The Gloom And Doom Post... Why Not?

 So, Friday Night I'm dishing up the Dinner and the Phone rings at Five Minutes to Five P.M., it's the Antique Mall asking if I can cover for someone who didn't show up again, from 5:00-9:00!   Yeah, Five Minutes from the Call, so, No, I can't and declined and ate my Dinner.  Being Comped the pittance per Hour they knock off our Rent won't make enuf difference to bother, this Pay Period ends Tomorrow and it's the most abysmal Numbers since the Mall opened Years ago!!!   People aren't Buying and no pivoting and strategies are making any difference, the White House Fuckery is just tanking this Economy too badly to turn things around on a Dime.  I really am not sure how long I'll keep at the Antique Mall if things don't improve, I'm not there to break even or lose Money, nobody is.  It's only a Month to Month Lease so no real Risk, you can give them a Two Week Notice and be done with it at any point in time.  

I'm certain everyone Working so hard and not getting ahead, instead falling further and further behind, is disheartened.  So many of the Younger Generations are telling me they feel defeated and like giving up coz they don't see a Future ahead of them at all, so it seems Hopeless.  That really alarms me that so many of our Young People are feeling that way and I don't have solid Words of Encouragement to give them that things will get better.  I won't patronize any of them by pretending I know that it will get better, becoz in all Honesty, I don't think it is.  In fact, I personally feel that America is going Down.  But I hesitate to say that out loud to any of these Young Adults that are the Future of our Nation and will be burdened to Inherit whatever it becomes.  I don't envy them their Youth, I'm really relieved I'm nearer the End of my Life's Journey than the Beginning or Middle of it actually, given what I'm Witnessing in America daily now.

Can we Survive Four Years of this Administration, or even know we'll have another Election?  I think those Questions for me are Open Ended at the Moment.  I try not to dwell upon it too much or too intensely becoz it bears a heaviness of Heart and Spirit to it that is unhealthy to sustain.   I'm more worried about all the people losing their Jobs and unable to find another one.  I'm hearing from unemployed folks that so many of the alleged Jobs out there are Ghost Jobs.  When applying for them they're not getting Call Backs or Interviews.  Whether they are highly Skilled or looking for Entry Level Positions.  So the amount of Jobs allegedly Hiring aren't really Hiring and are faking it to make it look better for their Companies, an Illusion they're doing better than they are. 

The amount of people who won't be able to find Shelter and will be among the burgeoning Homeless populations.   The amount of Americans who will not be able to afford the essentials and not have any Programs out there to sustain them in their time of most Need.   Society will pay a Price for all of this, rest assured.   A Society is not a Healthy one when all of this is happening to too many among them.   When 1% have more than the other 99% combined, something is definitely Wrong.  And that chasm is widening in America between the Haves and the Haves Nots.  And when Leadership only Cares about 1% of their total Population, something is definitely Wrong with that too, and it is not going to be sustainable for very long, the Health of the Nation is then at grave risk.  You cannot have 99% of your Population not Cared about and not being met at their points of Need for very long without dire consequences.   

You can't have a functional Military and Federal Government that isn't getting Paid, for very long either.   Hell hath no Fury like when you try to screw over your Elderly Retired Populations either, they have very little left to Lose by making epic Big Good Trouble for you.   So, this Shutdown that threatens to mess with what sustains our Military Families, the Federal Workers who run our Government and make it all Work, our Retirees Social Security and Pensions, is something they better figure out fucking STAT or all Hell will begin to break loose among those affected.   And many beyond those not being Paid will be affected Negatively, Trust & Believe.   A Soldier who can't support their Families and is expected to do a Dangerous Job without Pay isn't gonna be focused on The Mission, Trust and Believe that Fact.  So National Security will be at risk.  And the World is watching, and some of The World are not our Friends who are Observing all of this playing out. 

 As it is he's contemplating letting Qatar built their Military Base on our Soil.  Yep, THAT Qatar, the one that most Historically funds Terrorist Organizations, and has gifted him with a 400 Million Dollar Jet and lavishes his whole Family with Business Deals to line their pockets with.  He's Selling Out America one lucrative Deal at a time for himself and his Spawn in the Long Con and Big Grift.  He's extorting anyone and everyone he possibly can with the Power that's been foolishly bestowed upon such a Career Criminal with no Moral Compass and absolutely no conscience, coz Psychopaths and Sociopaths have none.   And some Americans somehow think that was gonna Work for THEM... well, good Luck with that, coz, it's not gonna.  And some of MAGA World are slowly Waking Up to that Fact, some at the Top who are now voicing their Concerns that he's gone too far.   REALLY..., ya think?!  It's amusing to me how far is just Too Far for some of them tho'.  And yet, not quite Too Far YET for those still on Board his Crazy Train. 

 I guess they're just waiting for the Epic Train Wreck, I dunno... and, it's coming.  It's On Time to come in fact.  A Federal Worker in the Government who is without Pay is likely just to not show up to Work at some point.  And the Government responsibilities are vast, think about what would grind to a halt that you rely upon your Government doing every day for you.  And just how agitated do you think Retired folk are gonna be if their Checks stop?  And they have nothing but Time and Wisdom with a Wealth of Experience to focus at replacing a Government not Working for them anymore!   I just foresee that the Game this Administration is playing, their incompetence and poor decision making, Nepo Hires who know not what they're doing coz they're not qualified, their greed and Grifting, destruction of functional Institutions of all kinds, are gonna collapse the Nation and what happens after that is anyone's best Guess, but, it can't be Good!  And, things are already NOT Good, so being Worse won't be Received well.  How are YOU gonna Receive it? Better start Thinking about it.

One thing I'll say about America's Love Affair and complete Obsession coupled with Infatuation of their Guns, is that damned near everyone has at least ONE.   And a great many have built up an arsenal, so... should they become completely disenchanted as a Collective with a Government no longer Working for them and leaving them destitute and hanging out to dry, just what do you think might happen?   Once it hits every household except the Elite, who do you think they will go after?  It won't be me or you, that's for sure... becoz we are not the problem that actually caused it.  But, they know who has, and their wrath will be directed at them and I think those responsible better have a damned good Exit Strategy for themselves, coz they're gonna Need it.  Right now they might seem smug it won't happen, can't happen, but, it will happen.  Make too many desperate and desperate people do desperate things with no more fucks to give.

And this is why I limit my Exposure to The News my Friends.  *LMAO*  Becoz my Bipolar ADHD Mind Spins like a Top while I'm processing all this Fuckery and contemplating long-term Solutions the Citizenry will then have when it all goes to shit for them.   I can see them Kidnapping Billionaires and holding them Hostage until everything gets Fixed and making them pay for it to be.  They've got all the Money, simple Solution for those that don't have any.  *Winks and laughs maniacally*  Yes, Satirical Solutions do run thru my Head like that when too much Negative input is on Spin in there and I know that some of the Population might Act upon some of those impulses becoz they have fuck left to lose.   I've processed enuf Criminal Files to know a segment of the Population is prone to violent acts as their Solutions to everything.

And we've had our DOJ so dismantled and corrupted now, do you think the Rule of Law will still be honored or even functional anymore then?  I don't, and I worked a whole 2nd Corporate Life in The System.  You know, back when The Rule of Law actually meant something to our Leaders and The Supreme Court.  And our Population still had Faith in it, which, is badly eroded now coz we know how many Supreme Court Justices have been bought and paid for, gone Political in their Rulings, and Weaponized the DOJ to suit this wanna be Dictator's Agenda of Revenge and Retribution Tour he's on.  He's almost 80 and clearly his Health is in serious decline, his Mental Health is obviously long gone sideways, so he's intent on burning it all to the ground to rule over the Ashes and pretend he's a King of the USA and will actually have that Nobel Peace Prize he's so desperately thirsty for.

Have I gone Dark and Deep enuf yet?  *Bwahahahahaha*  Hey, you came for some Gloom and Doom since The Post Title Hook Warned ya, or Baited ya, and Reeled ya in, either way?  Harpoon!!!  *Winks*   Are we having Fun yet?  *Smiles*  It's gloomy and Monsoon heavy Rainy again Today, more Flooding coz it's expected to last thru the entire Weekend and has already been Too Much Rain all at once.  Monsoon Season is Over, but, it came Late and is staying ever so much longer now, along with escalating how much it distributes during it's epic Storms.  Climate Change is also Real, and we're not doing much about that either.  In fact this White House is systematically dismantling all Environmental Protection in place, Selling Off Public Trust Lands {which is Held in TRUST by the Government FOR The Public in case that needs emphasizing}.  

 Because this Administration says and wants you to Believe it's Fake News and not Real.  Okay, so what we're seeing playing out Globally, and especially hitting America hard, isn't Real... how long will anyone hold onto that Fantasy or Wishful Thinking do ya think?   When Natural Disasters are becoming more commonplace and Climate is Changing at an accelerated pace that is quite Obvious and less habitable or sustainable, just how long can you stay in Denial?   I'll wait for your Answer...    Denial is a Deep Space to try to Hold for very long.  It almost never works out for you to stay in Denial.   Becoz Reality really can be quite a Bitch, one that Needs your Attention and Focus to be On Point.   Remain in Denial too long at your own Peril, is my best unsolicited Advice to you.  But, stay in it if you're so inclined, it won't be my Ass in a Sling when you suffer the consequences of languishing too long in YOUR Denial of Reality. 

 Is there any Chance I haven't gone Dark enuf yet?  *Bwahahaha*  Hey it's the Season to Scare the Piss outta ya!  These ain't Jokes... this is the Real American Horror Story playing out and in Real Time!  And I know, I know... some Americans can't seem to Handle The Truth anymore and think they're Safe living in their Alternate Reality and made up "Alternate Truth" that is really just a Lie, coz The Truth is The Truth and anything else is just wrapped in Misinformation, and presented as a Gift to those that will Receive it, by those they installed in Power.  But, America has now bought the Ticket so we're on for the whole fucking Wild Ride, aren't we?   Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee, White Knuckling it as we go right off the Fucking Rails, Wheels Off... what a Ride!!!!!!!   The Arizona State Fair is a Wrap, it came a Month earlier than usual, got Flooded out for a lot of it, had poor Attendance, I guess the Wild Ride America is on was more than enuf for most People?  

Or they're too broke due to the Economy being shitty and flatlining, or don't have a Job anymore?  If you can't afford basic Necessities now you sure as shit ain't spending on Non-Essentials or Recreational Pursuits and Vacations.  So they just didn't turn out or wanna turn up for the Thrills of Carny Rides... how Lame compared to Real Life Rides right now that could be definitely Life altering and potentially Life Threatening, Fun Times!!!!!!!  Nobody we knew went, I didn't even bother to drive by it this Year.   They didn't even get any Press, too much else was happening in Epic Breaking News rolling out constantly to bother covering something like that.  Military Munitions Factories blowing sky high in Tennessee in that Bomb Factory Explosion.   I'm wondering, with all the Cuts in Inspecting everything, and making things Safer not being a White House priority anymore, will that sorta thing be happening more often now?   Since Human Life seems not a Priority either in America now.  Just a Thought.

Brother and Big Sister Mockups going on in this Pix, Trust and Believe she can kick his Ass.  *Winks and LOL*  I've known this Family since they were wee Littles and the Sister pictured was part of The Daughter's Devilish Desirz Posse back when they all were the Buck Wild Baby Dolls.   These were some Girls Gone Wild and I Pitied the Men that thought they could Handle that.  *Bwahahaha*  This one turned shit around, put herself thru College being a Corona Girl and working at Hooters, and became a respected Attorney for the IRS.  They're still Down for each other to this Day tho', Ride or Die, and since these are one of my Crazy BFF's Children, they're like Nieces and Nephews to us.  And call us Aunty and Uncle, our Kids grew up like Cousins and so most folk thought they were related, and that their Mom was my Younger and equally Crazy Sister.  *Smiles*   We got some Stories.  *Bwahahahaha*   I've taken her to Mental Health when the Wheels went Off, she's taken me.  *LOL*

She's battling Stage 4 Cancer right now and her Youngest Daughter is her Caregiver, it's pretty grim and was left too long.  Plus she's on Medicaid and SSI due to the extent of her Mental Illness, which isn't a Help, coz the Care administered is Marginal at best, and at worst, downright negligent and focused on Cost-Effectiveness at the expense of the Patients.  I told her to get a Hysterectomy when I got mine many Moons ago coz we had similar Diagnosis, and she didn't... becoz she already had a Weight problem and saw how Skinny me got real Fat after a Hysterectomy, which is an unfortunate side effect beyond your Control.  And... shit got worse for her then, and now Surgery won't Solve it.  I do Wish I'd pushed harder for her to take Care of it back then.   Neither one of us being the kind of Strong Women anyone can tell what to do tho', so there was THAT.  *Winks*  

But I respect someone's decisions regarding their own Bodies and their own Health, it's not up to me or anyone else, including Government, to dictate what any Woman does with her own Body.  I'm firm in that Opinion and Right every Woman should have over Autonomy.  So, she made her decisions Years ago and I made completely different ones, sadly it's caught up to her and she's Dying.  She knows she is and seems resigned to it.   She Raised One Grandchild for his 1st Eight Years, then he was able to have reunification with his Mom to finish Raising.  That wasn't an Option for Yours Truly coz my Daughter was never being Cured of Serious Mental Illness, even once she got Clean and was no longer Homeless as her way of Life.  This Friend is a Year Younger than me and totally dependent upon her Children, who have taken her in and Cared for her many Years now, the Daughters anyway, taking turns having her live with them.   The Grandson she helped Raise is Grown and a Helicopter Rescue Pilot.  He turned out Well, I'm his Godmother and was her Daughter's Birth Coach when he was Born.

I didn't intend to be helping Deliver a Baby at the time.  Her Daughter was a very Young Teen Mom who a Sexual Adult Predator had taken advantage of, along with other At Risk Girls of Poor Families.   So her Mom had to step in and work all that shit out thru the Courts for her Underage Child had been exploited and Victimized by a Government Worker transporting Kids to Programs.  Yeah, it was a Wonder my Friend didn't go Off Rails and Murder the Perv.   Epstein is just the tip of the Iceberg of Child Exploitation, it's actually rampant and the vast majority of Sex Crimes and Human Trafficking involve Children, just so ya know the Facts!!!   Anyway, at the pending Birth my Friend decides she can't Handle it and tricks me by asking me to Deliver some Chinese Food to them for Lunch.  *LOL*  Yeah, she's Cunning like that, I shouldda known I was a Mark that Day, she's Crazy, not Stupid.  *LOL*  Well, long Story short, I ended up Delivering Chinese Food AND her first Grandson that Day!  Then made the Mistake of Tempting Fate during the Eight Years she spent Raising him by saying I'D NEVER RAISE A GRANDCHILD!

Yeah, I Ate Crow big time on that Statement.   So, for the next Years from 2000 when The Young Prince was Born, then 2005 when Princess T was Born, to when Princess T finally turned 18 Two Years ago, said Friend busted my Chops constantly.  Often saying, "Oh, are those the Grandchildren you were never Raising Dawn?  Got Double for your Trouble didn't ya my Friend, God or the Devil gotcha Good and made ya Eat those Words!"   *Bwahahaha*   Yeah, whichever One it was, sure did, and we both would then laugh manically coz we're both Bat Shit Crazy Broads and find shit like that rather hilarious in our Dark Gallows Humor way.  Whatever doesn't Kill ya does indeed make ya Stronger. *Winks*   She'd do anything for me and I'd do anything for her, so, no matter what we were Down for whatever Hands Dealt, however shitty, handed us.  I just Wish they hadn't moved out of State so that I could be there now for her and the Kiddos... but, most of her Kids moved to other States and she moved with them Years ago, and that was that.

The only Son who still lives Local is still in The Life so we can't have contact with or exposure to him, too much risk.   He's the one that was in the previous Pix.   Off and On he's been Clean, but isn't now, and I Hope for him he gets into Recovery and conquers his Addictions.  But, all her other Kiddos have done good and turned Life around to prosper and have a good Life.   The Son Below, who was always Princess T's favorite "Adopted Uncle", finally got Sober, he was an Alcoholic from his Teens thru up 'til 3 Years ago, but quit drinking, got this lovely Girlfriend, is doing Well and I'm so Happy for him.   He's a Good Guy.  Funny Story tho', he and The Son grew up together but were always fighting like Siblings who don't get along.  They do anything FOR one another, but, in a Room together, a Fight would always ensue.

So, once while his Mom was Babysitting The Son for me so I could go to Work {coz nobody else would including every Daycare in the whole West Valley}, but his Crazy Aunt Kathie would!  *LOL*  Well, she had the Come to Jesus with him about not fighting with her Son, no hitting, no making Toys into Weapons, no biting, no being Stabby, she was very Specific about what NOT to do.  Coz tho' she knew her Younger Son usually tormented my Son and her Older Son, coz he was a Little Pain in the Ass to both of them, he always ended up Beat Up from doing so, yet, wouldn't Learn and persisted.  *Smiles*  So, she wanted the slightly Older Boys to just not Engage and to Ignore him Taunting them, as he always did, it was a Given, he was a little Shit.  *LOL*  Well, all was too Quiet and her Spidey Senses knew it shouldn't be that Quiet with Three Young High Maintenance Boys in the Room together so she went to check on them.  

   

Good thing she did coz my Son was on top of this slightly Younger than him Son and choking the shit out of him!   He didn't even look like he'd be in Trouble for it coz he simply said, "Well, you didn't say not to CHOKE him!"   *LOL*  And indeed, she had to confess she'd forgotten to mention No Choking.  *Winks*   Now as Adult Men, The Son and her Younger Son are still Close like Brothers... but he can't have anything to do with the Older Son, who always was Closer to him when they were growing up, coz, The Son is Clean now and in Recovery, so can't risk it if someone he Cares about is still Using and in The Life.  Its hard, but you must practice Tough Love with those still in the throes of their Addiction and cut them loose until they bottom out and come to themselves voluntarily.  No amount of Interventions usually Work successfully, which is an unfortunate Truth, they gotta WANT to no longer get High or Drunk or participate in any unhealthy Addictive Behaviors anymore, and kick it for themselves, not for anyone else.  Sustained Sobriety is only attained when you really Want it bad enuf to do what it takes.  Nobody can do it FOR you.

Anyway, I Woke up Today to The Son bringing Breakfast Burritos from "Taco Bell" for everyone, Sausage ones and Bacon ones, a good Value and he got 10 of them so everyone would have some.  So that he could Make Up for eating Two of the Chicken Legs last night and causing a ruckus with The Girls.  *Winks*   I'd sprung for KFC last Night and the Chicken Leg Saga now is the stuff of Legend, coz The Son said he had gotten Two, but that he knew his Dad had gotten the other Two, and then heard the Girls wailing about where all the Legs had gone?!  *Eye Roll, we NEED those Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant Mutant Chickens that grow extra Legs, Smiles*   So, The Man had The Daughter make him put One back coz he'd sworn that ALL the Legs her Brother had taken.  *LOL*   And The Son had found that humorous that his Dad didn't want Trouble with his Sister or Niece for taking half the Legs, claiming The Son took them all, even tho', there they were, sitting on his Plate right in front of him... Brain Damage can be rather comical at times like that.  *Winks and Smiles*   

With Multi-Generational Families, the fussing about Food becomes Comical in and of itself.   There can be plenty of Food but they'll fuss and fight over certain items like it's gonna be their Last Meal ever.  *Eye Roll*  The High Drama is Over-The-Top and I'm the only one NOT Guilty of doing it.   I don't Care about Food that much to fuss over it or Fight over it, even if it was something I bought for myself and when I go to get it to Eat, it's Gone!!!   And, that happens, unless you put your Name on it to signal, it's yours.  So, sometimes you will see Magic Marker Labeled Foods around here.  *LOL*   And another thing they all do too often, is, when they eat or use the last of something, they forget to tell me or put it on the Shopping List, usually until I come back from having done the Shopping!!!  Oh, by the way, Honey/Mom/Gramma, we Need such and such... only mentioned as I'm unloading the Groceries and Supplies I JUST Bought and didn't know we were out of whatever it is they're not informing me of!!!  *Insert Resting Bitch Face*

 

The Positives tho' about Multi-Generational Living once everyone is Grown is that they each can also contribute something for the Good of All.   And when you're a Senior, even if that means the Free Labor doing things for you so you don't have to Hire someone, is Priceless.   So, I still prefer Generational Living, in harder times it means less hardship if you're Pooling Resources spread out among many and several different Generations of Adults and Children.   I personally think Communal Living will become absolutely necessary in America.   He's now Laying Off Federal Workers by the Thousands in critical Governmental Roles of Education, Health & Human Services, the IRS, and other Treasury Departments... this could be catastrophic, not just for those Workers, but for America.   And, it's probably not been done Legally either, not that the Rule of Law is being followed or Respected anymore by this Leadership, it's definitely NOT.  They're all Criminals so expect more Criminal activities and the erosion of anything to combat it thru the DOJ.

Okay, so perhaps that's all the Doom and Gloom you can Handle in One Post?   I got MORE, but, shall Save it for Later.  *Winks*   There's a lot to be determined about so much about everything going on.   America is heavily involved in just about all of it, so, whose gonna Pay and whose gonna be Governing various things is speculation at best.   Some of it looks Promising, some of it doesn't, thinks will be Judged by how it Plays Out... we just don't really know.   Things can and often do fall apart, so until Good Things actually happen, and on a consistent basis, I'm cautious and rather jaded about how I Feel about any of it.   We can only Hope for the Best and Prepare for the Worst really... Selling Enthusiasm and Optimism is a Heavy Lift and a Big Ask right now.  It's way too early yet to know what it looks like, Globally or here in America... there's a lot of moving parts and so much to Unpack in the way of Baggage.
