Full Blown Skepticism

 

The Son got his Friend Carlos to agree to meet, after Carlos gets off Work, to go look at his Car.  I took him down there and dropped him off, they worked on it all Night and couldn't get it to stay running.  Carlos thinks it needs a full diagnostic, which would be Hundreds before they even fix it, or try to, so he doesn't think the Vehicle is worth putting that much Money into with a professional repair.  I've been saying that too, The Son has already sunk more Money into this Car than he paid for it and it's still unreliable and won't stay running.  But, he doesn't know what else to do?  Now he's fearful he could lose his Job?

Except for taking him to and fro, I don't know what to do either?  I don't know how long his Boss is willing to Carpool to meet us halfway either?  Carlos took him halfway so I didn't have to drive all the way back there the whole way, it was so late, both Guys were wiped out.  Carlos had Worked all Day and then spent all Night trying to fix the problem, to no avail, and he's a good Mechanic.  So is Adam, and Adam specializes on Electrical and was stumped on what exactly was going wrong coz the Test Equipment indicated everything was working fine, but, it isn't, clearly.  They've changed out parts they felt it could be, so it could be a multitude of things going haywire, each at a time?

Sometimes when a part fails on an older Vehicle and you replace it, then that puts pressure on other original aging parts.  So, other shit starts failing that is older and it's never ending until you rebuild the whole damned thing.   Which on some Vehicles might be worth it, but not on this Hooptie.  There's several reasons why he really can't go out and buy a Used or New Vehicle and get a Loan... and he hasn't got the Cash Saved to pay for one either.  Princess T has been Saving for a Year now and only has about half of what she would need to pay Cash for the cheapest Vehicle we've seen For Sale.  And she's good with Money and Saving, he's not.

So, he got deep inside his own Head last Night and Mentally was unraveling and bottoming out.  He's Bipolar as well as Autistic, so that's never good.   He's felt very lonely and isolated lately too, since all he does is Work and come Home to be in our Guest Bedroom, no Social Life at all.  He'd been babying that Car so it could get him to and from Work only, so he rarely used it to go anywhere lest it take a shit... which, it did anyway.  He's embarrassed that he doesn't have his own place, so he hasn't even tried to Date.  It's not like he'd bring a Woman to his Parent's House and the Guest Bedroom has all my stuff in it as decor. The Bed he uses is a Child's Full Size that Princess T used to have, so it's really short for a taller Guy.

 And now he doesn't have a functional Vehicle either and his Employer is struggling to keep Employees and can't give any of them full Hours.  It's a lot to unpack and process.  His Birthday is coming up and he wanted to go to an MMA Fight that his Good Friend is Fighting in.  One of his Friends is a Pro MMA Fighter and so he was asking everyone he knew if they wanted to attend with him?  Nobody was interested or they couldn't for one reason or another.  He asked me and initially I said No, MMA Fighting is not my Jam and I don't really have the discretionary income right now for Ringside Seats to something I'm not remotely interested in.  But, I might relent just so he can go and cheer up some.

He accidentally left the Igloo Cooler I loaned him in Carlos' Truck.  *Le Sigh*  We'd filled it with my Ice Packs and Bottled Waters so the Guys would have hydration while they worked, it was still quite Hot and not even Dark when they started at 6:00 p.m., past 11:00 p.m. when they finally gave up.  I have that early Mammogram Appointment and have to get Princess T to Work first, by 7:00 a.m., so I'm pretty wiped out myself now, not much Sleep.   The Labs are close by so at least it doesn't take me long to get to the Appointment, just a Block from our Home.  Everything we need is convenient to here, which is why this Location was Ideal to buy a Forever Home.

I don't like doing Mammograms coz Twice before now they THOUGHT they saw an anomaly.  So did an invasive Biopsy on my Breasts, one on each, and it was nothing both times.  But I had complications from botched Biopsies!   The one time they neglected to stitch me back up and left a gaping Hole that got infected.  With being an Insulin Diabetic that was life threatening and took Months to Heal, it got ulcerated and was painful, the wound wouldn't close for a long time, the Scar is unsightly.   The other time they left an unsightly raised Scar and it got Scar Tissue all around it, which made a lump that wasn't there before.  Not to mention it Freaks you Out when they THINK they found something, especially when there's a Family History!

 Basically they made Two fine looking Breasts look unsightly by the Surgical Procedures they did that turned out to be unnecessary.  Nothing had been Wrong with my Breasts, a "False Negative" they call it I think!  And, the Anxiety of them reading the results Wrong was almost worse than the Pain of the Biopsies and botched job done of both that was also very painful and risky.   So, I don't like assuming those kinds of risks or trauma yet again at all.   Get a Technician that can Read the results better and don't do unnecessary procedures to milk Money out of Insurances/Patients.  

Which, I'm not entirely sure isn't part of why unnecessary procedures are suggested and then done?  I'm skeptical, it's all rather a Money Grab IMO with a lot of Western Medicine and Pharmaceuticals.  So, yeah, I'm a full blown Skeptic.   And besides, does any Woman like having a Mammogram?  I think not, that whole procedure isn't pleasant at all, having your Tits squashed between Two Plates of Metal X-Ray Equipment. 

 I'm Lucky I guess that I have big Tits, so I've heard it's harder and more uncomfortable, or even painful, for Gals with Small ones?  *LOL*  Us bodacious Gals have no problem slinging them up on there.  *Winks*  I'd think Women with fake Tits have an even harder time and risk implants rupturing during the procedure?  Now there's a Visual for ya.  *Bwahaha*   But, for Real Pixs I CAN actually Share for a Post rather than Tit Torture *Snicker*, Above are a couple of Chilis recently made... the one still in the Crockpot made last Night and the one Above made last Week.

Levity aside, I dread this Procedure for all the above reasons aforementioned.   I'm glad I don't have to get it done all that often, but due to Family History, I should.   My Paternal Native American Grandma Died of Breast Cancer, but she never went to Non-Tribal Doctors, didn't Trust them, used Tribal Medicine exclusively, she was Old School Indian. And one of Dad's Younger Sisters Died of Cancer too, my Mom was a Cancer Survivor of Female related Cancer, so my Docs insist I get screened regularly. 

 And that's why I get particularly Anxious when they say they Found something that isn't there and Emotionally wreck you, and do invasive procedures, until they realize, oh, it was Nothing... Sorry, you're Good.  *Eye Roll*  Yes, it's a huge relief to find out it was Nothing... but, still... putting you thru all that for Nothing, isn't Okay.

I Wish I had some Positive News to Report, but I got nothing. 
And is it Wrong of me to be enjoying the Childish shockingly Infantile Online smackdown grudge match between the Ketamine King and Donnie Two Dolls that has escalated to ridiculous levels?  I mean, one is the President of the United States and most Powerful Man in the World, the other is the Richest Man in the World, and they're acting like Elementary School Bullies with zero Emotional Regulation or Adult Maturity!!!   Now that the Bromance is over, it's like a very messy embittered Divorce with lots of bruised Ego displayed.  It's a National Embarrassment that we have a President of the United States that indulges in Online High Drama and poorly restrained Written reckless Online Bullying all the time with no Filter and no Professionalism.  It's certainly not Presidential and is a National Security Issue when he can't exercise any ability not to Mouth off about everything and anything that falls out of his Mouth and in late Night rambling impulsive Tweets. 

  But, rather than cower in Fear like everyone else, he fucking Triggered ole Elon and he's gone completely Mental and vicious.  Elon's gone right over the Cliff and no telling what he's seen while being given unlimited Access and might now spill the Tea on... since, he's taken big Hits financially and professionally over all this and may be on a Vengeance and Retribution Tour of his own now.  Threaten him like Donnie is, and I think rather than being Intimidated, he'll let loose with no holds barred and the Gloves will be completely off!   Let's face it, he is Intelligent enuf to realize he was Used and was a Fall Guy for a consummate Conman who Played him well.  Donnie Two Dolls is a Seasoned Conman, I'll give Credit where it's due.  But, he seriously underestimated the Wrath of Elon and picked a formidable Adversary to Screw Over and Use.  

Elon Lost a lot by Supporting this President, more Money than most people could even fathom Losing.  He took big Risks for this Administration and it didn't pay off.   But, he's a Risk Taker, so it's his Super Power and his Weakness to be.  He Voted for Biden in the past and I doubt was ever a Republican or a Conservative either.  But, I think he got Conned into thinking he was their Guy to cut fiscal Government irresponsibility and he fell for it.  Elon doesn't like Government at all.  But, Donnie Two Dolls gravely miscalculated that Elon is an unstable Genius and has pretty significant Autism, huge Ego, more Money than anyone in the World, and a legendary Temper.  Not to mention clouded by serious Substance Abuse, this makes him quite a dangerous and unpredictable Threat.

Not someone you want as an Adversary, no matter who you are.  Elon probably has other Mental Health Issues, and a serious Drug Addiction, so, Donnie Two Dolls is flying too close to the Sun on this one.  Elon has gone Nuclear and FAST.  Plus, he's Young, so he could do some harm to everyone for a very long time if they get on his Wrong Side.  This Prez, is so Old and Addled, he probably won't last his Term.   So, the Administration better choose their Battles wisely on which side of this Feud they want to align with.  It puts the ReTrumplican Ass Kissers in a tight spot, doesn't it?   Two Guys that can make or break 'em and a Side to choose being on... plus having to consider their Constituents Leanings... may the Games begin!!!  *LMAO*

  Donnie Two Dolls would throw each and every one of them under the Bus, he Uses everyone and then discards them and stabs them in the Back.   I wouldn't Back him for anything, he can't be Trusted and Sacrifices even his Own.  So, anyway, Elon's response was Epic, quick, relentless, and went Hard!!!  The Epstein jab was particularly well Played and perception with the Public is everything.  Even without Evidence or Proof.  And tho' they play it off as Epstein committed Suicide... I seriously doubt it.  And, I think it has been said that Donnie is definitely on that "List" from reliable Sources already... and Epstein needed to be Silenced and was rather quickly... I'm sure that List had a lot of Names not to be Named!

 Very suspect "Suicide" and conditions surrounding him being Deaded and Silenced so conveniently before he could start Naming Names and Singing like a Canary.  Frankly I do think Donnie Two Dolls has been involved in all the Sex Trafficking High Profile Perps Criminal Enterprises, past and present, Diddy included.  He's been super Close to all of them and done Business with many of them.   When ALL your Bros are involved in shit, the chances of you not being, well... let us be Real.  You are Judged by the Company you Keep and Bad Company Corrupts even Good Character and Donnie Two Dolls has never had Good Character to begin with.

 There's a virtual Laundry List of his Bros involved in Sex Scandals and Indictments for Sex Trafficking and Criminal Enterprises.  He himself is now a known adjudicated Sex Offender, so it's not such a stretch or far out Conspiracy Theory to assume he's on some Lists, if the Lists exist.   And it's not like the Government wouldn't then cover that shit up, since he's the President.  Cover Ups with Presidents and important Officials happen all the damned time, on both sides of the Aisles. 

 Shit is constantly being revealed now that was Covered Up before... so his Dirty Laundry will eventually all be aired, mebbe post mortem tho'?  They often wait 'til powerful and influential or scary people Die before exposing and dishing out their Dirt completely.   And ole Donnie has been Indicted more than anyone I can think of for a Host of Serious Criminal Activities, he's no Boy Scout or Saint, he's not Clean or Innocent.  And he's still committing unprecedented Illegal Acts continuously, coz he got that idiotic Supreme Court Blanket Immunity from Prosecution for being a Career Criminal President.  That was part of his Long Con and he pulled it off.

Oh, I do have some Positive News to tell, Princess T Won Two Awards at Work!   One for Spirit Week participation and one for Perfect Attendance for this Issuance of an Attendance Award.  The latter is a Big Deal for her coz her Employer knows she has chronic Health Issues, so staying Well enuf not to miss Work is no easy task for her.   So, her Boss is buying her Chipotle for Lunch Today and she got some Gift presented too.  She's Sad coz a lot of her Friends are quitting, it's making her consider a Career Move already, premature, I've told her to Cool her Jets some.  They've been flexible with her, many Employers won't if you have Special Needs and chronic Illness.  It's close by and she lacks her own Transportation.  She wants to earn more than Minimum Wage tho'.

Even her Boss told her she has potential to Earn more and this should just be a jumping off point for her, so that boosted her confidence.   But, I know she has a lot of absences and even if you're an exceptional Employee, that will be held against you.  So, I just want her to Save for her first Vehicle, learn to Drive, have confidence in that first and autonomy, then make a Career decision based on prudence and not what Friends are doing around her or saying.  Most of them aren't any further along in Life than she is, most are Older than she is and no further along in Life, so they're not the most reliable Sources of Advice.  *LOL*

Anyway, back to News... watching the Diddy Trial is making me Crazy, it's become Judicial Theater and how it's being Prosecuted is just Odd. First of all, I've never seen a Criminal Enterprise Case with only One Defendant!   One Guy doesn't constitute a Criminal Enterprise, typically there's multiple Defendants.  This has all the markings of a RICO Case, and yet they're presenting it, so far, more like a DV Case.   Which might prove to the Jury that he's a Violent Awful Partner with very Kinky Wicked Sexual tastes, but I doubt it helps to prove what he's been Indicted for and get a Conviction?  

 It's very disjointed and they've had to give Immunity to Witnesses who really are probably folks that would have been Co-Defendants had they not been granted Immunity.   And, who at best aren't all that Credible as it turns out, so, Why even use them?   Do I think he's Guilty of what he's been Accused of?  Yep.  Do I think they got the Goods to Prove it and get a Conviction, I just don't know, with how they're going about it so far?  And if he gets Acquitted and found Not Guilty by that Jury, they can't then re-charge him for the same Crimes and he'll have gotten away with it.  And, I think he has the means to intimidate that Jury and tamper with it, or play the Celebrity Card with some of them like OJ did.  Everyone was pretty damned sure OJ was Guilty, but that wasn't the Verdict. 

Celebrity Trials are always more Theatrical becoz of who the Defendant just is.   When I worked for our DA's Office we had numerous Celebrity Cases and they came across my Desk.   Some got Convicted and some didn't, but it was always more complex to Prosecute a High Profile Case and a lot more pressure for the Prosecution.   Celebs usually hire the best Defense Money can Buy, so often those Defense Attorneys are Celebs in and of themselves, due to their Reputation being that well known.   And the Public Adoration is always at Play with Celebs.  These Televised High Profile Cases are the Worst, you almost can't get an Impartial Jury.  How could you, they'd have had to of been Hermits and own no way of hearing about anything going on in the World to be truly impartial and not know about the Case, or the Celebrity.

LATER:  They've improved the Mammogram procedure so it wasn't that uncomfortable and I had a good Tech and they got me in early.  However, there was a Woman there having a meltdown and I didn't blame her.  She too had an early appointment, got there way in time by Uber, they skipped over her and never called her in.  She went up to inquire why it was so far past her Appointment time and they said they had a schedule error and forgot her!  And now they didn't have any more openings for the rest of the day!   Could she re-schedule and come back Tomorrow Morning?  She lost her shit!  She'll have to take an Uber back Home and pay all over again for wasted transport costs and another wasted Morning, they should at least offer to reimburse her.

I didn't have that problem, I got in earlier than my Appointment.  She wasn't having a Mammogram done, they do other Lab stuff like MRI, so I don't know what Tests she was having done or how urgent to have it done, whatever it is?  Afterwards I had Breakfast at "First Watch" and had the Elote Burrito, which is a Seasonal limited time item on their new Summer Menu.  Delicious!  And their Million Dollar Bacon, also delish, and their Specialty Caramel Cold Brew Coffee, is Sublime!  The Man just had Cheese Grits, he wasn't all that hungry but wanted to tag along since I'd left him Home to go to my Appointment.   I only ate a small part {1/3} of my Burrito and am saving the rest for Lunch 

The Son found another Mechanic Friend who will go look at his Car and see if he can get it going for him?   If not, Gypsy James will tow it to his House so it will be somewhere that The Son has more of a Peace about it being while they figure out what to do from there?   Gypsy James had Sold him the Car, so does feel guilty he Sold him a POS... this is Why I told The Son NOT to Buy a Vehicle from a Friend in the Future, better to Buy from a Business that will have to stand behind what they Sell to you and go ballistic on should they Sell you a POS.  *Winks*   So, I'll be driving him over there yet again, luckily the Mechanic Friend lives close to where it is, 2 Miles away.

All day my Left Foot has been swollen and very painful to walk on, no idea why or what is wrong with it, don't recall injuring it.  But, with Diabetic Neuropathy you don't always know you have a problem until it's really a problem, coz of Diabetic Nerve Damage.  You get Pain from the Neuropathy and yet loss of sensation in your extremities, so it's a very Odd feeling.  You don't always FEEL an injury right away and you might have excruciating Nerve Pain from having not done any injury at all, but is Diabetic related.   It's the Top of my Foot from the Little Toe and the next Two Toes next to it, swollen right above those Three Toes.  So, wearing Shoes hurts, even Sandals.  

 I called in to Work to say I couldn't make it, coz I couldn't see being on my Feet Four Hours having to Walk a lot coz Friday Nights have been busy.  I'm in too much Pain to even have a Shoe on it right now so I'm wearing a Sock on that Foot 'til the Swelling goes down.   And, frankly, I was not feeling all that ambitious to even go in to Work Tonight coz I'm Tired from how hairy and stressful Thursday had been.  I'm just a fill-in for Richard anyway on Friday Nights.  And Steven, the Manager, had told me if I had a problem on any Friday, being able to make it in, for any reason, just to let them know and they'd have it covered for me.  This was such a time as that.

I'd made some Chili last Night with that White Bean Chili Mix I'd bought from "World Market", putting Beef in it rather than Chicken, adding some Black Eyed Peas, Brown and White Tepary Beans too.   But, it was very bland, The Son and I agreed that their Mix smelled good but didn't really have a lot of Flavor, so we jazzed it up with some Chili Spicing we usually use and then it turned out fine.   So, I wouldn't buy that Mix again, too bland for our tastes, we like more flavor.  {It was Pictured several Pixs Above}

I just found out that my favorite Yaqui Artist who I Collect the Skull Art of, Ben Molina, The Creative Native, passed away.  I had wondered why I hadn't seen his Art anymore at our other Antique Mall Location where he'd been for many Years.  I was saddened to hear of his Passing, I have a fairly large Collection of his Work and just Wish I had more of it.   I don't think he was widely Known, only Locally and made a limited amount of his Indigenous Art Inspired Skulls.  I Photographed many of them over the Years that I don't have in my Collection.   There are some I Wished I'd Bought, but, his Work wasn't cheap, good Art never is, so I'd only indulge and Buy one every once in a while when I could splurge on Quality Art with Collectible Value.   A lot of the Designs Ben did is a lost Indigenous Art Form that only the Elders of the Tribe still do... and may be Lost to Time...
