Mad Tea Party 2014 ~ I'm Very White Rabbit This Year!

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date No time to say "Hello", "Goodbye" I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!!!

Yes, I'm very White Rabbit this Year about joining The 2014 Mad Tea Party being Hosted by the ever Imaginative and Creative Miss Vanessa over at A FANCIFUL TWIST!!!   *Gasp!!!*  Yes, it's True, me who thoroughly Enjoys Mad Tea Parties like The Mad Hatter and who tumbles down The Rabbit Hole daily in Life almost missed the opportunity to join in!!!  Almost...

And Dear Vanessa's Mad Tea Parties are always Epic... so they're not ones to miss or be late for!   But again, I was so very White Rabbit this year... I've been White Rabbit in fact for most of 2014 already so I shouldn't even be Surprised at myself for running so far behind even joining the best of Parties!!!

And there's no Excuse really... After all, we have Tea Parties here almost every day... and Madly... since Madly is how we always Roll... even when we're not having Tea!  *Winks*

We have Teacups galore... and Teaspoons galore... and when it comes to Tea...

Well... we are practically Tea Hoarders and have a Sampling of just about every Tea known to Man!!!   I won't even Photograph all the Teas you could select from... it would be an Epic Post all it's own!!!  *Smiles*  But suffice to say if we don't have the Tea... it probably doesn't really Exist!

But this Year, because I'm so very White Rabbit, I Predict that there was no Real Confections to be had in time to join the Party... we'd eaten them all before I remembered there even was a 2014 Mad Tea Party Online going on that I should've Photographed everything for first!  *Ooops!!!*

And it was much too late to hit a Bakery now or roust The Mad Tea Party Princess this year for her Mad Tea Party Photo Op... she'd already drank her Tea hours ago and gone to Blissful Slumber where she could Dream about falling down other Rabbit Holes besides ours!

What to do?  What to do?  When you must make a White Rabbit Entrance to the Party... rushing in sliding sideways... with faux food on your plate and Tea still brewing and yet to be Served?

To impromptu Guests you Invited late just so you wouldn't be having Tea all by yourself!?!  *LOL*  Yes, even Bling Baby looks stunned doesn't she?  What??!?!   Tea at this ungodly hour?!?!  Um... yes... do you mind?  *Winks*

But even tho' late I made it... by the skin of my teeth... and with trusty Camera in hand... since Pathological Picture Taking at any hour is the Norm for me and the one thing I'm almost always prepared to do on the Fly!!!   *Smiles*

Staging my pathetic little Mad Tea Party that I almost forgot about... and which I'll now probably spend Hours Tonight visiting the Tea Parties of all the other PREPARED Participants whose Parties are sure to take my Breath away... I know Miss Vanessa's will... it always does!

And Hopefully Next Year I shall be better prepared and not so White Rabbit-ish?!?!?!

Blessings from the Arizona Desert where we're having Tea now well past Midnight... Now that's what I call True Madness!  *winks*... The End... Dawn... The Bohemian

  2. I've smiled and giggled my way through your post, I'm glad it's not just me who leaves things to the last minute or forgets until the llth hour. I was so surprised I actually got my posts up on time yesterday. There is a saying 'Better late than never' though and I'm so glad you still put your post up. You've given us such a wide choice of tea to chose from and such pretty teacups to drink from, so enjoyed my visit.

  12. Hello, again, Dawn….I thought I'd visit your tea party while I'm over here. Faux food? It looks so real….What a pretty little guest at your party! SO cute.

I was also pressed for time with the party this year as I hosted a family birthday and had other functions. I could only work out a Breakfast Tea at our home!

I love our teacup collection. I want to find an interesting teacup and paint it on a really large canvas one day. Yours look like they'd fit the bill for sure!

  23. Well, as a rabbit I understand completely about being late. As for tea, tea is always on time. Every moment is tea time and it doesn't really matter if your pocket watch is stopped. I'd love a cup. I'm so glad you made it for the Mad Tea Party, and you do have the loveliest selection of teas (and tea cups).
