Beautiful Old Details
I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars. - Og Mandino (1923-1996)
Art is about feeding your Soul, not selling it. - Robin Brown of "Magnolia Pearl"

Is what I'm about to say an improvement on silence? ~ Galen Pearl
If one is inspired by the works of others, it is not to say that our visions are not original and from our own souls; but absorbing other Artists' Stories and expressions adds dimensions to our creativity on a much deeper level, bringing Technicolor and stereo sound to our work. I believe that by exploring how Artists work with color, space, and juxtapositions, it can open us up to new ideas that can become our own, depending on how we interpret them. ~ Rachel Ashwell ~ Shabby Chic Inspirations & Beautiful Spaces
Great details in those antiques, Dawn! I think that's what I love about things from bygone eras, too... their quality of cratftsmanship. Everything was beautiful to the eye, down to the simplest of things.
