Simplifying Life ~ And Daydreaming About Options

 I've been looking at "Bahama Life" Real Estate Show, OMG, yeah, a Dreamscape Escape should America go completely to shit?  *LOL*  I have thought about the What Ifs should living on the Continental U.S. become intolerable if things worsen Politically and our Democracy fail us.  I've lived abroad half the time and traveled the Globe, so have no problem living in other Countries.  Many have much to offer and a lot of Americans live abroad permanently.  Tho' I prefer living on the Mainland of America, it's not as if I wouldn't become an Ex Pat if circumstances necessitated it.  The Daughter wouldn't be opposed to living permanently in Mexico and has many Friends there, both Mexican Nationals and Ex Pat Americans living there.  She said I'd Love the Mexican Riviera, I'm sure I would, I've been to Mexico.  I've been to Europe.  The Man has been to Asia and Australia.

Anyway, it was Fun to watch the show and watch Americans buying Real Estate in the Bahamas.  Many had Vacationed there for Decades before deciding to live there.  The cost of the Real Estate was comparable to the cost of Real Estate in Arizona, even Beachfront Properties weren't any more expensive than buying a Home in Phoenix.   And on the Mexican Riviera it's about half the price point to buy Real Estate than in Phoenix, so much cheaper, which is why a lot of American Retirees have Properties there and there's many Ex Pat established Communities.  I'm always exploring my options even tho' I don't intend to move again and prefer to stay put, you just never know what the Future might hold that changes your Mind and Hearts?  If we were wealthier I'd relocate to Hawaii, probably Kauai if I wanted to stay in a State, but away from the Mainland's current too close to Home Issues going on.  But, most of Hawaii is very overpriced and geared towards the seriously affluent.

My Theory is the Government uses flimsy excuses, such as that they claim they cannot Tax the uber Wealthy or they'd leave the Country, well, if they're not paying their Taxes anyway, who Cares?  At least then the American Middle Class whose paying our Taxes wouldn't be Subsidizing the obscenely Wealthy anymore in Welfare for the Affluent.  But, if the Middle Class starts getting too screwed over, I foresee those that can leave the Country decide to move somewhere they would be better off.  Most people come to America for the Freedom and Rights we've always enjoyed and used to be the envy of the World.  Take that away and then there's not the same incentive to remain if other places around the Globe still have Freedom and better Rights intact still that we had been used to enjoying and don't want to forfeit.  Once the main Tax Base bails, then the Leadership would be in serious Crisis, as their most broad Base of Taxation and Workforce migrates elsewhere.

It's already known that a lot of Countries are claiming they are receiving more requests for Americans to become Ex Pats in their Countries than ever.   Now that this Administration is fucking things up in America and alarming Sane people who aren't Cult Devoted.  Who are Witnessing our Beloved Country and it's Democracy being sabotaged and dismantled by a wannabe Dictator whose an unapologetic Fascist White Supremacist.  Anyone whose previous lived under the Oppression of an Authoritarian Regime warns that it won't be better than a Democracy.  In spite of the illusion, Fantasy and delusion the MAGA World seem to have that it would be.  Mebbe some of them Need to be told what to do and abdicate Free Will coz they can't figure it out for themselves and feel the Need for a Dictator "Daddy" pretending he'll Take Care of them, I dunno?  The Psyche of the Deluded and easily Conned is beyond my comprehension.

But, I'd rather stay put coz I Love America and where I currently Live, I Love my Community and my Forever Home we've chosen.  I like the diversity of American Culture that has been richly improved with every wave of Immigrant that has come here and helped Build America while also Sharing their Cultures and brought a richer Diversity for us all to experience if we so choose to.  So, I do Hope things improve and we get rid of this Regime and replace it with Leadership we deserve to have leading a great Democracy and a wonderful Country that used to be the envy of the World.  We don't need for Americans to be at War with other Americans and Hating one another, the World has enuf legit Enemies who Hate us as a Collective.  I think our Foreign Adversaries are instrumental in aiding this Regime in their endeavor coz it would benefit them greatly and do all the Work FOR them without having to fire a single Bullet or invade if we just fall from within and eat our own.  And have Leaders Selling us Out for their own Gain.   And this President is Selling us Out for his own Gain.

As you can see I did a Deep Dive into Pinterest for the Season, since, I like seeing what Holiday Halloween Decor people are coming up with different than before.  Yes, I still have some Event Imagery I haven't used up yet and will get some more this coming Week at the last Halloween Event of the Month.  But, I'm always seeking Blog Eye Candy and Fodder for Posts.  I haven't been Pathologically Picture Taking as much when The Man isn't Well and we should just stay Home and allow him to Rest and not risk any setbacks or further Medical Crisis before he has his next Surgery to hopefully alleviate much of that.  I don't mind staying Home, plenty to do here and enjoy, finances being tighter than usual it's more economical to not go out or spend anything you don't have to.  Whatever I don't HAVE to do now, I don't OPT to do now.  *Winks*  Simplifies Life.

 

LATER:  I've got Insomnia and so does The Daughter, she seems Manic too and she has to Work that Housecleaning Job in the Morning over in the Far East Valley, so, at least she'll have Manic Energy to do a good and thorough job.  *LOL*   She never did get to DES to apply for the Nutritional Assistance, she's still exceedingly Paranoid about the Government and the abduction of people, she said ICE is behaving like the Mexican Cartels do.  And that's not just her Paranoid Schizophrenia speaking, for 20 Years she Witnessed regular abductions like that in Mexico by the Bad Actors and said these ICE Raids behave EXACTLY like that, I have no reason to doubt it, I can see how they're kidnapping people and disappearing them without Due Process and just Racially Profiling.  

They're not going after "The Hardened Criminals" when they're abducting 65 Year Old Landscapers and College Students or People going to their Immigration Court Hearings, or Deporting Children getting Cancer Treatments.  And the very popular Latino Singer/Entertainer Bad Bunny won't even do his American Tour becoz he doesn't want ICE Raiding his Concerts and abducting his Latino Fans.   And, let's face it, where the National Guard and Military are being sent to Cities by this President all happen to be run by Democratic Mayors and mostly have Black or Asian Mayors and a high population of Minority Citizens.  That's no coincidence and has nothing at all to do with allegedly "Fighting Crime", it's all intimidation and blatant Racism being exercised and a Flex, plain and simple.  Many Republican run Cities have much higher Crime Rates per capita of Citizens and he's not sending them there.

Anyway, I guess Memphis is next, Democratic Black Mayor, and the Population of Memphis is almost 63% Black, so, natch.  Not all all surprised that Racist White Supremacist Donnie Two Dolls is sending Troops to intimidate Memphis next coz Chicago didn't work out.  He will systematically Target the demographic he wants to instill the most Fear in and commit Illegal Acts to do it coz nobody is really Stopping him from breaking the Law constantly and he's served no Time for all his Crimes, which, are considerable.  The amount of Serious Felonies he's committed now numbers into the Hundreds and yet he's not Served a Day in Jail or Prison, so, he knows he can get away with anything now.  I've only ever seen Case Files at the DA's Office with multiple Counts like that when Prosecution has been of Syndicated Organized Crime Rings with Mafia or Cartel Ties.  Seriously.   And I'm sure the Feds pursuing Terrorist Ties can equate that level of Serious Crime to Terrorist Organizations too.  BTW: I didn't know that Guy that got Assassinated was from Phoenix, since, I didn't know who he was before his Murder.

I do think the Above Vignette is AI generated, not Believable that Mounted Human Head is just Plaster or something Real, but, it is still a Fun Visual, so I snagged it anyway.  *LOL*   Mando and The Son will be looking after The Man while I take The Daughter to her Job this Morning, coz nobody is working on Sundays, but Princess T went to Rusty's and won't be back until sometime Monday.  She's off on Mondays too and so usually spends Weekends at her Boyfriend's Home, which isn't that far from our Home.  So far I haven't heard more about his Mom moving in with his Sisters in tow... but I'm sure I will when and if it happens?  Rusty Works and so does the Dad and one Older Sister who lives with her Boyfriend now.  I can't see the Dad being able to afford to pay for Three Houses tho', so, if and when he has to move out if his Ex moves in and rents out her other Home as an Air B&B, it could get dicey financially. 

 Rusty is concerned about that coz he still lived at Home coz he needed to Share Space to afford Rent.  His Dad also had Two other Male Roommates Renting Space, now they moved out.  When they knew Two of his Minor Aged Daughters and Ex would possibly be moving in, neither of the Roommates, Adult Males, had a Peace about that and so opted not to stay, I don't blame them.  Rusty doesn't wanna be responsible for his Younger Sisters Care or Schooling either, he Loves them but said his Mom hasn't been a very effective Parent so the Girls don't have excellent behavior or take School as seriously as he did.  He was a good Kid all around, still in a good Young Man and very responsible and an Old Soul, his Dad did a good job Raising him apparently.  So, it was good he went to live with his Dad when his Parents Separated/Divorced, whatever they did, we're not sure if they're still Married or not actually?  It all sounds like Drama and a Headache to me and to Princess T.

I don't know how the Pay Period Closed Out by my Sales were particularly high this Pay Period, Whoop Whoop!!!  I'm Hopeful that holds for the Holidays?   I tried to sort my Inventory out to bring in what I thought people would scramble for to Buy during the Holidays for either Seasonal Decor, Seasonal Celebrations or Presents.  Antiques and Vintage now isn't my primary consideration of what folks might Buy coz they're just NOT Buying those things based on the Collectible Market of any of it anymore.   Few Customers even Care about the History of any of it, Preservation of any of it, how well made and unique any of it is, we've become a flat out disposable Society now who want Cheap shit we won't Care about and will replace often.  Okay if it's mass produced and a Dime a Dozen, or made by an Exploited Labor Force, that's actually preferable and acceptable now to the Consumer.  So, it is what it just is, I can't Change that Fact.

I went to "Cracker Barrel" to peruse their Country Store section, it always has some Cute Merch for each Season.  But, just a small Table of Halloween this Year, but at least they got some in.  During Pandemic I remember they couldn't and so Halloween didn't exist during that time of Supply Chain Issues and that was what Management told me the Void was due to.  They weren't Happy about it, but, whaddya gonna do as a Retailer if Supply can't keep pace with Demands?  I suspect some of Halloween squeaked in before Tariff Woes only becoz they'd Ordered it a good 6-9 Months in advance?   Some Retailers have told me some of their recently Ordered Seasonal Inventory got sent back and never made it to Port and won't be Delivered now tho', so it will hit them hard.  Clothing seems to be something they just can't get now.  And if it does make it in, will be marked up considerably due to Tariff Taxes.  So, Fun Times ahead.

Tariffs being the Newest Devil, we'll have to wait and see how the Public will respond and receive that kind of inflationary Taxation?  Once they realize how it Works and that the Exporter ain't Paying it!!!  *Eye Roll* Coz, well, most of us knew that already, but some folks were ignorant and Believed Donnie Two Dolls Lies about how it Works.  Well, with his level of Ignorance and Criminality we just don't know if he realized how it even Works or not, or Cared?   I mean, the Guy said Out Loud that a Plane Ticket Costs Two Dollars, so, it's not as if he's in Touch with anyone else's Reality now, that's quite evident.   And I find it rather humorous that the News and the Government are still Fixated on whether Joe Biden was in serious cognitive decline at the end of his Presidency.  

 He was, but, he's not the fucking President any longer, so I don't Care anymore!!!  And just mebbe Kamala was holding shit up for him coz she was competent enuf to, so things didn't go to shit on his Watch.  We'd recovered from Pandemic woes better than any other Nation on Planet Earth!   BUT, we got one actively in the White House whose in far more obvious Serious Cognitive Decline folks, and far more Dangerous.  With an incompetent Nepo Hire Fascist Couch Fucker Peter Thiel Puppet as VP, so let us Focus on that shall we?!  Lord Jesus!!!  Quit looking in the Rear View Mirror so much that you fail to see the Train Wreck right in front of you that will be imminent disaster you will get caught up in if you fail to avoid it.  If you avoided a Train Wreck that is whatever happened behind you, it's of little to no consequence to you anymore.  Even IF it was a Close Call, you didn't Wreck, so, Move On.  But what's happening Now and in Front of you is far more crucial to be Aware of, isn't it?  Or... Crash and Burn... your Choice.

I dunno, I see a Train Wreck up ahead and am pumping my Brakes and looking for an Off Ramp.  Yet many Travelers do seem quite unaware of it and so are merrily careening down the Road towards it, completely and utterly seemingly unaware of imminent carnage up ahead.   If they DO see it and are aware, then I have to imagine they're just doing a Thelma & Louise?   Which, looked Epic and Cult Classic in a Movie that isn't even Real, but in Real Life, there's no Survivors when you go and drive over and off the Cliff into the Abyss in a complete Freefall like that into the Grand Canyon of a Void.   I don't know what the Bottom is or looks like yet, but, so far every time it looks like we're near Bottoming Out, it's already been very Bad, so, just keeps getting Worse and not the least bit Better or more Promising, that's for Sure.  I'm not an Eyes Wide Shut kinda Being in how I take Life's sometimes treacherous Journey.  And, one thing I know, Power ONLY Respects Power.

There's only Two things the Weak are often called in the Natural Order of Things, Victims and Prey.   You have to make sure you remain in a Position of Strength so that you'll be Okay.   I don't know that a lot of folks are gonna be Okay, pretty Sure in fact, they won't be.  Even with some Guarded Optimism left in me, I know there will be further Casualties of this Administration's bad decisions and intentional Cruelty, there already are, and there will be many more.  And once enuf folks aren't Okay, there is bound to be a paradigm shift and it's gonna be Ugly.   And I don't know when those folks who aren't Okay are gonna flip the Fuck out when they have nothing more to Lose, and are reacting from either desperation, pure Rage, or hopelessness, you know?  Desperate people do desperate fucking things, and the  more Fearful they become the more apt they are to not have Boundaries, that's all I know for Sure.  And that's not a Pessimistic Theory, that's just what happens.   Remember the Panic that set in during Pandemic when Shelves were Empty?  Yeah, so do I.

And I see that the Web Crawlers have been particularly busy lately scouring the Interweb.  Remember how we speculated why Views were way, way the fuck up so that Stats exploded on our Blogs, almost all of our Blogs once everyone checked?   Well, they've increased even more exponentially now, it's off the Chain actually, Thousands of Views per Post, no matter the Topic and that I'm nobody whose an Influencer!   And I know those aren't your Garden Variety Blog Readers causing those Numbers, simply can't be, no delusions that Readership is up that fucking much.  What I have to say and Share isn't that relevant, profound or exciting.  I'm nobody and I'm likely not Changing Hearts and Minds either, I know this Fact.  I use my tiny Platform here to mostly shout out into the Void and it's way Cheaper than Therapy.  *LOL*   I also enjoy Photography and Writing enough to have this be a nice little Amateur indulgence in all of that. Mostly selfishly for myself, but, I do have a few Dear Readers to consider who are actual People and not Bots, AI and various Web Crawlers from Lord knows where or what fucking Agendas they have for showing up?!  *Bwahahahaha and Eye Roll*

If China, Russia or The Real Deep State here in America are so desperate as to be interested in what I have to say, they must be pretty fucking hard up for content, that's all I have to say about that.  *LMAOROTF*  That's some really Crazy shit right there if they're scraping the Bottom of the Barrel for relevant content they could mebbe use.   I don't take myself that Seriously, and frankly, if they knew me, they might realize that I can Entertain myself sometimes going very Dark, just for my own Amusement and to have some Fun!  *LOL*  Well... and to release some of my own Demons so they can have some Playtime, coz Dark Dawn is often held at bay for everyone's sake, but Needs to come out to Play sometimes, and when Triggered, so, just sayin'.  I can be a very Mixed Bag of a Stream of Consciousness and I'm not Medicated.  *Winks and Maniacal Laughter*   Plus, clearly I'm on a Manic Bender right now and am not requiring Sleep that The Normals usually Need.  *Ha ha ha*  And, I'm very Opinionated, Militant, a staunch Advocate for Human Rights and Animal Rights, and quite often unapologetically Controversial with my Point of View.  Deal with it.

And I have Offspring also wandering the Halls like Ghouls right now, so, mebbe it's some Crazy Lunar Cycle, I haven't looked up into the Sky to check that out as a variable reason?   The Man is the only one Sleeping... coz the Freaks come out at Night... and he's not one of us really, he just cohabitates with all the Insanity, so it doesn't bother him so much anymore to be surrounded by it.  *Smiles*  The Kitchen has been busy after Midnight, but, all the Dishes got done that had stacked up, so, I don't Care.   I think it was The Man who took one for the Team and did them, tho' The Daughter was supposed to coz she was the Offender.  The rest of us Clean as we go in the Kitchen, so if there's a backlog, it's 99.9% her responsible for it and she doesn't dispute that Fact.  Princess T will keep dirty Dishes she made in her Room and then bring them out and Clean them all, so I just pretend I don't see them when I go in there to be Eli The Cat's Staff.  *Smiles*   She is her Mother's Child and they have some parallels.

Anyway, since I will have Babysitters for The Man in my absence this Sunday, I'll have an enjoyable Me Day after I drop The Daughter off at her Job site, and will have about Four Hours of Bliss before picking her up when she's done.   I Plan to thoroughly enjoy the Respite, it's Needed after how hectic the past couple Weeks has been with Family Medical Crisis still unresolved.  The Man seems to be doing Okay since his Hospital Release, Princess T is rallying and not being AS Sickly, she's been Well enuf to make it thru her Shifts at Work anyway.   Her Boyfriend is very Caring so when she goes over there he's likely looking after her if she isn't feeling Well.  She knows I got a Full Dance Card with her Grandpa, so she doesn't like to be one more Sick Person for me to Care for and worry about.   Not that I don't worry anyway, I do, I don't like it when Docs can't remedy their Situations and they stay Sick and keep having Medical Emergencies unresolved.

 

But, so far the Autumnal Vibe and all the appearance of all things Halloween have been Uplifting enuf for me.  Us Dark Spirit Folks do get Uplifted by the Macabre, the Weird & Wonderful, go figure!  *Bwahahahaha*   And I really enjoy Sharing the Visuals that Delight me for this Season, it's probably my busiest Season to Photograph the Visuals that I enjoy most.  I know it's not for everyone, so, they don't have to show up if it's not their Taste, or, they can just Read in between the Visuals and ignore the Season, I don't Care.   I never try to tell anyone what to enjoy, what to Write, what to Share on their Spaces here in The Land.   And, I don't take unsolicited Advice on what to Blog about either, my Space, my Taste, Love it or not, being here is always strictly Voluntary, none of it is Mandatory.   Free Will is a Wonderful Thing, enjoy yours and I will continue to enjoy mine too...  Freedom is Important... and you'll only fully Realize that when you no longer have it.
