate turn up Missing one day about a Month ago. He wasn't sure if it had been loose and just fallen off, or if it had been Stolen? Thieves do Steal License Plates for loads of nefarious reasons involving Criminal Activities or to avoid getting their own Tags renewed... which you can't do if you have outstanding Violations and such. So, anyway, Mando still had his Paper Tags and was waiting 'til he had the Money to go replace his License Plate at the DMV and report the other one was Missing and he didn't know what had happened to it. Well, lo and behold that License Plate turned up on our Neighbor Rob's Big Truck!!! Which is a very expensive relatively New Truck and the Cops popped him for it not being his License and tracing it back to who it did belong to, which was Mando! So, tho' he's not a Neighbor, he had the Paper Tags on his Vehicle, which is at our House next door to Rob's Parent's Home, almost all the time. So, they came over to interview us too while Investigating the discrepancy of Rob having a Plate on his Truck that wasn't his!
He'd told them we loaned the Truck to him and it's OUR Truck!!! Which, of coarse that wasn't True... and they could see the Vehicle it belonged to was on our Property so asked if we or Mando had "Loaned" the Plate to the Neighbor?! We told them No, and Mando explained what happened, that his Plate had indeed turned up missing, but he'd put his original Paper License back on his Vehicle until he could advise the DMV about the Plate being Missing. He said it had turned up Missing at our Home, but he assumed it had just come loose and fallen off, or been Stolen while parked at our Home, he didn't know for sure, so, couldn't say. We verified that No, NOT Loaned, No, that's not our Truck and should be Registered via it's Title to who it actually belongs to, No? Then we found out Rob changed his Story to his Brother TJ giving him that License Plate! And, TJ's Daughter is with a Guy whose been incarcerated for Vehicle Thefts before and they own a big Property with Acreage just a City Block away.
It always has loads of Vehicles, Recreational Vehicles and Semis parked all over that Acreage... now I Wonder if it's a Car Theft Ring and they're swapping Plates to disguise the Vehicles matching up to Stolen ones? The Police gave Mando back his License Plate and the Detectives were Retired Marine Corps. Special Forces Guys so they bonded with The Man over all of that. But, it sure was a very interesting turn of Events, that's for sure, and I feel badly for our Neighbors, who are the Elderly Parents in their 80's, coz their 60-Something Year Old Sons can't stay out of Trouble and both Men have Stage 4 Cancer so may be doing illicit things to afford their Treatments, I dunno? Neither is Well enuf to Work anymore and Social Security/Medicare doesn't pay for a lot of things. That doesn't justify any illegal Activities, but a lot of Seniors end up doing shady shit to avoid their Medical, or to get by, including but not limited to even Selling their Medications, so, can't say I'm Surprised either. I just resented them implicating us with Lies to the Police to deflect Blame or think we'd back up their Lies, which we won't, nor will Mando.
I think I mentioned it before that Mando Served 13 Years for a Murder he didn't even commit and until DNA Evidence cleared him of the Crime. So he served Hard Time as a truly Innocent Man and lost a great Deal of the best Years of his Life in Prison for something he didn't do. He still has the Newspaper clippings of his Conviction, Accusations, and then the Exoneration and Release with Apology that they Imprisoned an Innocent Man and got the Wrong Guy! You can never get those Years back, and he got Stabbed and Assaulted several times while in Prison, becoz he once Saved the Life of a Female Guard who was gonna be viciously Assaulted by a Crazy and Violent Inmate already in there for Rape and actual Murder!!! Other Prisoners don't like when anyone helps Staff, even if it's the Right Thing to do. But, Mando is no Criminal, so he couldn't allow a Woman to be Raped, savagely Beaten and perhaps Killed without getting Involved. It put his own Life in Danger to Save hers and he had nothing to gain and everything to lose by doing it, coz he'd been given a Life Sentence and not cleared of the Crime at that time.
The Woman's Family actually helped him out considerably upon his eventual Release, when he was cleared of all Charges and exonerated of the Crime he was Wrongly Accused of and Convicted of by a Jury. So he said you never can be sure Justice is going to be foolproof or even Just. So he doesn't wanna be even mildly accused of anything ever again that someone else Lies on to cover for someone who is indeed Guilty of Crimes and deflecting Blame using some Scapegoat to Save themselves! We know Rob had done Time in the Past, I don't know for what, I never asked him or his Family, but he has been Open about having had a very turbulent Past... so has TJ. Their Parents are good decent People so it's brought them much Shame and ruined the Family Good Name quite a bit. The Elders have been pillars of their Community and successful Business Owners, they are still Dear People and I know they don't want the Drama and Headaches wayward Adult Children are still bringing to their doorstep. Both Men still live at Home, so it comes to the Parent's Doorstep to have the Sons get into any Trouble.
The Daughter is a Convicted Felon. I had the whole Sheriff Joe Arizona Post Card Collection from Jails back when she was always getting locked up either in Penal Institutions or Mental Health Institutions on this side of the Border. She's also Served Time in various Mexican Jails off and on. Tho' mostly they considered her an International Liability coz she's so Crazy and didn't mind being Institutionalized so sometimes wouldn't even wanna leave, they'd have to Force her to, both here and in Mexico. *LOL* Anyway, she said she didn't appreciate Rob Punking Out and not Manning Up to whatever he did and involving out Family and her Boyfriend at all. So, she and The Son, and Mando, had a Come to Jesus with Rob about it... don't put our Names in his Mouth when it comes to anything he's involved in, Capiche? It was funnier when I came Home and they had told Rob, Listen, you REALLY don't want Dawn/Mom coming over here and having this Conversation with you involving her Family, she might go Postal and totally Mental on your ass, plus, it's her Birthday, so, that would threaten to ruin it!! *LMAOROTF* He IS fortunate I wasn't Home for any of it or I would have been fucking Triggered!
Anyway, The Man said the Detectives and Cops were very Friendly with our Family, but told us that the Neighbors Sons were involved in some shit, so just be Aware of that Fact. I think if both didn't have Stage 4 Cancer and are in not so good Shape, they'd of been Arrested, pretty sure. But, I doubt The System wants to have the expense and complications of Arresting Dying Old Men. And they probably want the Bigger Fish in whatever this all involves anyway... pretty sure those Guys are not the Big Fish at all or Shot Callers. The Daughter agrees, she's known some Shot Callers and she said the Sons next door don't fit that profile at all and are too sloppy and incompetent to be in charge of anything. I would have to agree, the Kingpins are not stupid like that and don't call Attention to themselves unnecessarily. But they will Use someone's Crisis against them if they sense desperation in folks who might succumb to the Temptations of committing a Crime in exchange for Money needed. And lets face it, Dying Men have nothing really to Lose.
I know Rob had previously mentioned his Pain level now cannot be controlled and his Cancer is quite advanced, so they aren't doing anything now for him Medically. And TJ might be in worse shape than his Brother. I'm not Judging... I don't know what I'd do in desperation or with nothing to Lose... most of us don't know 'til it's us. And, I Honestly don't think TJ or Rob would Roll on whoever is Calling Shots, for fear something would happen to their very Elderly Parents or other Loved Ones if they did. TJ has Kids and Grandkids... I don't know about Rob, don't know he was ever a Parent, he never speaks of Children or Grandchildren, just of Nieces and Nephews and their Kids. I don't pry into the business of Neighbors, even if they are Friends. Unless someone volunteers personal information I feel it's none of my business and I'm on a Need to Know Basis, and mostly I don't Need to Know in most cases. I don't like people getting into my business either, I'm a Mind Your Own Business kinda Gal. *LOL*
But, I do keep it 100%, coz I can't stand Liars, they can't be Trusted any more than you can Trust a Thief either. A little Lie or a petty Theft is just as bad to me as a Big one, coz a Liar or a Thief is only separated by the level of their Opportunity to commit a bigger one. Now TJ and Rob have shown to me they Lie and Steal, they've broken Trust and will never now get it back with me. Anyway, eventually you Learn a lot about People with Observations over Time. Moving On... Today I think I'm just Chillin', I did all the Fun on my Birthday I can handle so need a Down Day to recharge and recuperate. *LOL* Yeah, I can only have so much Fun now before it's Enough Fun. *Bwahahaha* I was gonna go get more River Rocks but it's Hot and Humid already at 8:00 in the Morning and I'd woken up with a horrible Nightmare Dream that Freaked me Out coz it seemed so Real. I won't give it Life by relaying it either, Superstitious like that coz it didn't seem like a Premonition, just a Bad Dream that came out of Left Field.
I made The Man a Spam and Eggs Breakfast coz he wouldn't eat the one The Son made for the rest of us but I know The Man Loves his Spam and was just being difficult for the Kiddos. Melina and The Son were cooking everyone Breakfast but he claimed he wasn't Hungry and they won't make him Eat, I will. I ensured he'd taken his Morning Meds in front of me and then TOLD him he was having a Spam and Eggs Breakfast I was Lovingly Cooking for him to Eat... no Arguments ensued and he's happily gobbling it down. *Eye Roll* This is why it's hard for the Kiddos to fill in for me as his Caregiver, he can be very difficult for them and resistant, they don't want to be insolent since he's an Elder, so, it puts them in a delicate spot sometimes. Princess T is the least apt to put up with his Nonsense, followed by The Daughter, and then of coarse he knows better than give me Nonsense or he'll be Dealing with Dark Dawn and not Dawn Of The Light. *Winks* Nobody likes Dealing with my Dark Side much, so they don't offer to Invite it unnecessarily. I'm a very Nice Person until YOU give me a Reason NOT to be. Then it's On!!! And the Gloves are Off!!! *LOL*
So, he's Spammed Up nicely in front of some Hawaii Five-O Rerun this Morning and all the Kiddos have their better Halves over, who just spent the Night, which is Fine, more Hands on Deck to do my Bidding. *Winks* I fed them Birthday Brownies and Sweet Corn Cookies, so, they're quite Animated on Sugar Highs, so have loads of Energy to disperse. *Smiles* Melina said she can't Believe how many of the things she Loves to Eat I also Love to Eat, like the Sweet Corn Cookies!!! The rest of the Family don't like them, and she said it's probably an Indian Thing and they're too watered down to appreciate it perhaps? *LMAO* She's got a Wry Wicked Sense of Humor so fits right in here. She reminds me of my Dad's Dry and Wry Sense of Wicked Humor he always had. Dad was Stoic but his Humor was cutting edge whenever he would say a few Words, and he was a Man of few Words, but they'd either be Profound of Wickedly Funny in a Deadpan Delivery. Melina said that's the Native Way, don't Talk much and whatever you do have to say either better be Important or Wickedly Funny in a bent and twisted Wry and Dry way. *Smiles*
Princess T is at Rusty's, they spend the Weekends at his House and the Weekdays at ours now, due to The Cat. Eli was misbehaving and Acting Out coz she was gone too much, so, they have to consider "The Kid". *Bwahahaha* Eli likes Rusty and Eli doesn't LIKE anyone but his Human, so, I think he realizes he had to suck up or his Human might choose the Boyfriend over him? *LMAO* He was losing Ground quickly so had to redeem himself some by being Okay with Rusty coming over and being in the Room he Shares with his Human, which, usually he's very Territorial over and will attack anyone coming in except her and I. I'm more the tolerated Staff and I do have him Fear me even if he doesn't Respect me, so, that Works for me and we have that Arrangement. I don't give Two Shits if the little Bastard LIKES me or not and he seems to sense that, tho' I will Spoil and be Good to him and Kind, if he Behaves himself and stays in his own Lane. Otherwise he gets Dark Dawn too... and even tho' he can Scare his Human when he goes all Psycho Cat, I told him I'll fuck him up if he thinks he's got Big Enuf Balls to Square Off with me... and, he hasn't Tested me on that Promise. *Winks*
The funny part is he ONCE tried to Claw at me and Bite, just becoz either A: He Forgot his Place ... or B: He thought I was someone else for a Second? And Mid-Bite and Mid-Claw he looked up at me and made Eye Contact. Ruh-Roh. I had stood Dead Still and given him my Crazy Eyes, without saying a Word. So, he instantly turned the Bite into pretending he was only gonna Lick me Lovingly and retracted his Claw quickly from my Pant Leg he had snagged and now had trouble getting unhooked. *LOL* It was so instantaneous a Switch and so exaggerated a Flip-Flop, that I couldn't help but Laugh out Loud. And he rolled over exposing his Belly and giving me his most Angelic Face he could muster, all so feigned and faked. Hilarious. He can look positively Demonic and Possessed when he goes Psycho Cat, he gets Shark Eyes like Mentally Ill Humans do. And Princess T has seen enuf Crazy around here with People that she does get Scared if he gets like that. And comes to get me to Set him Straight so I can reprimand him and then he'll pretend he Loves her and didn't do anything Wrong at all to her, it's just as hilarious, coz I know he had been Evil just moments before towards her coz he was Mad at her for something. Usually he is very Loving with her, but he has his Moments... and so does she... so... they do Spar sometimes. She can be quite Pre-Demonic too.
Crazy Pamela, her BFF, once threw a Bible at her at a Sleepover and it had to be thus cut short when they were Tweens. She came Home telling us Why she was Home so early and her Brother, The Young Prince, a Teenager himself at the time, deadpanned, "Well, it was the Right Book..." *LMAOROTF* Indeed it WAS, that Child can go from being The Golden Child to being Pre-Demonic Ratchet on the Turn of a fucking Dime, she doesn't Mood Regulate Well at all. Even her Mom has now said, "Wow, when she goes Dark, she's a Force to be Reckoned with, isn't she... I didn't know she had it in her!!!" To which I just say, "Well, she is your Spawn..." *Bwahahahaha* Princess T and The Daughter usually will only apologize to Yours Truly when they come out of the Bag for almost no apparent reason and go Mental. And it can be for the most random or perceived thing, quite often, when she or her Mom goes all Ratchet Bitch on your Ass. Once they have Calmed and Centered themself, they will always come apologize to me, since, I usually won't Engage when they're clearly on The Crazy Train. And they know I won't, becoz Two Crazy Trains colliding will just be an Epic Train Wreck with potentially loads of Casualties in the Wake of it. *LOL*
The last time Princess T went Off Rails with me was on a Ride Home from her Work, and she was Venting about being Upset with him and telling ME Why. Not that she'd told HIM Why. *Eye Roll* He was still Clueless and trying to figure it out as she ignored him and his Texts now and being Pre-Demonic towards him and Ratchet as all Hell. It was when she perceived I was taking Rusty's Side, when she was mad at him for some Trifle, that really was Funny and blown all out of proportion by her, and I made the Mistake of NOT taking it Seriously, she says, and making a Joke of it. Which, I did, to give levity to a situation I thought she was blowing all out of proportion and wanted to give her some objective perspective on over-reacting. Ruh-Roh, fatal mistake Gramma! You see, the Boy can't Read her Mind and so often he doesn't even know what he's supposed to have done Wrong... and it's not like she will tell him either... so he just has to give a Blanket Apology and try never to do this unknown thing again to Piss her Off. Yeah, poor Soul, he's Dead in the Fucking Water, but, he's in Love, what can I say? *Bwahahahaha* She apologized to me Moments later coz when I Shut Down she knows now she's Courting Dark Dawn if she takes it further. *LOL*
Be Mad at me, I don't really Care, I'll forfeit The Need to Be Right about anything just to obtain and Restore Harmony and no Casualties of Battle. *Winks* So, then she said, did I really think she was Wrong for being Mad at him for whatever it was? And I told her I was trying to see her Point of View, but, I did think she needed to at least let him know what he'd said or done to make her Upset, coz him just Guessing isn't good Couple Communication. So, when they got together later that Day, after she'd percolated on what I'd advised, she said they Talked about it and now there's no Trouble in Paradise... GOOD! Move On... *LOL* You see, if he Texts her while she's Gaming, she'll Answer the Text. But, she'd Texted him while he was Gaming and he hadn't responded. Ruh-Roh. Then after he wasn't Gaming she wouldn't respond to his Answer or subsequent Texts, so all her knew as she was Mad!!! And what she had Texted him had required an immediate response at the time.
She was Buying him something from her Chazza she thought he might want/like, shot off a Pix of it and asked "Yes" or "No"? He didn't respond, then didn't even give a conclusive Answer when he finally responded... and then she just Bought it and said he BETTER Like it NOW! Yikes!!! And to make it Funnier, she's now Liking it enuf she doesn't wanna give it to him anymore and wants to keep and wear it herself, OMG!!! So, what's the Problem or Issue, Right?! *LMAOROTF* He's probably NOT getting the Shirt. *Bwahahahaha* Or, if it hadn't fit her so well and looked so good on her, she might have Set it on Fire in front of him, I dunno? *LOL* She is my Grandchild Raised by me and Spawned by her Mother after all. *Winks* Mando now jokes that there clearly is a level of Matriarchal Insanity that runs in this Family and isn't to be Trifled with... and he pities the Fool that does... he could be Right? *LOL*
And AI keeps Introducing itself to me here Online as my "Sidekick", but I prefer to go it Lone Ranger, I don't Trust AI and don't like it. I even had a Toy Guy at our Antique Mall who Trades in Vintage/Collectible Toys on a mass scale tell me he won't get involved in the Labubu Craze coz he thinks the Chinese have put Spy Devices in them. He wasn't Joking either and it got me to thinking, they already Claim there are Chips in them to "Authenticate" if you have a Real One or a Knock Off, so people wouldn't even be Suspicious of the installed Technology in them. So, he could be Right? It's installed in the Foot of each one that is a Real one and not a Knock-Off, so I'm glad now the Two I got Princess T are just good Knock-Offs, just in case? *LOL* The Man said the Military has known for Years that a lot of Spyware is in Electronics Devices, which is why in Classified Areas like where he Worked, you couldn't bring any of it even into the Building. And we know our Phones are Listening in to us and our Computers, it's no closely guarded Secret they are.
I was talking to The Son one day about something I had seen here Online for him but I couldn't remember the Site and his Phone dinged while we were Talking and brought up the EXACT Thing for him to View, he turned it around and said, is this it?!!! It was. Yeah, it's unsettling, isn't it? Anyway, if every Home in America with Young People ends up with a Labubu as well as their Phones and other Tech Devices made in China... the Infiltration is Deep and Complete. *Winks* Okay, now that I got you all as Paranoid as I am about Technology, Spyware, and AI particularly... Winks... what else should be Talk about over Coffee? *LOL* Gawd I do miss having a good Ole Chinwag with my own Peers sometimes. Lately I'm surrounded by a Host of Good Company, but from the Generations of my Adult Kiddos and Adult Grand-Kiddos mostly, and it's not quite the same, what you find yourselves talking about. Even tho' they are Delightful and can be Friends now we're all Grownups. If you're over 18 I CAN be your Friend. *Smiles* And frankly, most of my Generation around these parts is talking about their Ailments and Bitching about insignificant Trifles, and bashing the Youngsters, which, I don't Engage in those Conversations... Boring AND Annoying!!! My Eyes just Glaze over and I know I'll get in Trouble if I Speak my Mind in that Demographic Orbit, coz some Pearl Clutching will ensue, pretty sure. *Winks*
I've Listened on the Sidelines, which, is where I prefer to remain and Stay, keeping my Peace. Coz, frankly I don't Care enuf to get involved with Gossip and Shit Talking, or listening about what Aches. You're Old, it's gonna Ache, it's been Used for Six to Eight Decades or more to Serve you as a Vessel, it has a Right to be Wearing Out and Breaking Down, Move On already, you'll be Dead soon enuf! Yeah, clearly I know I have No Filter and thus, if what I'm about to say isn't an improvement over Silence... *Winks* The Adult Grandkids and Adult Kids tell me I have NO Patience with Old People, even tho' I AM One, and they'd be Right about that, I don't... and I have to be Tolerant on Purpose now or I just can't be around most of them. Or I'd be in Trouble all the time with them. *Bwahahahaha* I'd be like Princess T was when she was Five and an Old Lady Vendor who was a Chronic Complainer at the Antique Mall, who we Nicknamed The Black Cloud, thought she'd Ambush us as we walked in to tell of us of her latest Aches, Pains and Complaints Ad Nauseum. Princess T didn't miss a beat and brushed by with her Hand Up {Talk To The Hand Style} and simply said, "We don't Care..." *LMAO*
And Yes, I was THINKING it too, but just didn't say it out Loud, so I almost wanted to give the Child a High Five for Saying it for the Both of Us!!! And usually the Kiddo is reverently Respectful and Kind to every Elder, as she should be and was Taught/Raised to be, but that One she'd had enuf of already. As had we all! And everyone said such things behind the Woman's Back anyway, which to me was much more disingenuous, coz they were Posers and faking it to her Face. Nobody had the Guts or Decency who was Close to her, to confront her about being a Black Cloud Person, speaking the Truth in Love, so she could self-reflect. Not that I think it would have done any good, it was baked in to her State of Being and she may have always been a Glass Half Empty person and Whiner? She seemed to Delight in the Negative Nelly Attention she surrounded herself with constantly, it seemed hard for her to be Positive or Happy in fact. And, we can't be around such people becoz then our Tolerance for them wanes and is exhausted, it's just too Toxic and a complete Downer. *Whew* I can be Sympathetic to a Point, and then, Christ on a Bike, give it a Rest will ya?! It fails to arouse Pity at some point and only incites Irritation.
But, I do miss a good ole' Chinwag with the right kind of Contemporaries of my Generation, most of who are Dead now or have moved away in Real Life, so I don't really have it in me to Seek New Ones and Replacements. I'm kind of all Friended Up at this juncture, I don't know I can or want to Invest in Newbies to see if it all Works out... or doesn't? In The Land Of Blog it's less Tricky, if someone doesn't Work Out, or a little bit of them goes a long way with you, your Contact is relatively Controlled in effortless ways that can still be mutually satisfying Socially, in an Online Cultivated Relationship. I LIKE that, I've made some meaningful Friendships Online here in The Land and I know I'd probably get along just Fine with some of the Blog Friends in Real Life should we ever Connect in that way too. In fact, I have met Blog Friends in Real Life and it's like we were always Real Life Friends, just via the Blog Contact being that Special. Plus, most Blog Community totally ROCK and seem to find their Tribes here better than in Real Life, just my Opinion based on my own Experiences. If you Tolerate my Blog well enuf, chances are you'll Tolerate me well enuf too... *Bwahahaa and Winks*
