I should just Sleep in my fresh Street Clothes so I can hit the Road Running the next day. *LOL* Seriously, Mornings start too early, I'm just not a Morning Person and am more of a Late Night Vampire Type of Person really. I've almost always Worked Nights and if it wasn't for Family needing me up Early, I'd Sleep Late. The Mornings are beautiful and much Cooler, but, damn... early roll call is brutal for me. Unless I can't Sleep and never went to bed for being on a Manic Bipolar High where it's a brand new day and you never did go to Sleep.
We gotta get Money sent to Mexico early, as soon as Wal-Mart Money Gram Opens, so the Oldest Grandchild there can enroll both her Sisters on time for High School admission and pay Tuition for the start of this new School Year. I'm relieved Princess T agreed to front the Tuition for the one Sister who was short her Tuition Costs, whew!!! It's way cheaper than here in America, since starting School here would have meant taking out a small Loan to cover it. At least in Mexico it's not as prohibitive per Child. The News was saying it's around $800 now per Child in expenses to start School locally. So glad I am done with that, FINALLY!
I'll be glad when the last Two in Mexico are Graduated so we don't have to sweat helping pay for School and Summer School for the Special Needs one. Education is important and I just wish it were Funded better, I don't know how financially challenged Families can afford it at all now? A Public Education is supposed to be no Cost, but it does Cost. And School Lunches, for what they feed them in unhealthy Foods, is ridiculous priced per Day. My Kids insisted on bringing Food from Home coz it was expensive, unhealthy and gross to eat what the Schools offered. No wonder so many Families have to Qualify for the Free Lunch Programs.
When Princess T finally Graduated, tho' it took longer due to her Special Needs, I couldn't have been more relieved, it had been a long arduous Journey. Time flies by tho' when yours aren't in School anymore, so before I knew it the Schools had begun again and it had seemed no time since they'd just gotten off for Summer Vacation!!! They're going to School just as I'm taking Princess T to Work and we have to drive by the Elementary, Jr. High and High School to get to her Job. It's only a City Block, but, gets busy. So Traffic is challenging again with Student Traffic and Rush Hour Traffic going to Work at 6:45 a.m.. Even earlier on Tuesdays at 5:45 a.m., coz she starts earlier that day. I'm glad it's close by tho'.
She hasn't been bugging me about learning to Drive now, or about looking to Buy a Car, tho' she's still madly Saving Up for one. I think her Anxiety is playing on her coz she sees how hectic Traffic is, even in the short distance between our Home and her Work, and she doesn't wanna Deal with driving in it as a New Driver just yet. You can't really have a Panic Attack whilst Driving and that's her concern. I think she'll do just fine once she Learns, but, Honestly, I don't wanna be the one to Teach her, tho' she is adamant I should be the Chosen One. *Eye Roll* Her Boyfriend and many Friends of ours have Volunteered to, she's not having it, she wants ME. *Le Sigh* Por Que', I'm a lousy Driver Mija!? *LOL*
So, I gave The Daughter the Money her Daughter is fronting for the Sister in Mexico to continue her Senior Year in High School. So, that Emergency averted last Minute. I had The Daughter translate for me, to the Oldest Grandchild there in Mexico of the Trio, that next time, please don't hesitate to tell us earlier of any pending Crisis involving asking us to Bankroll something crucial. Sometimes I think the Mexican Born Grandkids assume America is so affluent that all Americans have Money and can pull some out of our Asses on the turn of a Dime? *LOL* Granted, we're not Poor by any means, but, on a Fixed Disability and Pension income, with a Three Generation Household to support, and some of the Family Members too Disabled to Work and unable to Qualify for reduced Medicaid/SSI Services this Regime is cutting... it's challenging sometimes.
We have FINALLY been getting our Social Security Checks on Time now, after the Arizona AG's Office threatened the Federal Government with a Lawsuit about it. I think they mostly messed with Swing and Blue States to disrupt Income flow and scare constituents? I haven't heard of anyone in a Red State that had their Social Security disrupted by the Feds, but those of us in Swing and Blue States sure have and our AG's have had to threaten Legal Action. Our State AG contacted constituents about it if we were Retired and our Checks were being disrupted or held back from being received, it was causing financial Crisis. I was incurring Late Charges and Fees due to it, since both of us are Retired from Government Jobs too, so our Pensions also were potentially at risk from this Regime messing with all our Earned Retirement and The Man's VA 100% Disabled Veteran Disability Income!!!
Anyway, que sera sera, whatever will be, will be, the Future's not ours to see, que sera sera. Well, unless you get Visions, and I still can't Block mine, which is still causing lost Sleep coz most of my Visions come in the Dream World and they haven't been pleasant ones lately. *LOL now you got that Song looping thru your Head, Sorry!* I have had Anxiety about what I Foresee, and once you Foresee it, you can't Unsee it. Kind of like the Files I had to process at my DA's Office Career that once Seen, couldn't be Unseen, so, it can Haunt you sometimes at the most inopportune times. Usually I can handle whatever I See, however unpleasant or even quite Horrific, but, the Visions have been deeply disturbing and I just cannot Block them, tho' I Wish I could. I'd rather NOT See any of it, since, none of it is Helpful, can't be changed, it will just happen. But, I guess to be Forewarned is to be Forearmed some.
Enough of that tho', I had a Sale at the Antique Mall of my most Expensive Pokemon Collectible that I still had in Stock. Like I said, whatever is Pokemon related is Selling easily and so I would be foolish not to Cash In on the Craze. I don't wanna be the Pokemon Vendor, but, The Granddaughter and I are aware of Pokemon Collectibles Value. She, her Older Brother and Uncle once Collected them. I had Sourced a brand new Pokemon Backpack worth a staggering Value Online when I researched it to Price it appropriately. And School is starting, so of coarse I Scored it at the Chazza I Sourced it at. Still had it's Original Tags attached, so either was New Old Stock Donated or someone's Gift they had no Use or Taste for? Who knows, who Cares. Anyway, the Buyer made an Offer, coz, it was Expensive, and I accepted the Offer, coz it was a reasonable one and far more than I'd Fronted for the Item. I always make my Money on The Buy, it's the only way to go.
I'd rather Sell Antiques at the Antique Mall, but, whatever, Antiques Died in the 80's mostly, which was the heyday of Value and now that Market has Tanked and not likely to come back or rebound. The new Generations want Experiences, not Stuff, and especially not Old Stuff. Most Younger Generations cannot even afford their own place anymore so they can't come with loads of Cargo anyway, no place to put it. As it is when Two Generations moved back in with us we gotta find Placement for all their Cargo while trying to Downsize ours before we croak and leave them with the burden of doing it. So, it's a LOT of Cargo. *Winks and that's an understatement and not hyperbole!* Plus, I'm a Hoarder of Beautiful things and got carried away in my Retirement Years of accumulating nice things as my Investment Vehicle for Old Age. Piles of Money just depreciates too rapidly these days and isn't earning shit sitting around in Banks using your Money Cheaply, yet Charging high Rates on Loans.
As a Retired Bank Executive I was appalled at the Industry even many Moons ago in the 80's when I decided to Retire from it coz I didn't like the Predatory Lending direction it all was going. And in the 80's was also when Company Loyalty went the way of the Dinosaurs and so I shifted with that Shift too, if they didn't offer Loyalty to those Employed, they didn't get any either. I exploited the shit out of them thus, especially doing Consultant Work, and it's the Fault of Businesses to not be Loyal to their People and take Care of them like in the Old Days. It means Employees won't be Loyal or give Two Shits about the Business either. Reciprocity is the ultimate Bitch if what you give out is Negative, just as it can also be the ultimate Blessing if what you give out is Positive, depending on how you Play it, your Choice. Employees have more Power and Leverage than they think tho', any Business is only as Good or as Successful as it's People after all.
Every Worker, no matter what they do for a Living, can really Tank any Business by their Attitude and Performance, based on how that Employer Views and Treats them, just sayin'. And I've been a Corporate Executive, and the best way to be a highly Successful one is to Treat your People Right and have their Backs, then they will be Loyal to you too, good reciprocity at work. Otherwise, if you're a Leader and nobody is Following, you're just taking a fucking Walk, and by yourself. And doing anything major Solo, usually is a heavy load that many Hands makes lighter and more successful. I had good People when I was running all my Departments, I even Shared my Big Bonuses with them, which I didn't have to do and most of Corporate America never did, even in those days, but I felt it was the Right thing to do.

My People made ME look Good and made the excellent Reputation we developed in the Industry, it was as Simple as that. Especially when running Damage Control Departments and being a Corporate Fixer. You're not in the Departments most lucrative to the Business that is Earning them Profits, but you are mitigating Losses they could incur and Fixing Problems with whatever went Sideways in their Portfolios. Your Investors and Shareholders count on you then not to have Crisis get out of Control, which, it did in the Industry during the 80's. The U.S. Banking Sector experienced significant distress during the 1980's, primarily driven by the Savings and Loan Industry. Which, I was Employed by them too, their S&L Headhunters always stole good Employees from Major Banks. I ran Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Collections Departments for Major Financial Institutions Real Property with a Portfolio worth Millions of Dollars in Crisis. So, I had Career Leverage that I used to my advantage.
Everybody likes a good Fixer when they got a big Problem. *Winks* And if nothing else, I've always been Solutions Oriented, it's my Super Power, or so I'm told. *Bwahahahaha* I don't like Problem People and I don't like Problem Situations so I don't tolerate either, and I warned the Industry for Years before the Crash, this is coming, you're doing Bad Business with how you're Structuring these Loans. Nobody listened coz the Front End People were making so much Money I don't think they really Cared, they were Living Large and throwing all Caution to the Wind, so long as those Loans got made with all that creative and Predatory Lending. And most Institutions relied on the Federal Government bailing them out if they fucked up, coz they were allegedly Too Big To Fail and that's what our Government does, bails out the Big Dogs and only lets the Small Business Owner just Fail, no Bailouts for them at Taxpayer Expense! It's all quite corrupt, still is, just more so, it's not really "New".
Only now we got a master Extortionist, Shakedown Artist, Consummate Conman and Career Criminal as President. He's been that way since the early 1970's and his Track Record is common knowledge, so who knew he'd Snow an entire Nation and develop a Cult Following?! Just, WOW, but, he's only gotta be Smarter than those he's Conning, and more Intimidating and Feared by those he's Shaking Down and Extorting. And they Curry Favor, the Big Dogs, by Bribes of Millions, to protect their Billions, and so it goes, only more in your Face now than ever. And Countries have to now play the Game too, as America becomes the Mob Country of the Globe and Strongarms them all into compliance or exacts Economic punitive actions with these Trade Wars and Illegal Tariffs. Legality doesn't even matter anymore, the Rule of Law has been so compromised. As someone whose 2nd Corporate Life was working for a large DA's Office, I know Organized Crime when I see it. Power corrupts and Absolute Power absolutely corrupts.
And I loathe even being Political, since, I loathe Partisan Politics with all of my Heart and Soul!!! I loathe Criminal Enterprises that corrupt Systems and exploit or intimidate Honest People into compliance and obedience, or exact retaliation and retribution against them. Without a Rule of Law that can be Trusted and Functional, and we can't anymore, all the way up to our Supreme Court which half has been Bought and Paid for, we're screwed. When Child Sex Traffickers are obtaining preferential Treatment, so they'll continue to shut up and not Name more Names, well, we know we probably got a slew of Pedos running things now!!! I mean, her Boss got offed in that Convenient "Suicide" before he could even go to Trial, that was quite questionable, so I guess she's cooperating so she also doesn't have a similar Fate. But the Deal they gave her with this Transfer is a Travesty of Justice, she doesn't belong there as a Convicted Sexual Predator of Trafficking Children and Serving a 20 Year Sentence for Crimes SHE committed, beyond her Accomplice Crimes with Epstein.
And if a Prez can successfully Fake an Assassination Attempt, Twice, and grow back an Ear... Selling loads of Merch off the unusual "Incident" of that alleged Assassination Attempt, by a Teenager, on a Roof nearby that people with Cellphones saw and were Recording but the Secret Service were Unaware of... well, anything is possible, isn't it? Lots of Questions about so many unusual unexplainable things, no Answers being given, how convenient. I'm not even a Conspiracy Theorist but there were Holes you could drive Trucks thru in so many of these "Breaking News Stories" involving this Regime, who are adept at the Sleight of Hand to be a handy Distraction from what they're really NOT wanting you to see and know, behind the Scenes, like the Wizard of Oz behind that Curtain. And doesn't it feel rather like fucking Oz... or Alice's Wonderland these Days?
