Sweet Salvage ~ Romancing The Home ~ Finale
I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars. - Og Mandino (1923-1996)
Art is about feeding your Soul, not selling it. - Robin Brown of "Magnolia Pearl"
For creativity to flourish one should try to look at everything as though it were being seen for the first or the last time. - Quote from "A Thousand Paths To Creativity" by David Baird
Is what I'm about to say an improvement on silence? ~ Galen Pearl
If one is inspired by the works of others, it is not to say that our visions are not original and from our own souls; but absorbing other Artists' Stories and expressions adds dimensions to our creativity on a much deeper level, bringing Technicolor and stereo sound to our work. I believe that by exploring how Artists work with color, space, and juxtapositions, it can open us up to new ideas that can become our own, depending on how we interpret them. ~ Rachel Ashwell ~ Shabby Chic Inspirations & Beautiful Spaces
Somehow, I have a hard time believing that "To go or not to go" is really YOUR question!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this last Romancing the Home post (though when I visit you, I always feel like I'm taking great big gulps of soda). It's hard to "sip" here.
I was here Thursday, what a place, what crowds. I am so happy to see them turning 7th Ave into a nice little vintage paradise.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think your husband should get you a print of the painting (assisting with the hinting)What lovely lovlies you photographed! I too really REALLY like the stained glass window!! But, I must say the burlap covered chair and otoman leave me a little perplexed. I know burlap is an "in" faric right now but I can't see me covering a chair with it... Unless someone wanted to have a backup for when their hairshirt is at the cleaners...-lol-
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Always, Queenie
