Sweet Salvage ~ Backroads And Blooms

It was time once again to make the Pilgrimage into the City for the SWEET SALVAGE Event, this Month's Theme was 'Backroads And Blooms', which would really get you into a Spring Vibe.   My long time Friend Tina came with me since she was in Town visiting and we kept each other accountable on sticking to the Budgets.  *Smiles*  I resisted some Amazing stuff... I particularly Loved this Antique Pincushion Chick upcycled into a Fab Necklace that my Friend Cyndie Created!

So... what was my haul, since we were such 'Good' Girls and resisted the Temptation to break the Bank?  *Winks*   I got the Book of the Month "My Floral Affair" by Rachel Ashwell, which isn't available in Bookstores locally... the very small but heavy Copper Buddha and the Adorable Chalkware Kitsch Insane Easter Bunny that reminded me of Edvard Munch's "The Scream"... coz that's about how I feel most Holidays anymore!  *LMAO*

For those of you who might not be familiar with this Iconic piece of Art... here it is.   *Smiles*   But, Today was a very Good Day, no Insanity whatsoever... Winks... we had a lovely Lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory and did the whole Downtown Thing while we were in the City.  It was Nice to be chauffeured around since my Friend drove this time, we always try to take turns since who enjoys driving in The City, right?   The Event will run thru Sunday Afternoon so you still have plenty of time and they re-stock daily.
