Cher's Gothic Malibu Villa

**ALL BEAUTIFUL IMAGES GLEANED FROM GOOGLE SEARCH ONLINE, all Credit therefore goes to the Amazing Photographers and Publications that Profiled Cher's Home.***

Well, since we're having Gothic Villa Visions a Blog Friend who shares a similar Aesthetic to my own suggested Cher's Version of Goth Style was particularly Appealing, so of coarse I had to immediately Google all of these Images to take a gander!  *Ha ha ha*   And OMG... the Delightful Combo of Styles including Italian Renaissance, Gothic Revival and Buddhist Influences blew me away in this Imagery... which might be a mix of several of her Homes, but I don't care, it's ALL beyond Fabulous!  Now I think I NEED one of those Palms in my Living Room too!  *Smiles*

You know how I said in the previous Post that I automatically do a Subconscious Re-Styling of just about most Homes I enter no matter how Pretty or well Styled, envisioning how I'd put MY own Spin on the rooms?   Well, there are some Exceptions where I can't even Imagine any Improvement upon how it's already done... Cher's Stylish Home would be one of them!   Well, I mean, she's Cher after all and there's not much Improvement to add to that is there?  *Winks*  She's been one of my all time Favorite and Inspirational Iconic Free Spirits of my Generation EVER.  This Room is as Perfect as I could Imagine it being, I'd move right in!  *Smiles*

Same with this room... couldn't get any better than this... those Chandies and Ceiling are to DIE for!  And though I wouldn't need quite this much seating since I probably wouldn't have as many folks over for a Dinner Party as Cher might... Bwahahaha... I'm Loving the Gothic Chairs and Plum Velvet Tablecloth puddling to the Floor!   And the Architectural Details of this Room are Sublime!

Now... on to a Cher Boudoir... and I KNEW it was gonna be breathtaking where ever the Magic would happen at Cher's!!! *Winks*   Well, if I could have that Look in our Master Boudoir I'd nix the Gothic Canopy Bed because I am certain that The Man would find this more Peaceful and Restful too... it's just so Zen and yet Moorish enough to suit my Style as well.   Loving the Chandies again.  Yes, this would certainly be a Peaceful Retreat.

And even the areas that are Minimalistic in her Home are Ideal and I wouldn't change a thing...

And the Exterior Features and Architecture... well, OMG... took my breath away... those upstairs Windows... and those Archways... it's simply my Vision of a slice of Heaven here on Earth!

And of coarse being in Malibu there is the VIEW... well, that is truly Priceless... Dream Home AND Dream View, right?  *Ha ha ha*

The Gothic Revival Stone Mantlepiece is Sublime too...

And the Gothic Cabana Poolside... Yowsah... yep, Cher's Nest is absolutely Dreamy and I wouldn't have Expected anything less from someone whose always had her own Distinctive Style and makes no Apologies for it.   Your Home Rocks Cher... but then, so do you Beautiful Wild Free Spirited Lady.

  3. Did you know Cher had a mail order business for Gothic Home Decor for a while, Dawn? I don't know how long it lasted, but I won a copy of the catalogue on Ebay a few years ago and there were some nice things - and the prices were actually quite affordable! Not sure where that catalogue is now though. ;)

  4. I love this place. I had an event here back in May last year and I felt like it was a perfect day for us! The LA event venues provides you with an event Specialist as part of your package which is extremely helpful. Plus all of us dressed up only added to the entire ambience.
