I've been on the Hunt... for something very specific... Funky Cowboy Boots, Gypsy Style with a decidedly Ultra Vintage Vibe.

I saw a Gal wearing THE PERFECT BOOTS recently... and neglected to stop her and ask where she got them from or who designs them!!! *Le Sigh*  They had Peace Signs & other 60's embellishments in the Leather... I've been searching in vain for the exact Boots ever since... and I've come close... spying some alternatives that are almost as perfect... ALMOST!

I hate when that happens... when you see something absolutely perfect and don't act upon finding out the facts for your Wish List!  All I do know is that they appeared custom and thus must be expensive... so I can take comfort in knowing I probably couldn't afford them for awhile anyway, well, without selling one of the G-Kids that is *Smiles*... which buys me the time to seek them out eventually, right? *Winks*  But until then I shall enjoy the visual delights of all the other Funky Cowboy Boot Styles out there... and know that I'll 'score' mine some day...

Please join us for the SILVER SUNDAY Blog Party Hosted by GYPSY FISH... My entry is the Bohemian Silver on the Black Cowboy Boots, after all, anything shiny catches the Bohemian eye and if you can't see me from the Road then I'm not wearing enough! *Winks* ... Show us your Silver!!!

Dawn... The Bohemian

  1. Ahhh.. this is one of this gypsy girls favorite accessories!
    Love it!

  2. FANTASTIC! I LOVE these! I also like the idea of the peace symbol on the boots. I've thought off and on over the years of having some cowgirl boots, I go for the fun colors, but alas, like you have noticed, the cooler, the more expensive. I have seen some cute short, pink ones in a store nearby and I just might go for them. Wonder if a girl could dress them up someway herself?? I've seen Mary Emerling has some cool boots--I'm sure you've heard of her. And Fifi ONeill of Romantic Homes magazine, she has a cool style and recently featured some fantastic boots she bought and I believe they were from Junk Gypsy. She has a blog--can't think of it at the moment, but I've got it in my favorites... oh,

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving comments--I just loved reading them and you've inspired me in so many ways. Love the way you write.

Well, I'm off to see what else you have posted about here. Have a great AZ day!

  3. Love, love, love the boots. I'll take one of each!

  4. So much colorfull beauty! I could not choose one of them. Have a great day!

  5. Hi Dawn Sweetie...
Oh how gorgeous are these gypsy boots. I see several pair that I wouldn't mind having. I love anything with red and turquoise on them. Cute, cute and even more cute.

Thank you for taking me along. I am going to check out that Rust and Roses shop. You have mentioned that before. I just have to stop in and take a look. Thank you for sharing sweet friend.

This is the Miracle Weekend makeover. I am one of the hosting sites. For every comment left, Guideposts magazine will pay a dollar, to the next cancer makeover patient. Please stop by and read the story about 9 year old Charlie, and bless me with a comment. Out goal between the 4 or 5 blogs is 5,000. I know we can do it. I would appreciate it, if you pass the word around to as many friends as possible.

Thank you sweetie for a wonderful post. I love it. Have a glorious weekend. Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry

  6. You WILL find the perfect boots, Dawn, or should I say they will find you, lol...I LOVE mine, which are the same as the ones in the top photo, and whenever I wear them, people stop me in the street! They make me happy...
